I asked A question calling HQ and they didn't even have the professionalism to even e-mail me with the response. this is the reason I'm moving my scripts to CVS or winn dixie.
I went to the Walgreens in Surprise, az. I will never go to that pharmacy again. The Tech was so rude and argumentive. I was not the only one that she treated like that. I have seen older folks treated with disrespect and no dignity. There is also another young tech who is equally rude. The sad thing is that the Pharmasist was standing there and never did or said anything. It just disgust me the way they treat the public who come for assistance. Never , never, never wil go there again.
I went to the Walgreens in Surprise,Az. Yes, they are the most rude techs I have ever met. Just plain rude and nasty. Never listen to anything you have to say.I went to both Wall-Mart and Frys and they treat you with respect and dignity.... A big fat zero star for Wallgreens!!!!!
my rating is zero im. in morgan hill ca.the worst walgreens ever the manager is rude and treats the employees like shit she makes them do unsafe stuff im not ever going there again i will change to CVS instead she needs people skills she should not be allowed to work with the public most of the employees have been fired or quit ive been coming to walgreens for many years but will not return im so happy they built CVS cuz thats where i will go now thanks to the manager there and im not the only one to leave there are many other people who feel the same corporate needs to check up on their stores cuz they are getting bad reviews i enjoy the employs they are very helpful its the manager whos bringing down the store

If I could I would give Walgreens -5 stars, they are a HORRIBLE COMPANY who treat chronic pain patients like scumbag junkies and literally the scum of the earth!!! I have debilitating back pain caused by 11 herniated discs and 2 ruptured discs throughout my back, I see a pain mgmt specialist after my PCP told me there wasn't much else he could do to helpe with my pain, I have seen 9 back specialists concerning surgery as well as ANY other options that I may have and try have ALL told me that not only would they not perform surgery on me but that it wasn't even an option for me unless I didn't mind being paralyzed for the rest of my life "I'm 30 yrs old btw" Walgreens phaacy REFUSES TO FILL my pain medication because they don't think that a pain mgmt dr is a real doctor!!!! I know Florida has had its share of problems and people abusing narcotic pain meds but what about people like me who ARE IN LEGITIMATE PAIN??? I was told by a walgreens pharmacy manager this morning to get clean and that my pain meds don't do anything more for me that 2 Advil wouldn't do...the next thing she said to me was I should buy my drugs on the street like the rest of the junkies!!!! Shame on you Walgreens and your HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES, and shame on you for allowing your "pharmacy mangers" to talk to people like that, I have transferred ALL my Rx's out of your stores and would buy a bandwidth from you if I had just cut off my toe!!! I hope you go out of business you horrible wretched company!!!
I have been a pharmacist for Walgreens for 10 years. While Walgreens was once a great place to work for and a great drugstore, it has now become a bottom-tier employer to work for. Salaries capped or reduced, bonuses capped, terrible communication between corporate/district management and the employees at individeal stores has brought on new lows to Walgreen's employee morale. Corporate decision making has pushed many pharmacy staffs, Pharmacists to Pharmacy Technicians, to the brink of, or actual, resignation. Corporate decision making has made nearly every one of it's pharmacies horrendously and appallingly understaffed, forcing it's pharmacists to do more with less. This company was once a terrific company to work for, but the board of directors needs to address employee's engagement (corporate will tell you it is better - however, their surveys are extremely flawed) and loyalty and morale to the company is at an all-time low. Although Walgreens may try to sell the fact that it is a great drugstore, the fact of the matter is that the corporate decision making has made it unattractive to prospective employees, in particular pharmacists. The store I work at spent some 25 thousand dollars in June to bring pharmacists from other parts of the state in order to adequately staff the pharmacy; this number does not include payroll, it is simply the cost of bringing in staff from all over Texas to "cover" pharmacist's shifts. In summary, despite corporate trying to "sell" it's pharmacy services as the best among it's competitors, pharmacists are fleeing the drowning ship, and corporate and district level management is simply choosing to ignore the problem and is forcing it's current pharmacy staff (which is forever dwindling because of lack of loyalty and engagement to the company it works for) to work in an environment that is completely unreasonable and unsafe for the patients. Walgreeds current CEO's are only concerned with it's obligations to make shareholders happy, and as a result, the brick and mortar stores are suffering, if not suffocating. A wonderful example of just how confident the CEO's of Walgreeds are in the success of the company is the fact that the CEO's of the company opted to cash out their annual bonuses in Walgreens stock options last year. If the CEO's don't think that their own company is a good investment, who should think that it is a good investment.
I've been with this store for a few months now, and I can say without a doubt that it is going down the hole, management at my store is horrible, they're more worried about looking busy and hiding than helping customers. We have repeatedly had floaters come in because we were short on managers and they would pretty much hide the whole shift in the office or in the breakroom and lie to customers when they didnt feel like doing something. When i was hired there were also about 3 other people hired at the same time, so very short staffed and now I see why. Im looking for a transfer now because I have some transportation issues and they refuse to try and accomidate any on the schedule. I have to call in some days that i tell them ahead of time I cant work but they still schedule me for it anyway, so in response to that they cut my hours from 38 a week to 22 to 5 and im supposed to be full time. The whole store is pretty much cliqued out and if you arent trying to brown nose the managers lacky then unfortunately you get screwed. As for the other 3 people that were hired when I was, 2 of them are down to one or 2 days a week if that and the other person is quitting all together and i dont blame her at all. Im not sure about any other stores because I havent worked there personally but as far as I can say for this store, I see a overhaul in management in the near future and hope it comes soon.
One of your manger's has his own store witch he run's with his wife. It is called Destination Dallor 2720 Shelly Rd Harleysville, pa 19438 Phone # 215 256 6860. He is the Manger at your north Whales stors And is there every night at 6:00 to closing. At Destination Dollar.
I was filling a perscription in naples fl with walgreens and they said they did not feel comftorble filling my perscription. on my way out the door my moms neighbor went in to fill her perscription. They filled her perscription in 15 min and I later found out that it is for the same medication i get. So your pharmacist seen a 29 year old woman in there and assumed that I was just another young person looking for a drugs. I am being treated for cancer and am in alot of pain but I dont get all the crazy medicine on tv(like roxycodone, ect...)A pharmacist is not a dr and didnt spend time in school to know how to diagnois a patient just by looking at them. My dr knows what I need. Then later found out (because it is public knowledge) that my dr is suing walgreens because they said he was not pain mngmt. My dr is pain Managment and they can see that through they new dea dtabase. so now not only is he suing but so am I. Ithink that is very unprofessional.and yes some dr's are writting narcotics to patiens w/ hardly anything wrong w/ them but the pharmacist knows that my dr is not a "pill mill" it is a very simple problem to fix. every county knows where the pill mils are located and you can refuse that scrip. and if they don't(know where these pill mills are located ) all they have to do is call the dea and they wil be glad to tell you but insteas your comany disciminates. Again they are not the dr. they cannot say what is wrong w/ you, they are a pharmacist and there job is to fill and make sure the customer only sees 1 dr a month. this pharmacy is located in naples,fl in the brooks shopping center and on the corner of immokalee and collier blvd()951
Situation Mary Brown, Office Manager says that he has an emergency and that he will be about half an hour late for an appointment with Anna White, Marketing Manager. The meeting was for 9.00 am at the Rhino Restaurant. She asks you to phone the restaurant to change the booking and to fax a memo under her name to Anna White telling her of the change in plans. "Apologise to her ... tell her that it is still very important that we meet ... I need to know all the details …… she will understand what I mean ... about our next year's marketing strategies. If she cannot make the new time, ask her to telephone you and I will check with you later in the morning."
When filling out an application, it says that a conviction will not necessarily bar you from employment. I turned one in at a store where the Manager knew who I was, knew a little about my family, and was trying to help me out so I can take, house, and feed my daughters. My background failed and was not able to get hired. When I called their corporate store, they told me that they don't at all hire convicted felons. When I told her about what the application says, she told me to hold on and then pushed me off to someone else. I kept getting pushed around till someone hung up on me. When I called back, they hung up on me again. I hope they read this. Companies like this hurt people by not giving them a chance. Companies like this are NOT considered CHRISTIAN COMPANIES.
I am so offended at the lack of concern at a few separate Walgreen's pharmacies as I am still waiting to get a non narcotic psychiatric medication that I desperately need on a daily basis that I have been on in the past to be filled now for a little over 6 weeks since I dropped the script off. I do need this to function and this medication is needed to be taken with other meds for it to work. Thank you Walgreens for not caring enough about your patients to jeopardize their life by not following up on having this needed medication authorized even though I have personally been to the store uncountable times over this past month and 1/2 regarding this. Stop passing the buck deescalating this down to regional corporate whenthey cannot help since this has been addressed in the past by regional corporate only to have the same problem the very next time I drop off my prescriptions that again I have been on in the past over and over again. I hope your company doesn't kill me while I am waiting for wallgreens to give me my needed meds as I am feeling the effects of not being on this and it is a matter of time when my body stops because of lack of meds. Thank you again Wallgreens for trying to kill me and not caring to even follow up in any timely fashion at all. I would suggest to all who has similar issues to not waste your time here but rather simply report this to the media as in my opinion that will be the only way the wheels will work in your favor with this company.
Most unqualified CEO; Rph thru the ranks ??? Poor Rph supervision; just switched to Rite Aid, $10,000 yr + rx business lost (my wife & I) Store Rph & staff in Gaylord MI forced my change. I call him the "one hour" guy.
Cashier 265-Eileen should be fired for either being in collusion or simply being totally negligent. She allowed, with no id, over 450 dollars in charges to occur in three separate transactions for beer and pre payed credit cards. Eileen is a FOOL and should be fired or prosecuted.
I quit dealing with Walgreens in my area over 2 years ago due to there rude attitudes and slow pace! Since then I only go to Rite Aid. Since I do take 2 medications which h are controlled substances my insurance requires me to stick with the same pharmacy for monitoring purposes. I have no problem with this. Also, I have always been treated with dignity and respect by the pharmacy staff even as a Medicaid recipient! When there is a problem/ issue, the pharmacy staff handle it in a timely manner! Never do I wait more than 15 minutes for my scripts to be ready! So, to all the disgruntled WALGREEN'S customers--SWITCH PHARMACIES, FIND A RITE AIDE or any other pharmacy that treats ill people with compassion and competence!!! GOOD LUCK!!!
walgreens is the worst place and should be your last resort when especially when it comes to getting a prescription filled they keep you on hold and keep putting you on hold they are rude and nasty when they finally decide they must talk to you and each person gives you a different excuse for the huge delays. The excuses they come up with are rediculous one time they said they couldn't fill my prescription because they were out of pill bottles can you believe it oh and the list just goes on I HATE WALGREENS WITH A PASSION!!!
