I agree about the long lines in most walmarts. It is very disturbing CAROL. However, walmart is a business like any other. If they don't make profits expected, the first thing cut is usually payroll. When this happens it ruins the entire stores staffing plan. I know this is not ur problem, but it sure does affect u and other shoppers as well as stress out all workers. Not only do they have to work harder, but they receive smaller checks. Times are tough, and walmart needs their customers. I hope home office fixes the staffing problem and allowes the stores to provide the service necessay. Our customer service is what we are all about. At store level they try to staff as well as allowed, but so many times are not allowed to provide the necessary coverage. I am sorry for ur bad experiance, and hope that this problem gets fixed company wide so customers can receive proper service.
Walmart has always given then the customer a bang for their buck. They have even been accepting of people parking rv's and commercial vehicles. So, why is it that when I as a consumer and commercial trucker get treated as a second rate citizen when I am on the road and most places aren't truck friendly and walmart of all places used to be? I have also hauled your products to your warehouses and been treated like I couldn't possibly have the brains to do the job I am paid to do? The reason I would prefer to shop at walmart is the prices are half of what they charge in the truck stops. So as far as I am concerned, walmart can kiss my a**! from this point on, I will refuse to shop their, tell others about my experiences, and I will refuse to haul your freight. I will also encourage others to do so by writing a letter to the editor of a national newspaper encouraging others to boycott walmart until further notice.
Recent visit to the Tahlequah Walmart on 3/23/11. Very bad. I stood in line for 30 minutes. Several people were complaining about the customer service. On 4 cashiers working and each checkout had 3-4 people waiting in line. This was not a Saturday or a big sale day but just a day through the week around 12:30. Now I realize that this lunch time but with working women who might run in and grab a few things for dinner this would be a night mare. Several people around me had the very same ideal that this was crazy to have all these checkout areas but no one working them. This is the very reason that I stopped shopping in Walmart but went to the competition. It had been several months since shopping in Walmart and again am reminded why I stopped. If I have to pay a few pennies more for groceries then I will, because good customer service is always worth that. Walmart needs to realize that this is the main reason your stock value is dropping. You have lost good customer service. Your stocks will continue to drop until you realize this.
Recently I was approved for Medicaid after suffering a stroke, I tried to get the medicines paid for from the time I was disabled till recently From Walmart, They told me it was not possible, I showed them email messages I received from Medicaid, But they still refused. Medicaid called me. they had asked me the number to the pharmacy, It was all cleared up. Until I went to the second walmart pharmacy, on smith road. They also put up a fight until I demanded they call the commerce city walmart, Then it got cleared up. The reason I am writing this is for the 1000s or maybe millions of people they have turned down, Saying it was impossible. They are not compassionate with disabled people.
I wouldn't even give the Surprise Walmart Store # 2777 a star.... I went to Walmart to buy a wiper blade and get a Tint install kit in Automotive. I was in the store for 8 minutes locating the item, as I knew what I wanted and where it was. I have in the passed spent from 500.00 to 1000.00 a month at this Walmart. I went to check out at the AUTOMOTIVE register and placed my 2 items at the counter, while DRAKE in Automotive went from the register I was standing at to the tire register and answered a question about oil change prices. Then another customer comes up and asks about the Tires on his car.. I look up at the clock it say's 12:05, and I continue to stand at the counter awaiting service. Drake has asked for help, but everyone is at lunch, Still not even eye contact from this guy. At 12:22 P.M I am asked by a clerk if i needed help. Drake is still at the Counter and looks over at me, I said "Yes, I need to check out," Drake say's, Oh I thought you were waiting on a car! Well you could have asked! I replied... I have been standing here at check out for over 15 minutes... Hey Walmart.. check your eye in the Sky.... It's all on your security cameras.. And by the way, You just LOST every bit of my business. Pharmacy, Food, Clothes, Paint, etc.... Because your managers don't manage, and your employee's have no training. I am done shopping at your stores.... And will tell everyone I know about my experience at the Walmart in Surprise Arizona...
Dear Sirs: I walk with crutches for operation of meniscus, last Thursday I went to Walmart Dot Buenos Aires, Argentina. I took place in a line and I dont know it was a "Green cash box" which do not provide plastic bags. Just did the shopping but the claim for a bag told me that "are not authorized to give bags", while all the lines passing carts of boxes with hundreds of plastic bags. They treated me very badly, inflexible and ignored when the success of Walmart is serve customers with hospitality, why not indulge in plastic bags if you want to be "ecological" I will never again buy at walmart, really it´s s freaky procedure. One of Walmarts UNTRAINED employees felt it was a great idea to put a bucket of water on top of a plastic bag rack, that hangs over the meat section. The bucket of water fell on my 2 year old daughter. She was soaked.... When I asked a employee to tell me "what was exactly in the bucket", then to go find me a supervisor, he kept stocking food. (Go figure)... So after I said "EXCUSE ME, GO FIND SOMEBODY", then I guess he thought I was serious. After waiting for a while some douche bag of a assistant manager comes, with his dry a** apology. The whole situation would have been handled had he at least offered to give my daughter a blanket, or a change of clothes. It was 10 at night, and 13 degrees outside. We came in dry, willing to spend money. But left soaking wet, with nothing.... I was a regular shopper at Walmart in Auburn Hills, MI on Adams. I will NEVER shop there again.... I will be more than willing to shop at Meijer, at least they know how to treat customers. (Like human beings)..... K. Bowman
First I recieved a text from Wal-Mart giving me a Special Thanks for me and a $100.00 gift card (GiftID-88) with a #to call (855-843-5250).I then call this # and service person answered the phone and proceed to tell me that I had won this gift card among other gift coupons valued and such and such price. Asked me if that was fine and I said yes. Then she told me that all I needed to do was pay a $4.19 charge for shipping and handling.ahe asked if that would be fine and all I needed to do now was to let her now what the number was on the card I would be using...Debit or Credit. I asked her why I would have to pay for something I had won. It is for shipping and handling perposes. I then asked if I could pay by check because I wasn't comfortable giving out my credit card number. Anyway after going round and around with her I just said no I wasn't gong to do that and said good-bye. I think in the future the survey operators could be a little more patient with customer that had spent their time taking the survey for your company, grant it we are taking the chance of winning $100.00 gift card but it benifits Wal-Mart also. The operator was oriental and I had a hard time understanding her(she talked so fast)this could be some of my problem with the conversation. After getting off the phone I wondered if this was a legitament offer and if so I would gladly send the $4.00 for the gift card that was offerd
I recently shopped in the Walmart in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. This was the first time in several months that I had been there. The reasons for not shopping there were long lines when checking out and never able to find the same product twice. Yesterday I decided to look for a coffee pot and in doing so I picked up several items. When ready to check out, I stood in line for 30 minutes. This was no holiday or a busy Saturday but simply a day through the week. There were 6 cashiers working and each line was 4-5 people deep. Walmart wants to know why they are losing money each quarter. Customer service is very BAD. Will not shop at Walmart again.
I feel that if walmart make a mistake and put the wrong sale price on and item then is should be sold for what the customer saw it for and not what it rings up. That is false advertisement and so unfair to the coustomers. This happen to me with something that was marked for $16.24 and when I got to the registar it rung up $49.99. I feel like I should have been able to still purchased the item regardless because it was walmart fault not mine. So you need to make sure that your employees changed the price to the correct price and this want be a problem. Customers are always right in certain situation and I was in this one.....
Saw the high cost of low price...shame on your company. Not that a company like yours (bottom of the barrel) cares but I'm going to start weaning myself off you, start buying from local business owners, and spread the informed word about your greed and disgusting behavior. Oh, yes...also about how fraudulent and misleading your egotistical commercials are. Good bye, walmart
Ahhhhh! All of the idiots that have placed their meandering comments...here...Such little..., Selfish..., Uneducated..., Inbreeds! Lets face it, most of you don't know what an inbred is... Sad..., Truly sad. Wal Mart is a company that is here to make a profit! Plain and simple! If you are stupid enough to 'buy a poor product' you deserve what you get. They offer items at your 'Income level'. Have you not heard... "you get what you pay for?" Most of you are too stupid to know what the hell you are talking about... Or should I say... Ignorant? This is a lesson as too why you should stay in School! Educate yourself! Don't blame smart people for your STUPID IGNORANCE!!! SHOP ON SHOPPERS!!!
I am a single Disabled Mother. I accidentdly threw my drivers license out,so I went to my bank and got a copy. My daughter recieved two outfits from someone as a gift but they did not fit her. All I wanted to do was exchange them for a larger size. When I went to the store the woman asked me if I just wanted to go get the larger size and exchange, then come back. I told her I had some shopping to do also, she said "its ok". So when I had finished they asked me for my drivers license and I told she about throwing it out but showed her the copy from the bank, an expired license with my picture and name on it, my birth certificate my Social Security card, a sams club card with my pic on it, my MEDICARE card,my bank ATM card and my friggin RED CROSS BLOOD DONOR card all with my Name ( last name alone has 14 letters in it Its Italian) and they still said NO I CANT EXCHANGE for a bigger size because My License wasnt VAlid. SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!! Since I need all the clothes for my daughter and dog food ect, and because I am disabled and was already in enough pain. I told them that what I had in my cart was the last that I would ever buy at their store. I spent $134.00 that day . Let me know what you think looknatv9@aol.com
I am retired and live on a low income. To begin with, I paid for a eye exam along with frames and lens which totaled up to $442.20 at the local walmart store just down the road where I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Here recently the frame broke whitch is a single bar that connects the two lens together. When I took the glasses into the vision center the lady said that they had to order a frame to fit the lens size, where they could put my len into the new frame. After a week and a half I called and ask if my glasses were ready or had came in. She said that they never had a order for frames for my lens, so now my broken frame and lens or lost and can't be found. If I could just get my lens back, at less I could go somewhere else and get a frame and not be out the whole amount again. I hope others don,t have to go thought this
I ordered a TV on 3-13-11, it finally left a warehouse and arrived to IA where I live in 24 hrs, which is good, but then it sat and is still sitting in a warehouse in IA 100 miles to where I live, which has a walmart store, where the TV is suppose to be going.....it is still sitting in that warehouse now for 3 days!!!! That doesnt even make any sense!?? It is about 100 miles from the store it needs to go to for me to pick up and it is sitting??? I am very frustrated, and will never order anything from walmart ever again, and I am wondering if I will ever get the TV?? I could go get it myself and would have had it 3 days ago, if they would let me.....then I call the site to store place, and the lady couldnt even help me?? didnt even try to find out what is happening at all?? Walmart has my money, and I have NO tv?? its just sitting down the Hwy.....for what I havent a clue??? I have never been so upset, and NO one cares??? or checks it out for me?? they do nothing!!!!
On 1-04-2011, I purchased a turkey sub sandwich at the Wal-Mart in Addison, IL. I took it back to my office and ate half the sandwich and wrapped the other half in foil and put it in the refrigerator at work. Approx. 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. later, I started to get severe stomach cramps. I drove home and immediately went to bed because the stomach cramps had become more severe, to the point that I was considering going to the local hospital emergency room. In retrospect, I should have gone to the hospital. I spent the night of 1-04-2011 and the following morning curled up in bed with severe abdominal pains which began to subside late in the afternoon of 1-05-2011. I went back to work on 1-06-2011 and at lunch time, returned to the Wal-Mart with my receipt and the portion of the sandwich that I had left in the refrigerator. I first spoke with a Customer Service Rep. at the store and then an Asst. Store Manager named Lucas. I was never offered a refund but instead was given a "Customer Statement" form, which I filled out. I was told by Lucas that someone from CMI would be contacting me in 24 to 48 hours. Since I had not heard anything for over a week, I called the Wal-Mart store and spoke with Eric, the Wal-Mart Store Mgr. He said he would look into the customer statement and call me back. Kim, Eric's assistant called me back and said that someone from CMI would be calling me back on 1-17-2011. It wasn't until 1-20-2011 that Caitlan from CMI called me to discuss my claim. She asked me to describe the incident after which she said I would be receiving a letter. To this point, I was never told by anyone at Wal-Mart or at CMI that additional information might be needed in order to validate my customer statement. I received the letter dated 1-19-2011 from Caitland at CMI on 1-28-2011. From about 2-7-2011 to 3-8-2011 I left four voice messages for Caitland and two voice messages for her team leader, Rodney. None of my calls were returned. On 3-8-2011 I called CMI at around 1:15 PM and spoke with an operator and gave her my CMI file (claim) number. The operator forwarded my call to Vince, a Claims Manager. We discussed the incident. His assessment was that since I did not have any proof from a doctor that my illness was caused by the sandwich I purchased at Wal-Mart there was nothing CMI could do. I was frustrated because I was never told by anyone at Wal-Mart or CMI that any further information was needed to validate my customer statement until my conversation with Vince. Through all of this, I was never even offered a refund for my sandwich. I still have the un-eaten half of the sandwich in the frig at work. Anyone want it?
The store in Central, South Carolina has got to be one of the worst. When it first opened, I thought it was a great place to shop. Recently they have been out of stock on many items, They've had dirty floors (I guess the employees have just decided not to clean up spills). I've had VERY, VERY rude customer service and to top it all off, yesterday I bought some MOLDED FRUIT. When I got home and opened the container, my raspberries were covered in mold. When is the last time the produce department cleaned their shelves? Not to mention the fact that I did not purchase a bell pepper simply because they were all mushy. Sadly, this isn't the first time I have had to deal with purchasing expired items. I've had the same luck in their dairy department.
i gat a oil change and they did not close my hood rite and when i left if thew up and mest up my hood the manager said it was allredy messed up when i came in he said he viewed a tape that i could not see the tape and to bad for my what can a guy do?
I work for walmart..have for a few years. I got my head BIT off by yet another pissed off customer. It doesn't matter what the complaint was, that's not the point. I want to know what compells someone to be so rude to a complete stranger? This doesn't just happen at walmart, ithappens everywhere. Customers forget how to treat PEOPLE who are working and then get a bug up there butt when the worker defends themself. DUH!! Be nice
I am really upset about a comment posted from the customer DEANNA on 3/22. She should have received an even exchange! I know the policy and they can use ur ss#. I have had to do this before to help customers. This is how we lose customers, by not taking care of them! Hello workers, stop trying to police everything and take care of ur business. That store needs to read the f.e. guide. It should be@ every stores service desk. Walmart does try to prevent fradulant returns, but too often the s.d. associates get on a power trip and love to say no! OMG! To deanna, I am sorry that you were trwated that way and were not helped to the standards set forth by the company. If u call 1800 walmart, they will direct urr problem to the store manager and maybe they can take care of you. we are not in the business to lose business.
