Good Afternoon. My name is Linda Lane. I wrote to your corporate office about a week ago with a complaint about our store in Pampa, TX. A few minutes ago our store manager, Josh Hess, called me personally to address the problems with his store. Josh is a very professional and considerate man, and I truly appreciate that he took the time to visit with me personally. We had a very good discussion and understanding about the problems that I had mentioned, and those problems have been addressed and resolved. My own son is a store manager for the Wal-Mart corporation, so I understand the challenges they face every day to keep things running smoothly. It can be a daunting challenge, and it's good to know that you have excellent managers, such as Josh, willing to take that on each day. I urge your corporate offices to hear what your managers are trying to tell you about their individual stores. You know, since Mr. Walton passed away, Wal-Mart has been failing as a corporation. Of course, that's my personal opinion...and I tend to be very opinionated...but hear me out. It is extremely unrealistic to expect the same style of store to work successfully from one region to the next. You know, Wal-Mart has been getting negative feed-back for quite some time. I hope that you are paying attention now? Just because you may be making more money does not make you successful as a whole.... You have been losing loyalty for a long time because you refuse to pay attention to the symtoms of real failure. Our Pampa store fazed out the fabric department. That was a hard blow to our small community, but you again fail to heed to the needs of locals. It appears that all Wal-Mart is concerned with is big numbers on the board in your conference rooms, not the needs of your customers. I admire men like Josh Hess and my son. In spite of the unreasonable demands of your corporation, they continue to give their best and do all that they can personally to satisfy the customer. That is what America is all about. And men like Mr. Hess are the only reason there is still such a thing as Wal-Mart. You are lucky to have them. Linda Lane
Yesterday we were having a very bad day! It was our 11 year old dogs birthday and she is dying. So needless to say we have been very sad about it. We decided to go get her a last birthday cake. We went into the American Fork store in Utah. When we told Rosa at their bakery department she made a yellow princess cake for our yellow lab. Rosa just made our day! Walmart should be so proud of her. Our dogs are a very important part of our family and we are so glad that Rosa also felt the same way. Way to go Rosa you are awesome! TYVM The McKennas
walmart in union new jersey is so nasty and your store manager is rude and nasty to his worker most of them you domething with tears on their eyes and that is saYud
I just got off the phone with our local walmart in Newark ,NY. My husband and i stood in cashier/ line for 15 minutes.there were 17/18 people in our line alone.. we were #6 in line. and there was only 1 other cashier /line open and they were just as busy as the one we were in.. My husband went to a cashier to see if she could call some one and she just blew him off. he finally went to the DOOR GREETER and ask if there was some one that could call a manager for him as they NEEDED TO OPEN ANOTHER CASHIER. He was very helpful and finally a 3rd cashier showed up. We actually saw a man throw his item on the floor -swearing and left the store in a huff..There was no one at the 10 orr under items line.. MOst of the persons waiting in line has 1-4 items.. We had a cart full and let several elderly/handicapped persons go in front of us. You need to address this as i know from the way a couple people were talking they weren't coming back to the store. I for one will be coming back but your cashiers/lines need to have a little more help .. Not 15/17 persons standing around waiting for another register to open. The manager assured me the problem will be taken care ofand more cashiers will be available to the customers from now on..Thank you
Listen up all you smokers because I use to be one myself. You do not realize how good you can smell things, until you quit. Therefore, Walmart continues to leave their smoke stands right beside the doors and everyone that smokes stands near to put the cigarette butts in them after smoking. But on the other hand, the employees have to go far away from the building to light-up. The smoke stands smell very bad and all of us have to smell this stinch entering and exiting Walmart. Could you not come up with a better idea, instead of the smoke stands that you throw cigarette butts in? Possibly, go back to the old way of using sand in a concrete container that nobody could walk off with, and put it far enough away from the doors that nobody has to smell the stinch? To clean these out is farely easy and all you would need is a cat litter pooper scooper! NO SMELL!

Hey dummies, all your whining here does no good except to make you feel like you've actually done something constructive. Don't post your phone numbers or full email addresses. And above all, stay out of Walmart. Chopped olives? No scooter parking? Give me a f---ing break.
Went to Walmart closest to my home looking for a particualr product. The store was out of stock. The clerk scanned to bar code of the item from the shelf and contacted another local store and informed me they had a large inventory. Drove to the second store to learn that they had been out of the item for several days. This store also scanned the bar code and called a third location and was told there were 18 boxes on the shelf. Twenty minutes later at that store there was another out of stock situation. That store manager assured my that he had a truck coming in with more of that particular item and he would call me when it arrived. At 6:30 in the evening the store manager called to tell me that my item had arrived and that I could come and pick it up. Upon arrival at the store, guess what, there was no inventory again and the store manager admitted to a mistake. There are not too many options to consider. Either the personnel at Walmart are complete incompetant idiots, the employees are compulsive liars and will tell you anything to avoid helping, or, Walmart employees just don't give a hoot. Just wish there was a rating lower than one star.
The store in Pampa, TX is a mess. There are temporary shelves lined up in the ailes full of junk. Nothing looks organized or neat. Every time I enter that store, there are empty spaces with missing stock. Merchandise is jumbled and tangled up one thing with another, and items are in the floor being kicked about. It's hard to find anyone to help, and the employees are generally unfriendly and act "put out" when I ask for assistance. I even got the "brush-off" from a member of management today and never did find what I asked her to help me locate. That store is a nightmare. I HATE IT !! The store in Borger is neat and the emplyees are always friendly.
Follow up: It is now 148 AM. I had to drive 45 miles to purchase the product I needed. The South Okc "Super store" at I 240 and Western in Okla. City, NEVER ANSWERED THEIR PHONE. I guess they were TOO busy to!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I shouldn't be surprised. It is the SOUTH SIDE of Oklahoma city. They were probably standing in line to purchase their social security cards from Jose!
I love to shop at the Kinston store those girls in there knows how to treat you when your're checking out they take you to the shortest line and always smiling.
I just consumed hillshire farm beef lit'l smokies from your store #2953 in Swansea, Massachusetts. After I ate these sausages I happened to look at the expiration date on the package - THIS PRODUCT EXPIRED 6 WEEKS AGO - YOU HAVE PUT ME AT RISK FOR FOOD POSIONING. Please contact this store and pull any of this product immediately. I AM NOT HAPPY YOU HAVE EXPOSED ME TO THIS RISK AND FOR YOUR LACK OF ATTENTION TO FOOD EXPIRATION DATES I trust Walmart to look out for my best interests when I am in your stores. You WALMART have failed to protect the consumer. I will check every expiration date from this date forward because I can't trust WALMART The walmart receipt # is tc# 1613 0042 2203 0192 0134

To whom it may concern. I am writing this review 4-7-11 at 1153pm (Oklahoma time). I have called your "Super Center" at I-240 and have allowed the phone to ring TWICE for nearly 10 minutes each time. The first time the phone rang until someone picked the phone up and hung up. I have now been on the phone AGAIN for quite some time and AGAIN the phone is continuing to ring. (it is now 11:58 pm and the phone was AGAIN hung up) I reside in Del City. I called your Super Center in Edmond, Oklahoma (over 20 miles away) and THEY were open and ANSWERED the phone and were very help ful. It is a shame your other stores are not as courteous. Another "Super Center" store I called I asked for electronics and was told by the person answering he was electronics but to call back later they were on break.
I would like to share my very personal opinion about your store located at the corner of North Avenue and Kostner Street in Chicago city. Lately I found stupid, really stupid article about future plans of Wal-Mart corporation.Briefly saying, your company invest tons of money for a new store. What a sad story.Somwhere, not to long ago I read one of a principles of a very reputable business....a customer is a reason for my business.... But not for Wal-Mart,,,,not for Wal-Mart,,,,,not for Wal-Mart !!!!! How come in this store in Chicago nobody cares for a simple shopping cart. On Saturday was very crowdy, and I could not find one shopping cart. When I found it,one of the little wheels had been broken.Shame on you !!! You invest millions, but who is going to fix some of the shopping carts I think ,that the manager of this store should do it.Everyone of us,I meant man is somehow a handy man.You do not care for the customer anymore. At the present tiome customer cares for you,and your investment and your stinky money. Why do you do it ? Why do you do it ? When I talked to the manager of this store,he ridculed me.Here what he said, why do you complain about one broken cart? We have bigger problems than this. Shame on you !!!!
I'm a recently fired Walmart worker who busted their behind for that store, only too be fired unjustly. Walmart needs to change their slogan, where they say the associates run walmart, because that is a load of crap. It may be true at other walmart's. Not at this store, the co-managers and the assistant managers all have very nasty attitudes and they all need too be retrained on how to interact with their employees. They don't talk too the employees, they talk at them. There is a big difference. The Open Door Policy yeah well thats another joke. That policy only works when everyone is on the same page. All they care about is making them look good. I used too work on the third shift, and if it wasn't for third shift busting their behinds in that store every single night, those same store managers and co- managers and lastly assistant managers wouldn't be getting these nice salaries and bonuses, cause they wouldn't have a job. They have fired so many people on the shift that is keeping their butts in a job. Then they make the rest of the people that they do have double-up on their workload every night, and expect them not too burn-out. I have seen so many tv's walk out of that store that it ain't even funny no more. And I'm not talking about cheap tv's neither. From 40 inches to 55 inches. All this happened with just one assistant-manager on duty. Everytime a tv was stolen from that store the same assistant-manager was on duty, and they still have their job. Then they make the employees paid for it when they fall short. How do they get their money back from us is by always coming up with excuses when it come s time for that so-called bonus, why we never get the full amount. What they do is instead of going by each shift, as far as how they deal with customer and associates getting hurt in the store. They lump the whole thing together, so if one customer or associated gets hurts you can pretty much kiss that bonus good-bye. What they need too do is something like they do on undercover boss. You would be surprised how much work they do on third shift and how management treats them. Then they wonder why the moral in that store is so low and why now don't no one wants too work for them. It's kind of hard trying too go too work every night worried about your job being on the line. That is too much stress too have to work under. They watch the workers harder than they do the customers, and the customers are robbing that store blind. Thinking about getting a lawyer and see if I can file a lawsuit against Walmart for unlawful termination. Store#3802 ha!! what a big joke they are.
I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER shop at Walmart in my life AGAIN!!!!!! Some loser that has NOTHING better to do in their life uses my card at the Superstore in Tampa Florida and Store # 2214 in Columbia South Carolina wiped my account clean of over $1,000.00. Buying gift cards 2 for $200 in tampa on 12/2/10 and 6 $100 gift cards at Walmart 2214 in Columbia South Carolina.....What kind of idiot does 6 transactions of $100.00 gift card seprately and doesn't think that is suspecious????? Walmart better get it right...I want my money back and the jobs of the 2 idiots that didn't ask for ID when they used my card to purchase GC....SHAME SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!
There are 3 Walmart's in this city that i live in. The Walmart on one side of town charges more money for the exact same items than the other 2 stores. Not only that but they do not keep the shelves stocked.
I hate my job at Walmart. Wish I could afford to quit. People yell at me n r down right nasty and I can defend myself. And I don't .mean the shoppers, its my coworkers that I thought had my back and were trying to help. They all just look out for themselves and don't care who gets hurt n the process.I can't stand getting my head bit off everyday! This sucks.I hate Wal-Mart.
