We bought two futon beds from wal-mart. Everything was fine, then one bed turned out to be infested with bed bugs, we then checked the other bed & it was fine. Now just recently the bed bugs in the second bed came out. The one bed was able to be retured because it was in the 90 days, but the other bed they wont take back because its over the 90 day return. BUT IT ALSO HAS BED BUGS!! & IT'S NOT MY FAULT THAT THEY SHIPPED US BEDS WITH BUGS!! & who knows what else they ship out that may have BUGS! BEWARE OF ONLINE ORDERING OF FURNITURE!! THERE MAY BE BUGS!!!
my name is beto martinez, i been an employee for walmart for about 3 years now. is been actually very good job for a while, associates helping each other and helping people. even when i dont need help. i always been a hard worker and prefer to solven my job on my own. do as much as i can an as fast as i can. having many jobs harder than this it is a really good job. but now we got a new store manager, that cut almost half of our people, they were fired or quit. to be honest i have never seen the store as bad as it is today. i am in the produce department where we had 6 people working and we only have 2 and sometimes another associate that works frozen and help us too. i am feeling very angry at our new store manager i am feeling very stress and overwhelmed for all the work that i have to do and then go to another department to help too. what i am asking is for an inspection of the store, but surprised inspection not one of your stupid inspections that tell in advance that you are coming to an inspection. i have never seen all our people that tired, frustrated and extressed all this time i been here. our store number is 2494 our adress is 2100 vista way oceanside ca. i hope you do something about it and not just send her to another store where she is going to do the same. please ask any of the associated if they are happy with her performance as store manager. please be fear to everybody dont you have rules for regular associates? you should have them too for store managers thank you and i hope you do something
I would give the fairbanks alaksa zero stars if possible. They have an OVER POWERING BITCH that works there that uses her power in all the wrong ways and you cant talk to any of the other management about about because they'll tell her and she'll coach you or threaten to fire you. Now because of her the store is upside down. half the time no body knows what their doing because once on manager says something to associate she goes back tells them to do something else and then when you confront the other manager with her there they say they never said that. She treats customers like shit. She told me to get out of the store just for asking her about the way she treated her employees. SO if the store manager doesn't say anything to by tomorrow I go in and start a scene. I've spent 2 years at this store as a custom surveyor and I'm tired of watching grown men kill themselves for some women on a high horse. Corporate will be in the store tomorrow and they WILL be getting a visit from me with this women.

In Winnsboro Louisiana our Wal Mart is known for associates having affairs with other associates . For example my daughter in law has been marries to my son for 8 years and got the last 6 months has been having an affair with a new male associate . This happens a lot at this store . I am so upset that everyone at the store knows about it but she still has a job as does the guy she is cheating with . I will be calling the home office today Wal Mart is supposed to be a family store . I've told my son being he is disabled to get a lawyer and sue the both of them his wife and Wal Mart . So many marriages have been torn apart in this store . She doesn't even care for their two children whom she has abandon .
On hold with my West Palm Beach Walmart now and it has been 12 minutes on hold waiting for a manager! No one even comes back to the phone to say anything! Second time calling! Poooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooor customer service! I hate walmart! Bought my daughter a bike for her fifth birthday and the wheels fell off! They will not exchange it for a new one! WTF!?!?!?!?
Yes I am writing about the store at Victory Blvd. Yorktown va. I know your attitude is forget you, but I will still explain. Ever since the store opened the shelves are never stocked like they should be, always out of things, with the same comment when questioned " Truck due in tonight". It dosen't take too many brain cells to figure out if things keep running out, is place more of an order or an on time order. The bathrooms are usually dirty, workers standing around talking or too busy begging for some chairty instead of working.Your management sucks, and cashiers move at the pace of a snail. Everytime I go there you seem to be out of what I go for,so I have decided to pay a little more and buy american, your out of country products suck too! I know it's not just me because I hear people complaining of the same things, but I really know you could care less. You know when your at the top of the heap, you become comfortable.
I am writing to complain about the state of the car park at store in Monifieth, scotland. The parkung area is a complete mess with potholes all over and they are damaging cars. Further, the white lines painted to signify disabled and child spaced are almost non existant because thet have not been painted for so long. Poeple are parking in these spaces because they are not made significant enough and are denying disabled people and people with children to park. Even when non diabled park in the spaces, no-one from staff ever bothers to tell them that it is for disabled only. The whole car park requires refurbishing and the disables and childrens parking areas and signs need to be made far more obvious. I trust something can be done about theses problems A>S>A>P.
I enjoy your t.v, ads with the children keep them coming.

I have recently had problems with a damaged chair from a patio set I ordered online, after almost two weeks I finally got my problem resolved, however, I had a horrible experience at the Walmart store in Merritt Island, Florida. I contacted the customer service people and they had the manger of the store contact me, she left a message that she called regarding my complaint but it took over a week to contact her. My issue was that I had bought several pairs of shorts that I did not try on a t the store because I was too tired, I suffer from chronic back back pain even after having three surgeries, so it is very hard to shop as I rarely feel well enough to shop anymore. When I tried to exchange the items this is what happened. I arrived at the store approximately 10:45 p.m. I stood at the store while an elderely man placed stickers on every item in the bag (that took forever!), I went to the customer service area and stood there for several minutes before I was helped, the help was awful, I was told by a very unkempt woman that I could not exchange or return any items after 11:00 p.m., I looked at my watch and it was about 2 minutes after 11:00. I asked to speak to a manager and this woman told me she was the customer service manager and she was bot going to exchange or refund anything for me! She was very abrasive, to say the least. There was a gentleman who looked like he should have been a manger and when I asked him for help he seemed to be very intimidated by this manager and said he could not help me and then walked away. I said fine I will return them another time. I was very offended by the rudeness, but decided that I would go to the apparel area and but what I needed, I picked out about 6 pairs of shorts, some shirts and other small clothing items, as I was moving around the store I noticed that this customer service manager was following me, I tested the situation by going to areas where I did not need things from, every where I went she was around the corner. This was the strangest thing I had ever experienced, I was actually being stalked by this woman! I needed severa;l items and just continued to shop, at one point a very nice employee asked me if I was finding everythiong OK, I then spoke with her about the exchange refusal from the CS manager, she told me that Denise, the CS manager, was having a very bad day and everyone is just trying to stay out of her way, but if I went to register 18 they would exchange the items for me. I thought YEA! I had turned my cart around to go back to the patio and garden center and "Denise" was around the corner, AGAIN! I eventually went to register 18 and there was a womnaan who had just gotten in front of me with a very large cart of items, so I decide to go to the register while the clerk was ringing in her items, when I returned from the restroom I found that the clerk from regsiter 18 was now moved to register 17, so I grabbed my cart and also moved aover, as I looked back qa customer pulled into lane 18 and Denise was ringin him in, at the same glance she was giving me a very mean facial look, when I finally began putting my items on the conveyor belt I told the clerk about what the other employee told m,e about my6 exchange, in a very intimidated tone she told me that she was told that she was not allowed to exchange ANYTHING FOR ME! I loudly sa8id "WHAT?" at that time Denise appeared and again nastily reminded me that she was not going to exchange anythingf for me! I was in shock that she, as a manager, was this rude, I said fine, again and finished placing my items on the belt I then told the clerk to stop ringing my items up because I wanted to see Denise put all of my stuff back on the shelf!!! I had over 2 hundred dollars worth of merchandise, but I chose to not purchaser anything from this store!! I contacted the corporate office and they had the manager from the store contact me, and she left as message but it took over a week to finally get her on the phone, and all I was told was that she will investigate the situation and she was sorry. "I am sorry" is not good enough, I am still stuck with a bag of clothing that I cannot wear, and the statement "I will investigate" is bull! It does nothing for my anguish and the mistreatment that I suffered! I beleive that if Walmart really cared about their cusatomers then they should at least offer a gift card that would ease the customer and stimulate them to continue to shop with them. I will not ever shop at walmart again, there is Target, BJ's, Publix, Aldi's, TJ Maxx, several dollar stores, and an entire Mall that can supply my every need! Thanks , but no thanks Walmart of Merritt Island!!!!!!
I am very disappointed in Walmart. My family and I were always big Walmart fans until a few months ago. I registered there for my baby shower and everyone had a problem or either couldntg pull up my registry. I live in Phila. But work down the shore and even my friends there were not able to pull in up. Do to this noone bought my bigger items because they didn't want to put out the money if someone else already did. I ended up receiving all clothes and 3-5 pairs of the same thing. I tried to exchange the items and because I didn't have the reciepts they gave me a hard time. Some items I counldnt even return because it was over $50.00. The customer service was rude, and pretty much called me a lair. The store is horrible and do to this I wil not shop there anymore. I also informed my sister who is having a baby and wanted to register there all the problems I had. She will now not shop there either.
The Walmart on Garden Rd. in Burlington, NC is a great store but the bakery is AMAZING!! I really feel they don't get all the credit they deserve. I buy all of my cakes for every occasion from this Walmart and have been more than satisfied. The associates are never rude or impatient. They are most helpful and understanding when I ask for something complicated or time limited. This past weekend 06/11/2011 I had the bakery make a cake for my youngest daughter's graduation party. It was a design I had come up with and they executed it perfectly! It meant so much to me and my family because the design reflected the long road my child had being pregnant her senior year. I hope this will let them know I truly appreciate great customer service and feel they should be greatly rewarded for all their hard work. They deserve 5 stars!!!!
June 13, 2011 To who might actually care: I have been a loyal Walmart/Sams customer for too many years to count. Working only minutes from the Valdosta, Georgia Norman Drive Store I have always found Walmart convenient and a one place shop. I have stayed loyal through many changes and updates with the store. I have at times been frustrated with my shopping experience but not to the point that I am now. After working Saturday 6/11/11, I stopped by Walmart to pick up some Ziploc brand freezer bags that my husband needed to finish putting up vegetables. Very tired but as always I shopped at Walmart and had more items than just Ziploc bags in my cart. This always happens at Walmart, I see many things I want or need then what I had on my list when I entered the store. As with it being Saturday and a busy day in Valdosta Walmart was busy and only a few registers with actual attendants were open. I had more items than I normally would go through the self check out with but I thought it should be fine, I didn’t have anything to difficult to scan. Well think again, I do my best to scan and then sometimes the items don’t weigh enough and the machine doesn’t think you bagged the item. Ok I can work with that. Then I scanned a large canning pot, it was too big to fit in the bags with the trigger underneath, so I set it on the area provided. Computer didn’t like that I guess, so I moved it back to the buggy, but keep in mine I had scanned it. Then I scanned a fillet knife, and of course machine didn’t think I looked old enough so associate had to come over and fix this, she didn’t even ask me how old I was, guess she could tell just by looking at me, this wasn’t the first time she had been over to my self check out computer, it was constantly needing attention sort of like a puppy I guess. Anyway I continued to scan all items in my buggy with machine alternately wanting more attention. Each time I did what it asked of me or the associate came over and adjusted its way of thinking, who knows. After scanning all of my items the lovely attention needing computer scanner was not happy and thought that I still had items in my buggy that needed to be scanned. Associate was unable at this time to satisfy the computer so she called over backup (higher associate I guess). This higher up couldn’t figure it out on my computer so she moved me and buggy up to the associate station. She then looked at the receipt and said that I must have something in my buggy that I had not scanned. I assured her that I had scanned everything. She then asked for my ID, I handed it to her and she checked something on the computer, I guess checking to see if I was legit, who knows. She then handed me back my id and kept saying I must have something in my buggy that I did not scan. I repeatedly told her I did not. I looked at the receipt on the screen of her computer to look at the items listed to mentally check everything and especially the larger item that I had scanned and then put back into buggy. This higher associate did not offer to look in each bag to check if the items were on the receipt list on her computer. She didn’t offer to check anything against the buggy items and what was on the register; she just kept repeating that I must have not scanned something. By this point yep I’m very aggravated. Not only do I feel like I did something wrong but I resent her even needing to look at my ID when I have not even got to the point of being able to pay yet. I at this point decided enough was enough; I didn’t need the items that bad. I told the higher associate (assistant, csm, or helper) that she could keep the items and check them off at her leisure. I left the store leaving $100 dollars worth of merchandise behind. I resent being treated like this, I resent having to show ID for any reason when I have been behind someone paying for merchandise with a Food Stamp card and they are not asked for identification. I have seen this myself plenty of times and never has the person using a food stamp card been asked to provide identification. I have been asked for my ID for writing a check, using a Debit Card, and for this visit on June 11th, for whatever reason I don’t know. I think Walmart has some issues that need to be addressed, but I seriously doubt anything will come of this letter. What is the need to build stores with so many registers if you are only going to open a couple and then the customers are expected to check themselves out? Shouldn’t we self checkers get some kind of discount, and do we deserve to be treated like we have done something wrong? Shouldn’t ID be checked for all methods of payment, its popular knowledge that people sell money off of their food stamp card for cash? All the person using the card needs is the pin number. Maybe I should quit my job and apply for a food stamp card; I would probably get in and out of Walmart easier. Imagine that. I’m very disappointed in Walmart and how I was treated on June 11th approximately 5 or 5:30 p.m. The items in my buggy were nothing exciting either, some of the items were, a canning pot, canning jars, cake mix, tank tops, shorts, sprinkles for icing cake, cupcake wraps, pizza, and a few more items, oh and lets not forget the Ziplocs that was the whole reason I even dropped by Walmart. As a final thought, all of the items can be purchased elsewhere. I did stop on the way home and picked up the Ziplocs that I had needed. I guess I have been led to believe that Walmart is the only place to shop but I think it’s time to reconsider my shopping experience from now on. I hope this letter is taken seriously because I was definitely disappointed in the customer service of Walmart.
Walmart is planning to build a store at the site of a former garden center. (Hwy. 65 and South of 117th Ave. in Blaine, MN) The land is absolutely beautiful, filled with huge trees of many varieties, plants and flowers galore, and this land also provides a home for a big variety of birds and other small animals. It saddens me to think that of all the sights that Walmart could choose to build, they have their sights on this particular park like piece of property. There are many open parcels of land in this area that Walmart could opt to build on, land that is already open, not containing the volume of trees that this former garden center contains. Walmart, do the right thing and select a new site to build. Why not make it this site a park, wouldn't that be a refreshing change for Walmart? It might even help to improve the negative image created by Walmart.
After reading thru all the bad reviews above, it seems like a waste of time to even bother adding mine. Obviously, your company - the world's largest - has more than enough customers for you to bother addressing problems of individuals. What do you think Sam Walton would think about your business practices today? I have 2 major complaints. Because of a back injury, I now have to use the motorized carts you provide. Unfortunately, they don't work very well and many are in poor condition. My first experience left me with a dead cart in the middle of the food section. It began beeping loudly when I got off and there was no way to shut it off. If the idea is that an employee is supposed to respond to the sound and bring another cart to replace the dead one, you need to let your employees in on that. I had to walk to the front of the store, find an employee (very hard to do these days) in the produce section who eventually got me another cart. The reason I use these carts is because I can only walk short distances without extreme pain. Having to hunt for an employee and then walk back to the dead cart, just about did me in. Considering the amount of your profits, it seems like to me that you should provide better, more reliable carts and make sure you have fully charged ones at all times. The instructions for operating them should be stated clearly, as well as the level of charge. If a cart is damaged (like a ripped seat) or running poorly, they should be replaced. The one I used today jerked the entire time I used it. Not only is that dangerous, it's very hard on the person trying to control it. They should be redesigned with the seats adjustable. They should have an additional basket behind the seat for extra merchandise or a woman's purse. They should also be cleaned often. Today I bought $240 worth of mdse. but could hardly make it to my car. Instead of paying a "greeter" to tell me to enjoy my shopping, how about making changes so I actually MIGHT enjoy my shopping. My other complaint is that you are dropping good brands to make room for more Wal-Mart products. The selection seems to decrease every time I shop. You invariably drop some of my favorite items to make room for more Great Value or Sam's Choice. If these two problems are not addressed, I will be forced to shop elsewhere. It will cost me more, but, perhaps the lowered aggravation level will make it worth it. Wal-Mart used to be an enjoyable place to shop, and you could usually find a helpful employee when you needed one. Products rarely disappeared from the shelves. And, if you needed carryout help, it didn't take 15 minutes to get someone. I live in Sikeston, Mo. These are the conditions in my local Wal-Mart. It would be nice to think that SOMEONE in Wal-Mart's hierarchy actually gives a rip about their customers.
I live in Russellville Arkansas and there are 2 Wal-Mart stores in our area. One is not too bad (Dardanelle) but the other (Russellville) is full of rude management and employees who haven't been given the chance to learn about the products they sell. Wal-Mart "price match guarantee"? why don't they match the prices they have posted on the shelves before promising to match what competitors have posted in the paper? AND 1 out of every 4 times I go in there, I am double charged for one or more items. I'm usually in a hurry, so I don't always catch it until I'm at home and it's too late. Walmart doesn't care about it's employees or even the environment so why should it care about those shopping? They are basically the "only game in town" here, so I have little choice when I shop. Walmart used to be a decent place to shop with wonderful, friendly employees. Now it's just a "screw people out of their money as quickly as possible" place. Oh - and if you need glasses in Russellville - don't go to Walmart. Mine didn't fit me when I got them ("Oh, it will take awhile to get used to them") I finally had to go to another doctor who told me the distance vision was too strong and the bi-focals were too weak. Pay a little more and get the right fit.
After a near hospital visit this morning, I noticed the apple juice (no sugar added)I purchased from Walmart is made up of concentrates from China and Argentina, where food is not inspected like we think it is here in the U.S. Are all you people nuts??
