Would like to say, I've worked at Wal-mart over a year now and have tried moving up in the company. I have done everything right in the system as far as the managers have told me to do. Well, every time a position comes available I am ALWAYS looked over, same as with my husband. The managers do not want my husband and I (and a few other people) to move up in the company or move us to days (because we just had a newborn and have asked many of times to go on days) because we are to good of stockers. The issue is becoming ridiculous. The managers ask other employees if they would like to go to days but yet give us round about answers telling us there is no position for us on days. Another thing is the full-time/part-time deal. I have been part-time the entire time I have worked at Wal-mart but yet working full-time hours. I finally asked a manager to put me as full time in the system so I can have the benefits and do you think they have done anything? NO! I would really like to move up in the company and continue my career with Wal-mart but it seems as though it is impossible unless you are "friends" with the managers.

Walmart in Hendersonville NC. I recently purchased a new Jeep. Soon after I purchased it, I took it to Walmart to have my oil changed. This took place a little over a month ago on 6/6/11.On my drive home from work on Friday 7/15/11, I noticed a knocking sound in the engine. I pulled over and popped the hood. I just happened to pull the oil dipstick out and it was bone dry! My car does not leak any oil and I had it towed to a mechanic to verify that it has no oil leaks. He also verified that the oil filter was on and that the plug for the drain pan was still intact. Now riddle me this.....if I have no oil leaks and I had my oil changed a month ago.........how can I be out of oil? Either The Oil Fairies drained it from my engine while I was sleeaping, or Walmart failed to put the proper amount of oil in my car.I then called the store manager and explained my story to him. He advised that he would turn the claim over to Walmart loss prevention and let them investigate.He stated that they would review the video tape of my oil change. Apparently Walmart has had issues with this in the past....thus the video recording. So this loss prevention idiot calls me back and...........wait for it......they have recorded over my oil change....how convienant for Walmart. He then proceeds to tell me that the burden of proof is on me to show negligence on the part of the mechanic at Walmart. Meanwhile, I am without a car, can't get to work and have to pay 5000$ for a new engine. THANKS WALMART! I will be notifying all local media, including, but not limited to, TV news, newspapers, Facebook, YouTube (I have video) and the Better Business Bureau.

Iwent to the walmart in Ashland KY located on Rt.60 on Sunday 7/17/11 to the Electronics dept.there I was greated with a smile " welcome to walmart what can i help you with today"? The young man who greated me was Austin Robinson.This young man worked with me and a straight talk [3] service center workers for over 2 hrs.This young man remained smileing and extremely curtious to me and the people at straight talk [although they dont know how to do their jobs]the whole time i was there.My problem didnt get solved and it was not from the lack of him trying,I am very glad to say that he went above and beyond for me- the customer.I am sure this young mans Mother must be very proud of him,he took what could have been a very bad day for me and turned it into a not so bad experiance. As i walked away i had a smile on on my face because of 1 young man who had more class in one little finger than any other associate i have ever met.He deserves a pat on the back or some sort of thank you from your company.I say thank you again young man keep up the good attitude and service. My son was unjustly fired at his store in Boonville, IN store #566 (he has worked there over 6 years) doing everything from stocking on 3rd shift to overnight support manager, dept manager, and lastly support manager in TLE, they gave him an unjust writeup, which gave him his "D" day, then some 7 mos later used an unjust reason to fire him! He has always went out of his way to work when they needed the coverage, working 9 straight days without a day off! This is a plea to people out there to help get my son JESSE VERTREES his job back!! Very disappointed with the cashier at the Wal-Mart in Rock Springs WY. The cashier picked up my package of popcycles and slammed them on the counter for no reason before she even started to check out my groceries. She continued to through all of my groceries into the bags as she checked me out. Some of my groceries consisted of apples, tomatoes, bananas, which I'm sure will be bruised in a couple of days. Once I got home to unload my groceries my bag of popcycles was torn open. My income does not allow me to shop at other stores. I'm really upset by the treatment I received from the cashier at Wal-Mart. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Hate the Walmart in Greensburg Indiana. To many people working there that are rude to shoppers. Used Togo shopping in early morning to beat the crowd. Now won't go ever again. Have seen store managers yell at other managers in front of customers! Poor girl just stood there and cried while her store manager yelled and told her mean things. No wonder customers get treated bad, look at how manager's treat there lower managers so who is gonna care about we get treated? Not the first time I saw thiseither.

You do bring low prices to the shelves, but PLEASE buy in America. If you have to create your own products right here in the good old USA do so to help save our country. All your doing is making China richer, and the US poorer. The Waltons were a good old American family, I remember watching the show. They would not have wanted this for America. Save our country Wal-Mart if anyone can it would be you because of how big you are.

My husband slipped and fell in Walmart on June 18, 2011 with 2 Walmart employees standing there watching, he hurt both knees which started swelling right away and he hurt his elbow and twisted his back while falling on grapes in the store. The supervisor allowed him to fill out a claim and she got a statement from him and another customer in the store that witness the whole event. She told him she would call him on that Monday with a claim number which she didn't it took a whole week of us calling the local Walmart to get the claim number, although I had to take him through emergency the day of the accident, he had a lot of bruising and still today his knees are giving him trouble he is unable to work and he needs therapy or something but Walmart will not even talk to him to give him any information on where he may go to the doctor and Walmart be responsible for the bill, because his Medicaid will not pay for an injury caused by someone else, can anyone help with any type of information on a case like this, he really need more medical treatment please contact me at mjbbq@live.com

Question I purchase a item for walmart. The item was missing from the package, I went to two stores and they refused to do anything.. Riverhead, NY I call the company that made the produce and they said it was Walmart problem to handle the situation. I went into another store for the product I had purchased and was arrested. I am begging for the store to drop the charges since I did in dead purchase the item. They refuse with do I do.. I will lose my nursing licence for bying a item that was not in the box and walmart could care less. Please help get walmart to drop the charges? Please I will do anything rather that go before a judges. I HAVE THE PAID FOR RECEIPT

IN FLORIDA I AT TIMES USED TO SHOP AT WALMART. TIMES HAVE CHANGED WITH THE ECONOMY,....BUT WALMART HAS INCREASED PRICES. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NOW IS A RUNNING JOKE AMONG PEOPLE THAT GO THERE. BETTER DEALS ARE EVERYWHERE AND WALMART SHOWS SUCH NICE COMMERCIALS ----AND WHEN YOU GET TO THE STORE IT'S SOOOOO MUCH DIFFERENT. CASHIERS ARE TOO BUZY HAVING FRIEND TALKS,LAUGHING W OTHERS,..NOT MUCH MANNERS????? SEEMS AS IF WALMART SCRAPED THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL WHEN IT CAME TO CHOOSING WHO WOULD BE REPRESENTING THEM AS "WALMART". EMPLOYEES WALK IN FRONT OF YOU,CUT YOU OFF.STOCKERS YELLING AND GOSSIPING W CARTS IN THE AISLE ALL SIDEWAYS IN THE WAY??? WALMART EMPLOYEES LOOK THRU CUSTOMERS.THEY GOT A JOB-WHY TRY?? RIGHT?? I am very disappointed that I can not find any contact information to contact upper level management people that travel from Bentonvile visiting oyher stores. It is as though they don't want any feed back directed to them from anyone, other than the ones THEY choose. I am an associate, and I feel I need to speak to someone outside of my store. I feel I am in a catch 22 situation, and so do all of the others that I speak with. If only the contact information was availabe on the web sight I wouldn't be disappointed!

Your new store in Somerdale, NJ is a very nice and clean store, but I do have a complaint My complaint is that I believe you DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT to decide what I want to buy. (You do call yourselves a SUPER Walmart don't you? Well try being one.) You never have the same cat food all the time, some items as so far back on the shelves or in the freezers I can not only reach them, I can't even see them. AND, I do not appreciate that YOU decided not to sell the Debbie's honey buns with the chocolate icing. Your Asst Mgr helped me with the item placed way back on the freezer shelf, but never bothered to move those items to the front of the shelf. Are you in the habit of hiring people who cannot think for themselves? Someone should go around and move items to the fromt of the shelves, otherwise someone will climb the shelf to retrieve the item, fall,then you will have a lawsuit on your hands. You could just have someone who happens to be going to the restroom, or on a break, and if they see a problem, fix it, or give them the ability to get someone to fix it. If I could give lower than a 1 star to the Walmart pharmacy at the LaPorte, TX store I would! They consistantly give me problems refilling my husband's prescriptions. I no longer use the on-line or automated refill service, as they will only fax refill requests to a doctor. When I call, I specifically tell them to phone the doctor's nurse to get the approval for refill. They cannot seem to get it through their thick skulls that controlled substances are just that....CONTROLLED! Each month,for the last 4 months, it has been the same story, "We don't seem to have the XXXX prescription. You must not have called it in." This has even happened when the doctor's nurse has phoned it in for me, and my husband ended up running out of his prescription! The pharmacy staff needs to get their heads out of their rearends and listen to their customers, occassionally we are right! I will be leaving the Walmart pharmacies for those who don't seem to mind making several trips for a vital prescription. VERY UNHAPPY PATRON!

I WAS IN THE LEBANON STORE #2023 I WAITED INB LINE FOR OVER AN HOUR WITH THREE ITEMS AND IT WAS FORMULA.... I RAN OUT OF FORMULA SO I RAN IN TO GET IT MY DAUGHTER STARTED CRYING I ASKED MANAGMENT TO ASK FOR REGISTER TRAINED ASSOCIATES TO THE FRONT HE SAID HE DID BUT HE DIDN'T. I KEPT WAITING IN LINE I HAD A SLOW CASHIER THAT COULD BARELY SEE OR MOVE AND DIDN'T NOT KNOW HOW TO TAKE SPIDER WIRE OUT OF A SPEAKER FOR THE LADY IN FRONT OF ME SHE RAN AROUND FOR LIKE TEN MINUTES BEFORE SHE CAME BACK AND SAID I CAN'T GET THIS THING OF CAN'T YOU WAIT IN CUSTOMER SERVICE... BY THE TIME I PAID THE LADY WAS GETTING HER SPEAKER AND I WAS IN THAT LINE FOR OVER AN HOUR WITH MY THREE MONTH OLD CRYING! I CALLED IN I TALKED TO ASS TOM. HE STARTED YELLING OVER THE PHONE THAT HE CALLED PEOPLE AND THEY DID OPEN REGISTER BUT HE DID NOT I TOLD HIM YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. HE STARTED SAYING THINGS TO ME AND KINDA OF CALLING ME A LIER. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT HE YELLED AT ME AND LIED TO ME. I JUST CONTACTED HOME OFFICE BECAUSE IF HE DID IT TO ME HE CAN DO IT TO ANYBODY THE WORST PART IS THAT I WORK FOR WALMART BUT A DIFF STORE. SO I KNOW THE POLICY!

I used to shop at the Walmart on 99th & Military in Omaha. The place is always filthy and you have to drive a slolam course around carts in the parking lot. I've actually gone into the store and carts were not available as they were all over the parking lot. We moved to the another part of the metro area, and I was looking forward to shopping in a nicer facility. I went to the Walmart in Gretna to buy a laptop, not a cheap purchase. I had to hunt someone down to get assistance. Seems they were getting in a new line of laptops and only had their old demos for sale at 10% off. One of the demos was missing 2 keys. Really, only 10% off! and would come with no warranty. In order to sell the other, they had to go to the back room and find the box. 30 minutes later, still no box. Seriously, why wasn't the box in the locked cage under the display counter? I went to Office Max, got the same PC not a demo, in a box, with a warranty for $20 more. Met my daughters afterwork at the Walmart on 18th & Center, 1 getting two new tires and the other getting a headlight. THREE hours later, they told us they were unable to get the headlight changed, can we come back? They had 4 techs, all working on the same car. EACH CAR HAD ALL 4 TECHS WORKING ON IT!

To bad you have to leave any stars. It's like giving them a good mark for the poor job they do. I was so disgusted today when I went to shop at the Super Wal Mart in Roswell, NM. The shelves were so poorly stocked I couldn't find half of what I went there for. When I did get some of the items I needed I headed for the check out. There's a good 6, 20 item or less cashier stands on either side of the store and st least another 20 regular cashier stands. There were exactly ZERO of the 20 item or less cashiers open on either end and only TWO regular cashier stands open with lines coming out both of them and it would have been a good 30-45 minutes of waiting to even get to the cashier. Oh well, too bad for them as I left my cart full of the items I could find setting there and left the store and don't really care if I ever go back in that dump again or not! I hate Wal Mart period and I know poor old Sam Walton is doing flips in his grave over what his family has done to a once good store. At lest Mr Walton cared about his customers, now it's all about the all mighty or not so mighty dollar and screw the customers!!! Sorriest place to shop in the world!!
