I've been getting calls from Walmart headquarters or this is what they are saying. They have called several times today stating that Walmart picks several customers a month and send them a 500.00 Walmart card and all I need to do is pay $1.978 shipping and handling. The want me to give them a credit card number. I refused. Walmart needs to be aware that these people state that they are Walmart headquarters.
I purchased a Walmart Money Card brought it home to activate it on my own home computer and never received the card. When I called to inquire about the card I was told they could not issue me a card because they could not vertify who I was. The person was overseas I know for sure I put in all my correct personal information to validate who I was where does the information go? The proper thing was to inform me in writing that they were unable to process a card for me not wait until they start charging fees while still waiting for the card. This is something that customers who purchase these cards need to know that there is a possibility that you (the purchaser of the card) may not receive a card you will have to call to find out for sure. Puts us all at risk for fraud because we do not know where or who is getting our personal information through this card.
While shopping your Antioch TN. facility this morning at around 10 AM, there were several people standing in line to be checked out, I went to your service department to have a manager paged. Manager at this time was Gregory Tunstill, I waitied for about 10 minutes for him to appear to the front of the store and then gave up. Another gentlemen had been waiting prior to me. There is not a good excuse why a manger does not present themselves and should by any menas have more than 2 lines open for people with more than 20 items.
I have become used to the fact that when I go to Wal-Mart in my neighborhood, I'm not going to get stellar service but I'm getting so tired of it. I had a very rude cashier today. I didn't get her name, but it was Store #1261, Op# 6716. She was trying to prove that the coupon I was using didn't match what I had bought. The coupon was for ANY 2 Schick disposable razors (excluding 2 packs). So I had gotten (4) 10 pks which came with 2 bonus razors. She said that I had gotten the wrong thing because it excluded 2 packs. I showed her that they were actually 12 packs. All she saw was "Bonus 2". I don't know why that made her think it was a 2 pk but that's beside the point. So then, without trying to scan the coupon, she left the register to go to talk to the Customer Service Manager to try to prove me wrong. She eventually came back saying that they had to be Energizer razors. Really? Schick is a product of Energizer. Clearly she nor the manager had any idea what they were reading on the coupon. As I tried to explain it to her, because nowhere in the fine print did it say what she was saying, she kept interrupting me saying that she would just get the manager. As we waited for the manager, she wouldn't listen to one word I had to say. She just kept saying "Wait for the manager". I was getting infuriated but I kept my cool. Finally, the manager comes over saying something about it having to be Energizer razors or that it had to come with batteries or that the razors needed to use batteries. They just kept grasping at straws. Disposable razors don't require batteries. I have no clue as to why I needed to explain this, but nonetheless, they didn't seem to know this. I turned the product over to show them both that it said "Energizer" in the fine print. They no longer had a leg to stand on and finally processed my coupons. As I was leaving, she made a comment to the customer behind me about the long wait, as if it was my fault. So I made a comment to my son telling him that it's instances like this that make it important to learn how to read. If she wanted to talk about me in a passive aggressive manner, I will do it right back. I have had it with how the cashiers can get away with treating people however they feel like it. As I walked away, she continued to talk about me to the next in line. Real professional. Being in a Wal-Mart in Fayetteville, NC, is the equivalent to being in NYC. I would know, I'm from there. There is absolutely NO "Southern Hospitality". My questions are 1) Why was I met with such hostility over using coupons and 2) What will be done in the future? If Wal-Mart can't find cashiers that understand policies or fine print, perhaps they should find more qualified people or stop accepting coupons. I have heard about people getting a hard time when they have used coupons at Wal-Mart but this was my first such experience. I'll consider this a lesson learned.
I sm an employee of Walmart. Contrary to the other people working at Walmarts all over the fountry, I am not wllowed hwving red hair. I was told having a color other than my natural hair color is against dress code. Why does this dress code only effect me and my body? I am very pissed off!
In reference to store #558 in Salina, Kansas I would like to say that Wal-Mart Coporate needs to really really look at this store. The store in constantly out of numerous items, it's always filthy and it's amazing there hasn't been someone injured walking down the stained and slippery isles. This has been a rather recent developement, probably within the last three months. They never have enough people running registers but I always see 3 or 4 male managers standing around watching the their customers standing in line for 2 or 3 registers, do they not know how to run a register or are they waiting for someone to do it for them because they are "managers".? I've encounterd a few managers there, one named Steve and one named Eric who both were very disrespectful to customers as well as their own employees. I have been the subject of their disrespect on a few occassions (apparently they forgot that the customer is always right) and I have personally witnessed their disgusting behavior and language towards their own employees, especially the female employees. Someone should get a handle on it. Managers like these guys are what gives ALL Wal-Mart's a bad name. Not to be all bad there were a few managers there I've seen working at night who were helpful and courteous. It was when I was being helped by these good managers that I witnessed the utter disrespect by the other two in question. One female manager in particulare who was trying to help me, in my opinion could have had a good harrassment case if she had wanted to pursue it, and I would have been a witness for her.
DONOT BUY THE EXTENDED 2 YEAR WALMART WARRANTEE AS I DID AND THEY REFUSED THE REPAIR ON 1 OF 2 NOTEBOOK COMPUTERS. THEY TOLD ME THAT THE LAPTOP WAS ABUSED AND NOT COVERED AND WHEN YOU READ THE FINE PRINT OF THE 2 YEAR WARRANTEE IT IS WRITTEN IN A WAY THAT IF YOU HAVE A SCRATCH ON THE OUT SIDE OF THE CASE THEN THAT CONSITUTES ABUSE. DONOT EVER BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTEE ITS A YOU LOSE SITUATION AND DESIGNED TO GIVE THEM PURE PROFIT AND NOT SERVICE TO YOU.
I enjoy the wal mart stores all across America, and when we travel we look for them. I have a suggestion for you. Our closest stores are in Bolivar, and Clinton Missouri. I am very reliant on health food. Why do you not put in an entire section of Bulk and packaged health food , like a healthy grocerie, with all the flours, grains, spices, soys ect that the larger health food stores have. I have to go to KC or Springfield to find what we need to cook healthy food for us. Hy Vee has done this, its wonderful. I know ther are a lot of us who would appreciate this. THanks for listening, Jeanne
I Have been an employee of Walmart for the past three years. The store number where I am employed is 1448. My family and I have purchased a large amount of french bread from this Walmart store and it was always very good. But lately the bread has been of poor quality. I have asked the department manager what has changed and I was told that the vendor for the french bread has been changed from Pillsbury to a vendor by the name of Gluten Plan. My family has complained about the quality of this bread and some of the customers have complained to me as well. If possible could this issue be addressed at your earliest convenience. My family has asked that I purchase the bread from a different store and I am certain that there are other customers that will do the same. Thank you in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer with this situation. Sincerely Ina Willis
Finally after years of fighting in courts we got a super walmart in Henderson, ky. However shortly after opening it wasn't as great as expected. With 20+ checkouts at most 5-7 are open anytime I've been there. There has been several times lines have been backed into jewelry & only 2 lines open. Also with the new store many of the sections of the old store were not brought over to the new store. Examples no live fish sales (there is now betas but most or dead in slimy containers) & the craft section became smaller. Our walmart no longer sells fabric, few selections of yarn, beads ect.
To Whom It May Concern, Hello, I am the founder of a support group in Lebanon Mo. S.C.A.N. is Supporters of Children with Additional Needs. We are an all inclusive support group, any child with any diagnosis and their families. We have many families with children who cannot go to the grocery store without making prior plans for childcare at home or another person to help in a store. There is a wonderful cart called Caroline's Cart which will allow caregivers to shop without pushing a wheelchair at the same time. Many children are unable to sit in the carts that are provided, but not just the children with physical disabilities, Caroline's cart would provide a safe option for children who are ADHD, Autistic and have a tendency to "wander" in public. So many diagnosis would benefit from a cart designed to assist so many. I am requesting that all Wal-Mart stores please provide a minium of two carts per door at each store. Please contact Drew Long designer of Caroline's Cart at www.carolinescart.com, let her know that Wal-Mart has a heart, these carts are no more expensive then the electric carts that are provided for the elderly, and don't require charging. Many families and caregivers would be willing to shop at your stores if these were provided. Regards Terry Faust Founder of S.C.A.N scan4kids@yahoo.com
* I was just in the Marion OHIO "Wal-Mart Auto Center, I needed 2 front tires, as the wires are showing around the edge. I deliver Newspapers 92 miles 7 days a week, and it's imperative I change those tires before 4AM tomorrow morning! .. I was told that I could not buy 2 tires, that I had to buy all 4, or they would NOT sell me any tires, not even one, not even 2 of the matching front axles! Therefore, I must go to work tomorrow in the dark at 4 AM, *Praying that my tires hold out one more day, maybe 2, until Monday morning! * I've never had this happen to me in my life, I've always bought 2 cars at a time, if I wasn't able to buy all 4 at the same time! Even Sears has put on just the front or back tires for me, whichever was the worn ones! Also the Wal-Mart in Upper Sandusky always sold me the tires I needed for my wear, and for my safety! * What is the World coming to!!!!! ? .. * No One Cares, NO ONE! Cares About Someone Else's Need! ( Needless to say, I have NO Family Member that Will Come Get Me, should I break down, They all Live Out of Town! - I will have to pay $60-80-to whatever they tell me for a tow truck, should I have a flat! I have used all my AAA, I haven't bought my card, yet, again for Winter. I do have a doughnut, but the price is the same, ( Outrageous - if it is a weekend wrecker call or before dawn! ) * This isn't even beginning to state what status my Job would be in, should I break down, and cannot get the Sunday Papers delivered! And, the disappointed customers, awaiting the Sunday News! * All Rural Routes, 92 Miles + ( out of town )
I as a former wal-mart employee no longer shop at the store due to the corruption that is going on. I worked at store #2089 twice. My first time working there was fairly pleasant, I was in high school so the part time hours were flexible, and as a minor I only worked my scheduled hours and did not have to work overtime. I made the mistake of working for them a second time after I turned 18. The second time I worked for them, I discovered there was a new manager in my dept. I was reprimanded for calling in a few times even though I had a doctors note, and due to wal-mart's point system gathered quite a few points because of it. One day I was called into my zsm's office. I knew I had done nothing wrong so I figured it was for a schedule change or something of that sort. After sitting down my zsm started talking about an "issue" that I had apparently been involved in. According to him, my drawer had come up short so they looked into it. He then proceeded to show me pictures of me receiving money from a customer, and then me giving the customer's change back. He then told me according to the security tape, I had given the customer more than $80.00 more than what I should have. Need I remind you that there are upwards of 10 cashiers on the same register a day. The so called pics of me "shortchanging" were unclear, and did not in any way show the amount i typed in to the screen nor the amount of money I handed back to the customer. Due to the point system I was fired.I asked when the so called incident took place, and my zsm said it had happened over 2 weeks previous and the paperwork had been lost. How could that be possible? The images I saw in no way implemented me of doing such a thing. How could they "read what i typed in the screen" or "the money I was given and gave back to the customer". Does this sound plausable to you? I would really like to hear everyone's thoughts about it? Do you think I should sue? Oh and by the way, at the time I was fired, I had already worked more than half my shift.Oh and another thing if the paperwork wouldn't have been "lost", I wouldn't have had the amount of points I had at the time I was fired, therefor I wouldn't have been fired. I really appreciate any feedback I get. Tell me if you think I should take action against walmart or just leave it be. Thanks for reading. Disgusted former employee
I deliver goods to walmart distibution centers when I get into a dock to get unloaded it takes 5 hours to unload 3 half pallets what u have to count each box put it on the shelf go to lunch then come back use the bathroom before I can leave this is sad I can unload it by hand in an hour. To the woman who was "perturbed" to find the shelves void of "her daughters" nutrition. What if there were a hurricane, tornado, flood? Did you ever think to feed your daughter naturally?
For anyone who has applied for a position at Wal-Mart via the online application and assessment, be advised that this assessment is bias and rigged for certain people to pass while others don't; no matter what your answers are. I have conducted an experiment to verify this by applying and taking the assessment and failing and having other people apply and take the assessment answering the questions exactly as I have and yet they pass. Anyone who needs proof, just apply for a position and take the assessment. Make note of your answers by making a snapshot of each page. If you fail have someone of a different ethnic culture apply and take the assessment choosing the exact same answers as you did and if they pass, you have your proof. I will be bringing this to the attention of the proper authorities for investigation.
I just want to let you know that I bought a vaccum (bissel) from walmart mentor Ohio and it broke 3 mths after purchase and I did not have a receipt to prove it, all I wanted was to replace for the same one, they did not have one so they sent me to Chardon Ohio store, but they did call first they said that they had 2 in store that I can come and exchange but when I got that they did not have any at all, some in the store did not look very good for the product, so I asked if we can just exchange for the floor model, and they looked or walked around and came back to me after 45 minutes and said to me as she walked passed not stopping and talk to me about this and just said that "YOU HAVE TO GO TO ANOTHER STORE' and just kept walking by. All I really want to say that I think it was very rude for the store manager to run the store so meanly. Thank you

As many of us do, I give a lot of my business to Wal-Mart. Hundreds of dollars a month. There is a definite difference shopping at Wal Mart stores than others. Other stores have someone to bag one's groceries & put them in a cart. Wal-Mart's cashiers, most do not put the groceries in the cart. in fact in a visit to a Wal-Mart store the cashier literally asked me to move my groceries & put them into my cart. she told me that the area that she put the groceries in was full, & what it amounted to, she apparantly didn't feel like she should do, or maybe too ignorant to know that she do so. My response? "I'll go ahead & put my groceries into the cart, but i do not work for Wal-Mart. This is something that you should do. Other stores do so". Her response? "you should've just told me that you wanted me to do it". WOW! Just unbelievable the no care attitude that many of the Wal-Mart cashiers have. The older cashiers appear to be more mannerable/professional. the younger cashier in their 20's or even some in their 30's have such a NO CARE attitude.
I went to the Wal Mart in Oklahoma City 1801 Belle Isle Blvd Oklahoma City, OK 73118 I walked in the store to purchase my nephew birthday gift in the "TOY DEPARTMENT" as I was leaving my sister and was cut off at the exit by a white undercover yelling at me saying "you stole make-up from the cosmetics department". I said sir I didn't go into the cosmetic department, he said yes you did. He said empty your pocket out right now. I proceed to empty my pockets, guess what NO COSMETIC just my cell phone. He said well where did you hide the stuff at, I saw you stealing. He then walked off and his manager AMY said ma'am he's just doing his job. My question is does he accuse all black people that come into the store, especially one that never went to the cosmetic department. They will hear from my attorney. T. Watson
