Responding to Dave, 12/13/11 Well Dave I am an employee and have been for 6 years. It is you who do not know what you are talking about . Most store managers DO NOT shop at Walmart. With the money they are making they don't need to . I know you just didn't call me lazy. I work three departments by myself two days a week. You come off as a SUCK-UP. Never willing to see what is right before you. Walmart gives Millions to charity and can not pay its workers. I am fulltime and I am getting less than 80 hours. Is walmart going broke?? We use to recycle cans and bottles for our parties, now it goes right to corporate. We have not had a company picinic in three years. Our Christmas party is only for employee children. I don't want to have to get a second job to pay my bills. Are you happy with the new benefit plan? Walmart does NOT care about you! They are doing less for the employee now then they did three years ago. I am sure you are one of those employees who would work less hours because you still live at home with MOM. I have bills to pay I have a family to think about . This gal dosen't work for free DO YOU?? Pride goeth before the FALL!!!!!!!!
i have a cell phone app that is VERY popular. Every merchant that has a cellular coupon with this app knows how to use it and takes it. But not walmart they have never seen one i said we soon will only use cell ohones for this she said not every one has a cell phone they also charge sales tax on free 20 oz drink caps you get on pepsi or coke THEY ARE NOT LEGGALY IN THE RIGHT
i place an order on the 8th and all now my package is saying its in pompano and what i dont understand is they are sayng the shipper needs to contact them,i got one of the 3 items,i am so disappointed in this service it really sucks.
Purchased a Sportcraft pool table from Walmart.com. It was delivered damaged and left in the yard.(60 dollars wasted.) Sportcraft claims no responsibility to the damage nor the warped top and did state that warping was a common complaint. Who sells misfit toys at Christmas? I was told by Brooke at Walmart.com that to return the item, it would have to be in a box. Original box went same day, does anyone know where I can find an 8/5/2 box cheap? Folks, don't make my mistake. Stay away from Sportcraft and Walmart.com.
Ijust read the post by Val and cannot believe it! I thought maybe i had written it and forgot about it - the EXACT same thing happened to me with exception of paycheck at the exact same time frame!!!! WALMART NEEDS TO CLEAN HOUSE OF THEIR MANAGERS AND SUPERVISORS and start caring about their EMPLOYEES and not just the bottom line! The owners, presidents and executive officers are all getting rich while the people working hardest are getting screwed!
They totally messed up all of my online ordering and had no sypmathy ... I mean they offered no compensation at all for all of my missing items that ordered on line.... crappy c/s
I have been a loyal customer of wanlmart since I can remember and I have never had a bad experience until now. I go to walmart almost everyday. well I was buying my kids a new computer for Christmas. To make a long story short, the tag read 498.00, when I got to the register it rang up 698.00. When i should the sales associate where it was, he showed me a tag that read 798.00. When i reminded him what it rang up for he started laughing and said it was a rollback price. While i know that items can be put in the wrong spot there wasnt one tag that read 698.00. After the debt, and the shift managers were rude, I asked for the store manager and was shocked that he was just as rude. I calles the corporate office and was told I would get a call back. Its been a month and i havent heard anything from anybody. This has been really frustrating and a big disappointment.
I usually enjoy shopping at our Super Wal-Mart in North Garland, TX. However, I do NOT like that it's becoming more like shopping in a BARNYARD! Service animals should be seeing-eye dogs only. They can leave their nasty huge birds and big, dirty Rottweiler dogs at home! This is a health hazard, where food is sold and consumed...there is a McDonald's inside the store. Can they not leave their animals at home or in the car for 30 mins., or so, while they shop? What about small children who are afraid of big dogs...what about people who are ALLERGIC to animals? Shouldn't the majority rule? Thank you for letting me vent!
Hello we live in kennewick washington state and go to the walmart here because me and my wife are disabled and homeless and we hold a homeless sign to make it but the mgr of walmart keeps telling us to leave and calling police on us this is not elegal it is our first and fourteenth amendment right to freedom of speech so thanks whoom ever you are
Received damaged products not only once but twice through walmart.com on site to store pickup.(Same order) Items were suppose to be a Christmas present for my kids. Now not only will my kids not be given their presents in time but not one single employee spoken to me cared about my inconvience or disappointment. Thanks for a Merry Christmas Walmart!
i fell down in this store called walmart and have yet had anybody to contact me about my pain and suffering or just a how are you, nothing has happend not even a phone call, come on billionaires i know you could do better than that.
I visited the Walmart in New York I forgot the actual city, but it's the one closest to Jamaica, NY. My son relocated to NY for school and I went there to purchase some home items needed to for his new appartment. First I checked to reviews on google map and I couldn't believe what I read. I figure people were over stating but NO when we got there the store itself was a mess, customer service is 0. I heard that New Yorkers were rule but I notice Target was nothing like that Walmart. We were in extra long lines for over 45 mintues, the managers were the worst. I live in Corona, CA and we have serveral Walmarts here and never have I/we were treated so horrible. I wont be going back there ever. Believe it me we I say I am a Walmart shopper here in CA. The Walmart in New Mexico on our way to NY was super nice, clean and helpful. I would like for that Walmart in NY near Jamaica (city) be cleaned up, better managed and good customer service.
I began working for Wal Mart in August 2011. I really enjoyed the opportunity and gave it my best, as usual. However, something must be done about the lack of supervisors in different departments. I received no training whatsoever and heard every so often that new employees were to complete cdl's or something like that. I did go to the 2 day "employee training" which included watching videos and signing forms. Yes, everyone working there was great and nice, but expected me to "figure it out" on my own, I suppose. Well you know what, I've learned everything about life and how to take care of myself on my own. When a person shows up to a new job, they need to be trained by the manager or team leader. Over a week later, I went to human resources and started the cdls on my own. Your not even supposed to be able to work out on the floor until these are done. As I figured out how to do them slowly..very SLOWly, since I had been working my tail off out on the floor with overtime, I was told I needed to go work on the floor...?? I don't get it. When a business' internal structure is not solid, it will fail or lack in reaching highest potential.I won't work somewhere that is not securely structured. If they would improve in this area, their employees would be more content and focused on making the company a great one. Everywhere I turn I hear and see more complaints about Wal Mart. If customers and employees are appreciated, someone in charge should listen. I believe that eventually, Wal Mart employees' jobs will be replaced by something that's cheaper anyway. Wal Mart makes billions so it's not like they "lack" the funds. Anyway, I quit after 2 weeks (in Sept '11) and after searching high and low for my last paycheck, being directed to different websites and calls placed here and there and everywhere, someone in human resources found my paycheck Dec 13,11, in a drawer it wasn't supposed to be in. All this time, I've also been told I received all my checks. The check is expired... here I go again with the run around of trying to a new check...Don't get me wrong, I'm so grateful for it, but all this could have been prevented if Wal-Mart would implement better COMMUNICATION skills and a better system...you know, the stuff you learn in Business 101 and beginning Management classes in college. 12/13/11 Walmart in Pasadena, Texas on Southmore Rd. I went here to pick up my lay-way item(Nintendo 3DS) which I bought for my daughter as a Christmas gift. I was planing to wrap the gift up in my truck-in parking lot, but before I began to rap the box I noticed a small rip on the opening of the box. so I opened the box to check inside and guess what... The Nintendo 3DS was missing and so was the charger, the only thing in the bax was the manual and and adapter. good thing I was in the parking lot and notified customer service within 10 minutes of the purchase from lay-way. they gave me a new one and apologized, if i had not checked inside the box and just wrapped the box it would be a sad Christmas for my daughter... I think they should investigate the lay-way guys and fire that thief asap.
The Walmart in Killeen, Texas is the worst. The CSMs are always rude and the cashiers can not stand when you use coupons. I have had cashiers walk away and pretend they had to use the restroom. I have contacted the Store Manager who was very helpful but the service is still the same. If you have coupons and are not White BEWARE. They will act as if you are a criminal. Its such a shame because most of the personnel who work there clear the shelves using coupons. However, hold it against those who don't qualify for food stamps. The store intentionally will not restock the items on sale until after a coupon expires. How can these people be so loyal to a company that could care less about them? It's because of this bitterness they take it out on the customers. I have never seen a more miserable and hateful group of people who had jobs in this economy than at this Walmart. Did I mention that the store is messy and the "fresh" food is they sell is always rotten.
I have been an Assocaite of Wal-Mart Stores (Sam's Club) for over 9 years. A lot of you people are clueless as to what you're talking about. You are also narrow minded. If something bad happens in one store you relate it to the entire company. Yes, there may be opportunities out there in some stores, but that doesn't mean the entire company is flawed. A majority of the people that have issues with Wal-Mart being unfair are people that don't like to work and have a problem when their manager makes them do so. 95% of you that are trashing the company shop there. I guarantee it. They offer the best prices around without a doubt. You can whine and complain all you want, and if you're one of the people that won't shop there... Feel free to shop else where and spend more money!
I ordered a keyboard and bench on walmart.com and used the site-to-store option. Of course it is MY fault that the bench came to the walmart I indicated and the keyboard went to another location over 60 miles away. I have contacted customer service and they would rather lose the money I was spending than send the keyboard to the correct location. I will do my shopping at Best Buy for Christmas!! Walmart sucks.
Last July someone attempted to purchase something on my walmart.com account. I reported it to Walmart and the transaction was canceled. Last week I attempted to purchase some items and the order kept being automatically canceled. After four hours (mostly on hold) on the phone with walmart.com customer service I have been told that because I was a victim of fraud that I can no longer do business with them. I am a retired prosecutor and do not appreciate the manner in which Walmart has impeached my character. I have written to executives in Bentonville, but I doubt that I will hear from them as I have yet to meet anyone at Walmart who seems to be customer friendly. American history is littered with the scraps of companies that once ruled the landscape but lost their way and are no longer around. With Walmart's prevailing attitude, I am sure that someday they will join this group of extinct business giants. Shame on you Walmart for treating your honest customers like this.
Monday, my bank account was completely drained by someone who, somehow obtained my credit card information through walmarts online store. I live in Indiana and the purchases were made and shipped to Texas. Walmart has dragged thier feet on this, it is Saturday, and my money is still gone. The perp charged 4 IPADs at $599 plus tax each. I have called walmart several times to ask what they were doing to catch and arrest the person responsible, and basically they are doing nothing. They are not investigating, and I was told that I was the one who needed to persue it, that I needed to contact my local police and let them deal with it. Seriously? Do they just let people hack into thier systems and steal credit card info and do nothing about it, or maybe its an inside job? My bank, Regions Bank, has also dragged thier feet on it. Most people I know have banks with security checks in place. They would have red flagged a purchase like that and contacted me personally. HELLO! I live in Indiana, and not one but 4 $600 IPads are being purchased in Texas! I am the only person authorized on the account, and just a few hours before I made a $22 purchase here in Indiana! How dumb can they be? Oh wait, they dont have checks in place to watch for such things. AND why unlike other banks who take a max of 2 days to return stolen money, is my banks saying up to 10 buisness days AFTER walmart removes the charges and I sign an affidavid! WALMART IS EVIL, THEY DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS, AND I PRAY THEY COLLAPSE WITH A GREAT FALL. They have lost me as a customer. How would they like for me to go shoplift from thier store, to the tune of the MONEY STOLEN FROM ME!
It is hard to let the lack of education by some of these posters pass by. All their comments are mostly valid, but their lack of grammar is horrible and makes reading these dificult. Maybe that's why they have problems at the stores?
