I live in Virginia, I worked at walmart for over a year. I have a brain tumor I am also a single mother. I was told by my managers when I was a cashier that we were only allowed to use our discount cards on our immediate family. I used it on my mother, as I had seen ALL of the frontline managers. I am not, nor have I ever been married. I have no spouse...ok? my mother is my immediate family. I later found out after I was fired that this was not allowed. I did not get a D day, or anything... Wal Mart is the WORST company to work for ever.

And, just so you don't feel left out....sign these firing papers..and here's one for what's her name, you know the gal that's been here for 10 years, well she called in she's getting fired. Somehow, walmart has to be able to pay everybody and still make billions in profit. Just think how much they would save if they got rid of a few layers of management. The stress level would go down and they could save money on health care. Pretty soon, customers won't have anybody to help them find the merchandise. It will still be somewhere in the backroom, and no cashiers, customers will have to check themselves out. Yeppers, the first 3 days of 2012,and wally is cleaning house! Let's hope he doesn't forget the trash.

So go to the new Super Walmart in Marinette Wi durning 3rd shift hours their a few of their female employees appear to be in the parklot snorting something getting high really is this why the never knoe anything or can answer a question cause they are to high. The Walmart store in Marinette Wi needs to consider redrug screening all their employees anyone can pass a plan drug test once

i hate plano walmart!!!!!!! i have been in retail for 30 years, and i have never ever experienced horrible customer service in my entire life!!!!! MY HUSBAND AND I WENT SHOPPING TONIGHT, JAN 2,2012, LIKE WE ALWAYS DO, EVERY NIGHT, AND I HAVE PUT UP WITH YOUR STORES CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR WAY TO LONG, BUT TODAY JUST DID IT FOR ME.... FIRST OFF "NONE OF YOUR CASHIERS CANT EVEN SAY HI"!!!!! OR THANK YOU!!!! I HAD TO SAY HELLO TO THE CASHIER, AND SHE SAID NOTHING TO ME, THEN I HAD TO WAIT FOR HER TO GET SOMEONE TO CHECK OUT MY ALCOHOL, AND I TOLD THE CASHIER THAT THERE WERE 3 OF THEM STANDING DOWN AT THE END CHIT CHATTING WITH EACH OTHER ... AND SHE GOT SMART WITH ME SAYING, THERE HELPING A CUSTOMER, WHICH THEY-WERE NOT!!!! THEN WE HAD TO WAIT ANOTHER 10 MIN FOR THE LADY TO COME DOWN AND CHECK US OUT!!! AND THEN OF COURSE , NO THANK YOU, OR HAVE A NICE NIGHT!!! IM SO SICK AND TIRED OF YOUR CASHIERS, AND ITS NOT ONLY THIS ONE, ITS LL OF THEM... THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME IM IN PLANO WALMART.. YOUR STORE MANAGER NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE CASHIERS.. NOW!!!! OR GET RID OF YOUR STORE MANAGER, BECAUSE ITS HIS OR HER FAULT FOR HIRING THESE IMMATURE PEOPLE, THAT SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ALOUD TO WORK IN A CUSTOMER RELATED ENVIRONMENT!!!! I could not believe the commercial I just saw for Walmart with the mother telling the small little girl she needed to learn to walk as she was taking up valuable cart space it was in poor taste and NOT FUNNY. Shame on you for this ad that child should be the most important thing in the world to that Mother not your sale.

Anyone who has a loved pet please read. I work at walmart, i just had to bury my beloved pet. i did some searching on google to find out that FDA has issued a warning for all pet treats made in china. they can kill your pet! Walmart has these products on there shelves along with other retail store. please google this and read for yourselves. dog treats made in china. we need to get these products off shelves and save other family pets before it is to late.

1/1/2012 I went to the wal mart in highland ca 92346, I had a coupon they did not have the scotch brite i was looking for the cashier was helping me, the supervisor did not help me or the cashier. the one supervisor even said a smart answer to me.

I just wish that someone would do something about the way the associates are being treated! Hours cut, double work, and getting yelled at daily by management. Customers complain about shelves being empty but there aren't any people to fill the shelves. Way too much work being put on the associates to the point that they are getting sick just from the stress and these are good people. Just for once someone who isn't getting paid by wal-mart needs to watch and tell what is really going on in the stores.

I HAVE NEVER EVER MET THE 2 MOST RUDEST EMPLOYEES AS I DID YESTERDAY 12/28/2011 AT AROUND 8:51AM AT THE CENTEREACH NY WALMART STORE!!! I FIRST WENT TO SETAUKET WHO WERE VERY NICE AND DIDN'T HAVE THE $89.95 GPS UNITS OF WHICH I WANTED TO BUY 5 OR SO FOR MY GOVERNMENT JOB!!! I GOT THE APPROVAL & WENT TO PICK THEM UP. SETAUKET DIDN'T HAVE THEM IN! THE ELECTRONICS LADY THERE CALLED CENTEREACH WILLIAM WHO CLAIMED TO BE DEPT. MANAGER WHO WAS HORRIBLE TO PUT IN AS NICE AS POSSIBLE SAID THEY HAD THEM IN & PUT THEM UNDER THE COUNTER! I ARRIVED & CENTEREACH I WAS MET WITH AN ARGUMENTATIVE, RUDE HORRIBLE WILLIAM, BACKED UP BY THE RUDEST MOST SARCASTIC FEMALE NAMED MARZIA!! THIS WACKO MARZIA CLAIMED SHE LOVES COMPLAINTS SO I WILL SEND THIS AND MUCH MORE OF A NARRATIVE TO EVERYONE AND ANYONE I CAN FIND! I FOUND 20 CORPORATE OFFICES EMAILS AND WILL CALL ETC.. HAHA! SHE IS SHE IS LAUGHING THEN!!!

I had a very important christmas party to attend and needed to buy a gift $20 that could be used by either female or male. Someone had stolen my bank acount number wiped out my bank account and I was waiting for my bank to put funds back in my account so it was Dec 23rd before that happen so on Dec 24th I ran to walmart before the party to quickly get a gift and when I was passing sporting gods I seen a food grinder thought be perfect gift for male or female so I purchased it and wrapped it and I was so excited and the first person who drew a number wanted to know which gift was the one that the kim girl brought(someone asked me what I bought and everyne ended up knowing) so he chose my gift smiled at me and said how did you know what I asked santa for several people said thats what I was going to chose I had big smile on my face after getting laid off, taking in a teenage girl whom had been raped by her dad whom killed hisself the next day and my mom passing away heat and air unit tearing up, someone stealing all my money,and not having money to buy what my kids wanted for christmas I know you saying why did you spend $20 on gift go party It was a party for employees at this certain company and everyone could bring one person I am laod off and need job bad and I went hoping get to talk to the boss/owner about a job he's going to hire for in january small company of 50 employees pay starts ut $17 hour and if kid gets sick and you cant come work noone gets mad as long as you make that 8 hours up before the end of the 2 week paid period and if its at end pay period you sign paper that you will make up by next pay period choices for making up work some of your lunch which is hour long staying over to clean etc perfect company to work for with having 4 kids ver flexible.ten min or so went by and that man walked up to me said what kind of joke is this? what are you talking about? Are you that self centered to pack up something you already own and try pass off as gift hoping it wouldnt be open till after person got home I said I just went to walmart and bought it and he slung it down and said thanks alot for embarrasing me. I didnt know what to do everyone was looking at me I froze my friend said she wouldnt have done that someone hollered when did walmart start selling used items that parts is rusted come on you could of came up with better excuse than that. I got up walked out left and i think I cried all night and I didnt even go to christmas dinner the next day I called 1-800-walmart said someone would call me and 20 min later management called me from fayetteville tn walmart ask me could I bring it in between 7 and 5 tommrrow he said if he sees it walmart fault he would compasate me he said. I will update after this has been took back to see what they done I am still humilated embarrassed and hurt knowing I could never apply foor a job there they would laugh in my face tellong me i ruint the party The boss told my friend today to never bring me back to theres party again.

Bad experience could not even shop after a confrontation with the cleaning guy cocoa florida. This guy wears a mask and as soon as he sees me he goes were I am with the dustmop to clean. This is only when my husband is not around. I have complain to the general manager and nothing happen. I went there today and samething happen. To my surprice the manager side it with this dude and toldme he I was interruppting his work. I send a later to corporate and store with the details. Please look at the video.

Hello. I purchased from WalMart an ink cartridge for my printer. I realized once I was home, I had mistakenly picked up the wrong cartridge. I did not open the box but returned it with the receipt the NEXT DAY. The Assistant Manger told me in a curt tone, WalMart did not accept returned ink cartridges. There were several people in the Customer Service line behind me and she said, "NEXT." I responded, yes, you most certainly do, you can see this box is unopened but if you would like to open the box you will see the foil wrapper is untouched. She rolled her eyes and ran the scan bar on the ink cartridge box under her scanner. She then slid the box across the counter to me and advised me, this cartridge was NOT PURCHASED AT WALMART. "NEXT." I was perplexed for a moment. Then I remembered a scanner attached to a pole in the toy department. I took the Ink Cartridge box to that scanner and it scanned perfectly as a WalMart product. I returned to the line, where I had been so embarassed in front of all those people with her accusation that I was attempting to return an item not purchased there. I advised her I HAD SCANNED THE BOX AND IT WAS READ AS A WALMART PRODUCT BY THE SCANNER. She looked down and said, well, YOU WERE RUDE TO ME, and I just did not want to deal with this. I was shocked by her honesty --- CAUGHT RED HANDED I GUESS -- but I was also dumbstruck that she had tried that. I will shop at WalMart for a loss leader, if I am positive they are losing money on me, but that's all. I NEVER BUY GROCERIES THERE. Kroger's is less expensive over all PLUS Krogers has sales. WalMart never has sales.

well i have shop in walmart for twenty or so years. Hell the founder of the store showed a fish rig to use in eightys. So i feel hurt or at least put off deeply when asked to show a reciet after paying for the merchdise. Then if i do show it the old ladie grab the cart like i a theif or lowlife. Please note no alarm has gone off and of corse this is her doing her job. An i have always liked the store for the twenty four hour format,

I bought a camera on the site to stoer in september for a christmas when it was trying to be returned the csm was rude and said i couldn't return this item to them why do you sell these items on line so people can't return them this is money down the drain and i'm not happy about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was one of your best workers but you let a very young manager get me fired for 1 hour overtime after 4 years with you I helped you open a white plains store all I want is my job back right now I have no job and no place to live now I used to work in 7 depts. a night packing it out I used to clock in early so the time must have grow but he could have told me and I would have clocked out early but he let me get paid for it so I get fired just help me get back to work or my next step will be the news paper or t.v. for the way this store is to it's workers

So I have been working for walmart a little over a 1 1/2 years. I have had a few absent days because of being sick but it became a written. Soon after it was my last day as a sales associate in Electronics then I was to move to deli. Only so I can get full time because they wouldn't offer it to me in electronics. Needless to say I had gotten a D Day and it was for not locking a laptop cage. Nothing was taken and I never have done anything like that I could have thought I locked it but they said I didn't. So I just took the D Day. Well now I am only 3months into my 1year probation and I am moving I would really like to transfer would anyone know how I would go about getting my D Day removed.

Wow Dave,no wonder people complain about rude employees,you sound very arrogant yourself.People like you shouldn't work in retail.Unlike others,if I have a problem,trust me,it will be known very loud & clear! Anyways,I'm lucky I guess,my Walmart is pretty good overall,some employees could be a little friendlier & some need to educate themselves on their coupon policy since they DO work for that company.I only had to argue my point once,& of course won because I KNOW what I'm talking about.Snotty kids that are just thrown in there are obviously clueless.I've recently started going to certain cashiers only,so that makes things better for me.Keeping a better stock of merchandise on the shelves would be a plus as well.

The people saying, they are homeless and have signs. Go to your fire station, your police department, churches, they will give you food and clothing. There is a job out there for every one, Walmart has a great greeting center when you enter and leave. Don't be lazy , take your gov check put it in the bank and get employment of some kind. It takes more energy to walk up and down the street begging like a thief. That's what is wrong with our population now, everyone wants someone else to take care of them. Pick your pride up off the ground and work to have friends and food on the table. Oh, by the way if you can afford a computer to complain on your can get a job and give everyone helping a relief.

I have been ordering movies through Walmart.com and using their site-to-store shipping option. About the first of December (2011) Walmart suddenly stopped offering site-to-store shipping on any DVDs or Blu-Rays. I've asked why this happened on three different emails to Walmart.com customer service. The answers I get back are usually full of spin and never directly answer my question. Seems like Walmart decided to give movie lovers a back door price increase by not offering the free site-to-store shipping on movies any more. Any of you Walmart employees care to respond?

I was looking at some local comments on Palatka FL Wallmart, where i read a touching story a grandmother took the time to write about her single daughter.she talked about her daughter who enjoyed helping andhas been raising 6 kids by herself.She even worked out in the FL sun paving roads,leaving at 330am to go to work.Anyways this mother of 6 with only 4 left at home,well she sounded pretty good.Her mother just ask for wallmart workers(because that was her daughters favorite place to shop with the kids)Oh, I left out the part where she is now disabled for the last year and waiting to get her disability income.So they have had a ruff year but not complaining esp. the kids because of how they were raised.The grandma ask that her daughter and grandchildren get some e-mails of Christmas cher and maybe thoughts of a brighter tomorrow.When i read this i called that Wallmart that the daughter loved and spoke to the manager Weldon Taylor who had know idea of the comments posted on his own store.I then took the time to clue him in and explained how i waited to help with a small giftcard for the family.He told me i could indeed buy a card but thats as far as it went with his caring.When i ask who can i go to in the short time left before Christmas?He just told me to contact Wallmart Corp.So here i am,hoping that someone cares enough to help.There is no time to waste please care enough not to let these kids wake up to nothing under thier tree and thye mother,well seeing that would be the worst.
