Welcome to THE WORST JOB ONE WILL EVER HAVE IN THEIR LIFE. My husband works for Wal-Mart and I cannot believe the pay or the treatment the associate receives. My husband's particular position? They're paying him 8.95/ hour and stamped a manager tag on him. 8.95 is 3 bux less than the median starting pay for his position. They force people to fight for their jobs everyday they punch in. They destroy families and put them in situations they cannot get out of financially. My husband is spit on, kicked around, morally raped and has completely changed since working for this company. He's a shallow grave of the fun loving man he was. If we could afford to lose the 500 every two weeks, I'd ask him to stay home with our little ones and look for another job or just QUIT. WALMART SHOULD BE BOYCOTTED AND SHUT DOWN FOR not BUYING/SELLING AMERICAN, BULLYING COMMUNITIES INTO SHOPPING ONLY WITH THEM and TREATING THEIR EMPLOYEES LIKE ABSOLUTE SHIT. SHAME ON YOU WALTARD!!!!!!!! Sam Walton should haunt their greedy, self serving asses for eternity and then some more.

Sad to say after calling Giant Eagle and checking prices for the meds got at Walmart, $58.00 at Walmart and Giant Eagle I would of walk out of store spending $4.00 total for both... something is wrong here!! I will have all meds called into Giant Eagle for now on... I might even start shopping there as well for food, might spend a little more but will get fuel perks as well... Sorry Walmart you lost me as a customer!!...

I just received a phone call from Dumont, New Jersey informing me that I won a $1,000.00 dollar gift card from Walmart. However, they wanted me to pay for shipping and handling which I thought was odd. They had my address and phone number. The number to the office that called me is: 201)-338-6162. Please check into this. If this is not one of your card distribution centers you need to know that they are calling your customers and trying to pose as a Walmart card center.. Please contact me once you investigate this: My number is: (317)-622-1856. Yours truly, A Loyal Walmart Customer John Reed

My husband was recently terminated from walmart, in plattsburgh ny. He is being accused of theft. Todays date is january 27, 2012. Back in summer of 2011 we purchased a bunch of items, which included a license plate, plate cover, and bread ties for my daughters trike. Of course they fell underneath all the other items and went unpaid. Its been a little under a year since then and he was fired partially for that. He was also fired for taking a tip every now and again for carry outs, these are $1.00 tips once in a great while, he felt bad trying to turn down the elderly. On top of that they mentioned to him about electronics, specifically video games, which they assumed he was stealing. These are serious accusations, and if he were doing these acts i would have peace of mind. He just recieved employee of the month in october, how could it be he has all these accusations. I'm disappointed in walmart yet again. I will be taking legal action to see these tapes they claim they have. I'm even getting a petition to have walmart managers re evaluated, and our community to shop there little as possible. Walmart needs to respect their employees enough to do an actual investigation, i will take my buisness to target. Walmart is a disappiuontment of a company that claims to be like family.

I have worked at walmart for a year and a half in upstate new york... i have been treated poorly by most zms's and most of the assistant managers there let alone my dept manager....i've been coached several times and fired once until they realized i could have sued them for firing me! I average between 15-25 hours a week because who ever does my scheduling thinks i can pay my bills and live off that amount i recently changed my availability for certain reasons and as a punishment my manager took me off the schedule and i had 20 hours for 2 weeks not the first tine this has happend either im getting highly fed up and quitting is looking better and better....i honestly feel that 3329 is the worst store to work at management doesn't give 2 shits how u feel or anything i have not received a pay raise at all or nothing

I work at the pharmacy in the southwest ohio/northern kentucky area. When I started a few years agowe had a different manager and we were treated good. Since then a new manager and new rules, most of them from above the managers level. Such as we cannot have a drink in the pharmacy, because we might steal some drugs to put in it, we go thru a rigid drug screening prior to our hire, can be tested at anytime if something is missing, and there are cameras everywhere in the pharmacy. Now we are not allowed to use the restroom located inside the pharmacy, only pharmaicist can use them. We are not allowed to have pens or markers out, they must be in a drawer or our pocket. We use these writing instruments at all stations, drop off, filling and cash register. Maybe they will fire us when we forget we have a pen in our pocket and leave. This place is the most humilating place I have ever worked for. I can't speak for the whole store but I know that the pharmacy is and am sure other pharmacies in our district feel the same way. If we cannot be trusted then just hire pharmacist, no techs...Oh yea we are cheap. When hired Iwas told I would get a raise in 90 dys if I did well. Well walmart stopped 90 day raises before I was hired but the pharmacymanager did not know that..So I didn't get a raise even though I was tolds I would. I have missed only 2 days of work in my time at walmart and was told my attendance was "meets expectations" at my last yearly review. The rasies are laughable, .40 cents each anniversay, still don't make $10.00 as a certified pharmacy tech. But kudos to the walmart pharmacy techs, they work hard and do try to please the customer which isn't always easy when you are understaffed, and like most people they need the job. There are a few techs who have many years in and would still be paid time and 1/2 for Sundays, but in order to save a buck these techs are not allowed to work Sundays.

A problem has presented itself: These 20 dollar cell phones and or CDMA cell phones that are sold at any walmart present issues. That if the cell phone is being used in a criminal manner and is needed for investigation purposes that the drivers (software) needed to intrude into the device are not available. That WALMART can easily rectify this problem by insisting that all phones coming into their sales must come with drivers and or allowing of such "DEVICE SEIZURE SOFTWARE" to allow access to its memory. These CDMA and GSA cell phones are bought by individuals that are under the age of 18 with no problem. They become subject to scrutiny because of acts that are committed on these cell phones and ultimately WALMART becomes responsible for not ensuring that MINORS are restricted from purchasing such devices and should implement a new policy that only persons 18 and over be allowed to purchase ANY cellular device!

I have been working for Walmart for ten years i am a night manager i only make a little over thirteen dollars an hour there are stockers that i am in charge of that make the same if not more than i do and have been there less than i have they make all the overnight staff stay untill everything is done and makes the associates stay after there eight hours and make them cut the overtime on a differant day because if they get one minute overtime they get coached up to getting fired if they force us to stay after our schedueld shift they should pay us i feel that i have waisted ten years of my life working here now i am looking for a new job. our store is always the best in the district a testing store for new ideas we always get awards on how good the store is but managment wants to coach everybody because there not fast enough and we never get a bonus but our store manager just bought a new fully loaded tundra. i dont understand how the number one store in the district and passing last years sales does not get any bonuses.

Walmart is a crappy company that pays there employees the minimum by federal law and doesn't like to give raises because that is money out of their pocket. I don't shop at walmart because of the way they treat people I don't care if I would get money back I would rather give my money to a real company that cares. I feel for all the people that work there but I refuse to support what they stand for and how they treat people. If you have sense you'll boycot everything that they are and do and give money to somebody like Meijer or other everything store. Get with it people as long as we give them money they will continue to grow and do what they do.

I love my job! I have worked there since April, started out at 8.40 to cashier and now in the deli I got a raise pluse anther raise this coming April. . They give me all the days off I need for family events and work with my sechdual. I get 2 breaks and a lunch! The managers listen to what I have to say and do not talk down to me. I have never loved any job the way I do at walmart! Nowhere else has the team work (that I have worked). Even when I finish college I want to still work there part time.

I purchased a car battery at walmart in North Adams,Ma.I pd a $9.00 core charge was told when I brought in old battery would get my $9.00 back. Our old battery was 8 yrs old & with freezing weather coming was afraid it would quit .Walmart had good price so purchased.Brought old battery in lady at service desk told me if old battery wasn't dead I wouldn't get my $9.00 back & they wouldn't take battery. No where in battery section of store does it say that. All it says at the battery section is to recycle your old battery, doesn't say it has to be dead doesn't say you won't get your $9.00 back. They have that sign that states old battery has to be dead for them to take it of course thats on back wall where you wouldn't look.Course I pd for new battery at register not at service desk.Another rip off by walmart. One sign at service desk only This should be at car battery section.Course why would walmart do that they'd loose your core charge of $9.00.DON't Buy Car Battery unless your old one dies on the highway & your stranded.

I worked for Wal-Mart after i got out of the service,i also told them when i was hired that i was on inactive reserve and could be called back,They said that they would hold my job if that happened.well after about a year i was called back to active duty and was sent overseas.after 3 tours over there i was released and tried to get my job back with Walmart,i was then told by the store manager that it was not walmart's policy to hold my job. What kind of world do we live in where a soldier goes overseas to fight and put their life on the line everyday just to come home and is refused a job they had before getting called back to active duty?Im not saying all walmart stores are this way, just the one i worked at.I served my country with pride just to come home to this bs.It looks like Walmart's top people need to look in to this, they claim to help the public, schools, churches, and community, but it looks to me like they care nothing about you or I,they just care about how they are going to get more money out of us.If Mr.Sam Walton was alive he would fire every one of the people that works for Walmart. He was a family man that cared about his employes and the people of the community.he has helped the poor and even given gifts to children that had little or nothing for Christmas. Now it is run like a jailhouse store.God Bless America where we get ripped off by Walmart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wal=mart has a plan to keep all money that is spent there. I was given wal-mart gift cards at christmas and already had some left over from where I had worked and were given, for doing good work. I wanted to buy a American Express card so I could use other places besides wal-mart, I was told I could not, that I had to use the cards for other products in the store,is a American Express card not a product or does GREDDY ASS WAL-MART WON'T ALL MONEY SPENT IN THERE BIG STORE.

I'm an employee for Walmart and I have been used I worked in one dept and wall pulled to another dept that has a higher pay rate and was not given the higher pay rate for 3 weeks now this is not fair and when I constantly ask if i could get moved to that dept I pretty much got the run around until today I found out they hired 2 people off the street to work in that dept and making me go back to my original dept after I have learned every thing in the other dept oh and on top of that I was never certified to work in the other dept nor took any cbl's for it so do you think this is fair ..... I am stating my opinion and speaking my mind since after all there is a open door policy

My husband went into the superwalmart here in GR, MI today to get cat food. We live on a very tight budget so he took $10 worth of quarters up to the service desk to ask them to exchange it for a $10 bill. They wouldn't do it but wanted him to put in the coinstar machine. They told him its not their policy to take change, how would they know its all there. Take two seconds from gossiping with your cohorts an count it, is that to much to ask? How long does it take? An when you need every penny who wants to give part of it away to a machine.

I just have to say I am a couponer and yes many times I get free items by using coupons and yes I get the overage given to me in cash. I have heard so many times from fellow couponers that they were treated badly at other Walmarts but I have to praise the Norwich, CT Walmart. Their staff is always curious to me and will even go look in the back for an item I have a coupon for. I am thankful for this walmart and it's employees. I do a great deal of shopping at your store and it is a pleasure to finally find a walmart that is good to go into. Thank you

I am workng with walamrt since last one and half year but my experience is walamrt just plays with numbers of employees under employment is so much and internal politics is thre and thre is no one to listen walamrt should change its policy for associates otherwise it will have to face a lot from employees and that is very worst

If you think hourly associates are treated bad. Just think how management is treated. And yes I had started at a salesfloor associate. Any concerns brought to market mgrs in confidential is revealed to the store mgr regardless if it is open door against them. The solution then is to find any reason to "let go" of any associates involved ignoring the real issues!!! Impossible to contact anyone above to deal with any concerns or issues. Can't hide paper trails forever at 4557. Maybe someday someone will not turn a blind eye on the red book investigations on someone who is suppose to be running the store!!!!

I have been working for Wal-Mart in Arizona for nearly 3 years, and ever since I started, most of the supervisors and managers refused to train me well and over-looked me, especially compared to the non-minority cashiers/associates. Eventually, I was properly trained at Self-Check, other cashier policies, Service Desk, etc, but about a year after everyone else (even those who started months after me, as well as the ones that wrre TRAINED BY ME). I was a cashier trainer, had very few-to no absenses, kind, courteous, helpful, kept my area clean, never went home early, was well-respected, etc, but ever since I "secretly" called the ethics hotline, it seemed that managment was somewhat out to get me. I called them nearly a year ago because I was discriminated against MANY TIMES; put up with it for too long, someone who started a year after I, who was trained by me and was not a kind/good worker was promoted before me... Shortly after I called, I was promoted, but was given a lower position than the 2 other non-miniority former cashiers. Then, I was eventually BLAMED for everything that went wrong in the department, lied on, harrassed, etc and this never happened when I was a cashier/before I reported my store/managers... Then recently, I was given a written coaching for ACCIDENTLLY leaving a loan bag under my register at Customer Service, but they did not exactly prove it was me, and it was BUSY New year's eve+I was moving from register-to-register, due to it being so busy/us running out of money. Worst of all, I was never told that I could be coached for that, and there was ANOTHER associate who closed Service Desk that night (I got off at 8PM).... I wish I knew of a way to fight the unfairness at Wal-Mart.

why do all of us keep giving our money to them? stop now! When You go into a Walmart and look at the employees, they look like all of the life has been sucked out of them. I feel very sorry for them. Don't say get another job, it's not that easy right now. Isn't Walmart the biggest discrimanater(spelling) against women? Please anybody comment
