Wal-Mart Corporate Office & Headquarters

I am working for wal-mart (in two different areas) yorktown, va and also eastern shore, va (onley)..The problem I see with wal-mart is the have no respect for the hard workers their and let loafers eat the clock and cause them to go into over their hourly quota, meaning the hard workers have to take up their slack. The overnight mananagement has demanded that we get things done before we leave and causing good workers to quit or some who can't at the moment...leaving a slack crew left to fill the odds, but people like myself nearing retirement can't afford to make any quick getaways. I love what I do as stocking and making sure every thing is in its right place. Plugging is a major issue. meaning you have to take out the product that is in the wrong spot and find out where it goes, finding that you have to move that product to the right spots so you can put your live fright up in a timely manner....no manager that I have talked to seems to care about the small picture, rather base their beliefs on the big picure, which they care only on how much they can get out of you so they may look good or brilliant....I see how other employees are treated without proper training overseeing their progress. instead they rely on this so called task manager swipe machine which defeats its whole purpose. You swipe into the first dept. and it doesnt tell you how long you have per dept. and some asssociates like myself are fast and get the assigned tasks down. But the o/n managers always give you more to do that is now assigned to you and you don't get thanks enough for what you do for the company, so I see why the comments I have read really worries me that nothing has been done to be reqular managers and no computer managers and see who is and who isn't working. AP IS ALSO A JOKE, who should be seeing alot but I seem to have the only mouth at my store just because I'm honest enought to tell the managers what I think. The only reason I have not been fired is because of my job perfomance. Also I have missed time, only to recoup from the overwork (this legal chinese sweathouse) has pushed me to as well as seeing doctors and now mental doctors for my anger issues caused by wal-marts unprofessional disrepecting and down right slave owners. I'd like to see what lies for the small business man/woman in the future after wal'mart own its gas companys food companys toy companys furniture companys etc. etc. Will the government step in and say stop we have enough wal-marts now..let freedom ring for the good people of america let this economy grow again and put a check on wal'mart in becoming the most powerful company in the world....who knows will wal'mart have its own little army next..............Pray for us hard working people.. On Sunday May 20, 2012 about 5:30pm, I went to Ferry Farm area Walmart to purchase the one thing that I needed. When I got to that department, I noticed the item I needed had a lock, and needed an employee to open it. I asked a nice lady who was working.. for assistance, she told me to check with electronics dept, that they would have someone with a key to help me. So, I walked over and saw an employee and asked if she could help, she told me everyone was on break and she would go find someone with the key. She returned and told me she had to help someone that was ahead of me and she would meet me over there. I waited 20 min, and still no one arrived. The nice lady who helped me before saw me standing , and came over to ask if I had been assisted yet, I said No maam. She told me she was going to get someone in the front to come back and help. She then returned, and told me this "I spoke with our assistant manager Julie", "and would you believe she told me there was no one that could help you." We both were in shock! I asked the lady how they treated her as an employee, and she responded," If I could find another job that was closer to home I would!" She then pulled out a piece of paper and gave me the number to the corporate office, as well as the Assistant Manger Julie's name. She deeply apologized and I told her if there were more employees like her we would never have a problem. Now not only was this unprofessional, but the assistant manager didn't even walk back to tell me.. she had the nice lady tell me. Well, you better believe someone has lost their job. When I spoke with the head office, I gave the names of everyone who I spoke with. I gave the name of the nice lady who helped me, and told them She was a model employee and didn't deserve to be stocking shelves, but to take the place of the Assistant Manager that didn't give a S**T about customers. I wanted to confront this "Julie" so bad while I was in the store, but I knew it would just cause a scene and I am much more respectable than that. As far as the nice lady that helped me...Good things are coming to you sweetheart, you are an angel, and thank you!!

I worked at the Neighborhood Market in baton Rouge..store #4659..on Highland Rd for 2 months. I must say I HATED it from the first day I started. For one, the pay sucks..They expect to much work out of you for the little pay they give. Second, the manager was hardly there as I saw. Third, how can you tell employees not to text or talk on their cell phones if the managers and CSMs r doing it. Needless to say, I sure as heck used mines bc they used theirs. They can not keep cashiers there to save their lives. Someone really needs to look at the management of the store and maybe they would see why the turnover rate is so high. Lastly, how is it that some people are allowed to have certain availability..but I was expected to have open availability. Not Fair. What you do for one, you must do for all. This was the worst place i have ever worked.

I have shopped the store in Poteau, Ok for over thirty years and I have to say the condition this store is in is very bad. Ever since they have gotten rid of the greeters tne entry is very dirty, and I went today and there were no baskets at the door I had go to all the way down to the other entrance to get a basket which would hardly roll. I am sure Sam Walton would be very proud of the store.

I have worked at Wal-Mart and i love it every Manager and assistant Manager was Funnier than the Next I was Fired by a Manager Named Terry, tall guy, southern Missouri Accent, Collage Ed (from what he said) Maybe not! this Wal-Mart is in St Ann Mo 63074 and if i have ever seen anything more confused this is it, No one knew what was going on and no one had a handle on any of it! Oh one assistant Manager named Jim did have some Wal-Mart Background and did pretty well but the rest didn't have a clue

To whom It May Concern, In Jan. or Feb. I went into Kendallville, IN. Wal-Mart and ask them if I could get help on some things for the Chain O Lakes inmates. They just kind of look at me and said fill this form out. I did and never hear back from them. I go to Rome City United Methodist Church in Rome city IN. My mission is to help them when I can. i was shoping in the store i had a vary bad time with a boss there she was miss treating just about everyone yell using bad english,no respect for anyone saying she dosn't care about anything anyone things with happen the way she will runn it even if the boss do cut back so they can get there million dollars for the year.she don't care about the workers ether noone can tell her whats what her lol inng. not right i try to do my best and get down graded by her.she saying i'm get a big bonies no else.miss treating everone

I hate walmart and I work there they treat us like shit they don't care about you as a customer what do you think about us the people that work for this company we don't get nothing not a pat on a back a bonus or nothing all we get is a yell at why this an't done why that ain't ect.... all the people that work there is there paycheck specially the ones that over the employees they don't care what situation your in all they care about you spending your hard earn cash with them and shit i'm already fired so what you can take my middle finger and shub it right up your ass home office ain't going to do shit all they do it try to cover it up I hate working here its not a fun place to work they think you some kind of god you have to keep working and working and work so hard that one day you won't wake up i mean dead to the grave who only knew what was going on in the back to the front its not a pretty sight.

Went to the St. Lucie West, Port St. Lucie Florida Superstore on 5/15/12 @approximately 3:35 PM. Wanted to purchase a $600.00 camera with lens, etc. Joe, the electronics associate was disturbingly rude by first pointing to the camera counter, walking away, and while I waited for him to return, he took another customer ahead of me. I patiently explained that I was next and his comment was, "I am only one person." Well, duh, it was obvious that was true. I then requested to speak to a member of the managment team, and they did not even respond to two pages. Many complaints about that particular store. Purchased the items in my cart, the cashier was exceptionally in tune to her job and most helpful and felt she should apologize for her co-workers rudeness. I suppose that Walmart does not need customer goodwill, and by the way, I are part of the Walmart "family."

Well i was trying to get my job back ...6 years later everything is different i took this test 65 ?s i failed it the first time ..just took it after 60 more days again this time i passed it i was so excited until i was told i may have passed it but my number wasn't high enough for them to hire me im thinking really, so because i passed yet my number wasnt high enough you can no my IQ not to be rude there are people that may not be as smart as the averg person but dang we live in america right = opp,? no cause now days its all in the number wow ..walmart has really gone off there rocker yet you will hire 15 people not even from usa how ever you give them a chance before people who have been here are whole life and even have family that has or have served america ...all i can say is Walmart needs to get there act together before ..someone decides to go to congress i mean what would are founding father's say today? say....or do yall even listen to the word or do all yall live by the world standards ?

If I could rate the Northampton, MA store lower I would !! The manager lies to the customers, the shelves are never stocked, there is NEVER enough help due to all the layoffs.Yesterday I went back for the last time thinking the manager finally told me the truth. WRONG !! Pet dept. shelves were empty as usual, I went to the nearby grocery store and bought a ton of canned cat and dog food CHEAPER than I would have gotten there.. I wanted a quart of paint. Took me 20 minutes to find someone, who it turned out wasn't from the store and didn't know it. She was sent from another. The shelf was missing in the mixer and she didn't know how it went in, the guy who put it in said he wasn't sure it was right and he works there ???

I like Walmart. They do a pretty good job and have inexpensive stuff.

There isn't any sense in duplicating all the previous complaints. Its not just Geneseo NY it sounds like Walmarts all over are going to pot. When management really thinks they know how to run stores without the input of the people that are well grounded there then there will be trouble. I have reduced my adventures to Walmart it just is not worth getting irritated over. I enjoy shopping where shelf's are adequately supplied, I can receive assistance if need be and the environment is of a positive nature.

I have worked at walmart for the last year think it is really bad when they let other employees in your garden department lay out of work from being drunk and miss a whole lot of days and still let them work there and dont think it is right for other employees to do other employees cbls and cheat on them let employees smoke out in front of garden shop and managers taking a lot of smoke breaks and then dont do nothing to them about it but sure do to other employees been trying to push me out the door and finally did think it is pretty bad store manager does not make any department clean store up until there district manager shows up or there is a compliance inspection makes an employee work all day and then get rid of them and thought policy was family was not suppose to work at same store and thought your policy said employees could not date each other but get rid of a single father with kids and you arte suppose to have training on gemini but everyone in depaartment wants to be your boss so that you can not do gemini training or anything else someone call me or my lawyer gets involved as well as cnn and twitter thanks have a great day sam walton would not have liked this have people smoking in no smoking areas and a number of other issues i am getting ready to tell others at store 0974 in west melbourne florida 3217941013 thank you

Today I walked by the toy department and a customer stopped me wanting to purchase a bike but, he wanted a twenty five dollar discount because he said it had been rode on. There was nothing wrong with the bike and i paged out for a member of management because the gentleman was pressing on about it. After waiting for a long period of time and not getting a response for customer service I then paged out for our co-manager on duty. The co manager responded and then showed up to take care of the customer,but he was upset with me for paging out for him. He decided to tell the customer that I didnt have to call the biggest or highest ranking member of management over to assist them in getting a marked down price and that i needed to understand that walmart was like the military where I needed to learn the chain of command. I was shocked that he would belittle me like that in front of a customer for no reason. I told him that I had paged out for an assistant manager but got no response so he was the only other one to call. Im just a simple associate and I dont have the power to mark a bike down much less for that amount. He scolded me and walked off leaving me embarrassed and feeling so stupid for even working there. I really wonder sometimes if it is individual managers or a company policy that you can treat folks this way and get by with it. Shame and really not what I thought the company stood for..... Ive been with the company for a long time and really feel disappointed in the behavior of management. Why is it that when you get promoted you can all of a sudden look down on folks or belittle them to swing your power. Shame!

I am commenting on Walmart.com.rying to offer tyhem my busioness was a nightmare. It was one of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had to endure. I continually put on hold because I wanted to talk to a supervision, as the three previous agents I had talked to previously did nothing to solve my problem. Never again.
