I have shopped your stores for many yeas' I have never worked there and have no desire to do so ! From the letters I read theres NO enjoyment working at Walmart like there was 30 or 40 years ago; If you were to take a blind survey of your employees you may have a starting place to jump off and improve there moral! Walmart, Wally's world, whatever you want to call it. That old poor Mr. Walmart opened the store to help people and tried his best while he was living and now his childeren are ruinnig the place and I bet Mr. walmart rolls in his grave everyday reguarding his one time great place to work and shop, not anylonger. They are so stupied which is beyond explanation. My advice to customers whom have problem with their returns is this: just listen to the cashier whom handeling your return if there is a problem with the transaction. These people are so full of themself that will tell you what you need to do to return an item even if you have not bought that from the store. Just listen to an uneducated cashier with the chip on her/his shoulder talk. I am not sexest, but %99 of the time it happens with female cashiers. Good luck and keep on listening.

I wish they had a rating for "0" because that's the service you get from Walmart (including corporate headquarters). My car was badly damaged at the Erie, PA store during a high-wind storm. Because employees line the carts up OUTSIDE the store and don't bother pushing them in, they were flying everywhere in a terrific wind, with no concern given to cars in the parking lot. Two HUGE dents in my car (there were also two witnesses to the cart leaping the curb in the wind and smashing into my car -- a man and his wife, who is also a Walmart employee, who were kind enough to document to management what they saw and leave their contact information). Management "reviewed the security tapes" which showed the cart slamming into my car from the wind, and they also took pictures of the damage, which totals about $1,000 per the estimate I got. Got a letter from Meredith Draper at Walmart Corporate saying they didn't feel they needed to cover the damage -- although the brother of a friend of mine had the same thing happen to him in California and Walmart not only paid for the damage to his truck, but gave him a $100 gift card as "an apology." I sent a letter back to Ms. Draper, telling her why I felt Walmart SHOULD cover the damage, and it's been a month-and-a-half and I haven't heard a word from her in response. Tried to call her today at Corporate -- got shuffled to her voice mail, which was full so I couldn't leave a message. Called four times, trying to get the operator to get me someone to talk to, and each time, I was put back through to Ms. Draper's voice mail, which I had already told them three times was full so I couldn't leave a message. What POOR service, alll the way around ... and I'm thinking it's time to get a lawyer, since I'm getting NO satisfaction from Walmart.

I am an employ in store 3289. I hate that place. if i knew that i'd have to retire from that place i'd kill myself now and save myself the misery. All of our full time staff work at least 3 hours overtime every week, but we never get paid for it. Favortism runs amuck even to the point that one " pet" of a certain manager can go sleep in the parking lot and this manager will clock him in and out. Another employ violently assaulted another, and it was the assaultee who's job was put in danger not the assailant. Our entire leadership if you want to call it that is absolutely laughable and none of them are suited to hold their job. I can go on and on about that place but the bottom line is that i hope the store burns down and the management team gets cancer

I'm a Senior and worked in your store in Show Low, Az for 5 years....in winter I was transferred to another store in an area that was not so cold...we're 6500 ft....then back up here in spring. I enjoyed my job and worked in various departments, as I took whatever was open when I came back in spring...the 5 years were wonderful, but after 5 yrs decided to retire....Now, my Walmart is not the same....for some unknown reason, you've decided do away with Greeters...or almost did away with them as they can't do much standing far from doors...What in the world are you thinking? What and who decided on this policy? Thefts were big problem when I was there, and our local paper published police reports where they were called to Walmart several times in one day for shoplifters....My friends still there tell me they are not to confront anyone, even those obviously walking out the door without paying. I brought a gallon of paint back for refund and was astounded that no one checked me in....I went directly to Customer Service, got my refund and asked employee why this new policy....she didn't know or understand and I said could go out in parking lot and pick up a receipt, go find item in store, take it to them and get refund, or take one from home and do same....she said oh yes, this happening.....are you promoting thefts and encouraging people to steal? I'm really disappointed in you and this new dumb policy....What gives??? Do you need write-offs?

I went shopping at Walmart 2 days in a role;but ,could do very little shopping because there were very few scooters. So I tried a third time and this time I found one. Now get this. I have RA which is an immune disorder that can not only affect your joints but,any part of your body an cause severe pain, I'm An Amputee(lost leg b/l knee) Among other healt problems. I ask someone at Walmart(an employee) if someone,a person who brings in carts, or... could help me find a scooter. No one helped me;the 1st 2 days or the 3rd day.I've seen people I know who have no health problems riding the things. But, I get on it and A person in the store wants me to give the scooter to someone else, because I stopped in the subway to get something to eat(I'm also diabetic) an that person who works for WALMART was telling me HOW UNFAIR IT WAS FOR ME TO HAVE THAT SCOOTERAND NOT LET SOMEONE ELSE USE IT. When I told the mananger He wasn't any help. BOO to Walmart ! I use to spend ALOT of money there but, NO MORE!!!!!!!!!!!

What Wal-mart really needs to do is have several stores get checked up on with out telling the stores that Bentonville, Management is coming. I do not want to disclose where I work but the store manager is rarely to never in the store. The assistance are rarely ever saw either, where they are is beyond me! When we as a store find out that the head people are coming in for a "visit" the store manager freaks out demands all kinds of stuff to be done. The kind of stuff that needs to be looked after everyday. We keep associates that rarely work and let go those who will work. We never get over 33 hours, Full time is not even an option any longer. I have asked several times (each time we get a new manager, or when an associate that was full time quit or was fired.) I have been with Wal-mart over 10 years now and still getting 28-32 hours per week. When I ask for more hours they tell me that I have "closed availability." I am available M-Sat. 8-8. I cannot nor should I have to have open availability Midnight-11:59 p.m just to get more hours. I am told that schedules are done on a basis due to sales. Well we never have enough sales help, we are always calling sales help to the front to help check. we have maybe 1 sales person per 4-7 departments. It is no wonder that customers are walking out leaving baskets full of items. They get tired of waiting for cashiers. Our jewelry sales have hit rock bottom as we have to always call for somebody to go to jewelry department. Which leads me to wonder with the loss of people greeter hours, lack of sales help on the sales floor, very few cashiers. will I have a job in the next year? Are we going bankrupt? We are turning into Kmart. Thanks, a worried frusterated associate of a once great place to work. now it is just a place to work. Seriously we need undercover boss to truely see how poorly run this has become.

My WalMart shopping is done in the Ruston, LA WalMart and the Jonesboro, LA WalMart. For the most part, all employees are friendly, helpful, courteous, kind, and trustworthy. I have observed employees helping customers who had a medical emergency: the employees did their best to calm the customer, to help the customer, and to assure the customer. I have spoken to the manager of the Jonesboro WalMart and have found him to be quite helpful. The employees at both stores seem to enjoy their work and seem to care about what their store looks like. I am proud of both stores and their employees. I have no complaints!

I have been a long standing associate that has been constantly criticized and harassed by the management team of this company. After 12 years of service I feel I have been unjustly sought after to make some underline statement which I’m still uncertain of. I have always followed Wal-Mart's policies and procedures and practices without hesitation. Had been given the proper information and guide lines, but there seems to be different rules and guidelines for different people nothing is clearly defined nor stated. In my time with this company I have demonstrated dependably and reliability by being punctual, working assigned shifts and completing my tasks in a timely manor. I have taken pleasure in working in all areas of the store, and placing the needs of the customer's first when making a decision. Wal-Mart has gone astray to there human touch with their customer's. Wal-Mart putt’s under-quantified manger's in positions that they have yet deserved, individuals that lack the know how of communicational skills, and they seem to acquire this GOD like complex about them, constantly threatening job of average individuals. Constantly being over worked and understaffed, and taking on managements responsibility’s, never being recognized nor paid for the work that is done. I use to love this company when Wal-Mart was family based. There was a time that we where all family and there was no" I” in Wal-Mart now there is WAL "I" MART. Wal-Mart associates are only as a number now we have no names just a WIN bar. My time with this company has taken me from FL to MD and now NY and I must say the closer your store is to home base of AR the more organized and well kept they are. Store 1946 is the most ostentatious, decimating, unorganized, disgraceful store I have been at in 12 years of service. And it’s not your experience in the profession that gets you an upper management position it's who you know and how close you are. I don't believe this a proper, and or just but its happening. Store 1946 in Massena NY has numerous violations that are going on unobserved.

I was just in the Walmart in Mechancisville, VA. I needed some contacts, so I went into the optical ctr. The woman, that was helping me, "Katie" was Rude, Nasty, Unprofessional, and Noticeably Prejudice! I'm assuming since I am a Beautiful Black Woman, I shouldn't be wearing contacts? I requested my prescription back, and told her I would not patronize this establishment, she all but threw it at me... I went thru the line to pay for some other items I needed, after paying for my items, I ask the cashier, whether the Optical Ctr. had the same Managers as the Store, she kindly states no-madam, but the mangers can help you. I shared what had just taken place, this cashier was quite embarrassed that this had happened. She gave me the manager's name and pointed out the number to call. I did, the store mgr. was not available, but spoke to Assistant, he was also very apologetic, ask for my number in order to call me back with the correct contact information. In the meantime, I phoned the Optical Ctr., and spoke to a man (Bob), reconfirmed Katie's name, and then inquired abt. a name and number for the Optical Ctr. District manager's name & number, he states I can't give you that! So 15 minutes later my phone rang, and it is the manager I thought calling me back from the store, instead it is this Bob person from Optical Ctr. ( he states what is it you want Ms. Carter?) So I'm thinking, you can't be a manager, not speaking to someone like this! So I inquired, whether he was a manager, he then states I can help you, so I ask if he was the man in the optical ctr., and the same person that was there 20 minutes ago, Yes he states, what is it you need? I told him, I just called and inquired abt. the District Mgr. name and number, and you said you couldn't give it to me, Yes he states, but the Asst. Store Mgr. came over here, and brought me your information, I kindly thanked him, but I shared you were unable to help me earlier, now I have escalated this. He slams the phone! I am not waiting on Corp. or at least Optical District Mgr. to phone me. I'm sick at the type of treatment, I am a US Citizen, have worked hard in this life, and I demand to be treated with some respect! It cost nothing to be kind to any and every person!

I was in your store tonight shopping and at the check out counter, on isle #4, the Associate by the name Minal was very rude and condescending. She was throwing my items and while paying snatch my money out of my hands. I am a United States Veteran and deserve some respect. If I can't get it at Walmart I will take my business somewhere else. Just thought you should know what's happening in the field. The store manager Brad Mink store#5363 was not on duty at the time.

i worked at walmart store 248 in mexia tx and it sucked i hate to tell you. i almost always had to wait at least 6 hours for my first break when i got them. you got in trouble if you left your reg when nobody was there just to use the restroom. we never had enough cashiers and always had complaints because there was only 2 or 3 lines open. then they had too many csm's on duty at the same time telling you what to do at the same time but to do different things and if you didnt get them done in a timely fashion they chewed you out not caring that 3 others have asked you to do something before them. plus the front end manager renee that i had was rude to me. i had to quit because of situations under my controll and she yelled at me. plus i hurt my back there and had doctor slips and hosptial slips and they almost fired me because of attendance even though i had these doctument. i do not think this is fair. if sam walden was alive right now he would be very disapointed on how the employees and customers are treated by the managment of ALL walmart stores. i dont shop there i dont work there and i never will ever again and i even tell people not to shop or work there because if they do there in for problems. big ones!!!!

Walmart in Millington Tennessee has the most rude workers there. I could not find anyone to load the paper in the machine so I could get a wedding list to buy a wedding gift and when I finally found someone they had no clue and told me to shop some and come back. After 2 hours in this store I finally asked someone else to help me and if I couldn't get any help I was going to take my business to Sears for the wedding gift and the lady said she didn't care and for me to go wherever I wanted to go. So I got the manager and she did nothing nor said a word to this rude worker and even in not so many words told me she wouldn't do anything. I went to Sears and spent 200 dollars on my friends wedding gift with NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. I have come to the conclusion that the only people that work at Walmart only work there becuase they can't find any other job and I can see why and it appears Walmart will just hire any idiot off the street! This is not the first time someone was rude to me but I can assure you that is was the last because I will NOT be back there ever again or any other Walmart for that matter. I will do my shopping at Kroger and Target!

Dear Corp Home Office. I just wanted to say I have been customer at the Putnam,Ct.Store #1980 and I find it funny how the Big wiggs from Corp-Office had came to pay the store a visit on 3/28/2012 and as they never get the enjoyment of music playing except for christmas holiday,in the store for the customer to enjoy while shopping and to help motorivate the workers as well.Then for some funny reason the day before and day of the visit from corp office the music was put on and was loud enough for the whole store to hear it all through out the store.(But) the very next day it was shut off and taken away from them once again. Was this just to impress home office into thinking they always offer this on a daily enjoyment cause they DO NOT. They are not aloud to hear music in this store. I do have to say it felt nice coming into the store hearing the music playing made me want to have a great day shopping there as they do have alot of slow days in that store alot lately and they have not made sales in sometime now.They do always hear alot of complaints from their customers asking them why it's so dead and quiet no matter what time of the day it is, and no music playing in that store as they enjoy shopping in stores that play music while they shop. Note also all other retail stores i've go into have always played music over head, includeing other Walmart's, Sear's, Kmart's, Tj Maxx stores and all other retail store it's and enjoyment for everybody to enjoy. My god even the local Supermarkets play music. My question is how many complaints is it going to take until this store starts to show how much they Apperiate their every day returning customers and also their hard working assoicate workers as well? The assoiate's I've over heard alot of times the worker's get yelled at all the time for issues they can not control. As the Cash Resister depit readers never work They have to slide the customers credit cards for them, alot of customers don't like that and say why don't they put alittle money in this store to fix their resisters? We see the frustation all the time, or the other thing is alot of the idems in the store are missing price tags or mismarked wrongly priced and the customers get mad at us worker's cause they have to wait to get a price check done before they can buy the idem. Can changes be made to improve this store soon?

Walmart has a coupon policy in place that draws people like me who adore doing couponing into their stores then once you are in they refuse to take your coupons (which are valid by the way) and they simply call them fraudulant because they do not want to give overage which their policy states they must do. I am done with "Wally World" and I am letting my coupon club's Attorney handle it from here on out and I advise everyone else on here to do the same. Don't let WalMart bully you into accepting something that isn't true. FIGHT!!! FIGHT!!! FIGHT!!!

Walmart on FM 120, Denison, Texas. Anyone can shop all day at Walmart, the trick is getting out of the place once you're done shopping! Never enough registers open to move the customers out in a reasonable amount of time. Standing 5 deep in one line of only 2 open, AGAIN! Employees mulling around, laughing, visiting (including Mgmt) while customers waiting to check out. My neighbor in line 2 (5 ppl back) must pick up kids from school! Walmart has a "supervisor" who should be jumping on (during break times, etc.) to keep these lines down!!! Not happening at this Denison, TX Walmart. Can't wait for Brookshires to break ground in Pottsboro, TX!!! Wally World will never see me again! I pulled the Mom out of line 2 and put her in front of me to move her out faster for her kids, hope it helped girlfriend! Remember this day when Brookshires opens!! Save yourself some heartache!!

I am tired of illegal Hispanic getting jobs and using the system to get food stamps, and other benefits ...I was surprise when I saw an illegal Hispanic woman working at the BANK OF WALMART in Fayetteville NC. One more time WALMART is not checking the legallity of the papers. Any criminal can be working and hiding at Walmart...I am wondering if this is the reason of many dramas around walmarts in my town. BANK INSIDE WALMART OF FAYETTEVILLE NC has an illegal working just because needs somebody to speak Spanish....It is sad.....:). And the whole legal Hispanic's community keeps paying taxes for all the people that have babies, get fakes papers and work at Walmart.
