After phone calls to Corporate and promises from the Encintas store in CA tht I would have my calls returned I have heard nothing. Such miserable customer relations!!!!!Anyone read or have proficient hearing? I had a dinner party completey ruined almost 4 weeks ago when I poured Trader Joe's ORGANIC tomato chunks as a finishing touch on my other Trader Joe fine ingredients. The can included a very large COCKROACH!!! Brought it back to the store and they offered consolation of "YUCK"They assured me I would hear something from Corporte....Nothing!!!no answer to my call. Talking to the woman at customer relations who listened to my experience was like talking to a robot Sad to have to change after all these years of shopping. Friends and neighbors grossed out too! Stuff happens that cannot always be prevented but you are in control of customer relations.
Manhattan Beach Store - I found the worker's to be very helpful and courteous. I Didn't feel that the employees are happy but in spite of it they do a great job servicing anyone who enters the store. I've shopped that store since it opened and I can see a decline in the store's management not the employees. I hope it gets better in the near future.
Greetings Trader Joes Personnel: Just to let you know that those of us in Alhambra, California would like a Trader Joes nearby. There is a huge space that is vacanct at 701 E. Main St., Alhambra. It is in the Smart and Final shopping area with a large parking lot. The phone numbers to contact are: 310-550-3393 310-801-3431 Thank you.
This company has changed it's traditions and turned into a corporate company! I used to shop their, the people seemed like a big family! Now it's like the people are robots! Just gone down hill! I heard a year or so ago they hire a bunch of kids out of college and they are changing the whole system. A few of my friends have been working for TJ for 10 yrs and are at the point were they are unhappy with the changes. I believe we should evolve with change but keep the family thing going, it only build moral, most people are more happy. I used to love this place but now I shop at fresh and easy, they seem to be gaining on TJ in my neighborhood! I do not recommend them at all! One thing to ad my buddy's say that TJ have been late on giving the employee's W2's on time! two weeks late, wow a big company like that should have their crap together! Scumbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, Trader Joes? Doesn't the east coast of Florida merit your putting a store here? I have to go to Connecticut to find one of your stores. I live in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and there is a perfect spot called Legacy Place which could house your store and believe me, you would get tons and tons of customers. Come on down and not to the west coast.
We're so excited about Trader Joe's coming to Colorado. We relocated here from California 10 years ago and TJs is one of the things we really miss. About two years ago, SmartCo tried a few stores here and for whatever reason pulled out after putting a lot of time and effort into remodeling vacant grocery stores. They were only open a few months and didn't really give themselves a chance. I know TJs will do much better. We live near one of those empty stores, looks like new in and out, and to this day I think "what a waste." High traffic, major artery but still in a neighborhood -- I think TJs would fit in there perfectly. Location is Smoky Hill and Buckley in South Aurora (near Centennial border), please have your scouts check it out! Hope to see you open near us soon.
I have heard first-hand that Trader Joe's, unlike Taco Bell, McDonald's, Burger King, Subway and Whole Foods Market, has not yet signed the Fair Food agreement. This agreement, sponsored by the Coalition of Immokalee Workers, indicates that tomatoes used by signator companies are picked by farm workers who are protected in the field. Trader Joe's, please do the right thing and sign the Fair Food agreement.
It's been reported on the news today that Trader Joe's is in the paperwork stage of coming to Denver, Co. GREAT!!!!! I love Trader Joe's and have been doing my shopping there in Phoenix when I visit my daughter. I would, however, love to see a Trader Joe's in Grand Junction, CO. Would that be possible?
I have been going to trader Joes market in los angeles for many years. The last few years I have been living in Fayetteville georgia. There is no Trader Joe's near where I live, although I heard when I moved here one was being built in Fayetteville; Then I heard in Newnan Georgia. Once every few weeks I have to drive 45 minutes to an hour to a Trader Joe's in Atlanta to do my grocery shopping. THIS IS A HUGE INCONVENIENCE and gas costly. It would be nice to have a store here in Fayetteville; A growing and prosperous community. I have been a spoke's person for Trader Joe's for many years and have turned many people onto your store.. Thanks
I AM CONCERNED. I KNOW THAT WHOLE FOODS HAS A VERY DECEPTIVE PRACTICE OF HIDING "PRODUCT OF CHINA" ITEMS UNDER PURELY AMERICAN NAMES. I AM AFRAID TRADER JOE'S MAY BE DOING THE SAME BY JUST PUTTING, "DISTRIBUTED BY TRADER JOE'S" AND NOT REVEALING WHERE THE FOOD ACTUALLY ORIGINATED FROM. THEY HAVE A SEAL "OF ASSURANCE" SO TINY YOU NEED A MAGNIFYING GLASS TO READ IT AND IT IS ACTUALLY, ACCORDING TO ABC, A BOGUS SEAL USED BY CHINA. THIS IS DECEPTION IN IT'S HIGHEST FORM. I HOPE TRADER JOE'S STOPS THIS PRACTICE.
HOW MUCH LONGER DO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR A TRADER JOE'S IN OUR CITY OF MENTOR OHIO. WE HAVE BEEN PUBLICIZED FOR MANY YEARS AS ONE OF THE BEST CITIES VOTED IN AMERICA - - - HEY YOU IN MANAGEMENT - - - WE IN MENTOR DON'T LIKE THE MILEAGE WE HAVE TO GO TO IN OHIO TO TRAVEL TO YOUR "OTHER" STORES. WHERE IS YOUR MANAGEMENT IN MARKETING ????? GO TO THE BEST CITY AND GET YOUR NAME PUBLICIZED WITH YOUR BOOST OF SALES.
My husband and I LOVE Trader Joe's. We do not have your store in Sonoma, so we travel to Petaluma and Santa Rosa to get our TJ foods, etc. Yesterday we were so disappointed, because the mini toasts were not on the shelf, and neither were the boxes of turkey broth. We were told at customer service that those items are "seasonal." Oh, say it isn't so! We use those 2 items all year round. Your turkey broth is a million times better than the chicken broth, and no other store carries it in our area. We hope you will reconsider stocking those products all year. Then we will give you 5 stars!!!!!
I have always loved your store, and the products you sell. When I lived in Los Angeles, I would shop there every week, and stock up on my favorite goodies. Sadly, I moved from L.A. to Orlando, FL and there are non of your stores here in Florida. I have asked many times in the past few years, but so far I ask to deaf ears. There are many Trader Joe shoppers that moved here from northern states, and we are all hoping that you will consider us down here. I'm tired of carrying an extra suitcase with me when I visit CA.and fill it with your chocolate orange, and raspberry gel sticks, and assorted delicacies. This recent trip to L.A. for the holidays, I bought so much, that I had to ship a box back home along with the suitcase I carried on board. PLEASEEEEEEE, open some stores here in Orlando, and surrounding cities here in Florida.
Horrible service at trader joes Manhattan Beach; Ca. On Rosecrans. The clerks are rude and like to make the customers part of their jokes. Beware : your complaints will fall on deaf ears when notify management.
Trader Joe's in Albuquerque is wonderful - the Paseo del Norte store has an outstanding manager, Miles, who does everything - I know because he carried out my groceries when a kind cashier, Erich, said the bag was too heavy and he'd get carryout - I appreciated the fact Miles overheard from the Boss customer service desk, threw on his coat and carried out my purchases. Jennifer has always been the most helpful and customer oriented person on the floor or at the register - she always sees what we're looking for and locates it for us. Both Albuquerque stores are customer oriented but the Paseo store goes above and beyond all others - thanks for having such dedicated staff. beth
We live most of the year in Anacortes, WA -- went to your location in Everett until you finally opened a location in Bellingham, WA -- but that's still 45-60 minutes away! Please - would love to see a Trader Joe's in Anacortes. You have a lot of customers in the area, already, and Anacortes is a perfect fit for your company. Take a look -- it would be worth it -- and your customer base would love it!!!
I have been to Trader Joe's in L.I. New York when visiting my sister. I love shopping there. I live in Orlando, FL and unfortunately we have no Trader Joe's in the Orlando area. Why not? My sister sends me packages of items from Trader Joe's because I can't purchase the items here. Will someone please open a Trader Joe's in Central Florida?
I have a question and don't know where else to write ??? I enjoy shopping at Trader Joe's, and I would likely shop there (the Carmel Mountain/San Diego store) more often if the parking wasn't so bad. One of the employees said that the Carmel Mtn store was one of the lower volume/performing stores. I wonder if the terrible parking has anything to do with that?
I have loved Trader Joe's since I had to drive from Phoenix to Pasadena to go by the first one ever on our way to a boating weekend in Santa Barbara. It was so exciting then, in the early to mid 80s to have such a place. Then, when you came to Tempe, I was over the moon. And when I moved to Arlington, VA, you'd just arrived there as well. Now, my sister lives in Spokane, WA, and you've opened a smaller version of the store there (but it had almost NO Christmas stuff, and I just assumed I'd be able to get advent chocolate calendars for her NINE children up there rather than cramming them into my suitcase here -- WRONG. And then I learn there were so many here, they were going for a penny apiece after I left town. Thanks Jude for your loyalty)! Anyway, I made the discovery of your wreath sugar cookies and they appear to be gone from every Phx-area store now. I am down to my last two boxes and am in a deep depression about this. I adore them, and am trying my best to replicate them with my best rolled out sugar cookie recipe, and grind cranberries and pistachios or hazelnuts, or whatever on top of a glaze. I can't get the glaze right, nor the lightness of the cookie. So, I'm begging you to find me some more somewhere and ship them to me. They were down to 99 cents a box in Ahwatukee, and I bought out their last 30 boxes. I did share them with my very large family and my sister Jan up in Spokane with all the kids (7 are boys, too). They get a lot of food from the food bank at the church in the shopping center right by your store there, as they are missionary pilots on loan to Moody Aviation where Billy teaches young pilots to survive and keep the plane going in third world countries, as they did for 20 years in various parts of Africa. So, they are freezing, but loving the sushi and the wraps, salads, pasta dishes, etc. So, if you can't share the recipe or the baker with me, can you at least find a way for me to get some more before next Christmas? I am totally serious that I want a huge crate of wreath cookies soon (and they expire in May). Your most loyal customer in AZ anyway, Judith Ann Hillard judithannhillard@cox.net 2840 E.
