Two weeks ago, as I was in the parking lot of my neighborhood Trader Joe's, I accidentally locked myself and my 9 month old baby out of the car. My keys were locked inside! I immediately went into the store, found the manager by the name of John Earl. I was very upset and told him the whole story. He let me make a few phone calls from his phone, but I had no luck. He then saw how upset I was and how I had no help, so he offered to drive me home to get an extra key for my car. I was very apprehensive, but another employee told me that he was a dad and a good man and that I could trust him. I took him up on his offer. John Earl even had an infant car seat in his car for my son. He drove me home, I got my extra key, and he drove me back to my car. John Earl really was an angel that day. He didn't even hesitate in helping me. I was so thankful that I met such a nice person that day that was able to help me in that way. I will be forever grateful. It's nice to know there are still wonderful, helpful people out there.
I AM MAKING A HUGE COMPLAINT ON THE AS--HOLE TRUCKING DISPATCHER WITH THE EVERETT WASHINGTON TERMINAL OF TRADER JOE'S. FOR 3 1/2 YEARS, MY OLDEST SON DROVE TRUCK FOR TRADER JOE'S DELIVERING ALL OF THEIR GOODS TO VARIOUS STORES FROM WASHINGTON TO OREGON AND BACK. CARRYING EGGS, MILK AND OTHER PARISHIABLE'S TO AND FROM. HE NEVER FAILED TO DELIVER. HE ALWAYS HAD THE NIGHT RUN SATURDAY FROM WEDNESDAY. THAT STARTED AT 11:00PM. FROM EVERETT WA TO BEAVERTON OREGON AND BACK, DISTRIBUTING THEIR GOODS ALL ALONG THE WAY. NO MATTER IF THERE WAS RAIN,SLEET,SNOW OR HAIL, MY SON NEVER FAILED TO SHOW UP FOR WORK. HE'S WORN OUT 3 CARS WITH HIS HORRIBLY LONG COMMUTE OF OVER 300 MILES TO AND FROM WORK EACH AND EVERY NIGHT. EVEN WHEN HIS LITTLE BROTHER WAS KILLED ON HIS BIRTHDAY LAST YEAR, HE COULDN'T EVEN TAKE TIME OFF TO GRIEVE. THERE WOULD BE TIMES WHEN HE WOULD BE SO SICK, OR TOTALLY WORN OUT FROM THE LONG WEEK COMMUTE, SO TIRED AND SLEEPY AND NOT FEELING WELL, HE WOULD CALL IN AND THE DISPATCHER ALWAYS REFUSED HIS REQUEST. AND WHEN MY SON WOULD SUBMIT HIS VACATION TIME REQUEST A LONG TIME BEFORE IT WAS DUE HE WAS DENIED EACH AND EVERY TIME BY THE DISPATCHER. MY SON MEANS EVERYTHING TO ME. I'VE LOST MY YOUNGEST SON IN A TRUCK ROLL OVER ACCIDENT. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR NOW AND THE HURT FOR ME AND MY OLDEST SON, IS AS STRONG TODAY AS IT WAS 1 YEAR AGO. THE DISPATCHER, WHICH I WISH I KNEW HIS NAME SO I COULD TRASH HIM ALL OVER THE INTERNET, HAS MADE MY BELOVED SON SO MISERABLE WITH HIS UNREASONABLE DENIALS. MY SON RECENTLY HAD TO QUIT HIS JOB BECAUSE OF THS DISPATCHER. THE WORST PART OF AL WHICH PISSES ME OFF, IS WAS WHEN HE RECEIVED HIS FINAL PAYCHECK, THE COMPANY HAD TAKEN ALL OF HIS VACATION PAY BECAUSE THEY SAID HE DIDNT GIVE THEM A FULL 2 WEEKS NOTICE. NOW HOW f----N TRIVIAL AND UNFAIR IS THIS?????? h HE WAS ONE OF THEIR BEST DRIVERS......NOW HE IS SOMEONE ELSE'S BEST........WITH ME BEING HIS MOTHER, I AM STILL PISSED AND I WILL NEVER,EVER AGAIN BUY TRADEER JOES PRODUCTS UNTIL THEY DO SOMETHING TO RECTIFY THEIR ACTIONS!!!!!!!!!
Trader Joe's has become a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. It has become a store who's quality is much lower than Costco, Safeway and other cheaper stores... They buy food in bulk and then they package it and label it with they're own name. They have other company's manufacture the product, who will substitute the ingredients and add more chemicals in order to increase the profit. The Corporate Office refuses to tell you where the product is manufactured. The quality is not there anymore, it is very much inferior as it used to be at the beginning, when the store first opened. I refuse to buy anything that does not have the original company's name and address, not only, but also the produce that comes from Mexico and the rest of Latin America...
My heart is broken because one of your employees Michael "Mickey" David was shot dead and your company in what was told to me doesn't choose to have any of it's Silver Lake store employees mention anything out of "consideration for the family" . I don't speak for the family but from what has been said in the local press I don't find that to be true. TJ should at least set up a donation can in store so the public and help the family off set the cost of this event and allow there employees to speak about there friendship with this great guy. First a little back round on my store relationship with Trader Joe's & Mickey your employee. I'm a long time shopper that dates back to your Eagle Rock store in the late 70's. My reason for shopping at TJ's has always been the great food & the personalized service which brings me to Michael "Mickey" David, every time I went on my shopping trip to TJ's he was there with a smile and his helpfulness, if I didn't see things out in the open stock he would always check the back room to see if it was there and if it wasn't there he would check the order sheet to tell me when it would be back in stock. I know not to out of the ordinary for a TJ employee but not what you get when you shop at Ralph's or any of the other major markets in the area. Some employees are there just doing there job and others were like Mickey ...more than a job..a true real life human being. I've still not found a person like this at any of the other MAJOR markets. I ask you to please show a little respect for your employee's and allow them to let there feeling out in the open and also allow the healing to begin.
To whom it may concern; I live in Redlands,CA and we have a Trader Joes nearby, I have been looking for a particular coffee, I googled the brand and it stated that I could find the coffee at Trader Joes, well I went to the store and they did not carry it, I also went to another store in Upland, CA. I believe you do not carry it anymore, and I was wondering if you can bring it back or look into bringing back I'm sure your customers would love this coffee you once carried and you repackaged with Trader Joes name on it as you can find when you google "where can I purchase Cafe Duran"? This coffee is very rich and has so much flavor please visit Cafe Durans website they are out of Miami, Fl. The coffee is grown in Panama. PLease PLease I plead bring it to Trader Joes as it is not a coffee that can be found anywhere, unless it is purchased through another company, or on their site for a much higher price. I love all your foods and other products, I hope you are able to bring this Cafe Duran to Trader Joes you will not regreat it!!!! Sincerely, Laura S. Redlands, Ca
I am very much pleased to inform to TJ company that as far I am concern I am happy with the services that I received in all of your stores here in New York. I like the line of products you sale from pasta, frozen food, fresh fruits including dried fruits and nuts, cheeses, creams, bagels and other breads,so with your flowers down to your wines, and other Italian, Jewish, and Asian codiments. I hope that you will consider to expand to Forest Hills. A very ideal place. As I could see a lot of people commuting the train from Manhattan to Forest Hills,Continental station are carrying TJ paper bag. If you take a look along Queens Blvd.at 71st or Continental train station you will notice that at #108-26 Queens Blvd. near Key Food store there are 3 vacant stores very feasible to have a TJ branch.A block away at Ascan St.near Our Lady of Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church is another grocery which is Twin Value also own by Key Food grocery.People have no other alternative.I hope you will consider the site and to have Queens borough branch.

Dear Sir/Madam We would like to present to you our product, the Kartlok. It is designed to reduce cart theft, cost enhance customer convenience, and simultaneously benefit the environment. Kartlok is a cart locking system that helps innovative retailers reduce cost and waste while improving the customer shopping experience and making a positive impact on the surrounding environment. Kartlok is an inexpensive coin locking system that addresses the issue of abandoned carts for both customers and retailers. This type of system is used across the world to great effect and it’s time has come to be in full use here in the USA. Carts are being labelled as blights on our communities and this system is designed to help. We also provide a consumer friendly reusable keyring (the Kartcoin) which gives customers an easy, convenient alternative to using a coin. The Kartcoin offers branding opportunities, the opportunity to recoup the cost of implementing the Kartlok system, as well as convenience. Finally, our products promote the message of environmental responsibility. Pressure is mounting to resolve the issue of abandoned carts with consumers and municipal governments alike designating them as a safety hazard, public nuisance and visual pollution. Cities across the USA have been implementing ordinances requiring retailers to take action to keep their carts on site and ours is an effective, inexpensive solution. We would welcome the opportunity to meet to discuss with you in greater detail how the Kartlok system can save each of your stores many thousands of dollars per year. We have conducted consumer research looking at the perception of our system as compared to the wheel locking perimeter systems and would be happy to share it with you. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information. We look forward to discussing our services with you at your earliest convenience. Although it probably seems humorous to bacon sucking sacks of excrement with no concern for the suffering of other creatures, there are humans that care about what they eat. I am very concerned with food labeling, and am capable of rejecting a chain such as Trader Joe's on this issue. I purchased two jars of Tomato Basil sauce believing that it is vegetarian. I became very angry when I learned that Natural Flavor can include meat products. This is very offensive to me and seriously shakes the trust I was developing for Trader Joe's, apparently falsely believing that you were progressive and sensitive to this issue. For me thats all you have going for you. If you were to imagine that I had urinated in your company water container, you might have an idea how I feel right now. An intelligent corporate individual would recognize an opportunity to further distinguish Trader Joe's products by instilling standards of trust with clear and unquestionable labeling.
All I can say- FIVE people having fun, while us "the customers" are waiting in line. They are laughing at us. And the manager Tyler just lets it happen with his five girls all around him. Not acussing anyone for anything but this guy is VERY creepy! Who wears PINK glasses???? this manager does and he through them he dosen't see hs custometers. I am from Bullhead City, Arizona. I drive to Las Vegas, Nevada, to get to the nearest Trader Joe's, as do MANY of the people in this town. A Trader Joe's would be a great investment here in Bullhead City. Just thought you'd want to consider it.
PLEASE bring back Trader Joe's Wasabi Tempura Seaweed Snacks. I know so many people love these and they are kind of addicting.. If I knew where I could get them I would order a case of them. I don't know why you stopped making them. Could you give me the place where they were produced and I will try to purchase from them.
please open a store in wichita ks
I recently went in to the Trader Joe's store in San Rafael, CA and was very excited to be getting my trader joe's goodies, when i was approached by an employee named Patrick S, at least that is what his name tag said. He asked me if I needed any assistance and I said no I am fine. He continued to follow me around the store trying to look busy but after a couple aisles I realized that he was still following me. I tried to make eye contact so he would know I noticed and maybe stop but he continued following me until I felt so unconfortable that I just left my cart in the aisle and left. I noticed him near the front window of the store as I was walking to my car, so rather I walked out of the parking lot in fear that he would still follow me. Very uncool of an employee to make me feel so uncomfortable in the store. I will never go back to that trader joe's again. Thanks Patrick S.
I was told by Trader Joe's stores in my area that you discontinue the Trader Joe's 100 calorie 70% Dark Chocolate Bars. My friends and me are very disappointed. I s there any way to order it back to the stores or can I order it on line? It is the only diet sweet that is very tasety and satifying. Thank you.
I have been a loyal shopper at Trader Joe's for many years and I still like their products which are unique and affordable. However, after my experience with a southern California location which I shall not name to protect my identity, I have severe reservations about shopping at Trader Joe's because of their extremely poor customer service. What happened to me at the store level was shocking and that the corporate office refused to get involved is even more shocking. About a week ago I called Trader Joe's, looking for particular product that was difficult to find since it was a seasonal item. The supervisor in charge whose name is John stated that he was out but said he would try to order it even though others had told me it was unavailable to be ordered since it was seasonal. During our conversation he asked me why I had not been to the store in about a year. I told him I had not been to the store in a long time since I felt I had been treated extremely poorly on one of my last visits. When I asked for help, several employees refused to help me stating that they were too busy. One even said that he didin't want to help me because it would take too long. When I told the supervisor, John, about this he just smirked and laughed the matter off. After that unpleasant incident, I didn't return to the store for about a year. I was thinking of reporting this incident When I told the supervisor, John, about this he said that he recalled that I had been banned from that store for taking some frozen peas from my cart and throwing it at an employee. I was stunned that he said this since it never occurred. I called the corporate office to make a complaint about this. I talked to someone named Nikki. She didn't even listen to the full story and said she would get back to me. When I called later in the day, they said that they had decided that they refused to get involved since one person backed up the supervisor's fallacious story and three employees said something derogatory about me. When I asked to speak to their supervisor, they said that she refused to talk to me because she didn't want to get involved. It's hard to believe that a chain of this size would give so little concern for customer service and would choose to believe the employees, rather than the customer. Apparently, they don't follow the adage that the customer is always right. The customer service reps were extremely rude and impatient with me. They told me I could call the store and discuss the matter with the manager. The customer service department also mentioned that the supervisor had added that I had locked myself in the bathroom and refused to leave the store. This was also a complete fabrication. I decided to call the store manager since I felt this was my only recourse. When I told the store manager that he should allow me to shop at the store since what the supervisor said was not true, he said that he chose to believe his employees even though there was no independent evidence like customers. He basically had his employee's back and didn't care about my feelings. Also, Trader Joe's also has no cameras so there was no way to prove I didn't do what they accused me of. The manager also said that the supervisor was a wonderful employee and said he didn't believe me but believe him. As a result of what happened to me, I really don't feel like giving Trader Joe's my business.
Great coustomer service. I love their drinks and food
The Bluberry Muffins, Trader Joes Brand are mis-labelled....they say that there are 8 in the container and there are only 4... a minor mistake but confusing to us who read labels... Patrick Ward 484-571-2827
