Your customer service in henderson nv is deplorable. I was not able to go for a long time due to my hours at work and was so happy I would be able to start shopping there again once my hours changed. But first off the idiot behind the customer service desk practically runs you over when he is out on the floor to "HELP" someone and NEVER says excuse me. The and I will use this term loosely "ladies" behind the registers are always so busy talking to this jackass behind the CS counter that you have to ask them if they are even open. With lines of people waiting more than 3 you would think these assholes would ask if they could help you or look to help you but NO the jerkoff at the CS counter would rather hold a non working related conversation. I could give two shits less what these assholes are doing or what happened yesterday. If they want to screw around do it on non working hours not during there shift. Your company sucks now in my opinion and guess what the only reason I went there is for Coffee because of the price well guess what Starbucks will make out because I will only be buying coffee from them I would rather pay more for the good service than save a few dollars and deal with assholes. SCREW YOU TRADER JOES!!!!!
How about opening a TJ's on the Upper Eastside of NYC. I have been to the Union Sq area store and the 14th St store and 72nd St Bdwy store, but what about the population accross Central Park, Fairway managed to open up an Eastside store, How about you Thanks
I have been a loyal customer of Traders Joe for several years and the staff has always been friendly. I have been buying your wild Alaskan Sockeye Samon fillets for years ( frozen). On my last visit to the store I picked up several packages of wild Sockeye Salmon fillets not realizing that they actually were a product of Russia. I did not pay attention, because I never had come across anything but Alaskan wild salmon at Traders Joe. When I called the store, I was told I could return the fish, which is o.k. I asked the sales person, why you are suddenly selling Russian Salmon, she told me that they were not yet in season from Alaska and that you would have the Alaskan later. I have been seeing wild Alaskan salmon in other stores. And as far as I know it should be available now. I am disappointed in your store trying to sneak in a cheaper brand of salmon for your customers.
I love, Love, Love Trader Joe's. There is a store in Arlington Heights, IL which I frequent. Now, I will be moving to Ashevill, NC. Please, Please, Please open a store there. I can guarantee you will be very well received.
I went shopping at TJ today and wanted to buy one zucchini and found that the zucchini were in a package of four. I asked to buy one and got a snide condescending remark from one of the employees. "Ummmm no, that's not how we do that around here, and maybe that should encourage you to eat healthier." Needless to say that there are plenty of other places that we sell me one zucchini and not give me a lecture about healthy eating. Trader Joes lost my business today.
I just learned that you have discontinued the Trader Joe's Dairy Free Mochi. Please Please Please bring this back. It is one of the few non dairy desserts for people who cannot eat dairy. Thank you.
To the corporate management at Trader Joe's; For many years (14), I lived in San Diego, and I loved shopping at Trader Joe's for all of my home purchases as well as a staggering (for the mid 1980s and early 1990s) sum of about $ 200.00 to $ 300.00 for one day our sailing for my sailing parties on my 38' Catalina sailboat; and that was every Saturday and Sunday. We all appreciated the innovative, thoughtful, exotic and the reasonable-priced offerings at you excellent stores. Alas, for the last 14 years, I have been Living in West Palm Beach Florida and there are NO Trader Joe's anywhere. Do you have any idea how much money you could make in Florida !?!!?!?! And what a loyal following that you would have even in the most affluent areas of Florida !!!??!? All we have is Publix (and they do a fair, if pedestrian job of a full range of items) and then there is "Whole Foods"/whole paychecks !!!! And they are really incredible, and so are their prices !!!!! Your Company with it's already loyal following would fill your stores here day and night and especially in the more affluent areas of florida such as: Destin, Florida and down that lovely west coast of Florida Stuart, Florida, is a mix of middle class and VERY AFFLUENT retirees who want to stretch their millions and have really great food for their homes and parties. West Palm Beach, Florida is now quite a mix of ethnic, socio-economic demographics; but the demographics have swelled to now year-round residents who are incredibly saavy and affluent. Oh, and let's not forget the uber-wealthy on the Island of Palm Beach. Let it never be said that the super-rich don't like bargains or better said "Value for dollars" in stocking their huge homes and laying in provisions for their fabulous parties at their $ 30 million dollar plus homes and additional provisions for their extravagent yachting parties. Going further south on the eastern coast of South Florida there is: Ft. Lauderdale, the city that never sleeps with their multi-million dollar homes on the intercoastal and canals, their huge yachts; then there is a huge "alternative life-style community" that spends money like water; and they too have enormous parties both at home, catered, and on their yachts as well. And Lastly, Miami, Florida, more specifically in the areas of "Cocoanut Beach". "South Beach" and "Fisher Island". These are the most affluent areas in the Miami metro area who would literally flock to a convenient Trader Joe's store. I am sure that your executive staff, marketing staff, and operations staff have written the State of Florida off as a "Fifth-World-Banana-Republic", which it is; but this is a State with very select target markets that would do you well in your expansion. In short, I MISS YOU GUYS !!!!! Richard F. Koppe Jr. 1830 Embassy Drive, Unit # 105 West Palm Beach, Florida 33401 Mobile Phone: 561-315-3570
My Husband and I moved to St Augustine Florida 7 years ago from Long Island New York. We had 3 Trader Joe's in the area. We Miss them. Is there a chance we can get one down in Florida. Us Northerners are salivating for the store. We stock up on groceries when we visit up north
Your loss is our gain. We've been asking for you to come on to Mervyn's Square in San Lorenzo. The board reply? Oh, we're too small of a community for trader joe's to come in. Guess what (and I so love to inform our community and my fellow parents who work waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay outside of San Lorenzo since they prefer my profession for their hearts. Oops I mean their babies) Fresh Foods is coming to the neighborhood and fellow parents? Way more affordable than trader joe's. From my 100+ parents from the last giving decade of my entire life. Trader Joe's thought San Lorenzo too small for our community. Well open your narrow headed minds. Many and most of my childcare parents would rather shop before or after they pick up their babies. Re-route to Castro Valley (extremely small store) or detour to Alameda after their hard working day? I don't think so. Friends? Family or neighbors alike? Say hello to the same product quality to Fresh Foods near our Target on Hesperian. Detour and inconvenience to my parents and myself alike? NO MORE. You should have gone to the square in San Lorenzo 94580 when we would have loved to have you some years back. You've already submitted you're not able to abide by such a little community but guess what? My parents will go to the nearest, most affordable, organic store being built right now and to this day, 8/3/11, no more detouring to your place when my exhausted parents pick up. Get it? Not just San Lorenzo but its veins, people like us who love their kids and want nice meals for our children. Simple and sweet. Pauline Soulnier/Caregiver/owner/"Hugs" Day Care, San Lorenzo, CA Too good for us? Bye-bye. Personally and proud to suggest? Go Fresh Foods!
What is with all the 1 star reviews? Trader Joe's is the best thing to happen to grocery shopping since the invention of nickle/quarter toy dispensers. The only thing that could make these stores better is if they were coated in chocolate. Keep up the fantastic job, and add more stores ASAP!
I could even rate you higher if you could locate a store closer to my area. I'm in Amador County and I think if you put a store in Jackson or Martell California, you would do just great. I know many people here would appreciate and use the store weekly if not daily. Think about it, cost less to build here and your store is much needed. I do hope you take this into investing time in checking out our growing area. Thank you
It would be really nice if your stores enforced a policy that sick employees STAYED HOME. I really do not appreciate that the clerk checking me out two days ago in Morgan Hill was visibly sick. Now I am sick. Thank you TJ's. I do not think I will shop there again.
Recently, I was doing weekly shopping at the Trader Joes location in Pasadena (467 Rosemead Blvd.). For the most part, everyone is efficient and friendly. I would like to single out one "captain" in particular. While walking down TJ's frozen food aisle, I "caught" my pants on a nail that was sticking out from the frozen food case. My pant leg now had a small hole in the material. I was pissed because I wouldn't be able to "patch" the hole. When I went to the customer service desk, Craig Arnold was at the customer service desk. He listened to me, offered no excuses, apologized, and corrected the problem. Not only did he offer to replace the torn pant, but he has also fixed all the nails (screws) that were not properly screwed into the frozen case. Thank you Craig Arnold. You defused my anger and corrected my problem. My hope in writing this text is that Corporate will read this message and acknowledge Craig.
I want to know why it's SO HARD to get a Trader Joes in an area that is population friendly, clientele friendly, and out of the parameters of another Trader Joes?
I buy from Trader Joe's in San Pedro, CA. I question why so many fresh vegetables, etc are shipped from Mexico. I have been told that how they tend theirland is something to be desired. Do you have proof that the quality of their organic vegetables, etc. are just as safe as the ones grown in the United States? I just wonder why so much is from Mexico. Thank you as I do enjoy many items at your store but tend to question the items from Mexico. Charlotte
I just sent you a comment in regards to your vegetables being purchased from Mexico. I forgot to give you mt e-mail address...chargarfield@cox.net thank you
Like most people who know of TJ's - we all have been shopping with you since day one - seems like the 60's or later? I have shopped all over California in Trader Joes and can honestly say that I have always encountered more then friendly clerks and checkers - they always ask did you find what you are looking for. Since I live and shop in the Napa Valley store, I always enjoy the samples of what's cooking! The wine expert is the best! He knows the good bargains. I never go to the usual supermarkets and since Trader Joes and Whole Foods are side by side - we have the best of both worlds! I cannot understand the above negativity thrown out above - must be type A personalities and unhappy campers!
I purchased a veggie wrap with hummus from the Trader Joe's in Fairfax Va -- after 2 bites I decided it was untasty and might taste better with a hot sauce or something and put it in the frig until later. In a couple of hours I was deathly sick -- chills, upset stomach, etc. Contacted Trader Joe's --- they have ignored me. Was only trying to let them know there could be a problem as there was no expiration date on the veggie wrap. There lack of concern frightens me. Will never shop there again. And will spread the word.
I stopped in your store on National Blvd in Westside Los Angeles. Not my usual area to shop TJ's. This store is not up to par. Dirty and sloppy looking entrance. Unappealing. Coffee grinding machine was jumping and making funny noise and when I reported it as a service to you all.... employee did not seem to care. Even though he could speak English, he started speaking Spanish to another employee in front of me. Very rude. This store needs an attitude adjustment.
Concerned about eggs! Shelf life? California Eggs, produce, and buy from locals Not China, or other Countries! Understand the owner is German ? Are you an American Citizen? Your stores are high quality ! We miss the Bufflo and goat yougart! Wish you would discuss Health issues concerning Soy and its dangers and concerns for people with hormone issues! Really enjoy your Salmon wild caught! Do you like most Salmon sold Have it packaged in China? Do you sell garlic from China? One day price will cause more demands on all of us! But food inspection safety and value will hopefully tell the truth! We shop in Temecula and have the best of your employees There! So helpful As Christians who do not entertain Halloween We thank you for the Autumn theme! Please.... No witches, black cats, death or grave or spooks Displayed! We notice those things and make decisions where to shop by their standards! No Happy Holidays. But. Merry Christmas please! We wait and watch! No Santa but The real reason for the season!
