It was very sad to read the reviews that actually coincide with my own opinions. Within the last year & half my bill has gone up 40% and service has decreased accordingly. When TM was contacted on the many price increases, there was no compassion. Being a senior citizen & long time subscriber, my TV is a source of companionship. Shame on TWC for making me feel like a hostage and offering no help.

I just became a customer with twc and I am very discussed with the service. no one known what they are doing and I am being charge for things that I should not be charged for, I will contact twc for further discussion.

We are very disappointed with the service. When we signed up we were told we would get a $150 target gift card. After 4 months of service we were given 3 different explanations as to why we could not get the card. We have also had problems with the TV connection and it is impossible to get help when trying to call for service. We are returning to Verizon.

Unbelievable

These people are clueless. We were missing one channel on our cable. Barter half an hour either technical representative we have no channels. The best they can do is get someone to come out in two days. Run on't walk from these people.

Worst customer service I've ever dealt with and I was in customer service for many years. The wait time to even reach a person is ridiculous. Then if your lucky they won't put you on hold back in the queue and you've o sart all over again. I am going to attempt for the 5 th time to contact them to adjust incorrect billing. Would not recommend TWC for cable. Cable glitches, freezes, and to reach somebody is impossible.

Cost of television cost/quality of what you're getting does not equal.

My problem with Time Warner is if you have a channel specifically for old and outdated television such as TCM which is called Turner Classic Movie channel then WHY is the majority of HBO and Showtime and etc is outdated televsion we are in the 20th century and you all are so outdated with television it is the most unsettling thing, but I was told that the someone wanted to get paid to much money so I suppose the customer has to pay the consequences. Also why should customers have to pay the consequences of the company when we are already paying the consequences by making it mandatory to pay for televison without any choice in the matter. So why not provide something in the 20th century instead of 1900 or 1800's. Can't you provide updated TV.

Calling FCC and BBB

My issues with Time Warner Cable stem only from my wireless service. How in the world can a company be so inept at handling technical support issues with their own equipment? I get charged 180.00 a month for my service and have had poor wireless connectivity for months. Numerous wireless modem switchouts, etc.. all with the same result.

I have dealt with this company three tmes in the last seven years. Each time I was extremely disatisfied with the customer service and its' incompenet installers. The first time 7 installers could not figure out how to get my telephone working. The second time, 5 years later, they wouldn't install a cable line because a tree branch was in their way. This last time, a technician told us he was unable to hook up our internet because the offices were closed. This company sucks!

It is like trying to out last the wave of UTTER FUTILITY. This Time Warner Cable Co. needs to bring this crew into the 21st century or maybe it is the cable company that is INEPT. Please advise TWC if you are going to change your pervarcating commercialism.

If you have a choice and dont have to use them save yourself a major headack.... False Advertising, noone has any idea what the next person is doing.. Expect long phone calls with no resolution.... Company has no right doing buisness.. Stupid!!!!

poor service

I cancelled the service with you after 7 +years . When I took back the equipment I was told I will be reimbursed about $76. Two months later and after 3 more calls- I was told the money were kept to pay on my internet service I decided to keep it with you. I was not receiving anything in the mail. SHAME ON YOU. This is not a way to do business. You should returned my money and then bill me for internet as agreed. When I called in a very ruth gentlemen pretending to be manager told me this is the way you want to do business. take it or leave it...

First I thought, "Kudos to Time Warner Cable" for keeping their service up throughout Sandy (which hit NYC Monday, October 29th). Then, TWO DAYS AFTER IT ENDED their service went down completely on Thursday, November 1st. Their rep told me how lucky I was because I should have lost service on the 29th, when the rest of the system went down. WHAT UTTER NONSENSE! They obviously broke what was working while trying to fix what had been broken. Still no service now (Nov 5th) and no live person answers when you call. Clearly a case of "The Public Be Damned!"

How can this be done within the law? can there be a collection of victims which would be every twc customer that as a group would have a way to put them out of business. Sorry for the people who work for them but all to often I have found them to be as non responsive as the company. It is simply a collection of crooks. One lies and the others swear to it. I am in the process of installing my bundle kit from Time Warner, and it has been a nightmare since from the beginning. I called on a Saturday to order the service. I was told to stay on the line for a 3rd Party Verification. After being cut off 10 time I was finally able to complete the verfication the next day. I then was told that the equipment would arrive on Wednesday. I called on Wednesday and was told that my order was put into the system incorrectly and that it would arrive on Friday. The equipment did not arrive until Thurday and was then told that a technician would have to come out to complete the hook up outside on Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 7:00. The technician never arrived an I never received a called. I call the next morning on to fine out that there was no indication in the system that the technician completed the service. I was then told that a technician would be out to my residence by 12:00 noon. I called back after 12:00 noon to find out that a technician would be there sometime before 7:00 pm and that order was put into the system wrong. The time spent on this process with Time Warner has been unbelievable. This was a terrible and fraustrating experience to say the least.

I notified ;time Warner the my remote control went dead, Since I am handicapped and a senior citizen I was told that they TW would mail it to me, That was on Sunday. When I called again on tuesday of the following week, they stated that it just went out in the mail. On thursday of that same week they told me that it just week out that day. All if the people that I talk during that week which consisted of at least twelve all stated the same thing if you want to get a remote come to our office and pick it up, Your people and sales reps. don;t care about service, the old or the handicapped, They are selfish and it seems you company is the same way, just show me the money.

Aug. 10 letter from marketing geniuses at TWC advised of dropping a few cable channels and how to go through some hoops to get them back after the NEW "IMPROVED" service dropped them. Didn't care, never watched those anyway as well as all the others forced on us that don't want. HOWEVER, the geniuses who sent out the advisory FAILED to tell us that all our HD reception for non-set top box TVs (we have several) would need to be completly scanned anew to get HD pic and sound and cleared of scambled stuff. Was just about to cancel and switch to Direct when figured this out. Would have helped to warn us !
