If TARGET continues to advertise on ABC, I will no longer shop at their stores. AND, I will encourage others not to shop there.
I went to the Target in Norman, OK on Monday, May 9, 2011. They had only two checkers working to check people out. Where was the manager or assistance manager to help these checkers? There were at least eight people in each line waiting to be checked out. This is not the first time this has happened to me. Why isn't everyone who works there trained to check people out. You know possibly the manager could had help these checkers until someone else showed up to help. Thank you Shari Shirley
I have worked in H/R for multiple years and have never had to deal with the bad business practices that I have encountered within Target Stores and Target Corporation. At one time, I was a true Target shopper but as of this moment, I will no longer shop there, I will no longer suggest someone shop there, and I will definitely not suggest working with this company. The store that I am seriously upset with is the Short Pump Store in Henrico County Virginia. There are very few people in a position of "power" at that store that I believe are competent enough to actually be in said position. They are immature and poorly trained. There is one young lady that I'll call T that is in charge of the front during most mornings, that takes breaks longer than one should (hours instead of minutes) and requests that people under her cover her during these breaks. Another would be a young gentleman, I'll call J in training, who while a guest was complaining to him about an employees inability to interrupt a conversation between the guest and her daughter, decided to tell this guest that there had been problems with that employee before. Exactly when is it a practice to throw your own employee 'under the bus' in front of a guest? This is just one example. While I understand that the customer or "guest" is always right, there are times when they are not. I have many family members that use Target, as well as friends. No longer.
Everytime I go to my store in St. Petersburg, Fl they are out of the items I want. Anything that has a good price or is popular they never have. I had to go to another Target store in Pinellas Park, Fl. I picked up the 2 items I wanted and then there were no more left on the shelf. Also, they will have empty shelves, so I have to hunt down an employee and then she or he will check in the back to see if there is more of that item. One time, the shelf was empty and the employee brought up about 4 pkges. of 36 rolls of Angel Soft toilet paper after I asked her to check. But they need to have the stock people do a better job as this happens all the time. It extends your shopping time by 5 or 10 minutes each time you go there. We used to be able to go to another store in the area if Target was out, but they have closed.
I have had the absolute worse customer service experience and spent the better part of yesterday trying to get Target to stand behind their "2 YEAR REPLACEMENT PLAN" IT'S BOGUS. It is really 1 year AFTERfrom As you can see, I spent the better part of my day yesterday and now started this morning again on the phone and dealing with Target employees – many of whom were managers and Supervisors. Only one employee, Jeff from EFW – seems promising – we’ll see! Other than that, not one was helpful. Particularly Nicole, Manager in Farmingdale, NY, Vincent – the Store Manager in Farmingdale, Steve in District Office in Haupauge, NY and Veronica in Guest Relations. Not one of these people took even a few extra minutes to try and help a customer. I’ve worked in Human Resources for many years and take the time to write when I encounter good and professional employees as well as unprofessional. Unfortunately, this was a horrible experience all around and obviously needs to be addressed. If these employees were any of our employees where I work, there would be serious disciplinary actions and at least an investigation as to why employees and managers act in such a “robotic” fashion when addressing customers. And – my original problem still has not been addressed – I am not receiving the REPLACEMENT PLAN I PAID FOR. I just wanted a replacement for a camera I bought for my teenage daughter and I paid for the REPLACEMENT PLAN! I have the camera, charger, box, receipt, original replacement card. I’m a professional woman who is just trying to get what I paid for and what was promised. I’m not having success and I’m hugely disappointed in Target.
Target Store at: 130 Ramada Dr East Hanover, NJ 07936 Has racists Black employees who do not like to provide service or help to other minorities, especially if you are not black - ironically they have no problems with "white customers." I am feed-up with this BS. Clean up your act, of suffer the consequences!
Target in Milltown NJ just expanded to now carry more grocery items, produce & meats,etc... I went on a Monday evening with Target coupons in hand and I was disgusted at the produce & meat shelves. Almost all the shelves were bare and all of my coupon items were sold out...only damaged goods items were left on the shelves! The employees should take the damaged goods off the shelves and trash them! Why doesn't the manager make sure the produce & meat items are stocked? And if it's not the manager's fault, then who's fault is it. What good are great coupons if I can't redeem them? Is this some kind of 'bait & switch' scheme??? This will never be a success unless someone from corporate keeps those responsible on their toes. For now I think I'll go to ShopRite because at least there I know the shelves are stocked and I don't have to waste my time!
I bought an apex lcd tv on black friday. And three month later my tv went out and the manufacture will not fix the tv . they keep telling me to call back in two weeks. I called the target warranty office they wont fix the tv because its stll under the manufacturers warranty. So I am angry I have no tv and target keeps telling me will will call you back and stalling me out to. Overall if the manufacture is not doing thier part it falls on the shoulders of target and they are just as bad. dont buy any apex electronics from Target. You will be stuck if the item is defective. My picture tube zapped out after three months of me purchasing the tv. Its been two month I have yet to recieve a shipping label and box for my tv to be fixed or replace. Dont buy nothing from the electronics department at Target
Greatings, I am currently a service member in the United States Army and usually a proud former Team Member of Target at store T0774 in Joplin, MO. I am currently stationed at Fort Carson, CO where there are many Target Stores in the local area. There is one store in particular that my wife and I have been having problems with during our visits to the target store located at 355 N. Academy blvd, in Colorado Springs. This afternoon, my wife made a visit to this Target store and attempted to make a purchase of a certain brand of baby sun lotion of which there was a deal that was displayed in the Target sales ad and on the shelf of that particular item. When my wife was checking out at the front lanes, there was a problem with the item not coming up the proper sale (something to the effect of "buy two and receive a ten dollar target gift card"). Instead of that team member attempting to fix the issue, she dismissed it as a mis-print in the ad and refused to provide adequate service to my wife. My wife then asked for a manager. At that time a Team leader (I assume the GSTL) responded and stated the same thing as the team member and refused to go check for the sale item or to call for another Team Member to check. After my wife was done checking out, she went back to the sign, removed it from its location and presented it to the Team Member and demaded for her ten dollar gift card. Instead of correcting the issue at hand, the Team Member protested and said something to the effect of: Ma'am, you cannot remove the sign (in an unpleasant tone). After a brief argument, the Team Leader dismissed the issue and said something to the effect of: just give it to her. Even though my time working for Target was a brief time, it is my understanding that the misconduct of those team members is unacceptable, does not adhere to the mission that Target aspire to complete, and shoes bad reflection upon all Target stores throughout the United States. Having working the front lanes before, I understand that work and be tiresome and stressful, but that is up to the GSTL and STL to ensure that the team members receive an adequate amount of rest during the shift. Understanding that we are human and make mistakes, there is still no excuse for the maltreatment of Target Guests. Now the question remains, what is Target going to do to correct this situation and ensure that situations like this are mitigated? Feel free to e-mail me at t_hudson2@hotmail.com
Hello, I was a loyal customer to target purchasing groceries and other goods. One day I made my way to the starbucks operated by the target employees seeing the wait of the line I made my way to the electronics Department. While looking at the items a Lady from the Starbucks section of the store confronts me about an issue pertaining to her employees. She stated 2 of her employees felt threatened by me. After stating that she then stated things I have stated to them which were inaccurate. I then told her to get the hell away from me and proceeded to shop. A few minutes after the Store manager confronts me in a very friendly manner I then proceeded to ask her whats going on. I have stated I vaguely knew one of the workers from starbucks and a few days prior she had asked for my personal email address and phone number, I also stated that from that point I had no contact from her except from the first the contact she made with me asking for personal information, at that moment I noticed a look of shock from her From there we proceeded to customer service so I could have the district managers number she was very hesitant on me having that information she gave me a paper with a number for customer service and escorted me out for no apparent reason. From there we talked for a few minutes, I told her this was crazy and I'm a loyal customer I was shocked on what had just happened. From there I called the nearest Target for the district office number and made a complaint, from there the district managers assistant called the manager to at the target I was escorted from to check on the status if i was able to shop there anymore. She stated she would call me back on that and about 20 minutes later received a call from the district managers secretary stated I was banned from that store. I was not disappointed due to the embarrassment of being escorted out for no apparent reason. After about 30 minuets having no idea how my personal phone number got to the Head security officer at target I received a phone call stating something that was told to me almost an hour ago about being banned from target. I will never shop at target and I could never believe something like that could happen at a store that I shop at. I've Been a Marine for 8 year's I'm a very respected person of society its pitiful how I put my life on the line for this country and cant even shop and have something like this happen to me or anyone for that matter. I recently had $600 worth of charges on my capitol one debit card from Target in Torrington Connecticut. When I went to my bank I fouund out that I was not the only one, Numerous customers had their credit card compromised. I would like to know why there are no postings anywhere warning consumers of this. I know for a fact that it was not only Capitol One but other bank cards that were compromised, so the problem lies with Target.SHAME ON YOU TARGET FOR NOT PUTTING OUT WARNINGS.
Hate Target. I personally have had too many bad customer service experiences to ever shop there again. I haven't been there in more then a year. What's up with the political agenda? How does Target benefit from the MN. Governor?
To everyone beotching about who they sent money to STFU! Who the hell are you to tell a corporation where to spend their money? Seriously, get over yourselves! Go shop at Walmart where you are stupid enough to buy substandard products, and donate in their charity boxes so they claim your money as their donation! Nothing like deliberately being stupid and allowing yourselves to be taken advantage of lmao! But hey, its your money, just like its theirs!
I went to Target on 04/17/11. I first went to Stage Clothing Store which is in the same strip area as target. Since gas is so high in my area I walked the few yards from Stage to Target. When I left the store with my purchase I could not get the shopping cart to my car because the wheels of the cart locked once you get pass a certain point. The good news is that your precious shopping cart is still safe and sound. The bad news is that you lost a sale and a customer. After fighting with the cart to get it back in the store I returned eveerything I purchased. I will never shop at Target again.
Target Atascocita, Humble, Tx 281-318-2237 Store Manager:Dave Barton I have repeatedly informed this store their lack of changing prices of items discounted to reflect the registers price. I have had to return too the store numerous times standing waiting in line at returns to recieve the discount I was intitled,at times having to go back through the store and retrieve the discount tags proving their mistakes. I've always spoke to a manager except first time which they always state they will take care of the problem, and that leads me to here. I'm sorry there is no excuse for at least 4 to 5 times a month returning or catching at register mistakes that are easily handled if the management were doing their jobs for the exact same problem I'm beginning to believe these are not mistakes.I will continue shopping at Target, but at others.
On Saturday 4/9/11, I went to the Super Target in Denton, TX to buy my usual weekly supplies. When I got home I was disappointed to discover the 'Riverview Organics' tomatoes, which were wrapped in plastic and the only organic choice, were moldy. Next time I will think twice before purchasing my groceries at Target. clearlyhear@yahoo.com
I placed an order. MINUTES after placing the order I clicked the link to cancel it. I was unable to do so. I called customer service MINUTES after placing the order on a SUNDAY morning and was told there was nothing they could do. Becaue the item was in stock that it processes immediately they were unable to cancel it. The item was being shipped to another persons address in another part of the state I so it isn't like I can simply return it when it arrives. I asked to speak to the persons supervisor. I received a call back from someone named Claudia claiming to be a supervisor. She was borderline rude and her attitude was palpable. She said there was nothing they could do and to call my bank and have then stop authorization on the payment, then target wouldnt send the items and I wouldn't be billed. I called my bank who said customer service people know better and the woman just wanted to get me off the phone. I then called my mother, who works in customer service for another well known company, who explained what a hassle it is to stop an order like this and explained all the many ways they have to stop such orders. MINUTES after ordering it was unable to cancel the order. Unacceptable.
I went to target at 8:45am on a Saturday morning to pick u some items before heading to work. I am dressed in a suit, heels, pantyhose and wanted to try on a few bathing suits as I'm heading out on vacation. I wanted to take in more than 6 items into the dressing room. The attendent would not let me so I asked for a manager. She denied me as well. If the store wants to sell clothing than they should get with the times and realize that people like to make educated decisions about trying on items before purchasing and like to take in a lot of items due to there inconsistant sizing. They really need to offer some flexibility if they want to sell clothing. Why then waste the space in the store for all those clothes?
I would like to take this time to file a complaint against the Target store located in San Pedro, CA. My fiancee and I were there this past Mother's day to pick up her presriptions, one being for her heart pressure. We thought everything was fine until she noticed the next day that she was shorted 60 pills. Th presription was for 90 pills. This was not he only time. This has happened on two other occations. I am thoroughly pissed off. What if we were on vacation and she suffered a heart attack. What if she did not notice at all. Plus, on her first visit to this pharmacy they asked her if she wanted to be put on the automatic refil list and she said yes. Well, on every visit since then they asked the same question. Why was it not done the first time. I want some answers....
