bought a bicycle at Champlin target, didn't even have it for 24 hours and was only ridden around the block. the bike seemed to be a little small for the person we bought it for. we took the bike back to that target and they said they would not exchange it for a larger size. the lady at the service counter was extremely rude, so rude that i will never go back to that store again. i always shop at target and have never had a problem or been treated in such a manner.

I bought at Target for the first time several years ago, although I forget the location of that store. I had bought a portable tape player (Walkman style) and batteries. The machine did not work and I took it back, fully expecting a battle-but they took it back and refunded my money, no questions asked! The people I see at the Millville, NJ, location are very friendly. Don't give in to the hateful Liberal groups-keep supporting Conservatives!

I was looking to purchase an outdoor gazebo from Target. On Saturday June 4, 2011 I visited 3 local Target stores who were out of stock on this item. I asked if they could check other stores and was told that they were unable to and I would need to do my own research finding the item. I came home, looked on line and found a 4th store close to my home. I called and was told that they had one. I asked if the could hold it for me as I would be in within 1/2 an hour. They said they couldn't so my wife and I took a ride over to the store only to find out that it was not the one I asked about. This customer service was very helpful and checked another store 45 minutes from my house and they had a total of 8 available. The Next day Sunday 6/5/11 I called this store at 9:30 am to find out if they had them in stock. I was told that they had 9 pieces, so off my wife & I went on a 45 minute ride only to find out that they really only had 1 and it had been sold earlier that morning. I was told I could order it on line at Target.com which I did and i'm being charged $69.99 for shipping (it's like highway robbery without a gun). I spoke to a supervisor at Target. com and was told that they have nothing to do with Target that they are a separate entity. WHAT A SCAM. I ordered the gazebo anyway as I wanted it for the summer shade. but I will never shop at Target again even if the merchandise was free.I would reccommend to anyone who buys from Target to be very careful and shop around to a more accommodating store who doesn't pull a bate & switch. How many innocent people out there know that Target & Target.com are a separate entity?

Heres a story for you about how poor Targets servive truly is not just here but in other states also. About 7 months ago what I thought was a good sale went on for a 26" LCD TV went on sale with a built in TV at Target, well all our stores were old out, so I was told the only ones that had any were in Nashville TN, I live in KY and thats about 3 hours from me. So i thought it was a good deal and I planned on having it for a long time, I mean I dont buy a new TV EVER so I called the store that had it and asked them to hold it for me. I drove there, well when I get there guess what, the rocket scientists they are said they couldnt hold it because it was a sale item, and they dont know who told me that,so of course I was in amazement. Well there happen to be a target about 30 minutes from there and they had 1 left, so yes I flew there and got it. Finally, I drove back home, now another 1/2 hour to the 3 hours. I get home and plus this P.O.S in and guess what, it DOES NOT WORK. Can you belive it, because if it didnt hapeen to me, i wouldnt even believe it. So the next day lucky me get to dive 35 minutes to my Target where of course likethey sai in the begining they had no more and of course they didnt know when they would be getting any. And guess what, there was nothing even similar even close to th same price. So i could get a smaller TV that you could hardly even see or no DVD player in it which is why I drove 7 hours yesterday and over another hour today, and all for nothing. So this isnt even the good part yet, I got married on May 9 2011 and FINALLY I got the 26" TV with built in DVD player as one of our wedding gifts. It is now June 2nd 2011 not even a month later, and low and behold never fails the DVD starts not working right about a week ago. It keeps ejecting the DVDS and spinning without playing. I have the box, foam, manuals EVERYTHING, so I go today not even a mo

Their "red card" is a predatory practice to lure customers into continuing fees. Don't do it!

THE MANAGER WAS NOT IN THE STORE, THE ASSISTAND GIRL NAMED MELODY WIGGINS SAID THEY WERE ON THE FLOOR, OR IN PARKING LOT. NO ONE MAY AN ATTEMPT TO GET ME A CART. THIS IS TOTALLY UNEXCETABLE. THE DISABLITY ACT SAYS ALL ELECTRIC CARTS SHOULD BE USALLY ALL THE TIME. IFIND THIS A DISGRACE FOR THE DISABLE AND U SHOUD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. FROM A LOVING MOTHER.

I just went through the most amazing experience I think I have ever been through in witnessing the complete lack of moral character and ethics a company can demonstrate. I went into the North Glen Burnie, Maryland Target Pharmacy this last Friday to refill some of my prescriptions just like I have been doing for the last 3 years. I usually wait till I am in dire need of refilling due to my insurance plan requiring that and the high cost of drugs, even with that coverage. It has been a real challenge to go to the store to do this, until recently, due to my health condition. I have been dealing with 3 degenerative bone disorders that have changed my life into a living nightmare for the last 7 years. At times it took over an hour to just get my power wheelchair out of the van and drive it into the pharmacy to even get medicine. For over 2 years, until a few months ago, I have been told by my doctors if I get in a car or try moving around in the power chair I was at risk of breaking every bone in my body that wasn’t broken already. My left leg, hips and feet already had multiple fractures and complete breaks in them. The pain I dealt with has been unbelievable, but I had good reason to want to go through all of that to get to this pharmacy. For the last 6 or 7 years I have traveled to wherever I had to, to see a particular pharmacist, who is also the pharmacy manager. His name is Bruce and he has become more than a friend to me. He has helped to such a large degree in my getting better, not just on a medical advisory level, but as a friend, with sound advice anytime I needed it. I have lost count how many times he walked with me to my car just to be sure I got there okay. My medical story does get better. I should still be in a wheelchair and remain there till I die, which would have been fairly soon. Well, I started walking a few months ago without risk, and continue to beat the odds. Well, I say all of that to say this. Last Friday I found out Bruce was fired by his relatively new boss for forgetting to set the alarm in the pharmacy 4 times over the last 3 years. I guess that could be a problem by the sound of it. Drugs all of a sudden open to the public just waiting around to get them, to then go out and sell them on the street. Problem is, Bruce was the last to leave in an already closed store after lowering the steel door to the pharmacy and locking it, to then exit the already securely locked and protected store. On top of that a camera monitors all movement inside the locked pharmacy should anybody somehow get past the steel gate. Then, on top of that, Bruce would get a call 10 minutes or so after he left that the pharmacy alarm did not set. All he had to do was go ahead and set it. The day his new boss arrived on the seen she started a campaign to get rid of him by constantly challenging his judgment and constructive comments. She would tell him that’s how you will get fired, by thinking his advice or ideas were better than what management could offer, which they never did. Problem with that is this particular pharmacist has increased the business of any store he has worked for over his long career including tripling Target’s business in his 3 years there. When he has left a store the business then drops to pre-Bruce levels again, never to return. So now he has been fired and he was individually responsible for tripling their business and putting the store in the top 100 stores in the country and never once was he given any praise for that. By the way, a pharmacy customer buys stuff in the store at more than 4 times that of a non-pharmacy customer. So maybe you can see why I will NEVER shop at a Target store for anything ever again the rest of my, now, long life. Any group of horrible management that thinks so little of its patrons to act in this manner unchecked does not deserve any business from me or all the people I can influence, and believe me I will influence a lot of people for some time to come. Just a final foot note. This boss that fired Bruce has also lost several other managers. What a great job she must be doing and Target could care less. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. Target does not have much control or they just don’t care how management in the stores conduct themselves. Well, there are a lot of other great places to shop that do care.

I just had a baby shower for my daughter she was registered at target she recieved many duplicate and even triple on some things we went to target today to return 3 of the same swings she recieved at the shower we did not have the reciepts i did not thinkit would be an issue i cannot believe your policy and i was told without the reciept you can only return one item up to 70 dollars and you cannot return anything else for a year never have i heard of something so rediculous, my niece is also having a baby her shower will be in july and No Target will not be one of the places she registers so be very careful when you register for anything at TARGET they obviously dont tell the enployees that when someone uses the baby registry that they have to take it off so no one else gets the same everyone i spoke to told the cashier the name and was supposed to check it off and obviously did not TARGET is not a place i will chose to shop at in the future your return policy is the most rediculous, and you dont train your emloyees very well

I ordered a Black and Decker covection oven and 6 slice toaster from target.com for a wedding present. I was gived a delievery date of sometime between 5/19/11 and 5/26/11. I later received an email that said the item would be late. I did not cancel the order, as I assumed the item would be delievered. The item never came. Instead I received an email on 5/27 telling me they cancelled the order. I called target.com and found the item was out of stock. I was offered a 10.00 gift certificate for the incovenience, as long as I substitute a different item, for the purchase. They don't get it, I bought this item as a wedding gift, as my relative was registered on target.com. It was this item she wanted, not something else. It is nothing like ordering a gift, given a promised date, then the item doesn't arrive for the wedding, that I traveled to and attended. I did not have a gift to give, how embarassing this was. It is nothing like saying the item is in the mail, then it does not come. When I asked for a supervisor to complain about the service, all I got was someone from India, who sounded like they were reading off a card. I always loved Target and their service, until now. Target's site should never have allowed me to order something, that was not in stock. I will never use target.com again. Let consumer's beware, you order something on target for a gift, there is a real good chance that it maybe out of stock and your gift will never be delievered. Target.com lets their customers down, big time. Amazon.com here I come, because they take care of their customers. If it is not in stock, their software will not let you order it. They also give better service.

Target.com allows a customer to order an item that is out of stock. They will allow you to wait 2 weeks, then they cancel your order without telling you why. Beaware consumers, if this item is a gift, it will not get there. How embarrassing it is, to order an item on their bridal registry, then travel across the country to attend the wedding, then find out the item is not delievered. I had no gift to give at the Wedding! When I said it was in the mail, it in fact never got there. What a horrible way to run a business.

I had problems with a store today and noticed that it's almost impossible to comment to Target about it. Their web site is geared toward people who order online from them, and when I called one of the phone numbers listed (they didn't list any e-mails), I was transferred around by a horrible automated menu, and then I was hung up on by someone who wouldn't even answer the phone. I heard background noise, and then a hangup, no chance to even tell them what was going on. So I called again and was transferred to someone in India who seemed to think I was talking about an online transaction. I finally got through to someone by trying the numbers on this page, but the first time they were going to make me use the same phone menu that leads to India, so I called back and used a different menu option. It was nasty, just to tell them about a few problems with a local store. I'm really soured on shopping at Target again, it's pretty obvious that they don't want feedback from their customers.

I love Target stores - however I hate their registries. My daughter is getting married & registered 1 of her places at target. I went shopping Sunday, bought 2 gifts. I pulled up registry today (2 days later) and they are still on registry, never taken off. I did call & had them removed. but I should not have to do that. I saw the man scan the paper and yet it did not come off. That is just so wrong that a company as big as yours can't figure how to remove items off a registry. This is not the first time this happened. It happened 2 other times & I get so frustrated. I wish my daughter will just cancel the whole registry at target. If she gets lots of doubles I am going to be furious & write a letter to our local Pittsburgh Paper to let everyone know the incompetency of your store. I WANTED TO PURCHASE 10 FOLDING CHAIRS TONIGHT AT TARGET IN THE METAIRIE, La store so i called and was put on hold for a very long time and then transfered and then it put me back to the other person who 1st answered the phone and they tranfered me again and a lady answered and I told her what I was looking to purchase but, I wanted to make sure the amount was in stock at the store before I left my home. I was placed on hold again and for a long time and then I was disconnected and was not called back. I had called back and asked for a store manager or supervisor and they did it again put me on hold for a long time and then came back on the phone without a manager or supervisor and stated they are trying to find a mgr. I was put on hold again and after a good while I hung up and now I am purchasing my 10 folding chairs at walmart since they answered me and was very nice and very helpful and did not put me on hold for a long time and DID NOT HANG UP ON ME TWO TIMES.

Hello Target Headquarters, I live in Columbia, Maryland and went to the pharmacy, Wednesday May 11th to pick up a prescription I had phoned in to the Target Pharmacy, at 6111 Dobbin Road Columbia, Md 21045. I was given two different bottles of a persciption. It had been filled, although, I declined to take the two different perscriptions. (I was not sure if they were the same products). I asked if the pharmacist could she give me a perscription of the same pills, that was given to me, the first time I had the prescription filled. An Indian lady, who is the pharmacist, said she would not! Therefore, I transfered the perscription to another pharmacy. Unfortunately, this other pharmacy's prescription was too expensive and they did not have the same brand of pill. So, I went back to the Target store, where the same Indian lady said she would not give me the perscription that was already filled for me. I do not want to see my insurance company billed for a perscription that I did not received. I would like for someone from your headquarters to check into this matter, if possible. Is someone at the Target pharmacy here, keeping the prescription that is already filled for me, for themself? (A weight loss drug). Thank you for your speedy attention regarding this matter. You can contact me a tealewis@hotmail.com Sincerely, Marian White-Lewis

Normally, I would rate Target at least 4 Stars, but today I had a less than pleasant experience at the Target Jacksonville West, 904-248-4366, on Old Middleburg Road, in Jacksonville, FL. There was only two registers open on a Sunday at 11:00AM which is totally unsatisfactory to carry the number of people waiting in line. I was behind seven other carts full of groceries, etc. After I spent about 10 minutes or so in line, I checked out and proceeded to the customer service desk and politely told the young lady that I wasn't sure that she was the person that I should be talking to, but that there were additional cashiers needed as only two were available. She told me, "I know, we have some coming up from the back of the store. No, I am sorry or anything else, just a sort of smark aleck response. I used to buy almost all my groceries at Target, but I don't think I will be doing that anymore. Customer service really needs to be addressed as a simple I am sorry for your wait would have made all the difference in the world.

I went to use my target card and had a large amount of purchases to make. I went to check out and they said my card would not work. I was not offered any alternate option, except to use another card. They would not try to get the card to work or manually enter it. I left $300 in products there. They were totally NOT helpful.

I am a faithful Target shopper, I use many coupons and each trip. Today I was treated very rudely at your Rancho Cordova, Ca store. I purchased 6 old spice body washes. I had 6 $1 off one, and 3 buy one get one free manufactor coupons. I was informed by a cashier and her supervisor that I could not use the 6 target coupons, because I had 3 buy one get one manucfactoring coupon, he said that because I got 3 free he did not have to honor the other 3. I showed him a copy of your policy, he said so what, and refused to listen and just walked away so I had to pay more than I was supposed to. He made me feel like I was trying to be dishonest and I was not he was just confused about coupons and did not want to admit it.

TI went to the orem Utah super target. On may 11; 2011 at 7:30 at night just to get a few things. I use a lot of coupons. I was in the women's clothing area clearance. I found about 10 cute shirts I would like to purchase. They were all plus size which were 2 x . Then got some food and a full cart of things. Then I went to check out oh by the way the 2x shirts were about 3.76 a piece. Ok so checking out my cashier was fernado Mexican. He was really nice at first then when he was done scanning all the items. I gave him my coupons. He hesitated. Then started being very rude some would not scan. He needed to put them in manually. Then the coupons for my 10 plus size shirts which were 3.00. Off any plus size apperal. Then he told me 2x was not plus size. Then I freaked out he said I can't take these coupons. I said get the manager. So he did and his name is Andy. Andy came over and said no we can't take these coupons. There not plus size. Ok so I said what is plus size in your opinion. He said it's over in that section. Ok I got my shirts in the section he pointed to but still said that they would take my coupons and the manager. Just left didn't say sorry was very rude Andy needs to be firedand so does fernado no customer service at all plus there putting target for fraud. Why have targ
