i would like to know why target store 1453 in athens ga cant get their coupon policy straight. the other day they say not more then 3 coupons even if i have bought 10 items and have 10 coupons. but yet when i look up target coupon policy that it not what it says. why is this the only target not allowing us to use all our coupons ?????
I am so fed up with how many times I hear an employee curse with kids around, how many times i've received a frozen soft pretzel from the snack counter and how many times employees have been downright jerks to me, my family and friends. Your stuff lacks quality, your employees should be taught a leasson and you have lost another customer. I will make sure to tell everyone I know about the horrible experiences I have had at your stupid store.
I purchased a carriage for my daughter On July 26th. I looked in the circular and the same carraige is on sale for 160.00. I paid 185. The carriage is brand new and I am saving it for her and giving it to her for her shower in october. I called the Manahawkin store and explained that I was aware that I could only get a adjustment within 2 weeks of purchase, but I technically can return the item and repurchase it which is the same thing!! My receipt states I have till october 24th to return the purchase. I tried to contact a manager to see if she would just make the adjustment and not let me bring in the carriage again since I am keeping the same carriage. The sales girl paged the manager Melissa two times to which she didnt even pick up the page!!!! This is very poor customer service. I then called corporate and spoke to a Amy and she stated that If I returned the carriage they would have to inspect it and I would not be able to repurchase it or it might be sold to someone else...This is a load of BS. It seems that they are trying their best to discourage me from getting the sale price. Ps I didnt buy this on a markdown, I paid full price and I feel I should get the sale price. Especially since the receipt states that I could physically return it by october 24. It is the same thing as returning it or getting a adjustment, the only difference is that I wouldnt have to bring the carriage back in and it would be a very nice customer service to me.
I presented to customer service with my receipt dated 7-25-11 on 8-16-11 to get a credit on a refridgerator I bought for my daughter for college as the "lowest price of the season". Well imagaine my surprise when in this week's sale ad starting 8-14-11 that is was now on sale for $30.00 cheaper and was now the "lowest price of the season." I asked for a credit and was told "no", they only price match their own ad for two weeks. I would physically have to return the fridge I got and then go back out onto the floor and by another one> WTF!!! I told them I bought the thing there why would I have to return it. I was also told I could not return the one I bought and buy that one back- had to be a completely different one. NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY!!!! I was very upset that I had to load this thing back into my SUV and haul it ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE STORE about 20 miles from my house. Totally so customer unfriendly. I will definitly rethink any future purchases from Target.
Items are advertised on-line which do not have full descriptions of the products. The person I spoke with at Target did not have the information either. Many reasons are floating through my mind and all of them are not positive. Who is supplying wood furniture items to the Target exotic collection? Where is the product made? White type of finish is used? None of this information was available for items that were on-line and not in the stores. I like Target and have purchased many items there. However, I am finding more and more merchandise that is made overseas. The prices charged indicate that very little money is being paid for each item manufactured in China, VietNam, etc.
I was in your Casselberry Florida Store on 8/11/11 just before closing to pick up the last few items that was needed for my grand daughter for back to school. I returned to your store on 8/13/11 to return the notebook binder that we didn't need. My grand daugther was with me at the time. We walked into the Casselberry Target on Saturday to do a simple return and as soon as I walked into the store there was a man on the floor spread out guns drawn on him by police. This was right by the door so you really had no way to advoid this situation. I have been tramatized ever since. I really don't think that your employee's should of allowed the store to stay opened during this time. I feel someone should of been outside your store to warn customers that it is not a safe enviroment to walk into. I was scared out of my wits. What if that gun went off just as we walked in I would hate to think that I or my grand daughter could of been killed on that day. I most likely will not be returning to any of your stores.
I went in to target today with my daughter and 3 small grandchildren after being in there for about 3 minutes came upon a Target in employee watching some guy cause he was trying to steal cds..well I told the Loss prevention guy (Garrett, Target employee)...that he was way to obvious and he might want to remove the name tag that said target and his name, well he was looking like a fool running an ducking behind counters an racks and such that my daughter and I couldnt help but laugh...even other employees were laughing....anyways then he started following us...yup us...which would be fine except we werent doing anything wrong sure we traveled the same spot several times but how many people have a 3 yr old and how many times do u have to stop doing what u r doing only to take them to the potty....well anyways he had the audacity to be standing in front of the registers waiting for us after following us around the store for a good hour...yes we saw him peeking at us my daughter even went and told him he sucked at this ( she got annoyed )...anyways he was up there with the local police and asked my daughter for the receipt as we were trying to exit...well he watched me pay and I placed the receipt in my wallet and I held up my hand and said I have the rceipt..he came and looked and said have a nice day...arrrrrrrrrrrrrgh and the my daughter again tried to exit and the police officer held up his hand and said wait a minute...looked at Target employee for affrimation that it was ok for us to leave.....we did nothing wrong but because we called him out in efforts only to help him cuz he sux at this he had to embarrass us...this is not the last they will hear from me... I am soooooo done with target.........
I was just reading the story Allan Gerlat wrote for the July 2011 edition of Waste Age, the Solid Waste Industries’ Publication, entitled On Target. I am fortunate to have a new P Store near my home in Little Rock, Arkansas. The grant opening was last fall before the Christmas Holiday. On my very first visit last year I asked the floor manager where the recycling bins for customers were located. The traditional store in West Little Rock has them up front and center for customers to drop materials into. She looked around and could not locate the bins and preceded to tell me they had not received them, cool, I understood with so much going on for the grant opening. I watched for the bins after the first of the year to arrive up front in view of the customer. I asked again and yes they had arrived but I could not see them as I entered the store so I was taken to the location, hidden between the rows of shopping carts and the wall of the check-out stand, not a convenient place for customer participation. I suggested they find a visible spot and clearly mark them with overhead signage so customers can participate. Sadly I was in the store shopping Saturday evening around 9:30 and I step back behind the check-out booth wall and there the bins stood covered in hangers, boxes and some kind of trash bags, nothing promoting customer participation; not at all a good statement of sustainability. I am fortunate to be the Recycling Coordinator for the State of Arkansas, employed by the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality and I have been in the back of several Target locations around the state and applaud the strong efforts for recycling and proper waste reduction along with your energy conservation measures. Can you possibly move the customer recycling bins to the front of the store for good exposure and usage? Thanks for listens Robert Hunter ADEQ hunter@adeq.state.ar.us
I BOUGHT SOME ITEMS OFF THE TARGET.COM SITE ONE SAID I COULD RETURN IN STORE ONE DID NOT SAY ANYTHING SO I TOOK BOTH ITEMS WHICH WEIGHED BTWN 35-45 LBS TO THIER STORE WITH THE HELP OF A FRIEND AS I HAVE A NERVE JOINT IMMUNE DISEASE WHICH MAKES IT RATHER PAINFUL NOW TO HANDLE LARGE ITEMS...GOT TO THE STORE AND THEY WOULD TAKE BACK THE ONE ITEM BUT NOT THE OTHER I SAID THERE IS NO STATEMENT TELLING ME ITS UNRETURNABLE AT THE STORE PLEASE CALL YOUR DM AND HAVE THEM OVERRIDE THIS... THE GUY AT THE SERVICE DESK SAID HE WOULD NOT AND I SAID HAVE YOUR DM CALL ME THE NEXT DAY WHICH HE DID NOT DO THEN I FIND OUT HE WASNT EVEN THE MANAGER I LEFT BOTH ITEMS AT THE STORE AND AM FILING A SMALL CLAIMS SUIT.
I will never again place an order on-line with Target! My order was placed on June 16th, 2011 and I have grown tired of waiting to receive it. After five phone calls, over the course of fifty-two (52) days, I canceled my order. Before canceling my order I asked if I could order a different item but was told that was not an available option. Really! I would think that Target would do its best to accommodate my situation. After all, my order should have only taken twelve-days at most to arrive. The reasoning, according to a Target-Representative, behind the extreme delay is due to a system-upgrade. Target has no way of knowing if the order has shipped, if the item is in the warehouse or if the item is available at all. Very disappointing. I should have read a couple of Target.com online reviews before placing my order. Apparently getting the run-around is common practice when dealing with Target online. Have a nice day.
Overall I enjoy shopping in target stores but recently I had a problem when I attempted to rtn an item I purchased in one of their south east sites. Simply I purchased the item via my credit card but had cancelled my card and wanted a refund in cash as opposed to the gift card they offered to return it on. I was told that no one in the company other than the CEO of the company had the authority to overide the system so that I could get my refund back in the manner which I preferred. By putting my refund on a their store gift card the company is forcing me shop at their stores which was unacceptable to me since I already paid the bill and just wanted my money back. In all my years of shopping at retail stores in person and or online I had never heard of such a thing where a company did not allow the dept. that deals directly with the customers the discretion to allow certain exceptions. That may be something the company may want to look into for those times when an exception is warranted...
the cleveland tenn target store is the biggest joke yet. items advertised on sale are not in stock and they have no way of knowing when the truck will deliver. they also they offer no appologies and you cannot find a store manager.
.67 Cents for one can of Friskies, are you kidding. What has happened to my favorate store? This week I can buy it for .50 cents a can at PetSmart, .55 cents a can at Von's market. You are not even trying to give us good deals anymore. Ever since you became Super Stores your prices on every thing are prices we can find anywhere we go, nothing specical anymore. So Sad, when we need the good deals the most you've changed more than any other store. I still love Target, it's just always disapointing now. I do respect your Political and Moral Views.
The management of employees at the Target located at 4037 Durham Chapel Hill Blvd, Durham - (919) 765-0008 should be reviewed. Employees are sitting down on stools at cash registers so it is impossible for them to reach all the items on the conveyor belt. They would not even dream of getting up off their stools to reach the items. They can't be bothered to use the shopping bags that I bring unless I insist. The employees in the snack bar are lazy and the snack bar is filthy. Fortunately the employees in the pharmacy are helpful. The returns desk and the photo center perssonel are slow to assist you. I have stood at the returns desk and watched as the person at the photo center took a personal phone conversation when she should have moved over to help at the returns desk because no one was there. The general laziness and lack of customer service at this Target is not what I am used to at my old target on Missouri Road in Largo, Florida.
I have shopped at target stores for many years, since you first opened a target in my town.(I was there on day two) I very much appreciate all the local community support you give. However, as of today you have lost my business and I will go out of my way to share my extremely poor experience with ALL who will listen. I tried to return a gazebo and gazebo cover that I purchased earlier this spring yesterday. Since you begin selling these early and last year you were sold out when I went to purchase one, I bought one in early April. Because of weather, I put it in my garage and didn't even see it again until the end of May. In May, I asked my dad to put it together- he agreed to do it while I was out of town. When I returned in Mid July- he said it was too small and he wouldn't be able to secure it to the ground- making it UNSAFE. He did not open it. I located my receipt and went to return it on July 27th. I was politely told "no returns because it was seasonal and I was past the 90 days." I called and was told over a 45 minute phone call that the best they could do was give me the name and phone number of the company who made the product and maybe they could do something about it.( WHY? what could they do? when they had never received my money?-) I would expect that the store that accepted my dollars would offer me the customer service. 96% of unhappy customers won't even bother to contact you. You are still selling- in the store and online- the product I am trying to return. I now understand that Target does not value its' customers or have any flexibility. I am sure you have my contact info from that 45 minute phone call, as I was assured that it would be communicated with you. Thank you for your time and consideration.
I realize that I am not the only customer that Target has nor do I spend the most. I do feel that my $300. a month for groceries deserves to be respected. I have complained 2 times to the manager of the Target on Pine Island Road in Cape Coral, Florida., about the rude clerk....he has giant stars on his right arm. I had him two previous times and at one of those he actually gave me my check back and said it wasn't any good. He keyed the number in wrong..duh!!! I some how got in his line again and almost left the cart of food. I thought I would give this person another chance...third times a charm. Well I was not disappointed. He jammed all of my stuff into 4 bags....crushed the chips, bent a cardboard container of soup ( almost broke it)...one bag was so heavy I could not lift it from the bag area to put in the cart. i went to talk to the manager and could not find one. I decided that it was not worth it anymore. I can not be the only person that this clerk is rude to. i have said something two times before and have decided that I can find what I need at other stores...never Target.
Because of your refusal to support our veterans in favor of the gay community that undermines American Family Values, I have chosen not to ever go into another Target Store. the local Target store is about 20 miles from my home, but I go often for one item pacific that is sold a little cheaper and I find I normally shop there when I go, but that has ceased. If TARGET cannot support American (or Canadian) Veterans, then why should my family and I support their stores by spending our hard earned American (or Canadian) dollars in their stores??? this info will be sent to Veteran's offices across America, go back to France.
If they had given $$ to an extreme left wing liberal...no one would be crying. Liberals make me sick. They try and demonize ANYONE who doesn't agree wit there views as "extremist and dangerious". Yet look at the violance at the last Republican convention. Look up who killed the almost every president...a leftiste, liberal. Who faught AGAINST giving women and African Americans the right to vote or even be freed...Democrats! When are people going to stop being sheep and actually think for themselves!
July 23, 2011 Dear Target, I love shopping at Target! I’ve been shopping at Target since the store GEMCO was around. I’m not sure if Target was once GEMCO, but if you know anything about GEMCO, then you know how long I’ve been a fan of your store. I can recall when Target was not so popular, but over the years Target has appealed to a many, including me! Target has been my store of choice since decorating my college dorm room and first apartment, purchasing items for my third grade classroom and registering items for my baby shower. My three year old daughter can recognize a Target store when she sees one and she loves shopping with mommy, especially if we’re in the dollar section. I’m however sad to share that yesterday Friday, July 22, 2011 at 12:58 PM I had an awful shopping experience at a Target store in Norfolk, Virginia (Military Hwy). This incident was the first negative experience I’ve ever had at Target. On Friday, July 22, 2011 at 12:58 PM a female security guard approached me as I was leaving the store and asked to see my receipt. I immediately retrieved two receipts from my purse to show her. While the lady was checking over my receipts I asked her if checking a customer’s receipt was protocol and or normal. She said yes. While she was matching items in my cart with my receipt, she asked if the bin underneath the shopping cart was 56qt. I said yes. All of the items I bought were bagged except the large sized bin. The cashier did not bag the item or place a sticker stating it was paid for like a many stores do with big items. I’ve also purchased large bins in the past and not once has a Target employee or security guard asked to see my receipt. Target, this occurrence caught me off guard because I’ve been buying large sized bins for storage ever since I went off to college in 1991 and for our moves every three years because that’s what military families do. I would also like to mention that the demeanor of the security guard toward me was not pleasant for this woman made me feel as if I had done something wrong. Once I had left the store I asked a few customers who were right behind me if they were asked to show a receipt and they all said no. So why was I singled out. It felt like profiling. Now Target, I’m not one to speak of discrimination, but yesterday I felt oddly uncomfortable by this security guard. I had planned on letting this situation go but I felt it was within my right to notify management of my experience so I called the store and spoke with a woman by the name of Megan in HR, shortly after the incident. Megan in my opinion did not handle my concern with patience or concern for the customer. One such reason for my conclusion was how she didn’t answer a question I asked of her which led me to believe she was either not listening or did not take my concern into consideration. When I spoke to Megan I was kind and voiced my disappointment in a civil way. I was not angry with anyone I just felt that my being asked to show a receipt was odd because in all the years of shopping at Target I’ve never once been asked to show one. I distinctly recall asking Megan if there was sign in the store that states a customers could be asked to show receipt of purchase upon exiting the store. Her answer was, “I cannot write anything down for you.” She did not answer my question. I did not ask her to write something down for me, I asked her if Target had a sign in the store that states a customer could be asked to show receipt of purchase upon exiting the store. She then stated that Target could randomly select persons if need be, and if an item was not bagged Target could ask a customer to show a receipt. I get the part of an item not being bagged and being checked, but I also believe that it is Targets responsibility to put a bright color tag/sticker indicating that an item was purchased. I also feel that Target should post a sign stating that it has the right to check receipts upon leaving. Costco, BJ’s, and Sam’s Club, ask to see receipts before leaving their store. Matter of fact these stores have a sign that states this policy and cashiers at these stores often (if they remember) tell paying customers to keep their receipts out. I also want to make aware to you that when I called Guest Relations ( 1-800 440- 0680) to voice my Target experience on Friday, July 22, 2011 the woman who took my call and documented my concerns hastily hung up on me so as to not let me say anything else. This gesture really bothered me, so I called guest relations back and spoke with a, Nivey who apologized on behalf of Target for my being hung up on. Target, I want to continue shopping at your store. Shopping at Target makes me happy because there are so many wonderful items to look at and buy, but I hope that someone from your corporation contacts me as a gesture of appreciation for the thousands of dollars I’ve spent at your stores over the years. If not, then I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Unfriendly store in Fargo. 1. Uniformed guard by door. Why? 2. When you run out of items there are no rainchecks. Just a flat-eyed stare from clerk who sighs too much. 3. Store aisles too small for HUGE carts. 4. Starbucks area is behind the cashiers but really who gets a coffee when they leave. 5. No in store helpers and if there are they scatter when customers approach. 6. No in store sale flyers just one behind glass up on the entryway wall. I do not have a photographic memory. 7. Aisles littered with clothing that fell off the racks. This was on a Monday. 8. How can i help you make a nice store or does anyone want to help me start a great store!
