I was shopping in your store in Napa, Ca today & upon checkout I was asked for I.D. as I had purchased 2 bottles of wine. I thought the checker was joking, as I am on the long side of 80 years old, alas She was not kidding. I would like to know the origin of this policy & the name of the JACKASS that instigated it. I had the same experience at a Rite-Aid store a while back, but they seem to have dropped the policy. I'm sure this is an embarrassment to your personnel to have to ask a stupid question when the purchaser is old enough to be their (employee)grans father. I shop weekly at Target & enjoy doing so. Would appreciate your comments on the origin of this policy. If it came from the Calif. legislature I could understand the idiocy of it. Thank you, Lou Sylvestri Sonoma, Ca
I was at the Target store in High point on 11-6-11 around 4:00 and was about to make photos like I have done for the pass couple of years, and a supervisor came up to the photo worker and told her the head person said shut down photo lab and go on a register. Well the worker said I have guest and the supervisor said you are needed on the register I am just telling you want the head person told me. Well the nice worker said sorry If you are doing one hour it will not print cause I have to shut down. I could not use the instant printer because it did not read my usb so I had to leave. This is so unfair cause I have seen this worker work more than one position at one time and if target is saving money by making there worker work photo lab, cashier and guest service in one shift well this will only make there workers not want to work for them and the lady in Photo has been there for years and has helped me with a smile everytime. Sad to say but I will not go to Walmart cause Target has nicer people but this treatment has to stop or you might lose a guest for good
This is the second negative experience i have had with ordering from your website. My most recent order i placed on 11/03/2011 today 11/06/2011 i get a email stating We just found out about an unexpected delay that affects your order (Order #*********) placed on 11/03/2011. We're sorry, but we may not be able to deliver your item(s) by the estimated delivery date you received with your original order. New estimated delivery date(s) are included below. You will not be charged for any items until they ship. If items need to be shipped separately, your shipping charges will not increase. The delayed items will be automatically shipped to you if they become available before the new estimated delivery date. No longer want the delayed items? Visit the order detail page to cancel the items if they haven't already shipped. We're sorry for the inconvenience and we will get the items to you as quickly as we can. Thanks for shopping at Target. Team Target Ok fine i'll just go to the website and cancel but things can be this simple at Target.com like they are at Amazon.com. I go to the website sign into my account and guess what it still says not shipped i look for the cancel button i search every where possible on the site and i mean every where no cancel button. I get Targets customer service number and i dreed calling the number because of a previous bad experience trying to cancel an order.I then call get the run around as expect can not cancel my order and the rep refuses to put a supervisor on the phone along with hold time up to 20 minutes. This is totally unacceptable and i will never shop Target or Target.com again.
I went to the website shortly after receiving your email saying there will be a delay in shipping but found nowhere to cancel. Called customer service and they could not cancel the items but you seem to have already deducted funds from my banking account. This is the second problem i have had with ordering from your website having to cancel and getting poor customer service and or receiving items in less then a timely maner. I feel your website has a major flaw with no cancel button and your customer service reps disgusting to say the least.
We live in the land of the free. Why you ask because of our Veterans. You do not allow the swinging of the bells, Toys for Tots, and as far as I can tell don't give back to the communities. The traditions of service, god and men, only conclude the all mighty dollar. You procede to monopolize on Christmas before the halloween season is over. Yet there is no more ringing of the bells or giving to the children. Sorry my family, Veterans, and children are way more important to me. I will not step into a Target again where the mighty dollar is more important than our country, family and freedom.
went on target page and was told i was the winner of a gift card for eock hill today, i filled out the survey, but it kept saying wrong information on address and phone number, i put it in several times, my husband put the information in and it still wouldnt accept it. i got a txt to go to this website (www.100cardNOW.com to recieve a 100 dollar gift card only to find out its a Target credit card no gift card, just wondering why this happened. all false information from Target
I help families with best priced items in their local area, I was in our local Target a few weeks back and I have been asked if they were putting their market pantry turkey breast back on sale for the holiday . They were small and priced at 98 cents a pound they were perfect for small families. I could not find one employee who knew what I was talking about. The 3 I saw laying in the bin were huge old freezer burn with holes in the wrapper, someone should looking into cleaning up the meat areas.
I love the women's Merona slacks with a 2 inch hem. This hem allows tall women, like me, to let down the hem. I can actually purchase pants at normal prices, and even on sale, and make them long enough by letting out the generous hem on the legs.
THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! NEVER again!.
We needed 10, 60 watt light bulbs & 2 3/way bulbs. We are Minnesota residents, wintering in Mes, Az. I try to buy MADE IN THE USA! No such luck with light bulbs. My comment to clerks & customers was " If it were'nt for China & Mexico we'd be in the dark"! You carry only GE & Phillips light bulbs. Sylvania light bulbs are made in the GOOD OLD USA! So I stopped over at K-Mart & yes they carry Sylvania & even cheaper. Guess where I purchased my light bulbs? My advice is to start promoting "MADE IN THE USA"! Virgil Linn Alexandria, Mn. Good Morning, I have been a loyal customer, but no more!!! My husband, son are veterans and so was my dad. Your treatment of veterans "Toys for Tot"s, etc. have caused me to rethink my shopping preferences so with all the stores out there - "I will no longer be shopping at Target". It was your decision that caused my decision.
I recently shopped at Target.com I placed my order thinking it was agood deal. I received my email from them with the order summary saying it should arrive within a week. The week went by and I got a second email stating I needed to edit my order, my payment method was denied. I called to get it taken care of because I knew that my card expired, now mind you had they shipped my order when I was told they would this would not be an issue. My card expired 6 days after I placed the order, the day before it was to arrive at my house, the day after it was to be at my house was when I got this email about the "problem". I called and got someone who spoke very little english and could not understand me nor I her, she tried to transfer me and disconnected me, I called back only to explain entire situation again and then was told "Oh I would be embarrassed to if I didnt have the money in my account"!!! Really! He transferred me and again I explained my situation, and again was told it was not there problem to call the bank. The account is a second account I have for a second job I have for "play" money, it had more than enough money in it! Target can shove it I will never shop there again!
Having been a rather loyal customer am dismayed at the present ONLINE EXPERIENCE ...precisely the INABILITY to pull up the Target Weekly ad ...AM totally frustrated since the REVAMP to amp up your online site and find it ANNOYING in its present set up. All seem to figure that there NEEDS TO BE 'flash" and whatever...KEEP IT SIMPLE folks, most of us quickoy peruse and the present setup wanders all over and is USELESS!! Bring back the view where it resembles the paper insert and easy to go from page to page...Since the new set up , have shopped LESS ...actuallly close to ZIP times at target and had been a weekly shopper but nowe with ads INACCESSIBLE, find I go where weekly ads are EASY to access and peruse !! (At first thought perhaps it was our browzer, DEFINITELY IS NOT and most often using AOL which itself is trying to insert all sorts of flash/bells/whistles which makes for an exhausting experience using their access point and will soon cease its utilization as well !! ) TOO MUCH OVERLOAD FOLKS>>>>KEEP IT SIMPLE and easily accessible not all of us care to be super computer whizmatical !!!!!!
I will never shop at Target again. They have ridiculously bad customer service. Yes, the prices are good, but not worth the stress. They are able to keep the prices so low, obviously, by defrauding the customer.
I have found that Target advertizes really great in store only price for something on their website and the store search will show product is available. Only to drive to three stores and not one of them has the product or even a space marked on the shelves for the product. I've called up to six other stores and none of them had it either. This is the third time I've experienced this. I hate Target. They should be sued for false ads. I never shop there unless more I find a really good deal but I wont waste my time and gas in the future chasing after their fake ads.
I placed an order online from the items I had left from my wedding registry. I received two of the 5 items damaged - boxes we both damaged and upon opening them - both pieces of furntiture were also damaged. I called in on the Sunday of the week of receiving the products to tell them I needed to return them and then get new items. She told me they would send me a new mailing label and I had to go to UPS and send them back - even though the packing slip said I could return to the store, the rep said I could not. I waited until Tuesday of that same week - never received a return label. So on Wed of the same week, I called customer service. Only to recieve the WORST customer service of my life!! The first lady told me I COULD return to the store, but NOT exchange it. So she said she would have to transfer me to get the return label. After FOURTY minutes on hold I hung up and called back. I told the lady that answered what happend and she told me I would have to hold again. After about 20 min I was rerouted to the MAIN MENU! The THIRD rep I spoke with said she could arrange a "swap". Target would ship the replacement items to me via UPS and deleiver to my door and they would "swap" me the new items with my old items. I asked her - "What if I am not home when the delivery comes?" She said she didn't know and would have to transfer me. There I sat ON HOLD FOR THE FOURTH TIME - ALMOST 1.5 HOURS AFTER MY INITIAL CALL. I then waited for another 20 min and hung up. I can't stay on hold all day!! My initial call was at approx 9am mind you. There shouldn't have been a surge of calls at 9amCST. I am going to call back again tonight and try to get through - I am also writing Corporate and telling them that the current process they have for returns/exchanges is NOT WORKING!!! I will NEVER shop here again - its too much of a hassle!! We even brought them business by doing our wedding registry there - never again will I register - for a baby, wedding or anything else ever again! This is unacceptable and ridiculous!!
I shopped for an item on target.com. I have still not received it as promised. All I get are emails saying the order has been postponed. I call and get routed to other countries and have a hard time understanding their English. I want to cancel the order but can't even do that. I have not been on hold for about 45 min. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. I may never visit a Target store again!
I live in Newbury park. A Target is just down the street and I love it, BUT! Every time I go some NIGGER is out front harassing me and other shoppers for money. Why does the store allow this???
Sir / Madam... I will no longer shop at Target. I just purchased gym socks and noticed that they were made in Pakistan. This is a country that supports terrorism and is either directly or indirectly killing American Soldiers and Marines. Additionally, the product comes from sweat shops where child labor is rampent. No doubt you won't miss my purchases, nor will your shareholders. I will now shop online and seek out USA made products. Farewell Target...!
Well, now, let's see how far this goes. You have accidentally had a nugget of gold dropped into your very lap at the Target Store East in Evansville, Indiana. Tine Keltner will apparently begin to work the all night stock shift at that store on November 21st. You have no idea what you have had landed in your very possession. Tina, 43, very German wisdom and smarts and talents, has worked very hard to gain a Masters in Social Work at SIU there these past three years...all As. top notch. Skills also include incredible esperience in nursing homes, assisted livings, etc. I, the referrer, served as Deputy Commissioner of IOSHA for five years, served in industry for years, was a stock broker on the circle in Indy, and 27 years full time and part time in the ministry. If I became aware of such a talent in my employ, I would immediately inquire and pursue her talents way beyond what she has accepted in desperation. Great team player, very wise advisor and leader....I think she wishes to remain in the Evansville area for about another two years or so. Now, I have done my part. I will await and watch to see if anything happens. This is surely a "hiring" market for talent as the underemployed seek any work to survive. The Rev. Robert J.
