TARGET -- I think your ad campaign featuring that stupid blonde is insulting, extremely annoying, and in very poor taste for a company such as yours. You're comparing potential Target shoppers with this ridiculous woman, and I would be embarrassed to be at your store early for shopping as someone might think I was influenced by such a ditzy, materialistic, sorry excuse for a person. These ads are encouraging me not to shop at your store, and I don't know anyone who thinks their funny. And when she screams, I have to turn my head in embarassement for Target and the TV viewers. More tasteful material a must in 2012!!!!
I cannot stand your commercials - they are horriably annoying. I DO NOT want to shop at Target ever!!! Please make them stop (that woman dressed in red who looks ridiculous screaming - It's so ANNOYING and the other 2 are just completely Stupid. And, to top it off they keeping playing over and over. Get rid of them!!! The site of a Target store has now turned me off completely - I will definitely not shop there this holiday season. Bring the Dog back - PLEASE!!!
Your Christmas advertising commercials are driving me nuts. That woman is the most unlikeable and irritating person to come along in a long time. I have to look away and turn the sound off when the commercial appears. And, you are over-saturated!!! Fire your advertising agency for these awful commercials!!!
Wow! I had the same experience with target.com i'm pretty sure they have the same " customer serivce practice skills" as at&t employees ! ... I have spent 1hour & 45 minutes trying to talk to people/or someone & to simply place an order ... then followed up by trying to get the order correct .. then a simple apology( which NEVER happened) it goes to show you that Corporate @ Target is the same as anyone other company~ they don't care about anything except their pay check! ... I spend on an average of $600.00 a month with a red card..... No one cares! here are the names of the ignorant people i have spoke to: Jaycie~ he wouldnt give me last name or his employee # Jane employee #A523831 (allegedly) then Kay employee # 37508140( again allegedly) (@ corporate) who called herself a " Multi~Channel Specialist" LOL all in all... my order was NEVER placed ! I will be cancelling my red card & shopping @ Walmart !!!
Black Friday ads with the older lady in them has got to be the WORST commercial I have ever seen. It repels me like DEET to a mosquito. I have done my best over the last three decades to block out Family Circus cartoon in my newspaper, this is worse. Fire the advertising company and the person in Target that approved it. Have you ever heard of a focus group? Did someone think this was cute?
Every time the ad for Black Friday, with the wacky woman, comes on I immediately switch to another station. I don't know why the retailers can't let their employees celebrate Thanksgiving with their families and open earlier than normal on Friday. Since we are not shopping this year, instead asking family to give to their favorite charities, I don't have to worry about going to Target on Thursday and can enjoy spending the day with my husband.
To Employees of Target....You want Thanksgiving off...So do I, a hospital employee...So do the television employees which you probably turn on all day or thru out the day...so do the public transportation employees...ie pilots, service stations, bus etc....so do the convenience stores....so do the employees on call in case of natural disasters...and it could go on, For some of us it's just not Thanksgiving but all holidays....We do it a lot because we love our jobs and making live just a little more pleasurable for many of you....Many occupations of done this for longer than a lot of you can remember and did it without public display....we have done it for an inner satisfaction with a joy and love and happy we have a job.
I ordered a jacket and lip gloss from target online...received the lip gloss (completely busted up and opened) needless to say that went in the trash. Never received the jacket. Checked into it, the post office sent it back. Target rep keeps saying it was delivered to me by my local post office. She never bothered to check the actual post office site, she was looking at ups' site cuz they transferred it to the post office. ups says it was delivered by the post office but HELLO post office says it was sent back. Meanwhile, I'm stuck in the middle with no jacket...thanks target for your help and 'knowledgeable' associates. They obviously do not go the extra mile for their customers. Unbelievable.
I SUPPORT YOUR EMPLOYEES' PETITION NOT TO OPEN AT MIDNIGHT AFTER THANKSGIVING. TARGET, BE A LEADER NOT A FOLLOWER, AND SHOW SENSITIVITY TO THE NEED FOR A HEALTHY WORK/LIFE BALANCE FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES AND THEIR FAMILIES. C'mon Target...You can do better!
If the employees do not want to work the hours that the store is open, then they should find a NEW JOB!!! The problem with most retail regular hourly employees is they want a pay check but they do not want to work for it! They should fire anyone who does not want to work the hours the stores are open.
I will no longer buy any food items from Target until they have instituted an oversight committee to investigate companies that they purchase food from AND publicly announce that they will no longer purchase from Sparboe Farms. The animal cruelty charges brought against Sparboe Farms, an egg supplier, absolutely made me sick. Companies like Target and McDonalds have a responsibility to the community to review the companies that they purchase food from. If the workers have such little regard for the treatment of the animal, how safe do you feel about the quality of the food coming out of there? I will not be feeding it to my family.
What in the world is wrong with Target's website? I've been trying to use it for two weeks. It freezes up and you can't do a thing. Better get that corrected before the holiday shopping on line begins. I'm sick and tired of trying to use it.

The whole Black Friday event now moving from 5am to 12am stinks. For fifteen years my wife and I look forward to the early start on Black Friday for door busters to kick off our holiday season... But not this year, because we are wrongly celebrating Thanksgiving again this year like every year. Black Friday no longer is the day after Thanksgiving, but according to Target and other retailers, is now going to be a substitute for Thanksgiving. GREAT JOB to the marketers. I hope your bonus goes up, because TARGET is off my list of stores to shop at this year.... GOOD LUCK!
The worst commercial on TV now is from Target . I can not stand that woman in the red suit!!!!! I turn the sound off or change the channel every time it comes on. It is completely idiotic and insulting and extremely annoying to me.....probably to many more "guests" also. It in no way entices me to go to Target. There are other really annoying commercials, but this one is by far the obnoxious at this time. Better luck next time. Try for one with more class as you have in the past. Target has become a much better store than it was a few years ago, but this commercial is not up to the quality one would expect from Target. I guess your sales for this season will determine for you if it was productive. Hopefully, your Christmas commercials will excel and make us enjoy the coming holidays. Barbara
I have just read recent posts from all the other unsatisfied customers who have placed orders online at target.com. As I write this I am AGAIN on the phone with a "SPECIALIST" regarding an order I placed on Oct 27, 2011 for items that were on clearance. I can't cancel the order online, my bank is holding a pending payment for the items, which means I can't use that money for other more important things. I have called a dozen times about this order and keep getting the run around. I also keep receiving emails telling me there is a delay, of course there is a delay, the items I ordered are not in stock anymore, because they are summer items. On November 10th I was told my order was pending and in the warehouse to be shipped that the items were again in stock. On November 14th I tried to cancel the order and was told by a customer service rep that ok they cancelled the order, NOT, as of today November 15th, I called again and was told the person who told me they cancelled the order did not cancel it because they have no access to a system to do cancellations. Now I am being told my order is STUCK in a released status. Now I was told he is sending my information to BSPS GROUP because they are the ones who handle these types of situations. I informed him I will be calling corporate and the better business bureau. And I WILL NEVER SHOP AT TARGET OR TARGET.COM AGAIN.
I shop at the target in baton rouge on siegen I never saw employee like this before ......I ask the young lady at guest service for his name . A guy name mark team leader . firting with a another team member . I needed help with a item . I was calling him .to help me . He keep firting . This store is not a great store to shop at .I ask to talk the manager .they ignore me ... What a waste of time ......
I am posting this because of a very bad experience with Target.com.....I ordered a 6.5' prelit sky blue pencil tree on 11/6/11, received the wrong tree, they sent me a 9' antique gold tree instead that I cannot use at all...called the 1-800 number and got to talk to a person in another country that didn't know diddly squat and I could not understand them at all....had to pay up shipping for the item, now I have to return it and pay another UPS shipping charge.....it is very inconvience for me, and I am very unhappy about there customer services....I will NEVER shop Target again.....Farewell completely online or store.......!!!!!
I went to my local target and saw that cruel lotion deal. Buy two lotions get a 5.00 Gift card. My store was sold out. I have been back multiple times, and my store is always out of this product. Each time I talk to an emplyees they tell me it has been ordered and that it will be here on --. Each time I go back to the store there is no lotion. And the cycle starts all over again. Long story short, I would like to buy stuff from target if they would have the products I need in stock. I don't think I will be "shopping" there anymore. Or should I wasting my time attempting to shop there.(I would have put down negative stars if that was an option, instead of 1)
target security ...im 70 years old. have high blood pressure..ive never ever did anything wrong in a store and yet i was followed and watched by untrained security people who look 19 yrs old and think their cops....target is now just like wal-mart....i always wondered why older people arent in those stores...now i know why...their afraid the key stone cops will cause them to get a toe tag...both stores make enough money to hire older, trained security people...shame on them..they save by hiring uneducated kids who run up and down the isles looking at people...they dont deserve our money....
