Today, at my Greenwood, IN Target store, I found a large sum of money on the floor. Trying to treat others as I would want to be treated, I went to the office and gave them the money for someone to claim. So I politely ask them if the money was not claimed, was the money mine. They said no, the store keeps the money. Well, this is totally unfair, I was trying to do the right thing and they are dead wrong. I was told to write my newspapers because this law is unfair.
the worst pharmacy service ever...I mean ever... and I have been taking meds for 25 years. Thought I would try the Santa Clarita,Ca. on golden valley rd....big mistake afer being jacked around and charged full retail price ( I have Insurance) they skirt around it to cash in. I took my 110.00 per month business back to Costco after butting heads with them for 4 months. Sad to have these people in charge of your health issues. The lady in charge there should loose her job fast Mel ...very unhappy customer
This review is for Target locations in San Jose Ca. Please educate your employees about coupons. When I hand over the coupons to them they are so rude huffing and puffing. They go through each coupon like a hawk asking me if I bought this and that... Ummm why in the world would i waste my time getting all my items and hand you coupons for items I didn't get? I must be the dumbest idiot and have so much time to waste. And telling me I can't use more than one of the same coupon when it clearly does not have a limit on it. I know that on some coupons it would have a limit of 4 or whatever but the one I used didn't. And also whenever I give them a coupon that's more than the value of the item they would give it back to me telling m I can't use it. It clearly states in the coupon policy that when it's more than the product the coupon must be reduced. I really hate the one on Story Rd. So rude and very racist.
I bought the ipad2 not knowing that the ipad3 was coming out a few weeks later. I emailed target asking about their price match policy which was not online or in store. They sent me back an email 3 weeks later stating that it was 14 days. By that time it was was already past the match date. I said ok well id like to return the item and they said they couldn't even though my receipt clearly states 45 days. It says nothing about the item being open or anything! They would not do anything for me! What a load of crap. I usually buy from best buy but target has the 5% off with the redcard. Best buy here I come.
Giving one star because there is no lower option. Have ordered a camera to take with me on my trip out of country. They sent me tracking number which shows that only an electronic label has been created and the Item has not yet been picked up by UPS. This status is there for 6 days now. They would wait for another week before starting investigation. I am definitely sure this item is not going to go with me on my trip (what do they care?) Called twice to reps and once to a supervisor but they have the same recorded tape. Very poor customer service.
Order placed 2/19/12, still have not received order. Received email that I could cancel the order but no one in customer service will cancel the order. It is on my Target credit card. Advised that I will cancel the card and no longer be a customer and they basically said, okay, whatever. Lose goodwill, lose a customer, over poor customer service over a $15 item? Okay, whatever, Target. My business may not matter to you, but your store and its employees don't matter to me ... your stores, your goods, customer service, and employees have really gone downhill. Sorry I spent almost $1500 there at Christmastime, would rather keep Kmart, Sears and Walmart in business.
I want to give kudos to Kelli at the BonneyLake Wa. Target store location. Kelli was headed off on her break when I rudely accosted her and asked for her help in locating a product. Without skipping a beat or cracking her smile she cheerfully guided me through the store to the item I was looking for. She could have easily told me she was on break and I was cuttting into it, or directed me to another employee for help, but she didn't. I'd like her manager and corporate to know how well she represented the company today.
I placed an order through Target.com for two Toro snow shovels, and today received two power wheels cars instead! I have called customer service at least 5 times in the last 30 minutes, and can only reach a call center in India. STOP OUTSOURCING AMERICAN JOBS TO INDIA!!! Are people from India shopping in your stores?? No, Americans are shopping in your stores. I cannot understand what these people are saying, and every time I asked to speak to a supervisor that I can understand, they actually REFUSE to transfer my call!!! WHAT THE???? TARGET!! You screwed up my order! FIX IT!!!
I'm never gonna be shopping at target ever again!!!! I ordered an iPhone case online with premium shipping but then got an email that there was a delay and I would not receive the case until a week after it said it would come. When I tried to call to cancel the order they wouldn't let me and said that the item they DID NOT HAVE was already being shipped to me! Are they high?!?!?!?!!!!!!! How does that make sense!!!!! Now after I receive a package that they said they did not have, I would have to bring it back to the store and get a refund but I won't get a refund on the extra shipping I paid for (which btw cost more than the case). I have to talk to UPS or FedEx or whatever and now it's my job to take care of it. I'm so mad by the terrible service. They didn't even care when I talked to them. >:((((
I am so tired of people buying things and wanting to return them in dire conditions with no receipt, and expect a full refund smh.. Learn to purchase wisely and if you are broke stop shopping, pay a bill instead !!! Time and time again you see guest come into Target with an attitude already because deep inside they know they may not get what they want or they are being shady, a policy is a policy so if you dont like it call the Corp.Office and complain, the employees are what they are employees and are trying to do a job by upholding the policies. This world is full of people trying to get something for nothing , or should I say they want to get paid !! If you dont like the store then STOP SHOPPING THERE !!!Geeeshhh Those who want to name drop walmart smh go there and shut up cause your getting a cheap product and horrible customer service there. Manufacturers are making cheap products and outsourcing their companies overseas and all major retailers have to be blamed for the end product well folks get a brain and learn that its the manufacturers that need the lashing

Actually I would rate them as O. I purchased a headboard 7 months ago and still don't have my refund. I've been on the phone too many times to say. I have been through so many managers and customer service people you would not believe. This was through Target.com. & months and they don't want the headboard back and they won't refund my money either. I loaded it up and took it to the local Target store and the manager there was on the phone 2 hours, a phone in each ear to help solve this problem. He said I would be given my credit in 24 hours. That's been 2 months ago. They told me to take the headboard back home and donate it or whatever I wanted to do. He loaded it back in my car and it's still here. How do you work with people like this. I am going to our television station and will get them to see if being put on tv in front of the world will open their eyes to how bad customer service is that they have
My husband ordered on line a bottle of Ysatis by Gyvency. I could have had Macy's order it for me, but Targets price was 20.00 cheaper...I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER!!! I opened the gift, used it a few times and found that it smelled to high heaven...STUNK!! I know an old bottle of this cologne when I smell it...I have used it for over 20 years. It is hard to find in the stores anymore, so that's why I ordered it on line..I saw that they say that IF I am not happy with my purchase TARGET wil make it right... that's a LIE...They say that because I opened it...it is now used and they will not do anything about it....here's what they told me in an email and when I called, they said the same thing... HOW do you expect someone to know if cologne is not good unless you have opened the bottle????? If I had known I would waste 70.00...I would NOT have ordered it ...SHAME!!!!!!! hello Alpha, I'm sorry but we can't take that item back since it has been used. Our return policy states that the item must be new and unused conditions. I'm sorry for your disappointment in the experience that you have received with Target.com. I'll document your feedback and share it with the appropriate team. Thanks for getting in touch. We hope you’ll visit Target.com again soon! Sincerely,
Today I went to my local Target to buy a nano. I did a price scan on my i-phone and saw the price was $10 less at the Best Buy next door. When I asked about price mathcing I was told to go get the ad and then they would match it. When I asked why they did not accept the price scan I was told that is there policy. I said if I leave your store to go to Best Buy I will buy it there. They said that that is up to you. I asked for managers and kept get trainees. I guess it is better to lose a sale that match a price!
Until recently, I have always used Target as my preferred store. I detest Walmart because the service in our region is soooo bad. I even started buying a lot of our groceries at Target to avoid going to two stores. On average we spend $300 per month in this store. Recently, they re-modeled the area stores and the attitude and quality of the employees and managers changed right along with it. They are now as bad, IF NOT WORSE, than Walmart. After having them refuse numerous coupons for absolutely no valid reason, I have gone back to buying all our Food (and often products I would otherwise have gotten at Target, again to avoid going to 2 places, at Fry's where they never hassle me about products, coupons, or anything else AND double those coupons. The latest and greatest was yesterday. My daughter has injuries that require I wrap her legs daily...2 legs equals 2 packs of J&J wrap per day. This is not a sale item and it is not something everyone is running in to get. In fact, Walgreens stop carrying it because they only sold 4 per month. I attempted to buy 9 packs (8-days worth) using 3 coupons (those were not an issue this time). The cashier called the manager over and said you can only buy 5....I COULD NOT BELIEVE A STORE WAS TELLING ME NOT TO BUY SOMETHING FROM THEM. I explained our needs and was basically told Too Bad and given an attitude by both the Floor and Store Managers (they could care less about customers and are obvious about it in there attitudes). Again this is not a popular product. When I asked why they would not be happy to be selling product and just order more, I was told by the Store Manager that they only get so many shipments. So, if the manager cannot manually order more product and boost sales, why not just have a computer do her job? What use does she serve, other than to inconvenience customers? When I stated that I was pretty much exasperated with Target after all the recent nonsense being encountered, and was ready to start shopping at Walmart instead where I can get poor customer service AND no hassles, the Manager actually said "Good, You should do that:...can you believe it!! So, goodbye Target, enough is enough, I'm done..off to Walmart from now on..(not that any of your officers give a D, I'm sure). I wonder how the stockholders would like a copy of all these comments?
Today I was told by a target cashier that baby formula was not food, and that I could not use my EBT card to purchase it. It didn't matter that it IS food--for babies. It doesn't matter that I've purchased it there dozens of times. It doesn't matter that the EBT website specificially states I can use my benefits for baby formula. Customer service and manager didn't help & I walked out without the formula. What exactly do they expect I'll use the card for, if not FOOD for my BABY?
BUYER BEWARE-Target stores-Last night I tried to return a defected item with my receipt that I purchased the night before, that costs $2.79. The item was opened and they refused to return it. I did not know the item was defective until I opened it. They said to me .....on the back of the receipt is their return policy. I would not have seen that until AFTER I bought the defective product. This is what the back of the Target receipt says” Items that are opened OR damaged OR do not have a receipt may be denied a refund OR exchange”. Apparently Target has changed their return policy and are not honoring defective items. Customer service told me to get in contact with the manufacture! WHAT???Are they kidding?? ......for a item that cost $2.79??.....no, they are NOT kidding! I can not say enough of how disappointed I am. I am a family of 9 who use to absolutely LOVE target, however , after seeing how their return policy doesn't work for me, I do not intend to ever shop there again! This store's return policy is no different than Burlington Coat factory if you ask me....and I haven't shopped there in years after a similar situation occurred.
I have just read the Forbes article on your activity tracking buyers' shopping habits and what you deem to be pertinent mailings to that person. You've lost my business entirely until which time this practice stops.
When asked for an I.D, to purchase Asti I was shocked that the chasier swiped my card thru her register. I am 60 years old and do not have a problem being asked for and I.D. but when Target swipes my I.D. into the computer system there is a whole bunch more info on that card than just DOB. I am now wondering what Target is using this information for??? When I call coustomer service I got a body in an overseas location. Finally I called MPLS. location and the Rep read from a script as to what Target used the information from my I.D., for. Talk about invasion to buy a bottle of Austi. NO MORE TARGET FOR ME!!!
I was in your Oaklawn store last night and spent over 300.00 and did not recieve an item went back in with my reciept and showed the in customer service they called the security and he left and came back and said I had the item well I would not have gone back to the store if I had the item said it was in my bag with the batteries that I had bought well it was not in the bag or left in the cart as I walkrd the cart back into the store myself and I am sure if it was dropped on the ground as we loaded the back of the escort I would have seen it it was not that small not to see . The item was 19.96 do you reall ythink that after spending 300.00 I would complain about 19.00 dollars. I will not shop there again and started passing the word around to all the people I see and meet. very poor service.
