Gay people are people had a bad childhood and are confused
I purchased a children’s bicycle from and after purchasing the item, the employee asked me if I would like to be enrolled in the monthly sweepstakes. I replied sure, I never win anything but it’s worth a try. While I stood there, he typed my name and receipt number into the computer at the customer service station. He asked if I won, would I like to be notified by email or text. I gave him my phone number and left happily. At the end of July, I received a phone call during the middle of the day. Since I can’t answer my telephone during working hours, I actually looked at it that evening. I didn’t recognize the phone number and thought it might be Target saying I had won, especially since I don’t get crank or solicitation calls on my cell phone. I had a really difficult time locating the right department via the website so I called corporate. When I was connected and explained the situation, I was told that the text would give me a number that I would have to call back and present. When I asked the person if I’d won, she said she couldn’t look up that information by either by the receipt number or name. I thought that was strange. I was also told the company does not keep a record of who won, which I found difficult to believe because anyone who wins money has to sign some document and produce a social security number. Eventually I let the issue go because the conversation was really so ridiculous. However on August 8, 2012 at 7:56am I received a text informing me I’d won the sweepstakes and I was given a (claim?) number which with to respond. I went back to that same Target store and was told there is no such sweepstakes and it was ‘spam’. I told the employee I had the receipt of registration and spam comes on computers not on a phone. He said Target does not do sweepstakes. That was really strange so I went to the department where I purchased the bike, looking for the employee who helped me make the purchase. A different employee said, yes there is a sweepstakes but the local stores do not handle the gift card. She suggested I call the number that left the message or contact the corporate office and give them that claim number. A moment ago, I contacted the corporate office and was told Target does not have sweepstakes. When I explained I had a receipt, the employee registered me with me standing beside him and providing the information requested and the person insisted it didn’t happen. How bizarre! It’s difficult to imagine that a company as large as Target would put something on the bottom of a receipt then deny that there is a sweepstakes. Now more than being concerned about winning a $1,000 gift card, I’d like to know your policy on this issue.
I have never been so irritated with a store. I just went to exchange a clipboard I purchaed, that when I got back to work, I found that it was cracked. So, I took it back and requested to just straight across exchange ti for on which ws not cracked. The guy behind the counter told me sure, go get another one. Then, when I got back to the service desk, he asked to see my receipt. I advised that I didn't have it with me. I was then advised I would have to pay an additonal $1.10 in order to get the new undamaged clip board. This becuase it has been on sale within the last 90 days and is no longer on sale and I cannot prove that I paid full price. We are talking about a straight across even exchange!!! I asked to speak with a manager and was told he IS the manager, although his name badge did not reflect this. I took my cracked clipboard, and left the $7.00 notebook I was about to purchase and left the store. I went right nextdoor to Office Max where I paid $4.99 for the same clipboard (undamaged) and $9.29 for the same notebook and I was treated with kindness and respect. I will no longer be shopping at Target. T realize that the measley $100 a week a so that I spend there is probably not going to be missed, but I guarantee you I will share my experience with everyone I know and hopefully they will continue to lose business for being so ridiculously unfair.
I have never been treated as poorly by a member of Target on the phone. I had a problem with an online order so I called back to get phone help. About 15 min on hold.I was treated so badly. Words can't explain. I hung up. I have been shopping at Target for only twenty five years or more.. Chris Pitel 952-583-4205
This is in regards to Target Photo lab. I have never been more frusterated with a store. Many times I have attempted to print photos at Target both in Monticello MN, and St. Cloud, Mn. 7 yes, seven, times now it has not worked. I get the confirmation that my order has been processes gives me an order number and an address of which store to pick it up.. ONE HOUR PHOTO right, never. Many hours later I go to the store to pick up the photos and they have NO evidence of it being there. NONE. Not an I'm sorry for the inconvenience, nothing... just a shrug of the shoulders and a big I don't give a shit, the manager in St. Cloud walked away from me... just kept walking as I said is there anyway to track it, she turned and said... Don't think so... really??? I know I am just one person and that may not mean a lot to Target, but I typically do all of my shopping at Target and with a large Daycareand my own family to buy supplies for that adds up. Now with my most recent experiences I may decide to go elsewhere. GET a new system, make sure the first email sent says something to the effect of the order not being ready till you receive a second stinken email and also that its not really one hour until you get that second email. SERIOUSLY, for a corporation this size it is unreal to me that you could have this many issues. Terribly dissapointed- Becker, MN
I am very disappointed in you decision to support gay marriage. The Biblical definition of marriage is between a man and a woman. What made you buckle to their demands. I have written your place of business off and I know many other people who will do likewise.
Eagle Rock, CA Store--8/3/12 10:20 am..no handcap carts available! 2 broken, 1 not charged and the other lost! Spoke with a manager...forced to find another store to shop as, as without handicap cart cannot shop! Called to complain and got a call center in Manila! Complained nicely to store manager, Mr. G.O.--who instead of apologizing--accused me of 'talking down to him.' Eventually, got connected to Sandra in Guest Relations in Minnepaolis, who took a complaint.
I sincerely wish that the Target Corporation would rethink their decision to not build in LOCKPORT, ILLINOIS. People were under the impression it would be built a haf mile for illinois 355 tollway on 159th st in Lockport. Target would definitely give the local Walmart a run for their money. PLEASE, PLEASE RECONSIDER AND CONTACT OUR MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL ABOUT PUTTING OF THESE MUCH NEEDED STORES IN OUR AREA. THE PEOPLE WOULD DEFINITELY MAKE IT WORTH YOUR WHILE. KATHLEEN HAMILTON
I love target. I have had a couple of incidents however, at a target in atwater California. Two incidents in one day actually. In the electronics and guest services. I was in the electronics department trying to purchase a tv and i needed some assistance so i asked the nearest employee for help and he completely ignored me and continued talking to his coworker about a speaker. It wasn't an important conversation either because i overheard what they were saying. He was just talking about how lord it goes and how he wants one. After about five minutes when Im about to leave he tells his coworker hold on let me help this person out-like if it's the biggest burden in the world. Then at guest service i wanted to exchange a couple of notebooks i purchases that were wide ruled for college ruled. Same quantity same price same everything. But for some reason it was difficult to make the exchange and the employee (lwezeyanna weird version of Louisiana) made it thee most difficult process in the world. Anyway i do however love that you are supporting gay marriage! Go target!
I think Target should sell universal ink refill kits, for customers along with their competitors, disappointed to see that my printer model which is an Epson C62 stylus (which by the way still works for me, just currently out of ink) no longer carries the ink cartridges I need! It's not fair to me as customer to be forced to buy a new printer when I can not afford one right now.
Target has extremely rude low-class, bottom of the barrell customer service. They don't care about your complaint and they'll call security if you ask to talk to the manager to intimidate you. RUDE RUDE RUDE-I am done being bullied by their employees. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars there throughout the years. Hire some decent upright employees-otherwise your business is going to major lose money. I AM DONE WITH TARGET-there are other places to shop- I'm sure they would want my money!
We will no longer be shopping at Target. Stick to selling merchandise and stay out of the political arena. Your promoting homosexual ads are running off your loyal customers.
If you are such a BIGOT then nobody wants you shopping with them anyway. This is a FREE country if you want to keep walking around with your heads up your A$$e$ then I suggest you do it elsewhere...Nobody has the right to tell someone who they can or can't be married to, who they can love, live with, laugh with, cry with, play with, shop with.....GET THE PICTURE BIGOTS!!!
I am tired of being approached by the Gay agenda at Target. Young children have to listen to their sick agenda as well. These people need to be placed somewhere other than the front door of the Stores. I don't care what their Sexual preference is and I do not think its appropriate to allow them to abuse our rights. They have the same rights as everyone else and its their goal to force the agenda on the Public. Shame on Target. I am sure target has many Homosexuals working for them and that is fine. I just don't care to know about it thrown in my face.
The Pharmacist actually told me to go shop at another store and it was not a Target Store. In my opinion The New Super Targer in Rowlett, Texas is getting a little bit too big for it's Britches since they Completed The Bush Turnpike Exstention ! So I will do just that and make sure they no longer get anymore of my money. These karge Stores and Corporations think they will forever have an endless supply of money wether they supply good customer service, manners or not!
I went into target looking for a High Chair for my baby and there was one I really liked and looked at the shelf price and it said $1.00 I then called a sales associate and she called the manager. I know that other stores honor the advertising price manager Adele said YOUR DEFENILITY NOT GETTING THIS FOR A DOLLAR IT WAS A MSTAKE! I said well I think I should it wasn't my mistake I then proceeded to call headquarters and hopefully they return my call highly doubt it!!!!!
DID THE ASYLUM LOOSE SOME RESIDENTS: JEEZ the sheer hatred of some of the letter writers regarding gays and Target. So Target supports some gay causes. Chick Fillet sandwich shop condems gay marriage, and homosexuals. So stop the griping and go have a chicken sandwich. The hate mongering of the Conservative letter writers is beyond bizarre. One letter writer said Target is trying to spread aids. Oh come on, they are trying to sell clothes and detergent, not spread aids. Another customer said she is mad they would not let her return an item when she had lost the receipt and she was going to e-mail 100 of her friends. I doubt that she had more than 20 friends with a sad attitude as that. Nobody is making you go. Shop at another store - or sew your own clothes.
I had a horrible experience yesterday Thursaday July 27, 2012. I went to fill a script at your target store on one mifflin street phila pa 19148 and was told the DEA number did not match the doctors name. After waiting and having to be embarrassed by shoppers who More than likely thought I altered the DEA number after the pharmacy team stated in front of customers that it was wrong. I showed "Susan"( my reference number is 3-825644933) a " floating pharmacist " who made me feel like I was a person who did something illegalshould never work with pole with her attitude in fact the entire team their yesterday afternoon at two PM was wrong I do not take an aspirin without consulting with my cardiologist first. My pressure is high due to the anxiety I experienced yesterday. If you are ever accused by strangers of doing something illegal you would know the feeling. In a half hour which seemed like a lifetime they said they made a mistake and had keyed in the wrong DEA. Number for my doctor and it was Targets fault. Needless to say of course it was their fault I knew that but even after I showed them another script with the same signature and DEA number they went into a huddle discussing it. I am mortified to say the least, my daughter was with me and had an anxiety attack and had to leave the store while this was happening how date they falsely accuse me or try to then think a simple IM SORRYwould compensate what theydid to me? Wrong. It don't put a dent into what they did. When Chris or Travist are there in ever ever had one single problem. Shame on the team that did that to a cardiac patient! I was so embarrassed I could not sleep. I seriously hope you resolve this matter ASAP!
Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder has said in a statement that their ad, featuring two smiling men dressed in suits and bow ties holding hands and touching foreheads is part of Target’s broader commitment to “diversity and inclusion” i.e. gay marriage. Like many I have been a regular customer at Target for many years, however in light of your support for gay marriage, your commitment to "diversity and inclusion," will just have to do without me, as I will no longer be shopping with you. I can do without your products, how long can you do without my $$$$.
I am just trying to decide where to start, let's begin at the beginning. First, know that I use to LOVE to shop at Target, probably in and out two or three times a week, but the incidents of the last week have taken them off my shopping list. About one month ago, my daughter received an item off her gift registry, it was very nice but the wrong color. She ask me to return and get something in her color scheme. I went to customer service (CS) to return the item with the receipt and I explained I just want to exchange. The Customer service clerk gave me a gift card. I went to see if the items my daughter wanted were in the store and realized they were either out of stock on needed to purchased online. Going back to the CS they ask me if items were on her registry, which I explained yes. I was directed to the gift registry in the store and after about 30 minutes I finally got all the items in the outbox. So here is where my nightmare begins. I go to buy with the gift card I was just given and couldn't purchase. I ask the same CS agent to assist me and she informs me that since I needed to purchased at the gift registry, I would have to go home and purchase on the website. I was like are you kidding me, you just had me stand here for 30 minutes and knew I was using the gift card and ordering on line. So, when I ask her about ordering at a computer in the store or her ordering she informed me that this store didn't have the capability. I was upset, so left when home and ordered the products. This however was not my deal breaker. This pass Monday, I returned to the same Target (located at 3378 Cobb Parkway, Acworth, GA) with three items to return, as two items off daughter's registry were purchased and we only needed one, plus received three of the same outfits all in the same size, so just wanted to exchange 2 OF the outfits for larger sizes because she really likes them. I was informed that I needed to get a receipt from gift registry to return the item from the registry, oh yea it was $12.99. The other items no problem to return, however, it would be held against me because of their return policy, which is only $70.00 a year with no receipt. Normally, if I'm purchasing I have receipts, but these were gifts, with a target sales tag on them. This process was over 40 minutes (by the way you need chairs for people to sit at the gift registry) with another customer trying to help me, because the CS was busy standing around. After having to get loud and request a manager, a manager came over to registry and then returned my 3 items for a GRAND TOTAL OF $41.00. I'm still not done. It's Wednesday and I'm on Facebook. One of my contacts said how she loves Target and I said I use to love them also and told her my experience. I get a respond from a Heather from on line customer service at Target indicating she will share my comments with store management. Next thing I get another comment from Kristin Shepherd, a Target Sales Clerk from Springfield, Illinois at 3445 Freedom Avenue, who tells me to just keep my receipts. At the time, I didn't realize she was an employee, had to google her and found out she has been employed since 2008 with Target. I understood her comment, so I explained, while I didn't have a receipt. This Kristin, I guess feels like she has the responsibility to give customers her opinion, as Kristin then tells me I'M GREEDY, because I am returning items to the store that were gifts. I should ask everybody for gift receipts without being rude or donate gifts that we don't need or want to shelters. There is a lot more that she said, all rude, which I am printing and mailing to your corporate offices. I TOTALLY EXPECT YOU TO FOLLOW UP WITH KRISTIN SHEPHERD, immediately!!!! Having worked in hospitality with over 300,000 employees (Human Resources) for over 30 years in senior management, I couldn't believe that an employee without, I'm sure approval, felt that she could represent her company and chastise what is definitely now an ex-customer. I know in my companies, all employees are told to allow your customer service departments or store management to handle all customer complaints. I was satisfied with Heather respond and decided to just move on, but KRISTIN SHEPHERD stepped in and has turn this situation into a personal issue for me. Social media really brings out the worst in many people, because they feel it's a safe zone, but it can definitely affect companies. You can be assured I will forward all documents up to multiple executives with your company, hoping to changed this type of behavior. Also, looks like Target needs to take a look at other retail companies with exceptional customer service like Nordstroms or even Walmart's plus upgrade your merchandise tracking system.
