Went to three local target stores. all of them have now hiring signs on the main doors. I filled out an application at each. 24 hours later i called them all to talk to the hiring manager and asked about my application and what positions are open. They told me that currently they are not hiring. I indicated the signs on the front door say otherwise. I was told that "By company policy they are required to post that on the door to encourage people to fill out applications." Bitch please! i have been looking for work since 3/5/12 and my girlfriend had twins. I am desparate for jobs and nobody is hiring.
I first ordered on 06/12/2012, and was given a delivery date, then I was told that the item was back ordered and given a second delivery date after which I was informed that the order was canceled by Target. A technical problem allowed the item(s) to be ordered even though we can't ship the item(s). This is usually due to either a lack of available inventory from our supplier or an address issue. Now it appears that I am getting the same run around again. This time I had to call to get the information that it was put on back order. I am not a happy customer and do not appreciate this type of service. I can say for sure that this will be the last time I ever order anything from your site again.
Horrible service. Purchased early Christmas Gifts which my friend already had. Took them back and RECEIPT expired. They would not take the receipt. Put it all on my driver license. Took l hr. discussing this with them. When you purchase Christmas gifts early remember you cannot return . I was sent to a call center the first time I called and the girl and guy just did not understand a word I was saying. So I looked up corp. and Carlos or Viel would not help at all. WalMart here I come! No rating only a BIG FAT F FAILURE....Oh have to rate poor is even to good for them.
I would give zero stars if it was an option. I called the Target in Bridgewater, NJ to find out the price of an item. I was told they are "not allowed" to give prices over the phone, but that I could come in and look. Really? I'm allowed in the store? Gee, thanks..... The reason I was calling is because I can't even use their website. Everytime I try to use it I get that darn box saying I need to enable cookies (they are enabled and I can see the cookies), or "click to continue." I click on it, but it appears every two seconds. I found the number for corporate today and I called regarding their so-called "policy" about not giving prices. The girl with whom I spoke said she wasn't aware of such a policy, but that she would "check." I don't know why Target won't give prices over the phone. Do they really think people have nothing better to do than to waste gas or time running to their store for an item which may or may not be there for the price they want? Do they think I will be happy and just want to browse around and eventually spend money after being aggravated? Or is it more likely that I will be angry that I wasted time and gas and that I will leave to go shop elsewhere? I also find it incredulous that someone answering the phones in the corporate office does not know whether or not it is policy that prices are not given over the phone. Had Walmart not screwed up my order I wouldn't have even called Target.
Worse day 09/03/12 I purched a ipod av cord for 39.99paid and left to the car the plug it in and the box was empty, went back inside to tell the manager what happen told me if I didnt check the box before I left the store well to bad and that I bought a 40 dollar box called customer service and also the same thing. They dont value customers I hope they do go broke and I will let all average cunsumer know not to shop there .this happen in El Paso tx
I used to love shopping at Target, I mean LOVE. I have a whole binder pocket full of receipts. Today, was the most humiliating experience ever! I came in to purchase the same items I had the day before since you are only allowed 4 identical coupons each day. The cashier refused, I gave her my receipt from the day before telling her I was not doing anything wrong. She got a manger who also refused. She then called for a "store manager" who came out with no name badge and did not offer her name and told me with a very rude tone her badge was in her office. By this time about ten plus minutes had passed, they had to open more registers and pretty much the whole store was now staring at me. The "store manager" continued to speak to me in tone that was very condescending. I could not take it anymore and told her that she could stop all this nonsense and solve the problem (which was now a store spectacle)let me buy my items and be on my way. I assured her I would not shop there again. She rolled her eyes and then agreed. To add injury to insult, she walks over to the Star Bucks counter and begins to talk about me to the Target worker. Everyone can see and hear her. I was mortified. I was just about done when I realized the cashier did not ring up a whole bag of items she gave to me, I may have been upset but I was not about to steal. I let her know and she rang the items up. I did call corporate. This whole situation could have been handled in a prompt and professional manner. I have worked many years in retail and have been a REAL Store Manager myself. I would never have treated a customer in such a disrespectful way.
when I tried to contact target I got operators in central America. After asking seven times I was transferred to Minneapolis headquarters. There I encountered a person who knew less than the people in Central America, and was transferred to a different department. Where I tried to explain my target.com problem. This person must've been mentally impaired, they had no clue as to what I was talking about. They were supposed to be in the IT department. Then the phone went dead and I realized why I had not shopped at target all these years. They just want sheep, if you have a serious question or a problem with their .com they don't know how to solve it. unfortunately my wife likes target, I will try to discourage or even more from shopping,,
My local, closest to home, Target is unkind to handicapped shoppers. They have a small fleet of motorized scooters for our convenience. HAH! Some convenience! Each time I come I get a scooter and it dies in the far reaches of the store. Today was the END! First scooter I tried was dying. 2nd appeared to be working. Died in the far reaches of the store. Third scooter died on the way to the cash registers. I was going to make a very large purchase, but chose not to as I ran out of time. I own three scooters so I speak from experience. You can only recharge so many times, then you must replace the battery. I have complained numerous times and have watched many others do the same. The various managers smile, nod their heads and DO NOTHING1 I know this is a courtesy item to shoppers, but what kind of courtesy is it if they don't work. This is not just today, it is every day. I cannot use mine because personal scooters do not have the large baskets in which to put merchandise. This is the Target Store at Eastland Center in West Covina, California. I do not have this experience this at other Target Stores. I really wanted to give no stars, but there was no option.
Wesley Chapel NC. Has such a horrible Cashier named Tammy. She is extremely rude seems like she hates coupons.Well if she hates them so much maybe she should ask for a differnt position or never work in a store becuase news flash theres alot of couponers in the area so she better get used to it. Next time I see her talk about me to other cashiers ima give her a piece of my mind.
I had a terrible experience with the target store at the District in Irvine. The store manager Tara was the most unresponsive and rude manager that I have ever met. I bought a go phone from target 2 days back. First day it worked and the next day it got routed to att. I asked what happened and they said that target had not issued out the phone correctly causing it to show as a security problem. They told me to go back to Target and get it issued out again. I take my receipt and go to target but the serial number on the receipt does not match the box serial number. Instead of researching the problem and trying to resolve it they made be go back and forth with ATT and finally the store manager Tara literally implied that I must have stolen the stupid $20 phone. I was so furious that i asked for her supervisor. she said she was the highest person and I couldn't go above her. Finally I called customer relations and had to go to another store to get it exchanged out. This is the first time I have run into such a rude and unhelpful store manager.
********BUYER BEWARE********************* I ordered 4 bar stools totaling $727.56 from Target online. I paid through PayPal using my Mastercard. I returned the stools to the closet Target store who informed me because I paid online through PayPal I would only receive a gift card despite the fact it was within the 90 window and I had my receipt. TARGET refuses to reimburse my money so I can pay my credit card company back the money I use to buy the stools. INSTEAD THEY EXPECT THAT I WILL COME BACK TO BUY IN THEIR STORE $727.56. THIS IS UNREASONABLE EVEN THE STORE CLERKS AGREE THIS IS WRONG!!!!!! I'm filing with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and everyone else I can complain to because this is just not right.!!!!!! Where are the good companies that honor their commitments to their customers. I can guarantee I will NEVER shop there again and will inform everyone I know and ever meet my story. WORD OF MOUTH IS A POWERFUL THING SO IS THE INTERNET.
this page is a Pr nightmare I pray someone is following up on the incidents
upon entering the store in Jeffersontown, KY me and my 3 biracial daughters were discriminated against and followed around the store. while trying on shoes my youngest child informed that her Nike shoes were missing. I informed the customer service desk and the guard on duty and was totally disrespected. The guard was very rude and nasty and never offered us any assistance to help locate her missing shoes. I will never shop there again.
Be careful ordering on line. I ordered a doll pram for my granddaughter but received a cradle instead. They received payment via paypal but cannot supply the item ordered. They refuse to refund the money, will only issue gift card. They have nothing I want. Target obviously does not value their customers, only their money. I would give them 0 stars except that was not an option.
Aug 15, 2012 approx 8pm C.S.T. My entire families, 5 of us including adolescents were going to shop at Target in West Des Moines, Iowa, for school supplies and other essentials. As we were about to enter the store 2 young men were approaching and 1 of them had a shirt with the vulgar swear word f____ing and thinking it was cool. I did tell him that I thought it was offense and my children and perhaps other people would be offended by this---( He said I purchased this at Hot Topic in the mall)This is not freedom of speech here—this is about character and morally wrong, also indecent. I verbally requested security and that something be done---as is done in other public places—not permitted. I spoke to a team lead and they said there was nothing that could be done.. I then instructed my family to leave…I stayed at the front of the store and never left..Until they, the 2 young men were found. I was told they are finishing came to the front made their purchases and left, with vulgarities as they left. I then waiting a few minutes and proceeded to leave the store. The issue is to allow a swear or other offensive words on a t-shirts to be allowed while there are literally hundreds of minors there of all ages and to be allowed by your employees is simply unacceptable. We shall never shop at Target or Dayton Hudson or affiliates again. I am also speaking out to everyone we know in saying Target corporation allows this and condones this type of vulgarity and lack of shall we say what is proper..In my kids school “Character counts”..Apparently Target does not!!!!! A simple please turn your shirt inside out, remove it, or told them this may be offensive to people would of sufficed instead it was not pleasant at all. WBM in Iowa
Your recent TV ad picturing the obese child with the pb & j is not worthy of you. Childhood obesity has been identified as a very major issue in this country. That ad flies in the face of your concern for this most important health issue. Just my opinion.
I have never received such poor customer service as I did from Target. I ordred a coach from Target on line, the estimated delivery date said 07/25 - 8/3. Finally, the company delivering it contacted me on Friday stating that they would deliver the coach the following date between 8 am and 12 pm. I sat and weight unntil 3 pm - no delivery. Finally, I called Target around 3 pm and they said there was nothing they could do until the following day. The next day I sent Target an e-mail - no response. Monday evening I contacted Target again and asked them to do the reseatch, follow up with the delivering company and find out what the problem was. I was treated very poorly on the phone and was told that I would have to call back tomorrow again. Instead of one of their representatives taking ownership of the issue and offering to follow up with me, they kept making me call and call again. Very poor customer serivce, poorly trained reps and one more dissatisfied client (still without a coach)
Sunday you had air conditioners on sale. I rushed over there before 10am when the store opens at 8am. Was told we never got them nor where we ever suppose too. I need one for my elderly father, had an excellent price in the ad, of which was never at the store. Thats even worse then switch and bait...you promise whats in the ad and as we look at sunday ads i guess we are now too call first and see if our local store has what was advertised. its not like you only had 3 or a few...you had NONE......... i dont live close i had to get a babysitter, drive over an hr with todays prices to find out there was never any in the store...... I have always liked target, never had any problems so I didnt think for a second you wouldnt have what you had advertised....... i will never go there again for an item on special... If im in the area...i may stop in but not for anything in the ads
Hello God Bless im writing in concern of that i was trying on some shoes and i put my umberella down, i looked to the side for a few minutes and the umberella was gone. We went to custumer service to check if they could see in the cameras who ha d got the umberella and they told me that they couldnt see anything which doesnt make sense becouse there was a camera directly were we were so if it were a bigger emergency they wouldnt be ready, and the security person gave us a little attittude, my point is that the security wasnt good and i beleive that didnt put much interest in finding the umberella either., The target i went to was a super target in towncenter at orlando florida and the security guys name was eric. Thank you and have a good day.
If I could give no stars I would. My daughter, Kristen Ryba was let go fro a Target store on Pine Ridge Road in Naples Florida TODAY. SHE WORKED THERE FOR 16 YEARS AT VARIUOS LEVELS WITH EXCELLENT REVIEWS. She was told by her supervisor today to hand in her key and call human relations. Nothing in writing with no verbal reason. This supervisor waited until the manager was out of the store to do this. From the day this person was hired, she was negative with my daughter. I feel this supervisor needs a review and retraining so she learns to deal with valued employees. My daughter does not want to return as ,long as this poor manager is still employed. Kristen is a single parent with limited funds. She has worked hard for Target over the years and offered many volunteer experiences for the store. This one person is just a very poor manager of people. Many employees dislike her, work less for her and are shocked that Kristen was let go. I hope someone will look into this. I also feel that anything negative in Kristen's file was placed there in an effort to let her go and is not true. I hope I will get some response from a Target representative before my daughter takes additional legal steps to force this women to admit to her bad behavior and lies. John Ryba
