I would rate Target 00 if given the choice. Bought a Kindle reader 10 weeks ago, today battery is gone, charges and is run down in 1 hour. Took it back to get the product replaced with the box it came in..after long discussions I was told to go and get replacement. In the electrical department I was told that Target had cut all ties with Kindle etc so product could not be replaced. I then asked for a refund to ve put back on my credit card..no way not store policies, I should have brought it back within the 45 days" hello" it was working 45 days ago. I asked for store manager who came and ALSO suggested that I should have brought it back within 45 days. They made a call so that I could speak to the national complaints department." very sorry, but you should have brought it back within the 45 days..Is there something seriously wrong with these people, do they only require 5 years of education to get employed by this disgusting company ..Must be the worst retail store in the USA. They would not give me a store credit nor would they give me any credit note I had to go and find something else in the electrical department there and then?? What could I do? I went and found a different reader, one I didn't want, however paid $149.00 for my Kindle clearly stated on my receipt...My exchange was exactly the same amount...I was then told that I had to pay a difference of $38.00 as the last one sold was $38.00 less.....is this insanity or what? Absolutely blew my top so t they very" kindly" adjusted the price BUT I still had to pay another $6.00. This was the Manhattan Beach store in SoCal. There is something seriously wrong with this company from the top yes, MR STEINHAFEL starting from you and all the way down. You better stay were you are as I doubt that you would ever get employment elsewhere. I will never set foot in any Target store ever again.

I am 96 went to store for simple emergency phone. they sell me att go wireless phone. THEY SELL ME ATT , LG ENCORE. WOULD NOT GIVE INSTRUCTION ON USE OF PHONE.TOLD ME GO HOME READ INSTRUCTIONS IN PACKAGE AT HOME OPEN PACKAGE INSTRUCTIONS TOO SMALL TO READ, EYES NOT TOO GOOD, AS PER DIABETES, NEXT DAY GO BACK SHOW THEM PHONE,ASK HOW TO USE, THEY COULD NOT OPERATE IT, SO HOW CAN I, IF YOUNGER WOULD BE ABLE TO FIGURE IT OUT, BUT AT 96 YEARS ,TOO MUCH. THAT IS what you call target service. now I HAVE A PHONE I CAN NOT USE, THANKS FOR YOUR SALES PERSONEL. MUST I GO SOME WHERE ELSE?is that good service? wow, can get better at dog pound. Two Weeks ago I lost my dad in an untimely Accident! It just so happened, I had planned on paying my Target bill the day my dad went missing. My Bill was due on July 7th and dad was found dead later that night... Due to his untimely death, I did not make it over to Target to pay my bill on July 7th. This resulted in NUMEROUS calls all throughout the week of my dad's Service. I told them that I would pay the bill as soon as I returned, but I had my Dad's Service to tend to first. The Target Representative did not let it go!! She went on to say is there another form of payment that I can provide immediately to handle this... REALLY!!!!! This bill was not even a week late and I recieved NUMEROUS calls!!! I don't have a large balance on this account and I do understand the importance of prompt payments, but there should be some type of consideration or even "When should I call you back" instead of HARASSMENT!!!! I like going to Target, but this left a very bitter taste in my mouth.. You might want to consider some additional Customer Service Training...

bought a ipod recently at target would not work so i brought it back to target.they told me i could not return it because the serial numbers on receipt did not match the ipod.someone switched the new ipod for a used one and now i am out 200.00.target sucks!!!!!!!!!I called corporate and they accused me of switching the ipods.It was for my 9 year old for his birthday,so i had to go to WALMART to buy another ipod.thanks for ruining my sons birthday,and will never shop at target again.bewARE THEY SELL USED ITEMS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT SHOP AT TARGET ON NIAGARA FALLS BLVD @ TONAWANDA!!!!!!!!!!!! A guy I work with has a 9 yr old son who saved his allowance for 2 mths so he could go buy a walkie talkie set he wanted at Target on Niagara Falls Blvd (@tonawanda). When he finally saved enough money his father took him there to buy w...hat he had been saving mths for. When it came time to pay he was told by the sales associate that they could not sell them to him because they could not accept that much change (coin) as payment. Its important to tell you he had two 5 dollar bills seven singles and roughly ten dollars in quarters!! when the sales associate would not budge on his ridiculous decision to not accept the money from his son he asked to see a manager. At this point things turned from bad to worse!! The manager not only would not accept the money from his son for the walkie talkies that he had saved for (all by himself) but then was rude and ignorant about it to the point where his son started to cry in the store. What type of business would not only NOT accept money from a customer but also would cause a young boy to cry!!! I dont know the name of either employee at this Target who was part of this but as far as I am concerned the entire store should be boycotted!!! I am begging you for your support on this. There are many other answers in that area for what ever it is we may need to buy that we can go somewhere else!!! I know this is a long post but please imagine if it were youre child this happened to or nephew or brother. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR!! I hope that if you agree with my feelings on this you will share this post or at the very least share this story with everyone you know!!

Target NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My son saved for 5 weeks to buy walkie-talkies with his own money. He finally saved enough money so we went to buy them. At the check-out they informed us that they will not take his money saved because it was dollar bills & quarters Policy says only 3 Dollars in change is allowed at purchase time. Putting my son in tears therefore pissing me off!!!!!!!!! compeletly!!!!!!!!! I bought something at Target today, usually I dont shop there. I am now bringing the item back after I saw the news today on Targets special cards for gay marriages and t- shirts to fund a cause that is totally against the word of God. I wonder why Target, JC Penney and other companies are coming out in support of the alternative life style except that I would bet they are hoping for lots more shoppers coming to them. They probably dont even give a rip about the people themselves. These companies need to just stick to selling the product and get out of the promoting of alternative life styles. There will be consequences to their decisions. Sad we have abandoned truth, honesty and righteousness for what???

Your RETURN policy is Awful!!! I tried to exchange a swimtrunk size for my son last week, it was a birthday gift, when I asked to switch the size I was told I had to first return the trunks and then rebuy the right size, I did not agree with this but went along with it only to be charged a $2.00 return fee????? I have shopped at your store weekly for the past 5 years well no longer, I'm done with TARGET and so are several of my friends and family. I was upset but went home and called a manager who told me if I did not like the policy dont shop here. Maybe you should put more focus into customer relations and not into hiring RUDE, uneducated people who feel that they are above you! VERY DISSAPOINTED and SORRY I HAVE SPENT ANY MONEY WITH YOU OVER THE YEARS!!!!!!

Dear Target, My name is Marke Sinclaire and I currently live in Eureka CA. I am currently a Marine Biology major at nearby Humboldt State University. I think that it is great that you contribute so much to education, nearly $1 billion. Yet I am amazed that when I submitted a job application at the Eureka CA. Target, I was turned down because they were looking for people who wanted to make Target a career. I am just trying to earn my way through college and I am not asking for any handouts. I just want the chance to work and earn enough to pay my way. It seems hypocritical to me that Target will donate so much to education, yet will not hire someone who is going to college to make himself better. I am a good and honest worker and I know how to be professional in the workplace. I am 53 and I know what is expected there and I know that I can outwork any 2 of the kids and a lot of the adults that I see working there, if only I could get a job there. Thank you for your time.

Id like to complement your Target team workers at the Rosemead California store. I usually shop at Walmart but because of the great service and not too bad prices i find myself shopping more there at that Target store. Manager Daina was very helpful and courteous with a problem i had and to my amazement followed up with a call....retail needs more managers like Daina!

I was pushed off the road by a (Hit and Run ) Target truck a week ago. have been calling target for a week , still nothing . the driver was ticketed for leaving the scene.You would think Target would give a call to make sure we were all right and to make good on the repair of our car ( $7000.00 worth ) if it was their family member they would be having a cow .I won't be going anywhere near a target store ever again .

As i was reading a few of the comments I saw that your compony is behind gay marraige, God will judge. I was going to fill out for the red card and I was asked for my social security number after i had handed my license and a check to the clerk. i think that that is to much. i do not want a credit card only a red card. this policy needs to be changed.
