Today, I and my family went into the CHULA VISTA, CA (on 1240 Broadway) Target to shop (as my mother loves to shop here and I find the layout refreshing). However, today, upon entering the store I and my daughter had to use the bathroom. One friendly rep. pointed me in the direction of the bathroom (I already knew but I thanked her anyways). When I got to the hallway leading to the bathrooms, there was a cleaning woman there blocking the entrance. I was sure that I knew what this meant but she had just let a Hispanic woman through and there were no other persons behind me that would have caused a long line of people suddenly needing to use the bathroom. "Closed!" the woman (name tag Isabel) rudely barked at me. When I politely asked if I could just run in real quick and that my daughter had to use the facilities. She shook her head and, with a deep accent, barked closed again. I reminded her that she just let at least one other person through and she, with incredibly broken English, stated 'only she' then looked at me like I was stupid. My daughter, then embarrassed by being denied access publicly like this, said it was ok and turned and walked away. I asked Isable, politely again, 'could I just use the mirror' and she rudely turned me down and stated 'no closed'. I asked the nearest cashier to speak with a manager and she turned her blinking light on. No manager came so I went to customer service and requested the number to the corporate office and was given their toll-free#; which, I immediately called and reported the incident. The woman was rude, I believe her actions to be racially motivated, she did not seem to have a concern for customer satisfaction at all and people like she should NEVER be in a position where they EVER have to deal with the public! Making matters worse, the security guard came over and started making a scene and trying to intimidate me because I was on the phone with Target's corporate office (or so I was told that it was the corporate #). In my hindsight assessment of the situation, I would honestly say that Target needs to hire people that SPEAK ENGLISH, that are personable (all of them NOT just some of them) and that care about the customers - who in the long run pay their salaries.

In May I was going to buy a camera for my wife I gave them a check, Target told me that they could not accepted the check because I did not write enough checks in target. Then I ask to speak to the manager so the manager came with a policeman over looking us. Is this the way Target treat paying customers. The manager said there was nothing she could do it was company policy. I Told them I would not shop at target again. So I went to wal mart bought the same camera for the same price with the same check that Target turn down. This store is in Carrollton Ga.

Yes we have 15 boxes. drove to store from Roebuck. got there...went to isle W12 no Pop scert 100 caloie Butter 94% Fat free. request manager (Linda). I'm sorry,but no compinsation. Shoplifting policy? Does not exist at target. Team members cannot get into any altercation with people stealing from the store. If we see people steal or attempting to, what's our top priority? Go approach them and ask them if they need help with anything. If they say no, we leave them alone. And you can't be stop unless you walk out of the store with the items. Even then, the AP or security cannot stop you. You can technically tell them you're stealing and walk with the item right in their face, there's nothing they can do. They file for a police report but that's it.
I've just realized what Target does for the very, very sick children and their families at the St. Jude's Cancer Research Hospital in Memphis Tn. I can honestly say it gave me chills to see what you guys are doing. I was concerned about a family and them needing finacial assistance to buy food doing the time they are at the Target house (which is unbelievable in it's self. I was just told the families would receive assistance on a weekly basis to shop at Krogers. I'm not sure if Krogers is involved or this is completely Target, but thank you. Americans before we knock our corporation which seems to be in Vogue currently, we need to know what some of these companies are doing for the truly needed. My family will be new shoppers to Target. THANK YOU-You deserve my business.

Hello.. I visited the store on June 15,2012 North Beach Miami Central and my EBT card for the amount of $36.39 after I was told it was voided, when I returned home from vacation I noticed the charge was still there.. I called the north Miami store and spoke with Stella extensively, who turned out to be very polite but unprofessional and uneducated on how to handle problems with out of town customers!! Please return the Photo department to your stores. It was so customer friendly, convenient and price conscience. This department was a great value to the consumer. Why was it taken away?
Waited in line at the pharmacy to get my rx, that was on auto refill, meaning the script was ready. After waiting in line for 10 minutes with 2 people ahead of me. The PHARAMACIST pulled down the door and said she was going to lunch! I tried talking to her and specified that I was waiting in line and she told me to come back! The next morning called the Target Pharmamcy manager, after being on hold for 5 minutes and really felt like nothing was resloved! So me and my family will not be using Target again for shopping or prescriptions!
I made a large purchase with my bank visa credit card but was not asked for some sort of identity to verify I was the owner of the visa card. I asked the cashier didn't she want to see my I. D she said no it is not their policy to do anything more, If swiped and authorized they need nothing more. I called the corp office and verified the cashiers reply. I told corp i believed their policy was unconcerning of thieir customers safety considering the problems we face with identity theft. I believe they are not being diligent in fraud prevention practices. The corp rep read from a script that essentially read that if card swiped is authorized its well and good. He was uunable to provide me with their fraud prevention statistics with their in place policy. I told him that because of other businesses like theirs In the last 2 years my visa credit card number and name has been falsely used to the tune of over $1500. Though my bank has not held me reasponsible for the charges it comes with other inconveniences, such as waiting for new card, calling my ins, utilities co and all businesses that pull from the card. Its clear Target doesnt want to be on target about fraud prevention. Realizing Targets indifference to customer safety on method of purchase ,I plan to look for a store that chooses to be protecting of its rightful paying customers, cares about how fraud effects it customers and wants to be diligent on FRAUD PREVENTION
I placed an order on your web page. It never arrived, I called customer service and they said me they did not find the address and will return my money on a egiftcard, which I ahve not received and we have more than 1 month with this. I started to think that target or some ona in traget stole my money. I will never buy anything in target.

After unpacking a bookshelf delivered today, I discovered the end piece was badly damaged. I called to see if I could get a replacement piece and was told that not only was that not an option, but if I wanted a refund I had to either send it back or bring it to a store. That is not an option as I have a very small car which is why I had it delivered to begin with. The bookshelf delivered in bad condition was an inconvenience. The lack of customer service was a major inconvenience. Now to ask me to find a way to return this item for a refund and offer nothing for my time and inconvenience is an insult!

Not very happy with Targets Return Policy. Bought a baby item online and because of the sex of the baby I tried to switch that item for a different color. The item was bought more than 90 days ago and instead of $118 refund, Target (Beavercreek, OH) offered to take the item back at $78. To all the target customers out there: Please be aware of the return policy and buy someplace else with a more relaxed policy.

I SOMETIMES SHOP AT THE TARGET IN ST PETE/SEMINOLE FL.WHY CAN'T THEY GET THEIR CHECK OUT RIGHT. I CAN SWIPE EBT AT ANY STORE IN TOWN, INCLUDING GAS STATION STORES, BUT AT TARGET THEY HAVE TO SWIPE IT FOR YOU. THEN HALF THE TIME IT DOESN'T WORK AND AFTER TRYING TO RING ME UP AT TWO OR THREE REGISTERS I HAVE TO GO TO CUSTOMER SERVICE TO CHECK OUT. BY THIS TIME MY FROZEN GROCERIES ARE MELTING. THAT BEING SAID-THEIR PRICES HAVE COME DOWN TO BETTER COMPETE WITH WAL-MART. AND SOME OF THE MARKET PANTRY ITEMS ARE REALLY GOOD.
I've never had a bad Target Experience. I Like their stuff, the service is good and I've never had any issues. I don't know why everyone has their panties in a knot about Target being supportive of homosexual marriage.It is my opinion that all of these people giving Target single stars based on the fact that they are small minded, judgemental, religious fanatics (aka Idiots)trying to push their own self righteous agenda, and those reviews should be ignored completely.They're obviousely boycotting Target just as they have boycotted common sense.Many Amricans are dumb (I'm Amrican to so it's ok), if we're not complaining about trivial things, or protesting, or boycotting something for the most stupid of reasons, we're just not happy.
