I am ten years old and went to the Pasadena Supercuts on Washington Blvd. to get my hair feathers this summer. One of the feathers came out so I went again to have it reattached and the manager started ACCUSING saying that this is not one of her feathers and she has seen all of her feathers and this was not one of them. I definitely got it there AND I remembered the lady who put it in badly, so I went up to her and asked, "don't you remember putting this feather in my hair"? She replied, "no"! So the manager walked up to my mom and made a big scene when two families we know just happened to be there! She doesn't know HOW TO TREAT HER COSTUMERS! It is a shame because I recommended MANY, MANY kids from my school, all the camps I went to this summer, family, my swim and soccer teams and LOTS of other friends. Now I regret recommending Supercuts and NEVER wish to go back. The manager was SO rude! NEVER GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't even deserve 1 star but that is the lowest I can give it!
The girls that cut hair should really get more training because they cannot cut hair. Also I was overcharged for the visit. This was in Spring Hill TN.
I went to the Supercuts of Willow Grove, PA and asked for 1/4" to be trimmed from my hair. She cut it EXTREMELY SHORT AND MY SIDEBURNS WERE UNEVEN. I am so disappointed and embarassed to go outside.
My husband just left your store on Renee Dr, Myrtle Beach, SC. He had hair 4" above the shoulder length, layered that needed shaping when he went in. The girl asked what he wanted, he told her to shape it, leave the length & just thin it so that it wouldn't be so wild. She asked about the length in relation to his ear & he told her definately below the ears. She broke out a pair of clippers & he knew it was too late then. He walked out with a BUZZ CUT! The girl even commented in her thick Southern drawl, "Boy, that sure is alot of hair on the floor!" When I called to complain to the manager, the only response was, "Well, I didn't cut it!" My husband is in a rock band, now he could work for FoxNews! Since I see the same complaint several times on this page, I suggest that you either train your "stylists" to listen to the customers or just put up a picture of Larry the Cable Guy & let everyone know that they'll be walking out with a Red Neck haircut.
Will never go to super cuts again. I wish you would allow attachment of photos so you can see the truly shitty hair cut I received. My 4 year old neighbor could not have done worse. I should have known better to allow my hair to be cut by someone with 4 piercings coming out of her nose. It anyone is interested it was Supercuts 9797 on Circle Drive in Colorado Springs Sales ticket 416 transaction 80560 on 7/22/11. the back of my head is 5 different lengths did not shave hair off neck and there at total likely 10 different lengths not the tapered swing cut I asked for. SUPER CUTS SUCKS The only good news is it will eventually grow back. In the mean time I need to find someone to try to repair this cut so I can go out in public again.
Biscayne Blvd. North Miami,Florida- I am a regular customer at that store, i had wonderful service for many years by your employees that have been at that location for long time, customer's like knowing that when they go their they can have the same person. Your company has changed greatly, now you have employees that do not speak any English, this is Still America and we all speak the same language. ethinics of a person has nothing to do with speaking our language.When people work they receive Dollars not euros or pasos. When i go to other counrties, you do your best to speak their language.I received a hair cut with DRY HAIR,I received a mustach removeal, still have hair on my upper lip.I am very diappointed in Supercusts.
I am reviewing Supercuts in Branford ,Ct. I just had an unpleasant experience there, because Pat at the desk did not come even close to honoring the wait time she had given me. Generally, she seems indifferent to customers. Today she was rude to me, so I left. My family and I will take our business elsewhere.
Im writing about the philadelphia cottman ave. Store. The "manager" Jewel?? Is very unprofessional. She was directly in front of the store smoking when i arrived. I went in and had to wait for her to finish her cigarette before anyone acknowledged me. She then sat me in the chair and attempted to touch my hair without washing her smokey hands. She was having personal conversations about her sisters husband cheating. On top of all of this she was texting every other minute. Her teen daughter was also "hanging out" in the salon. Again making her have to stop. She was the most unprofessional manager ive ever seen. The worst part is because of her socializing i walked out with a lousy cut. Wasted time. Never go to this store or "stylist" because if this is the store manager i can only imagine what the other employss are like.
Everything has been Fine at My Wal Mart Super Cuts Only one Concern? Why don't the Girls have those Floor Pads to stand on? and be required to wear proper shoes for being on their feet for long hours?
2767 Montgomery Hwy # 10, Dothan, AL. I was last at this store on March 24, 2011. Went today, May 4, 2011, to get my near monthly trim/cleanup. I find an empty store front. Sign gone, building emptied... And the next closest SuperCuts is in Marianna, FL. Just a little too far of a travel for a haircut. Disappointed that within a month the place is gone with no news about it. It also means, with no SuperCuts within 25 miles, that SuperCuts won't be receiving any more of my business.
I went Supercuts today in Ormond Beach Florida, on N. Atlantic Ave. (Belle Air Plaza) and have a very unpleasent and upsetting experience. I am very upset because this is an issue that can not be fixed without a few months of hair growth. I told the hairdresser exactly what I wanted in three different ways, visually, verbally and with a picticure in a book. However, my hair was not even close. After waiting for 45 min. The MAN sat me in the chair and asked me what I wanted. At this time my hair was one length and it was down to my shouldes. He turned me around and 1.)I pointed to the area (it was about 1- 1 1/2 inches shorter). As I was pointing 2.)I clearly said just a inch or an inch and a half shorter then stack it up with long layers and angeled longer in the front. Then he got a book and 3.)I showed him what I wanted and said again but 2 inches longer. As he cut the back I could not see and he turned me around and there was 6 inches taken off just on the bottom layer then stacked about another 8-9 inches shorter. Nothing was touched in the front or sides it looked liked that he took the siccors and cut a chunk right from the back with the rest of my long all around, NO STYLE, NO DEFFINATION< NOTHING just a chunk ou the back. I said this is not what I should you in the book or said I told you an inch then satcked long layers. He argued and kept saying you pointed to here. The manager said thats a stacked bob I'm a hairdresser and I would never do what they did to me. Thre was a language barier but I said one inch two times and showed him in the picture. Now I am very upset and it's uneven I did not have to pay but now I have NO HAIR.
The last couple of days I have been in touch with your store on Morada who has a very customer friendly and professional staff always willing to go the extra mile. I was looking for the Freeze N Shine refill which they were out of due to the sale going on, so they said they could have picked some up for me if I wanted. The price was $17.99 and the second bottle 50% off. I said that I could pick it up instead. They called the Pacific avenue store to hold 2. When I arrived there, the girl said it was $20.79, then I mentioned what the other girl at Morada had said. So, she went to get her manager, and the manager pointed to the bottle and showed me the price, like I was stupid, and proceeded to charge me over $45.00 with tax. I said that's okay and left. I then went to Trinity Parkway store and they were going to charge me the same thing as Pacific Avenue store. Then I mentioned what Morada store had said and they said, that they will give it to me for that price and that Morada store did not update their price. The fact is when I checked online for the sale it is still at $17.99, the sale price. So, I recommend questioning your local supercuts for sales that they are not disclosing to the customer after it is advertised online. I believe Supercuts Corporate Office needs to get out and start checking on their so called managers and associates who are gouging their customers. By the way the date of this incident is 25Apr11 between 2 and 3 PM. Should not be that hard to find out who was in charge and why this is going on in your company, there are a lot more honest people out there that need work than managers that a lying and teaching their employees how to do it. As for a manager if she is a manager 1 strike and you out a there, this is unsat and unacceptable. As for Morada, Stockton, CA, keep up the great customer service, you will go far.
I took my Grandson to get his hair cut and we showed a picture out of one of your books that he wanted. We know that all hair is different, but this hair cut was not even close to it. In fact it looks so bad and is so uneven and I dare not take him to get it fixed, because it is to short already. Where we had it done is at Supercuts in Merced, CA. on G st. I usually always go there. I don't know if I will go back. The way she cut his hair is like someone just starting. I feel sorry if she gets ahold of someone else.
ON JAN 14 2011 I WENT TO THE SHOP IN CHESTER SPRINGS PA FOR A TRIM. I TOLD SALLY DO NOT CUT THE FRONT TOP OR SIDES JUST TRIM BEHIND THE EARS. WELL ALL WAS CUT. EITHER SHE DID CARE OR UNDERSTAND WHAT I WANTED. FOR THE RECORD MY HAIR WAS LONG................I EVEN SHOWED HER A PICTURE OF HOW I WANTED THE TRIM. ABOUT A MONTH LATER I STARTED TO SEE LONGER HAIRS STICKING OUT ALL OVER THE AREAS SHE TRIMMED. I CALLED THE SHOP SPOKE TO A YOUNG LADY WHO TOLD ME IF SALLY JUST TRIMMED MY BACK MY HAIR WOULD LOOK LIKE MUSHROOM. FURTHER MORE SHE WOULD TELL THE MANAGER AND YOUR OFFICES EVEN SAYING I WOULD GET A CALL.....NO CALL............NOW IT IS APRIL AND MY HAIR IS HARD TO COMB............I CALLED THE SHOP AGAIN...VERY ANGRY..........SEEMS MY HAIR WAS THINNED AND AFTER OVER 2 MONTHS YOUR SHOP MIGHT CUT LIKE THIS FOR REPEAT BUSINESS...........NEVER WILL VISIT YOUR SHOPS AGAIN..........IN TWO WORDS YOU STINK
502 N Union St Ste 12, Olean, NY 14760. I went in last Friday, March 18th, to get a trim (my hair was to the middle of my back when straightened). I asked that an inch of my ends to be cut off and layered. The front of my hair, couldn't ask for anything nicer! The back however, looks like it was blunt cut in areas and chipchopped in the other areas. This is not how I asked my hair to be done. Since my hair is curly, I asked them to straighten it for me to see the outcome and determine what kind of tip I should leave for her services. Looking in the mirror, with my hair natural and curly, you cannot tell. Since I work with children, I always have my hair pulled back for work and a hat on for those "just incase critter moments". I had a HUGE event taking place Saturday, March 26th so I straightened my hair for this. The front...awesome! The back...not so much...this is when I discovered the hack job that I had received. I had a coworker take a picture of it with my phone so I can ACTUALLY see what she had done to me. I went in four times yesterday, March 29th, to speak with the manager, Corinne. I was told that she was due in at 11:45. I went to an appointment I had and returned at 12:30 to be told, "She isn't in yet but she said that she'll be here at 12:45." I ran an errand and came back at 1:00 pm to see the manager still wasn't there. I came back at 1:20 to see she STILL hadn't come in. I am not happy with the outcome of this but rest assure that I will NEVER return to there!
The supercuts on University St. SUCKS in Las Cruces, NM. The manager Michelle is a rude B****. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK, THEY ARE ALL RUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have never been treated so rude b4 in my life . I went to get a haircut and they seemed annoyed and over worked . My daughter asked for a color they said they coudlnt do it. I asked them if they could color my hair they wanted 50$ . Then i asked them where the supercuts training studio was because i signed up for classes the next day . They said we cannot give you any information about that even though the studio was 5 feet behind them . When i got to the studio the next morning if your not there by 9 am they lock the door hence i got there at 8:30 am they taught us c shapings and pinched partings and they emphasized sectioning the hair and it had to be perfect. If any one hair was hanging over they would make you do it over . The teacher picked on me form the moment i walked in and acknowledged the other girls and treated me like dirt . She made me do my sections over and over again claining they were not neat enuff . she graded us on the cleanliness of my shoes and if i had black on which everyone else was wearing . I told them my shop said we coudl wear colors and they looked at em funny . I thnk they only hire young girls that are pretty and wear alot of makeup coz there sections werent perfect but she said nothing to them . i feel she was prejudice against me form the start and never gave me a fair chance and asked me to leave in front of the others instead of talking to me after class . i felt so discouraged since i quit my job of 2 and a half years to train with them and i love cutting hair and its been my life for over 15 years . I think Super cuts needs to work on customer service and how to treat people instead of doing c shapes and pinched partings . i had a haircut in another supercuts and it wasnt what my daughter wanted not what i wanted and they werent sure how to texturize hair which made me think they were incompetant > Never in my life was i treated so bad and if this is what your franchise is teaching people you really ought to rethink about how you ruin young girls and stylists carreers in general because hair is their life and job and you reject people because of race and because they dotn wear enough makeup? you ought to change or close down coz people dont want rude people to ruin there hair
Supercuts, Belleville New Jersey. As I'm reading, I notice that there are A LOT more complaints than compliments to your franchise. How dare a company with such a recognizable name, have ZERO quality control. Just becasue I'm getting an aforable hair cute does not mean that I should get up from a half hour long hair cut and look like I'm wearing a wig!. I don't understand if the people who work there are complete failures at real hairstyling and hair cuttting, and supercuts is just being generous enough to give them a petty job. The service is horrible, and I guess I should have known better when the hair of the girl cutting mine, looks like crap. Not only did she do an extreamly horrible job cutting my hair, after I extensively explained what I wanted, but beforehand she washed my hair with shampoo that smelled like it was for colored hair- I have NEVER dyed my hair and did not need a shampoo I can still smell after shampooing my own Hair-TWICE. This is a disgrace, and as a business owner myself, I don't understand how some one can take so many complaints and not do anything about it. If you keep treating you customers like garbage and cutting their hair in the same mannor, eventually you're name is going to be tarnished for life. Damn right you're going to lose my business, and everyone who I know will hear my complaint again this name, brand and company. Be responsible, and care!
After today's experience I will never go into the King of Prussia PA Supercuts again!! I walk in and ther were several people waiting. The girls were busy so I sat and waited. Then after sitting there at least 30 minutes someone else came in, only this time they took his phone number. So I stood up and said excuse me but I've been waiting here at least 30 minutes and nobody took my number so I was here before them. They put my number in the system and 5 minutes later they came looking for someone named Sage and that person wasn't there SO they took the one that came in after me! Before I could say anything it was too late. So I know it will not be long for me to be called because I can see one of the girls is almost done with her client. So about 5 minutes or so go by and this woman and her baby come in and sit down. This is the first time I've seen this woman since I've been there and now I've been there at least 45 minutes. The girl finishes with her client, comes up and asks for Sage again and it happens to be the woman with the baby!!!! So I stood up this time and said they were not seeing people in turn and since it only takes 5 minutes to do my buzz cut I should be next. They told me that the woman with the baby had been in there an hour before and put her number in. I told them they lost a customer and left.
I went to supercuts for a haircut and when I went there no customers were there and their were 2 employee there siting doing nothing .i asked for a haircut and they asked how am I paying because they don't take credit cards any more and only take cash.I said I wanted to pay bty crdeit card and then they said wait a minute I just forgot it works.The woman that cut my hair could not understand me because she couldn't speak good english.She was hatian,which I am not prejuduce in anyway,but I thought they should have someone who can understand english better.I told her I wanted my haircut short and after 3 or 4 minutes she said I was done and i told her I wanted it shorter.She cut a little more off and I told her I wanted it shorter and she said she ite looks good and can't do it any shorter.The woman did not know how to cut hair at all ,She cut my hair all even and did not even cut the back straight.I did not want to pay but I did not want to get arrested so I paid and I would never go there again.
