Applebee's is the best....I went there at night after I got screwed from subway for the 6" sub. Applebee's treat us VETS with FULL RESPECT. This is my 3rd year going to Applebee's FIRST CLASS everything...They are AMERICAN...They are VERY PATRIOTIC...Well worth it....

On Veteran Day I and another KOREAN War Vet passed a Subway at the River Crossing location in New Port Richey, Florida. I told him of the Advertisement I had Seen re: a free six inch sub. The Girl at the counter said she knew nothing of it and went inside to speak with the manager. He did not even give me the courtesy of coming out to speak with me but she told me that in no certain terms would they do that. We were embarrassed and left. I was a customer there and they will not see me again. So we went to Applebees and were treated nicely and the manager came over to us near the end of our meal and thanked us for serving our country.

Please tell the production companies and NBC that you won't support not giving their crew health and pension hours. You selling healthy living. Please tell them what they are doing is wrong. The crew of the Biggest Loser deserves health and pension hours. Do what is right

Just wanted to let everyone know that all the subways did NOT honor the veterans day advertisement for a free sub. Especially the ones owned by foreigners, figured the corp office might want to know.

I owe Subway a very big appology. I am extremely sorry that I fought for your freedom to act like complete jackasses infront of my brothers and sisters and disrespect them for their service. I personally got injured fighting for their freedom that they don't give a damn about and take advantage of. As much as you charge for a damned sandwich that even a homeless person would'nt even give to their dog to eat, you can't even afford to say thank you to a vet by giving them a free 6 inch sub? What an insult! You all must be Democrats because you lie just like "Barry" obama. (I don't even have enough respect for the spear chuckin' pygmy to capitalize his last name)

Well to say the least, I see a lot of my fellow Veteran's were "FALSLEY INFORMED" about the so called "Free Six Inch" sandwich offered to veterans on Veterans day. I went to the Subway here in Elk Grove, CA. off of Laguna and Franklin Blvd with my daughter to get a 6 inch sandwich. To my surprise the people working there never heard of this offer and they looked at me as if I were speaking in tongues. I left the Subway kinda dissapointed. I told my wife this and she said why would they advertise this offer and not honor it? Hmmm perhaps Subway doesn't understand what the word honor is, as we veterans do, we honorably served our country without complaint. I guess Subway thought it would be a good marketing ploy to get us vets to the store and when they say we don't offer that, well what the heck let's buy a sandwich anyway's. No way! It is very sad to see this type of behaviour from a sandwich shop! I thought to myself hmmmm one lousy six inch sandwich for 19yrs of honorable service....(by the way just 7 months left and I have my 20yrs honorable service to this awesome nation). Anyways back to my venting, my wife said "honey" let's call the other subways in the Sacramento area...guess what? They all said the same thing...we are not offering this to any vets!!!! My dad said, one of the worst things a person can do is LIE!!! I think its especially bad that you don't mind lying to honorable vets that allow subway to have their business! If any of you vets read this, please don't by from subway anymore, infact tell all your friends and family what they did on Veteran's day. Lying isn't very honorable, and if you don't offer this, then DON'T ADVERTISE THIS OFFER! I am asking my fellow veterans to not bring your business to Subway ever again, instead look for a TOGO's and eat their sandwiches. Heck they have awesome sandwiches, my personal favorite from TOGO's is the hot pastrami. Atleast TOGO's didn't lie, and advertise anything free...I can respect that. Also just to let my fellow veterans know, Applebees does honor us Veterans and I had a great meal from them and I consider Applebees very patriotic. So try Applebees next year my fellow Vets they are honorable.

Neither me or 3 of my friends could find one Subway location in the Cleveland Oh area that particapated in the free six inch Sandwich for Veterans on Veterans day. All of the stores either said "we are not particapating or we don't know anything about it". Good job of getting the word out Subway. You guys stink. You've lost my business. On the other hand Applebee's did an absolutely incredible job. Along with a free entree they provided a welcoming atomosphere for Vets that bordered on having a huge reunion. Special Thanks to a young lady named Jen, who works at the Applebee's in Avon Ohio. Your service and smile were incredible. I'm sure all the vets you served that day appreciated it. Keep up the good work.

This a a copy of my email that was sent to all Sikorsky Aircraft Employees around the USA from me. Just to advise all of my Brother and Sister SVA members to be prepared if you go to a Subway store today. My experience with Subway during lunch today was very disheartening. I inquired about the free 6" sub that was offered to all active duty members and veterans. As I was in line ordering they had no clue as to what I was talking about. The young man who was working on the 6" tuna sub I ordered was just throwing the stuff on like I was a freeloader and directed nasty looks at me all the while. I told them to forget about it and that I'd pay for my food. The lady behind the counter then wanted to drag it out a bit and wanted to look at the email that we all received. I was embarrassed and humiliated. I showed her the email that I received from the Sikorsky Veterans Association and she made a copy of it. She thought it over and agreed to give me the sandwich at no charge. I purchased a soda and a bag of chips. If you should decide to patronize a Subway franchise or any of the other businesses listed on the SVA email today be sure to bring a copy of the email with you as proof. I hope that what happened to me this afternoon won't happen again and I will be forwarding this email to Subway's corporate offices so that this does not happen in the future. I served proudly in the U.S. Army and also served during Operation Desert Storm. George

Today is Veterans Day. My husband has served this nation for 26 yrs in the Navy & continues to serve. Today we went to Subway Store #24685 in Liburn, Ga to be served a free 6in sub to honor our Veterans, only to find out that this location was not participating!!!!! This was not only a shock, but an insult!!!! I know that owners of your franchise have to meet certain requirements to own one of your franchise. It amazes me that our military's service allow all of us to be free and the oportunity to own a business in this nation & your franchises are not ALL particating in honoring our military today!! As the corporate office for Subway, YOU CAN CORRECT THIS! ALL of your franchises should participate or ALL should not. It should not be just some. Don't advertize a promotion to honor our military if all of your franchises are not going to particpate! I am very superised at corporate Subway for allowing this to happen. I just wanted to inform you of this grave insult to our military and my extreme dissatisfation! My husband will continue to keep you safe & free even though Subway does not seems to think its important enough to HONOR OUR MILITARY! Sincerely, Deborh Edge Wife of Capt. William Edge US Navy 770-978-0376

I just wanted to make a suggestion!! I see that San Fransisco is banning toys from Happy Meals! I think this is your chance to pull more people in to make better choices. I think you should start marketing cooler toys in your kids meals!! Advertise about it! When kids see these cools toys they are going to want to have your kids meals!! I personally don't ever buy happy meals for my kids just because they are so gross and unhealthy! My boys LOVE subway!! Just a thought!! I am praying they will make ALL fast food restaurants do this!! :)

The subway at 4100 E. Colfax is the most unfriendly place the workers appear to givfe less of a damn the manger SIMON had no compassion when I called back up there to complain about my sanwich. I orderd a club and they didn't get ham nor cheese . When I asked what were they gonna do to make this better all I was told that I would hove to purchase another sandwich and when I asked for the District Manger I was told no. I didnt have to hac=ve another sandwich but he could have at lease offerd some sort of discount.Any jester would have been appriectiated

Hello, I just got off the phone with your "customer service" representative. I went to the Subway store in Chapel Hill Mall's food court (as my co-workers and I do often), and used my debit card. My total was $5.11, it was taken out of my account as well as an additional $5.00. This is not the first time that this has happened and I am not the only person that this has happened to. The dentist I work with had the same thing happen, when he addressed it with Subway, he got an apology and a gift card. I would have just been happy with an apology. Instead I got a "there's a glitch in the system and it will "fall off". Well fortunately, I had enough funds in my account to cover the "extra $5 glitch special" that you are running right now. However, my employee Danielle did not. She got charged two separate charges from Subway at Chapel Hill, the second one caused her account to overdraw and she then incurred NSF fees. As an office manager, I find your "glitch" to be completely unacceptable and a little suspicious. I will no longer eat at Subway and I will let everyone know to only use cash if they do. I have worked in customer service since I was 13yrs old... I have always done everything in my power to please customers and rectify and unhappy situations. I am always saddened when I find that others don't always do the same. Your "glitch" cost my employee $63.00. That's a ridiculous amount to pay for a mediocre sandwich and poor customer service!!!

I was at subway in Walkertown, N.C. last night (November 4, 2010) After working two jobs I was in need of food a wanting to eat healthy, I choose Subway. I did got to the drive through and place my order. After getting home and sitting down to have a late dinner only to find my sub on the hardest dryest bread I have ever had. It cut into the roof of my mouth and was so dry going down whike the bottom to the sandwich was soaked and soggy. Needless to say this was not much to look forward to after working 13 hours and not getting a lunch break so that I can leave in tome to get to my second job. While I'm happy to have a job and blessed to have two, I'm working two jobs just to keep the lights on in my house. It's not like I have the extra money, but since it was late and I have two jobs to go to this morning, I choose to eat out. My money is hard earned and I'm very selective when and where to spend any money other than to pay bills, I was very unhappy and still went to bed hungry. While I do love subway and eat there at lest once a week, I will think before making this mistake again. I couldn't take it back and sk for another one since I was already home and very tired. I'm not sure why this expeience was so bad, but I do hope that since Walkertown is a small but fast growing community, the service and food will improve. My boss treats me to lunch everyday, and many days that is the only meal I eat. Party due to my schedule. I;m sure I will not be asking to eat at subway any time soon. Hopefully, you will be able to look into this and make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Sincerely, Cindy McDonald P.O. Box 371 Walkertown, NC 27051

I was at subway in Wal-Mart Conway S.C.Nov.1st with my service dog.and the manager name is Jim, came and told me that nobody wants to eat around a stinking dog. I said my dog don't stink and she is a service dog. I showed him the reg.card for the dog, and he said, all dogs stink and for me and my dog to leave and not come back. I've never been so humiliated in my life.

The subway in Downtown Flint, MI located in the University of MI Pavillion really sucks!!! Up until now, I have tolerated the food...which by the way is pretty good for s sub. But now, they have gone too far. I ordered a steak and cheese on a flat bread...and they put a few sprinkles of cheese on it. I'm so so serious...this is rediciulous. The manager said this came down from COrporate that they can only put a pinch of cheese on each sub. WOW....well i'm done with this subway. I'm so over it! Can you imagine a steak and cheese with a sprinkle of cheese...when they baked it for me the cheese looked like a bald wig...wow

i ordered a 5 foot ham and turkey for my daughters baby shower there was 1 piece of ham and turkey 1 was so ashamed to serve it that my husband had to go to the store and get meat to put on it i wouldntbe embarrased. id a been better of ordering single foot longs for half the price id a got a hella lot more meat my god my daughter eats there 3 to 4 times a week its what she craves being pregnant so we know how much meat should a been on it its just awful i feel like i wasted 65.00 for that.

i visited subway in tucson arizona store # 45007 515 E. Grant Rd. tucson az. suite 101 this was the worse service i have ever had when i walked in i did not get no greeting no hi nothing, the girl behind the counter was taking a order but did not acknowledge me which it seemed very rude, only one customer in front of me i waited 5 min to get my order which was a breakfast combo, then i went to coffee machiene it was empty so i had to wait another 4 min very poor service, seemed like the subway employee did not like her job at all and to top it off the coffee was not good very strong i will not be visiting this subway again...

I've been calling the Subway in Freedom Ca (831)763-0583 all day today to place an order for a meeting we have tomorow and i had no luck - NO ONE ANSWERS - then i try to call corporate to share with them my concerns and guess what!! NO ANSWER!! i guess a custumer is only good in person- My next move is to go over to the freedom site when i get out of work and see what kind of custumer service i get then- i am expecting a five star service- i could also just try to change my boss's mind and order from somewhere else. :(
