I bought 3 subs at the subwau in meechinicsville va they made 2 ot of 3 wrong come on people better service would be nice when we called back they are extreamly rude never again subway
I was an employee at subway in the downtown easton area. Easton pa 18042. 16 N. 3rd street. Well f fridays are paydays biweekly. Well, i came to pick up my check, and my mom is having car problems. The boss, chirag pitel, who is also the owner. Started to talk to me about missing 1 task at night. Let me say, that he only gives me 3 or less hours to due all the duties. And i have proof that he said this. I also told him that i needed more time to complete the jobs he wanted me to do. He is very vigulent with his store. Understandable, i would be to. After working 4 months under a manager he know closily. A collage buddy. This manager was responsable for training my the basic duties of thestore and he did. Mr. Pitel says he trust brian(the manager) to do his job. Who was getting paid 10 cents more then minimun wage and not getting over time. Some friend chirag is. Here im picking up my check and mr. Pitel wanted to talk and my mom was waiting for my. After 10 minutes my mother walks in. I signaled here to wait. After that he started to tell me how to do my job. Which wasnt the first time and im sure it wouldnt have been the last. I told him right there that i didnt have the time to do all the duties and have done them the way it pleases him. After another 10 minutes my mother got impatiant and walked in fustrated and said "you cant possably holler at this kid for 20 minutes i have to go. Sorry". Then we left. As i went to cash my check i had 6 texts form boss sataing that i should hand in my uniform and key to the store. And that what happen was unexcepable. Can Mr. Pitel fire me for that reason. I wasnt on the clock nor in uniform that day.
I recently got a job at Subway about 3 weeks ago and it was ok. The manager was very rude to me and made me learn on my own. Then, when I did something wrong I would get yelled at and not shown properly. Drives me crazy, like last night I knew what goes on sandwichs and she told me I wasn't putting the right portions of meat on and told me to move down to veggies. Sometimes I don't go by the portions on veggies because its not worth the money with 6 of everything.! A couple of nights ago I was doing dishes and my skin started reacting to the dish soap because I have Eczema and I told the boss yesterday and all she said was "we all get it". My arms hurt really bad and I don't know how to get passed it because I don't want to end up in the hospital or something. And my manager and employers are terribly rude to customers. I want to file a complaint, but I don't know how and don't think the coporate would even give a damn lol.
I went to Subway located in Gulfcoast Hospital Fort Myers, FL with my daughter and fiance. We were refused 3 Footlong hot subs due to a employee closeing the store at 7:45 when they close at 8:00. I was told she didnt get paid past 8:00. She refused her name and her managers name. I then called the store the next day and spoke to AJ who refused to tell me if he was a manager and wouldnt tell me the owners name. He promised me a free meals for those who were there the night before. I then went back to Subway that evening to get my promised subs and was refused again. The girl then called AJ and he changed his mind and said on one COLD sub was to be given and we could pay for the rest. I said I wanted to speak to him and he said he would call the store phone(the girl called him on his cell phone). We stood there for ten minutes and he never called. The girl tried calling him back and he never answered. I have reported this Subway to the labor law services of Fl. I even called Corp. twice and they havent called back either. SAY NO TO SUBWAY!!!!!!!!!
I'm reading through these and I'm actually complaining about the customers. I can understand them not making your sandwich right, especially if it's a new guy they are training. But lay off of him, he's new, he's not going to have everything down at the first day. Still it was wrong that they didn't get you new subs. Also, with this "Februany" deal. Everything EXCEPT the Philly and the Feast are 5 bucks. Read the fine print. If you're not sure, just ask. I answer these questions daily, I get tired of it, but it's better than having a complaint later on in the day. YES, it CAN get that busy where the store runs out of the bread YOU want because of the sheer abuse people do with this deal. When you get every one wanting 3-5 subs, sorry, but if we didn't have the time to run around and bake new bread when it gets to be late afternoon, remember we are people. We're not robots. I've been alone with a new person, when it was busy like this in October. No, not every Subway has the same kinds of cheese or whatever. Our cookies are baked. We don't make them from scratch. If your cookie didn't have a nut in it, it was already made that way. It's one thing to be unhappy with how a sandwich or something turned out and believe me, the stores where I am bend over backwards to please people with the most outlandish complaints. Still, you don't need to bite the employees heads off. I've been yelled at for asking what ingredients over, just to make sure I have it right. I've been yelled at because a six inch is not half the price of a footlong. I've been yelled at for not understanding that a lady wanted a footlong worth of meatballs in a salad bowl, and that was it. We're not psychic, stop playing or talking on your phone while you order. The subway by 91st and metcalf is awful... I usually go there because its convienient.. but this is it. I went to the subway today they were training a new guy who messed up both our sandwichs and when I ledt opened it was not even the correct thing... I went right back and they told me they were not giving me what id ordered... I am very picky and will not eat the sandwich they gave me... I will never again eat subway... guess I should have listened to my best friend who said she won't eat there because the customer service is horrible... Oh and u should prob drug test your employees it would prob eliminate some of the issues you have
Store: SW Capitol Highway The following is an email I sent to corporate Subway on 10 February 2012 directly following my incident. I have yet to receive any reply, it has been ten days. I believe the franchise owner is pulling the wool over customer's eyes at all four locations by not honoring the "Februany" special. These are the locations: 6302 SW Capitol Hwy, 8730 SW Terwilliger Blvd, 8952 SW Barbur Blvd and the location of my incident - 11120 SW Capitol Hwy. **** "I was under the impression this was "Februany" month and imagine my shock and disgust when I went to our usual Subway and was told my bill for two foot-long sandwiches was $16! It was an Italian BMT and a Philly. Boy, talk about false advertising!!!! And greed on the part of the franchise owner! I am livid! If the franchise is not willing to participate in a NATIONALLY advertised event then it should be posted somewhere in plain sight in the store. This has left a really bad taste in my mouth about subway! This is enough to make me go to other establishments! Thank you for allowing me to vent my frustration." ***
I am a subway employee and in the store our manager still has us selling outdated, and past expiration date food. It is really gross and customers have been complaining a lot. We also don't have enough people on shift and customers have been complaining that we need more people. I'm sorry but no one person can do 20 subs by themselves as subway expects from us it's ridiculous.
I worked at the subway in colfax Washington and our manager Amy was very rude to coustmors and told other employees she was going to fire me, than turned around and told me she was going to fire them, I'm pretty sure that's against the law, she also told me she was not going to hire this girl she interviewed because she didn't like her but keep in mind this girl had full availability and could work the shifts we needed her to, and I put in my 2 weeks and now she is trying to hold my check, not to mention that store is very dirty and runs out of something atleast 3 times a week, the worst working experience I have ever had, she had me working 3 weeks with out a day off closing and I didn't complain one time and she told me I was unreliable when she left me alone one night from 5 to close with no help and we had 1 bus load of kids come in and I had no help I tryed to call her but she refused to answer the phone, I do not recommend this store to anyone,
I was overcharged $30.00 plus 2.10 tax for 20, TWO Dollar Special Subs....should have been $41. Contacted William, the manager, several times and faxed my CITI card statement at Subway store , 4134th St. So in St. Petersburg, Florida. I contacted Subway Corporate to make the complaint, but was hooked up to an attorney who wanted to charge me much more that what Subway owes me. How can a person make a complaint to a corporation without having to pay a lawyer. I want my money..... Or I will find another way to make a complaint. Barbara C. Harrington

I was at Subway in Kokomo, IN and ordered a BLT. B stands for bacon, L stands for lettuce, and T stands for tomato. I get home and all I have is the B! I called three different subways in town and they all told me that a person has to request the lettuce and tomato!!!! DUH! Then take the L and T off of the menu. I spent $3.75 for bread, mayo and 4 slices of bacon. I will never go to a Subway again and I am passing the message on to all of my friends. Tomorrow, the CEO is getting a phone call from me. Not one of the stores offered to make it right.
It`s a little frustrating to see the President`s day commericial with Ben Franklin in it due to the fact that he is not a President. Have your marketing staff do a little more research in the future. At that level of advertising it`s obscene.
The Subway, located on 10th street west in Palmdale, Ca., has the worst customer service. It all started with the purchase of a Macadamia Nut Cookie. Upon receiving the cookie, I realized that the cookie did not contain one nut in it. When I asked to speak to the manager of the store, the workers where very reluctant to give me their name or number. The workers pretty much thought that this was ridiculous and thought we where just trying to get a free cookie. After not receiving a nut, I decided to leave and go home. I then called and asked to speak to a manager, I was forwarded to a manager named Rose who was completely rude and kept hanging up the line. After 3-4 times of this, I finally asked for corporates number and they were extremely hesitant to give this number out as well. After all this, I decided to go online and write a review about this terrible store and horrible customer service. I hope the individual's at this Subway would get fired because they are definitely not making Subway any money. I hope people see this and think twice about going there because the workers there definitely do not care about the company or their jobs.
My daughter works for a Subway in Mcminnville, Oregon.Her owmer/managers name is Kyle and he also runs and operates Taco Del Mar in McMinnville.Several months back my daughter had an accident with the tomato slicer at work-she had to go to the ER for stitches.She now is about ready to be put in collections for $471.00 because he refuses to submit the proper paperwork and info for workmans comp-the ER wants their money so now they are coming after my college student daughter to pay what is clearly Subways responsibility!! Also i thought id let everyone and hopefully corp. office know what i consider illegal activity and taking advantage of these young girls- this KYLE "charges" his employees for "over-rings" on the register.Ive worked on plenty of registers n mistakes happen-but he makes the girls pay for those mistakes and pockets that cash-UNREPORTED!! for example- i accidentally hit 1 too many zeros, so instead of charging $2.00, the register says $20.00, so you call over a manager for an over-ride n start over. no missing $, thats why the over-ride so as to know that was not an actual charge and basically a void.But he makes the girls pay for that over-ring from their tips n if they dont have enough that day, he keeps track on a board!! there was no sale of $20.00, but now the girls must give him $20.00 for that mistake- that is sooo illegal-thats extorted $ and under the table cash he never has to report!!! the girls continue to do it , because they dont want to lose their jobs!!! I hope corp does not let other franchises run there stores this way!!!!!!!
First let me admit I have not read all the posts here. I have always enjoyed the value at Subway. However I wish to complain about a growing trend I have noticed at Subway's in my area. I live in the West Atlanta, GA area and have been to three different stores where the sandwich artist has attempted to build my sandwich using !!HALF!! of the prescribed meat!! In the latest case I ordered a Roast Beef footlong, and they put 4 pieces of meat on it, it is my understanding that it should have 8. I complained and they added more but I have decided to stop frequenting a franchise that tries to cheat their customers!!
I am a student studying at a college near by. On the 16/02/2012 at approximately 2:10pm I came into the store to purchase a drink (small coke) which I was priced at 1.09p. I gave the female caser (Ycika) a 10pound note, she then gave me back 3:91 pence change. I then informed her that I had given a 10pound note there must be some mistake made you. She then answered that she was sure I had given a 5pound note, her other coleeg (kurran) who talking to her why’ll she was serving me he said he was also sure I had given her a 5pound note. Which I then phoned my father to confirm that I had been given a 10pound note from him, he then said he defiantly did and I was also sure because I did see the 10pound note my college couluges who was waiting to be served after me had also seen the 10pound in my hand. A few minutes later I had come back into the store after confirming with my father to reinsure my self that I did have the 10pounds. When I came into the store kurran the worker straight away approached me asking me if there is a problem before I had even mentioned anything which I found strange. I then went over to Ycika and spoke to her nicely saying that am sure I had given her a 10pound note before she could even say anything kurran approached me and spoke on her behalf and said that he was sure I gave a 5pound note this discussion then was between me and kurran even though it was not him who had served me it was the lady. I then had spoke to him nicely asking him that he can check the cameras because I am sure I had given her 10pounds he then answered back saying that because I had left the store that its too late now even though I had left for a few minutes he said that it doesn’t matter now and that I should go. I then said this is unfair because I’ve just paid a ridicules amount for a small drink. He then said nothing can be done and that he knows I gave 5pounds. I then asked to speak to the manager and he refused and said the manager was not here and I can not speak to him. My college coluges also spoke to him and said this is unfair we want to speak to the manager, voices started raising the worker spoke rudely and then brought the manager over, even though he said manager was not available. I then spoke to the manager he was calm and understanding he said he will check the cameras for me, he then brought me over and showed me the cameras but he was not able to zoom into the note due to the poor quality of the recording so he was unable to identify the note. We then came back outside and he said he will be able to check the receipt and add up the money in the till. I had told him I need go back to college and sign my self in and inform my tutor and he said he will wait for me. A few minutes later I then came back into the store and he started adding the money from the till. He then showed that it all adds up and there was not any money over. I had then said to him that this cant be right because I did not even get a receipt so how could he be sure that I did not even give a 10pound note. I was not getting anywhere with him so I had asked if me and him could work out the note by looking at the camera again why’ll we where looking I mentioned to him that kurran rudely spoke to me and my friends and did not know how to speak to customers all he said was sorry on his behalf even though kurran was still at the store also whilst we where at the back kurran kept on coming inside and listening to what I was saying and the manager kept telling him to go back outside. He still could not work out the note in the camera so I then called my father on my phone to speak to the manager just to confirm he had given me a 10pound note, the manger said there was anything he could do so my father had asked him to call the police in because of the way the staff where behaving representatives of such a big company literally accusing my daughter of lying. My father said it was not the matter of the short change rather it was a matter of principle now, if the police gets involved and verifies the 10pound was given we will take further action against this store. He refused to call the police my father advised me to call the police why’ll I was still in the store. I then contacted the police I explained to them my situation and the understood where I was coming from and said to get the names of the workers involved also the address of the store and a copy of my receipt which the manger refused to give me a copy because he said he can not even though he had shown me a copy of all the receipts before I then got him to note down the names and address of the store and the time of the recorded incident, whilst I was asking for the names it took him a why’ll to remember kurrans name which I found a bit strange because he had memorised the ladies name straight away. The police then had told me to write a letter to the head office so they can look into this matter and sort it out, if there is no joy from this then the police will look into it they had also given me there reference number. I feel very disappointed that such a small matter like this is being exalted to such a level now, it is not about the money now its about the principle I was made out to b a liar the worker spoke really rudely in front of other customers and he raised his voice first even though I approached him in a nice civilised manner. I would be grateful if you could look at this matter urgently. Look forward to hearing from you.
extremely unhappy i got some gift cards on my birthday 2-12-2012 the cashier combined my points from an older card i should have 73 points and over 20.00 on the cards and the system at the congress st subway in new port richey florida is saying my cards are froze mmhmlover68@yahoo.com mark
I was at the Subway store in BJ's in Fredericksburg, Virginia on February 11, 2012 and the service was "TERRIBLE" I ordered the cheese sandwich (American,Provolone, and Mozzarella, because you do not have Swiss) and got charged for extra cheese. The employee that was making my sandwich and my other friends sandwiches seemed that she was pissed that she had to work. Th tone of voice she talked in to one of my friends way not too friendly, but some white people were behind us was treated differently. Why? I then asked the cashier (Colleen) if I could be the meal by adding additional $2.50 as stated on a sign that they had up. When she rung me up, she stated that the register would not allow her to do it. I told her this is what I wanted and she persisted that the register would not allow her to bring up my sandwich as a meal. I asked her what am I supposed to do? and she replied "I do not know". She did not bother to get a manager. There service "SUCKS" and so does the food. One of my friends daughter had a kids meal and got sick and threw up her food in BJ's in her free lunch bag while we were shopping. Poor kid did get to use her free lunch bag. It went into the garbage can. SAD. How come you do not have Swiss cheese? Most Vegetarians eat cheese sandwiches with American,Swiss, and Provolone cheese.
This Subway does not deserve even one star. This has to be the worse Subway for customer service. No one says anything except for what kind do you want and what do you want on it. The older lady, heavy set short blondish hair who I think is the manager has to be the worse ever. She is always rude and you don't even get a thank you. I had trouble swiping my card, tried it twice, and she sighed, took the card out of my hand, swiped it though and said "I don't understand why this is so hard for SOME people". This was my second time there and will never go back. If you ask for extra cheese the manager will holler over "you know thats going to be an extra charge"....can't get them to give you any vegatables without them looking at you in disgust. Don't go to this one, go to the one on 228 in Cranberry. What is happening with the corporate office, you think they would care enough to address customers issue. Dibella's in Cranberry, has a much nicer staff and you get a better sandwich. I think Subway with the raise in prices and uncaring managers and employees will go the same way as Quiznos, they will start to disappear.
