Steak n Shake Corporate Office & Headquarters

I go to the Sawgrass location a few times a month as does my fiance as well. For once id like to go there and not have a problem placing my order or gettin my food. Im not goin to go on a long rant but this locations service is pathetic on so many different levels. I dread going there and if it wasnt for the fact its the only thing open late night i wouldnt even bother goin

I purchased many shakes from Steak n Shake on W. Washington and High School rd. in Indianapolis, IN. and every time I order a medium shake it is missing a quarter of the cup to be filled. When I asked the employee why this is a small amount in a medium cup he stated "there is a fill line and that is as far as it is filled to then the whip cream is added". A quarter amount if not more of whip cream is added to look as if you are receiving the full amount. I spoke with Managers in the past and they say the same. So, Steak n Shake is charging $3.80 for a medium shake and only serving the small cup amount in a medium cup and charging for a medium. This is not right and I will be contacting the news.

No one from Steak and Shake has gotten back to me after my complaint back in March 2013. I received 2 emails' saying someone would follow up and no has. Our experience was worse than awful. We waited over an hour on our food and when it came it was stone cold and no one could eat it. The service was poor, no complimentary offers of comping the meal, NOTHING. Only when my Husband told the Manager he was not going to pay the Manager fired back, "I wouldn't pay either". The main company has done nothing. DO NOT EAT AT STEAK AND SHAKE, BOYCOTT NOW!!!!!!

Visited a store in Akron Ohio. Girl that seated us was rude and felt it was necessary to interrupt a conversation with friends who happened to be there We were seated ordered our meal and got a milk shake. We got the last I guess since those ordering after us were told they had no shake base. Odd for a restaurant named steak and shake. Our waitress was cleaning the bathrooms when not serving food. That's gross. Order a sundae from a different waitress for obvious reasons and was told they have no whipped cream. Asked to speak to a manager and while waiting was having an employee hitting my feet with a nasty dirty mop as she was trying to mop a floor. Manager told me that bathroom cleaning is a side job that waitresses must do.(got to be a better way). And that she was way to busy running a restaurant to go get whipped cream and or shake base. With people like this she won't have a problem with time because she won't have a job.

We eat at steak n shake often and love it. But this time we waited for 10 minutes to be seated and nobody acknolwleged we us. Several saw us standing there but noone came to help us. Needless to say they lost my business.

Dear Steak n Shake, I was in town and visited your location on Raab Road in Normal, IL and encountered the absolute BEST waitress ever. Her name tag read Aliyah and she knew the menu very well. And offered a bright welcoming smile when she greeted our table each visit. Our food was prepared correctly and she checked on us regularly. I don't know if you offer your employees and perks...but, if you do this young lady deserves one. I hope that she is there when I visit again this summer. Thank you, Sam

I am sitting at steak and shake and I have not been greeted in the last 15 minutes in willoughby oh. It seems they have more than enough servers and being a server myself I have a 30 second greeting rule. They could be doing a better job

I went through the drive through at 6:30 am bc I didn't want to be late for work. There was only 1 person in front of me and no one in the parking lot. I waited for my food10 minutes!!!!! In drive through time... That is wwwaayyy too long!! I asked for hot sauce, then the guy was gone for another 3 minutes. why is that a difficult request!!?? I finally got my food, drove off. Went to eat it and there was NO FORK OR SPOON!! Even if there was, the grits were not even cooked, after all that time! So, not only was I late for work, but I completely wasted my money and was starving and super upset all morning. I'm going to go ahead and predict that Steak n Shake will be out of business within the next few years. No one keeps a business going with that kind of service.

I went through the drive thru at river point Steak 'n Shake in Sheridan Colorado. This is the 3rd time the fries tasted stale and old. When I left, I was not given an order of fries that I paid for. Also, the cashier forgot to give me my credit card back. When I tried to look up a number to call this store, I was redirected to a 1800 number which was closed. I simply wanted to get a hold of the store to see if my card was there! Super inconvenient that there is not a store number to call about my card. So I had to drive out of my way back to the store. Also, I was not offered and apology for this happening to me. Steak 'n Shake ..... Uhhhh no thank you EVER!!!

I have visited several SNS establishments over the years. Some good, some OK. However, the establishment in CR220, Fleming Island, Florida. I've attempted to patronize this particular on three separate occasions, basically because i love the burgers & fries but Unfortunately, it went from mediocre to very bad. In fact, on the last visit, we left before being seated. Walked in, received several stares but not one welcome, we'll be right with you, nothing. Perhaps SNS should consider an episode of "Undercover Boss". It truly is a shame because the food is good but the service is just horrendous. Possibly adding some management training could help! C'mon Steak-n-Steak!! Let's get the stuff together!!!

Springdale , ohio. 25 min to get our drink order! 5 Customers at lunch time, no tables without dirty plates at them. Finally got our drinks now at 35 minutes. Can't wait for the food!

we just left the Ocala location on SR 200, this was the worst mistake we made to go to Steak n Shake. Not only did the service suck, the place was dirty, and we had to wait forever for our food and utensils. We asked to speak with the manager, but the jerk had no balls to come to our table. There were about 12 tables that had not been bussed, and customers waiting to be seated. Javiar your a piss poor excuse for a manager, you should be fired!!! And if I have anything to do with it you will. I do have pictures of the dining area and womens restroom, and I will forward them to the corp office. Will no longer be a customer!

Im really disappointed with my service.I visited the Willoughby,Ohio location havent been in awhile but i will say I wonted be back..Service was horrible not to mention my food...The only thing I enjoyed was my shake.My oldest sons burger was undercooked my youngest burger was overcooked.The bread I had was all torn up and the one waiter asked what did I want him today...Terrible service...

Went to the Alton Illinois restaurant Waited about. 20 minutes for the food. Never did get. Noticed others coming in after us eating. Went to the management to tell them, was told we have no order for your table. Then was told there must be a Bloch in the order system. This is the second time at this restaurant we didn't get our food. Wouldn't you think that our waitress would have noticed! We won't be back to Steak n shake

We waited 7 minutes and 15 seconds for our waiter to come and take our drink order. My uncle is diabetic and his sugar was low and I had to flag down a waiter to come and take our order

Your place Sucks. This was the best burger in the world Whoever made this decision is nutts I will never go to steak and shake again

We went to eat at Steak n Shake to have lunch and drinks milk shakes as we ate our food. We had to wait the entire meal and still did not get our shakes. We were told we had to wait more. Apparently they only had 1 person making shakes. We live in Miami and usually are happy with our orders but this experience in Ocala was terrible. We ordered plain steak burgers and the waitress gave all of us with cheese, pickles, tomatoes, etc. Not very happy customers at all.

Clearwater, fl rte 580 what a place waited so long to get your food I counted 7-8 tables with no food being servied, and people waiting at the door a lady manager was on the grill did NOT turn around to see about what was happening on the floor, and also the drive-thur was back up too. seen people just get up and leave we waited 40 mins and we got up and left. won't be back this store had a good service not any more went down the tubes

I used to love going to steak n shake but the service has really gotten bad and after today i will no linger be going there ater waiting abiut 5 minutes to be seated we waited at our table for anither 15 minutes without even getting aknowledged by a waitress so we just walked out ...

Marion Ohio is by far the worst restaurant I have ever entered into. It takes forever to be seated and the waitress n waiters completely ignore that anyone is even waiting to be seated with numourous tables evacuated but not cleaned. The people skills are 0 on a scale from 1-10. A woman wearing dirty clothes was seating some people and cleaning tables but should have stayed in the dish washing department where she belonged..All the employees were young and dumb and misinformed on how to be a waitress. Even the manager was horrible. If I was investigating this steak n shake I would make sure all of the employees were fired. They have no right to have a job there and this place needs to be under new management. Never Again!!!! will i visit a Steak an Shake again
