Steak n Shake Corporate Office & Headquarters

I have been a Steak' n Shake fan and customer all my life until recently. I was used to the inconsistent bad service, screwed up orders, and dirty stores, until I visited the store in Mansfield Ohio. That one just blew me away. I no longer and for some time have not gone to Steak' n Shake for anything after this experience there. Believe me, I have seen it all at these stores over the years, but always brushed it off has immature, poorly trained staff and management. But after reading all these reviews from people it is amazing what I see here. I traveled for work in every state and have been to a lot of these stores mentioned. The same three things stick out all the time.....Indiana, Ohio, and Management. Kind a strange for a store who's Corp office is located in Indianapolis. That says a lot about this company, glad I no longer patronize them.

Undercover Boss needs to get in touch with the CEO of these establishments and correct the poor management. Any profit these stores are making should be used to clean up their act! Just visit one and you'll understand, no further comments necessary here.

Ate at your restaurant in Lake City FL. I love Steak N Shake But this restaurant needs help. Took forever for the order.. It was wrong, bill was wrong & manager argued about it & it was also dirty. Good Luck!

My mom and I wanted a shake and fries and we were on a road trip and were almost home. Well we stopped and ordered, i ordered a mint cookies and cream shake. Well this shake tasted like bananas mint with pieces of Oreo. It was not very delightful and definitely not what I wanted.

Slow service. Lazy manager. Bad attitude help.

I frenquenty visit the Steak n Shake on Manchester Road, Ballwin, MO at 7:45 AM, the older lady at the drive through makes you wait out at the speaker and will not allow you to pull forward until she gets your food ready. Then she gives you permission to pull forward, (no one else is in line), why would she do this?? This happens all of the time and I personally feel that it is rude and it seems that she is hiding something but not sure what it is.

My grandma and my 5 year old sister were in the fairview heights, il location. They were not very busy at the time, and it took them 5 minuets just to seat us. Then after we were seated it took our waitor another 15 mins to get our order. And ten we waited another 45 mins to get our food, of which was cold. I used to love coming here. But sad to say that so many times being here and having bad service, I may not be coming back.

Customers usually complain about the employees but I'm gonna complain about a customer. I work at the holland Michigan Steak 'n Shake. When I was at work today I seen a woman go up to the pick up window and took her and her husband order to her table herself. I don't think anybody said anything to her about it. Two servers seen her as well. I find it just plain rude. If you want to take your food to your table yourself go to Burger King or somewhere like that.

We waited for 5 to 10 minutes while the server discuss her personal business with the people in front of us. We waited for 5 to 10 more minutes for them to clean 5 unbussed tables. We waited 5 to 10 more minutes to watch someone who came in after us receive services before us. Then we had to suffer through a manager who could not be located. The restaurant was fully staffed and the people working there were acting as if we were doing them a favor by spending money at this business. do not eat at the Steak N Shake on Old Fort Parkway Murfreesboro Tennessee. there is an IHOP across the street.

Late night dining in: waited 4 minutes to be sat. Another 10 for water another ten for food. I have to give it up to the photographer that your company hired to shoot the menu because the presentation of my food was awful. The contents on the skillet looks like a bucket a slop the avocado was ROTTING and turning color. The server touched my shoulder in sympathy. Honestly, the worst dining experience I've had all year I walked out.

5-4-13 we were at the downtown indy location--we were trying to have dinner b4 we went to the movies--our waiter was the worst waiter i have ever seen--it took 20minutes just to get water--then the side salads came with the food which was an hour later--in between that we got our shakes, which had already sat 4 awhile because the whipped cream was almost totally melted and cherry was no where to b seen until drink was gone--when food came the orders were put n wrong--had to have them re-made which took longer--needless to say he didnt get a tip and we missed our movie--the place wasnt even busy--so what im saying is if u have plans for anything else plan on being there at the restraunt 3hrs ahead to make ur other plans work

everytime i go and order for pickup or even sit there and wait for my food, the order is wrong, after the 4th time im done, the food isnt even that good so im not sure why i kept going back, probably because i was hopng maybe this time my order will be right!

The service was horrible. The people were extremely rude to me. I had to repeat my order five different times. They forgot my order and didn't put everything in the bag. We were so frustrated when we left we didn't even remember to check the bag until we were home. When we got home and realized they forgot our milkshake that is $3 and our cheeseburger, we didn't even bother going back. We live 30 minutes away and we weren't driving all the way back just to get the same service as before.

I have been patronizing Steak n Shake for 60 years and have noticed the chili being very spicy lately. Why not leave well-enough alone and keep the good chili the way it was. This was at the Telegraph location in St Louis, MO.

Me and my family went into the wentzville mo location and the service horrible out waitress never came back to see if we needed anything this location was very slow at this time. She was not friendly at all. This is the 2nd time that we have gone in and had bad service. And when complaining to the management they just say oh sorry about that and just acted like they really don't care. I think this store should be looked at and get some new staff.

Received order at drive through window. Order was incorrect. Went back through. They took my sandwich and i told them it wasn't supposed to have mayonnaise. The lady gave me a sandwich approximately one minute later. As I pulled away, I unwrapped my new sandwich only to discover that the mayonnaise had been wiped off with a napkin. I knew this because there were pieces of the napkin stuck to the sandwich. This is the worst experience I've ever had at a fast food establishment. I will never in my life be a patron at the Steak n Shake on the mills mall drive in Hazelwood, Mo. When I called and asked to speak with the manager the man that answered said he was the manager and that he was the only one there. There was a female manager there. The employee is a liar with a horrible work ethic. The fact that they treat their customers this way totally blows my mind.

I went to Steak and Shake on SR 220 in Fleming Island, FL today just to have the Apple Pecan Grilled Chicken Salad. I have been 2 times for this salad and still have not had one. The first time they were out of apples, today they were out if mandarin oranges. I will go one more time and I will not be back if they are out of something. Pat Gillis

My husband and I frequent Steak and Shake and felt you should be aware of the excellent service we received at store 3703701 near Knoxville by Andrew. His excellent service and friendly smile made our meal and trip that much more enjoyable that we are telling everyone. I cannot express how wonderful this young man brightened our day. Thank you Andrew.

I live in Gainesville I went to the Steak and Shake on 13th I set in line for 30 minutes waiting for my orde the burger was covered in grease and so was the whole entire burger barn which came out wrong again my wife's milk shake came out with only the top layer having the cookies and cream the rest of it was just plain ice cream hardly any toppings and not mix well at all. thank God there is two in town I will never go to that one again.

One of your waiters in the viera Florida location was VERY. Rude to me. I have never seen this man in my life. We get seated and he just looks at me without saying a word...embarrassing me in front of my friends I say hello? And he sais what would you like to eat and Since we just got seated 10 SECONDS AGO I politely said I will have a coke but I am not ready to order yet....he said ok and he left....later he comes back with the drinks and asks what would I like to eat and as I was saying my order he said NO and goes to the other people at my table....it made me livid and I didn't know what his problem was. At the end he comes back to me and asks me what I would like and now this time he takes my order...he later comes with the food and gives everyone there food...but mine he walks away with it on the tray and I'm like what is this? And he comes back with it and sais o sorry....I couldn't believe how rude and ridiculous this waiter was being to me. I told my brother about this story and he sais when he goes to this location of steak n shake he gets the same waiter with the same attitude...PLEASE notify someone about this man it is unbelievable and pathetic.
