Very poor service today. Not the first time. May be the last

The steak-n-shake in Collinsville, IL is terrible the burgers and the service is ridiculous. The manager Lisa was so rude and she must had trained the people to be the same as her. I will never go back my burger was nasty and not done and the bun seemed stale. They have changed from being the best to being the worse place ever to get a burger.

2091 Old Fort Pkwy, Murfreesboro, TN Cory Brown - manager Treated my family like we were dirt. Waited 45 minutes while watching party after party be seated. The manager ( Cory Brown) said it was because we had a party of 5 and everyone else had a party of four. I guess they don't get trained on how to move two tables together !! Thanks to your rude manager (Cory Brown)...I will not be back..

My husband and we just got out of Stake N Shake, Miami Fl- 88 st and 152. We got there.. There was no one at the door, they took around 10-15 minutes to give us a table- just to make it clear the restaurant wasnt packed... After they gave us the table, we where sitting at the table for 1 hour and no one came to ask us... If we were ready to order or anything. After waiting 1 hour and 15 mins we decided to leave the premise. The customer service horrible, our waiter dissappear, we call or at least we were trying to get the other waiter/waitress atenttion and no one seem to care. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS STORE!! And thats a very sad decision Im taking because I love the shakes. But you should do better in customer service. When we got there it was 11:00, now is 12:15pm- July 4th- 5th. (Midnight)

Ordered my combo and after paying i was asked to pull fwrd and down to the end of drive thru and my food would be right out. It was piping hot but literally dripping grease. The burger was made very porely and throwed together, so soiled with grease until it hid the completly burnt bun, how could they serve that, gross and literrally soiled in grease as well as the oion rings. They had not been properly drained, i understand speed is priority but what about quality and my drink lacked any flavor, it was fruit punch but appeared like lemonade in color again gross. So i returned back to the location and brought it to the attention of the order taker who clearly had an attitude but said she would take care of it, i recieved the same soiled burger as before minus the burnt bun, i couldnt eat that. Ordered a diffrent flavor drink and was given also new rings that i didnt ask for, i guess for my agony. I was in no way rude to any of the staff just asked why was i served this way. I was talked to like dirt by my store manager Cristina Cross at the Barboursville,WV location. I worked my butt off for this restaurant, never called off or anything,for management to treatment like that is very demeaning and unprofessional, I plan on seeking legal advice on this situation and spreading further word around!

Awful food cold greasy food , old, old cook grease union ring were cook on this location needs improvement west colonial & Hiawassie rd in Orlando Florida my family had to eat this trashy food the window of the drive threw looks so decussating greasy

We ordered through the drive-thru which took An enormous amount of time to be greeted by a worker Who really seemed as though we were a bother to them.. No toppings on my burger even though they were ordered And my husband got a burger with half of a patty. The thing that Irritated me the most is that they were"out" of chili!!! What restaurant Would run out of something that is on the menu year round

I spent 45 mins of my hour lunch in your drive thru in terre haute indiana i was only 3 rd car back took 45 mins this is frustrating should make car ahead pull or something terrible customer service

We were at the steak n shake in Orange park FL. and the second we walked in the server warned us about the staff being slow and being fired, we ordered waited for 30 mins for 3 sliders, kids cheeseburger meal and a salad which I never received with the rest of the meal when it finally came out it was wrong, oh and they ran out of sweet tea and we got our food before other customers and theirs were even wrong they probably compted almost every meal, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WILL NEVER RETURN!!!!!!!!

My husband and I along with my father in law were in the Steak and Shake in Fort Wayne, IN 5402 Meijer Rd. We had to waite to be seated, then they sat us right under a cold air vent, my father in law asked the kid to turn it off, he said he would take care of it, but nothing was done. Our waiter took our order, but he wasn't the one to deliver the food. I ordered the Chedder Hotdog with the Sauteed onions, the onions were missing, What they brought me was a plan hotdog with cheese that looked as if it had been sitting out for a long time. I asked about the onions, the lady manager said she could bring me some with an attitude like she didn't want to be bothered. I told her I expected something to be done about our bill, she stood there arguing with us so I wasn't able to eat. When I finally did I only took a couple of bites and realized how bad it was. After leaving there I became very sick with food posioning. I contacted the corporate office and have also contacted the board of health. The corporate office should be giving me a call back. We'll see on that one, but the board of health lady said she wasn't surprised at all, she is writing up a report and sending someone out there to investigate things then I should hear back from them. Will never walk into another Steak and Shake again.

The service at the Bellefontain Steak n Shake in St. Louis is the worst service I have ever had. That location should be audited and shut down. Rude, slow, and a don't care attitude is what they provide. I will be telling everyone I know not to visit any Steak n Shake and will never eat at a Steak n Shake again. I also will be contacting their corporate office.

I was eating with my daughter and grand-daughter in Elkhart store at 3250 Cassapolis Street. The store was filthy. The staff 's uniform were extremely dirty. My food was prepared incorrectly.

Yesterday had the horrible experience of eating, well almost eating, at the Steak n Shake on Bellefontaine Rd. in St. Louis MO. When you go to Steak n Shake you know the service is going to be slow but WOW! It took forever for the waitress to place our order. After she took our order several other people came in and receive their food before us. We did have a group of 6 people, but still other groups would come in, looked like employees friends, and before you know it they would be eating. The kid’s chicken strips and fries did finally come out but no food for the adults or milk shakes. Arrived at the restaurant at 9:00 pm and by 10:30 still had not received food or milk shakes. We left. I will never go there again.

I recently visited the Muncie, IN Steak 'n Shake. I had the blue ribbon burger and a shake. Everything was great. Service was friendly too. Definitely will be will back whenever I can!

Service was horrible! First, we wasn't greeted at the drive thru speaker . I ordered a shooters combo and #4 with milkshakes. The shakes were good. My shooters were not wrapped corectly. And there was chin hair on my burger. The manager wrote my name down. Went back to get my order it was not fixed right fries had no taste and we did not recieve our milk shakes. And it looked like a hangout spot for the employees. This store needs new management

Why is this the only restaurant in town you can go to and nobody says anything or makes eye contact when you walk in the door? I love the food but the service is awful!! It's the only steak and shake in town! We go here and if nobody says anything or makes eye contact in 10 minutes we leave! Food service is slow and when you go to pay it takes forever!! The managers are rude! An smelled the employees smoking weed out by the dumpsters on several occasions in the evening!! Port Charlotte florida's only steak in shake has alot to be desired and I would appreciate it if you could do a cooperate visit and straighten this restaurant out!!! Like I said love the food and shakes! Hate the service!

Im so disappointed in the brownsburg store. It has been brought to my attention that one of the managers sleeps woth his employees and comes to work drunk.

SNS has gone down the drain. With all the coupons they practically pay people to come into the stores. They attract trashy customers and get trashy employees therefore. SNS keeps adding new items onto their menu which NO employees can execute. It is brutal and the ones that have a brain leave which in my opinion is a vicious cycle off failure. Nothing can be done to reverse the company's failure direction. SNS needs to look up the definition of Servant Leadership and bring that to life. 22,000 employees, they cannot all be trash and if they are the CEO should go because he was in charge of hiring them.
