Went to the Sonic in Liberty, Missouri off of 152 Highway. Received sub-par food cooked in what tasted like old grease. The mozzarella sticks and the popcorn chicken tasted exactly the same - like old grease. The employees were less than friendly, seemed to be put out if they had to wait while I handed out the food as it was handed to me. The management seemed to be impoverished and less than concerned about anything.

The Sonic on Irvin Cobb Drive in Paducah KY is the worst one in our community. The service on the afternoon shift is apalling! Everytime I have ordered a strawberry slush there I receive pink tinted ice, when I have asked about it the server was rude iosand would do nothing but say i put 3 scoops in there but at other locations I havent had any issues. I will Not go to this Sonic again, I always go through the drive through and I always tip the deliverer at least a dollar even during happy hour. People no longer have sny pride in their jobs and they act like you are bothering them when you go there.

i went too sonic in wadesboro nc 28170 they diddnt give me half of the stuff i payed for i spent $30.00 and i got $10.00 worth of my food .......

I frequent the Spring Lake NC Sonic and they are horrible! ! There is always something wring with my food. Nothing as simple as messing up my order....no there has been hairs in my food in countless occasions!! This restaurant should be shut down! I have tried to speak to the manager Steve Sanborn and he just keeps giving me the run around and he is not customer friendly. He is rude!! Get rid of this man!! I will never go to another Sonic again and I will make sure that nobody else I know will either!

I went to the Sonic in Spring Lake NC and there was mold on my hotdog bun!!! Gross!!

To Whom It May Concern, My family and I live in Tuscawilla, the golf club community next to this restaurant, and have visited it many times. Unfortunately, the last six visits have proven exasperating because the staff there has been incapable of placing the proper contents of my order into the to-go bag. On three occasions I have driven back to the restaurant to either get a missing item, or bring an item back to demonstrate the horrific level of food quality knowingly put out by the incompetent staff. The last time I went back I met “Trish” who informed me that she was the manager. My order is usually the same and consists of two #2 double cheeseburgers with everything, fries and a coke, and a kid’s chicken strip meal with fries and a grape slushy. On one such trip back to the store I showed her the chicken strips that my daughter received with her order. One was extremely dark brown and ridiculously overcooked while the other looked the same but was less than the size of a quarter. Although she said that this was unacceptable and offered her apologies, nothing was done – nothing! I left with the same bag that I had been given at the drive through window. Although the manager was one of only two others on shift and present at the grill when this was packaged, she failed to stop this sub-par food from getting to me, the customer. If this was a one-off situation my opinion would be drastically different. My repeated visits to this store have been met with gross levels of incompetence by the staff, indicating that a culture if incompetence exists within the restaurant. This culture is indicatively a result of ownership failing to inspect what they expect, and management failing to uphold even the most basic of standards. Today I went back to the restaurant after leaving the grocery store across the street. Needless to say, I was rewarded with the same horrifically incompetent service. I ordered a #2, double cheeseburger with everything, fries and a diet coke, as well as a five piece chicken strip meal with fries and a diet coke. Having been duped so many times I have learned to look into the bag to count the items. Three of my return trips have been to retrieve burgers that were simply not put into the bag. Everything appeared to be there so I thanked the person at the window and headed home. To no surprise, the burger in the bag was a single, not the double I was charged for. These employees don’t need to be able to put the space shuttle in the air. Let’s face it, the level of intelligence needed to accomplish the rudimentary tasks involved with fast food are minimal at best. Perhaps I’m wrong here but the last time I looked, a double cheeseburger contained two beef patties. I have no intention of driving back to the restaurant ever again but I will be sure to inform my neighbors, and anyone else for that matter, of the complete lack of competence of the management and staff of this Sonic restaurant. I find it amazing that the staff of this Sonic is incapable of simply taking an order, cooking it properly, and then packaging it for the customer. The restaurant is supposed to be systems driven, designed to eliminate as many opportunities for error as possible. Remember, my complaint spans six visits and not once – NOT ONCE – did the staff get the order right. In the future, I recommend that Sonic ensure that potential employees possess the ability to count to two. I have never been compelled to write a letter of complaint towards a business until now. My intent here is to draw this to the attention of those at the Sonic’s corporate level. Issuing franchises that are incompetently managed casts a negative shadow on the brand as a whole. The staff at this Sonic has clearly demonstrated a level of incompetence that I have never before experienced. Although I believe nothing will be done, my hope is that this letter will reach someone that will substantiate my claims and put a staff in place that can perform the basic functions that the restaurant demands. I have always liked the food I’ve received from other Sonic restaurants, but from now on I’ll make the half mile trip to the McDonalds just down the road. Best Regards, Alex Giberson

The Hartshorne Oklahoma Sonic is one if the worst!!! Third time I went to order a blast and third time I get told they just ran out of Ice Cream...They need someone that can order supplies or someone that makes sure they don't run out!!! Hartshorne Sonuc Your the worst!!!!

Nothing but problems seem to happen at sonic. I hear through the grape vine of alot of the workers from Atwater sonic. They call off when ever, drink while on the shift and even throw parties for there manager. The employees complain about having to do there job and i found a cockroach in my shake?!! im dumb founded by this place!! this sonic is located in atwater CA 95301 dont ever go there fuck the nigger who works there and the small asian bitch in the yellow car, the fat looking fuck head in dirty ass clothes, the bitch on her cell phone at all times, the short red head mexican who i see out side talking to customers for more than 30min, the tall white girl who cant take orders for shit!!Yes i know this because i do come here alot after class monday through friday since my highschool is down th street.

I quit going to the sonic in mayfield, ky for a long time because the service was horrible there and The food was even worse than the service. Yesterday i decided i was gonna give this location another shot. I got my order and they shorted me an order of tots. The girl went and got me another order no problem. As i was leaving, i grabbed a fry out of my bag and it was really cold and soggy. So i took them back. The manager was just sitting at a desk while everbody else was trying to work hard. She got a smart attitude about replacing my fries. Told the worker, "i guess you can replace them. Dont know what you expect me to do". Really??? That dont sound like a good manager attitude to me. So i get home, my chili dog was terrible. The hot dog was like rubber and the chili tasted old as can be. Got half way through my fries and found two small blonde hairs sticking off my fries. My husband had a large chili cheese tot. Needless to say he had the same disgusting chili. And no cheese. And the holder for the tots had about a medium order in a large container. Never again will i eat there. I will drive the 23 miles to get sonic from somewhere else seeing as how after two years nothing has changed about the local store.

A friend of mine just pointed out to me where sonic has done away with a plain hamburger, all they now have is cheeseburgers. If you have them hold the cheese, you are still charged for a cheese burger. I feel this is a very sneaky way to get a price increase on their plain burgers. I was told that cheese is free...lol. If they continue this practice, our family will no longer be a sonic customer. A Very Dissatisfied Customer.

I really like sonic and go there often I have always had good service and my orders are usually correct and taste good. What is prompting this e-mail is the survey I filled out and evidently wasted my time doing this...after I was given the validation code iread that I had to take it to the same sonic I receieved the survey from to redeem it.That is all well and good except I live about 100 miles away from that sonic and dont know when or if I'll ever be up there again. I'm certainly not going up there to redeem a free route 44 drink.You should clearly state on the survey that whatever is being offered for you to fill out the survey must be redeem at that location...silly me when the receipt say "at your next visit" I assumed it meant any Sonic. There is only about a gazillion of them in my state alone! I still like your food but I have lost all respect for anyone who doesn't tell you the rules up front. And I gave you a great review

Just got back from sonic and the window guy sed, hey the others sed that I wouldn't come over here and call u a ,"douche bag", then he left the window and everyone started laughing.. what kind of service is this,. -_-..

Just saw where Sonic's menu has changed to where they no longer offer a plain full size hamburger without cheese...You have to order a cheese burger and ask them to hold the cheese....for the same price.....What a sneaky way to get a price increase or regular hamburgers. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO SONIC. ANOTHER PLACE IS JUST DOWN THE STREET THAT WON'T RIP YOU OFF. I thought sonic was better than this.

I have worked at sonic since June and have had nothing but problems. I've gone home in tears because of the people I worked with. I have been clocked out early, had my tips taken from me,had to clean MOLD off of the drink and ice machines, and worked my ass off for nothing. I called in the other day because of a family emergency. My boss asked what the problem was and i told him "a family emergency" he then demanded to know what the emergency was. When i told him there was no way i could come in he told me he didnt need me at all and hung up. The next day a different manager called me for him to find out what my intentions were. People come in late every single day, don't show up because their schedule isn't convient and i got fired for that. I would never suggest anyone to work there. You will be screwed over constantly and the stores are down right digstusting.

I had breakfast this morning at one of your outlets and was appalled at the price. I had 2 of your new zesty cheezey steak burritos an order of tater tots and a rt44 drink. The price. $12.64 that is outragous

Orange Cream Slush!!!! Excellent drink when I can get one!!! for weeks now every single time I order from the Orange,Texas sonic, There machine is down. WTF!!! McDonalds Mcflurry works, Burger king shake machine works, even our neigborhood slurpy machine is in order. I would expect a Sonic Drive in would have a cold drink machine working, it's in the upper 90's!!!! Let's see if Dairy Queen can satisfy my thurst.

Went to the new sonic in north myrtle beach, sc and ordered a number 1. Well after biting it I discovered a pubic like hair inside. I threw up! I took a picture and will be reporting it further! Never going back to sonic again! Will also let others know about this!

I am still waiting for a mere 2 drink order for hmm.. 20 minutes now. So ridiculous to say the least.
