i currently work at sonic drive in in Broken Arrow Oklahoma. I've been working here for about two months next week, and the general manager of the store has been overhirring and hasn't been putting a few people on the schedule properly. one of those is a crew member and he's been there for quite some tI'me now and hasn't had the proper training, which in this case hasn't been trained for switchboard, and hasn't been properly trained for car hopping and has been car hopping and put on "tip wage". most of her carhops has been and are on 'tip wage" and lucky me is on it too. when her carhops are tip wage she puts them behind the counter and tells us we cant carhop for a week. i think this is ridiculous i mean how are we supposed to get off 'tip wage when we're behind the counter working crew?? i like working at sonic as a carhop and everything but the GM IS NOT doing a good job at her job. when shes working in the store with everyone she over schedules everyone and its extremely crowded in the store. when its over crowded she puts waayyy tooo many carhops on the schedule then later on she complains about it. and when she over schedules everyone and when there's too many frickin carhops that day, scans get stolen, many gets taken, and people come up very short. its happened to be once because of this one carhop who liked to stand in front of the scanner and would scan every one's card and not tells us about it then take out the orders that weren't hers. one night i came up short because- i know this for a fact- she took my scan card for about 10 minutes and then it reappeared after i reprinted one again. so this ticked me off. shes done it to other carhops before and shes not the only carhop whose been caught stealing, its her and another carhop who was caught straight up in her lies, and she still works there after being caught lying to everyone. recently the GM has hired 3 new people; one who is a manager and has been working for sonic for 3 years, one who worked there 9 years ago and doesn't remember switchboard and is being let carhop, and one who is extremely new at working-shes a teen- but her and the GM seem to know each other. the GM should've just stopped hiring when she hired the new manager. i know people who could have a job right now at sonic that were way ahead of these people. recently the GM has been making the schedule then texting or calling her employees that shes changed the schedule at the very last minute. she does this to me all the tI'me so i say yeah sure when i can go in at a different tI'me, but when she texts me about a different tI'me to come in at and I'm not feeling good i tell her " i cant I'll be coming in at my original tI'me you put me for." she even does it to me when i have my days off. it ticks me off pretty bad and I'm not one of those girls who have short temp or anger issues, I'm actually pretty sweet and extremely nice to people, I'm always smiling no matter what, i make everyone laugh and stuff... but my GM tells everyone that I'm "mean and that i roll my eyes at her" I'm not mean and I've never rolled my eyes at her once. i even try o make her smile and laugh it just doesn't seem to work on her! i love working at my sonic but i think it needs a NEW GENERAL MANAGER. My aunts have worked at the same store in the past and they had a way better general manager. She's been getting on everyones last nerve and i mean EVERYONE. i made this complaint because our GM isnt doing a good job at her job and doesnt know what shes doing. im also making this because shes over hiring and sending people home when they were at work first before all these other people.

I visited location 5472 in San Antonio tx at 1055am. It took 2 min for a rep to take my order . After receiving My total I was confused. 409 for 2 large drinks. It is never that expensive. I questioned the carhop but she really didn't have an answer. Menu shows price to be 179. Receipt shows 189 and the should have been 1$ each since I placed my order before 11am. I drove around to window asked to speak to manager she stated menus were changing that is why the price was different but no answer about the timing of my drink she stated she does not put the te on the receipts.

the sonic in clay center ks... underpays and overworks their kids... they can work 8 hours aday. they tell them they dont get breaks... what kind shit is that... if something isnt done about that, i will take it higher then u guys...no over time pay, but will work them over...wtf?

1-866-OKSONIC complaint line. How interesting, if you complain there at that number, store Management then shows the employee(s) the complaint(s) with your name; & then employee will then come out from around the counter & verbally assault you for complaining!

Stop changing your menu! I wanted a steak sandwich, not on the menu. So then I was going to get a toaster sandwich, not on the menu. All I want is a steak sandwich and pickle-os!

The Sonic in Jonesboro, Louisiana is the WORST Sonic I have ever been to. The food is kinda good but the service AWFUL, PATHETIC, & just flat out very rude employees. We live in a very small town & growing up as a teenager Sonic was awesome. Now to be honest I cringe when someone mentions Sonic. So today, trying to give it another try... my husband & I pull in & once again a huge disappointment to see the employees standing down by the bathrooms trash talking other employees & just being down right rude. It highly disappoints me. Will never be a customer with the Sonic of Jonesboro, Louisiana again. Every other word that comes out of the several employees mouths was the "F" word & other vulgar profanities. It's very sad families cannot enjoy Sonic as we did years ago.

WISH I COULD RATE LOWER THAN A 1 BUT ANYWAYS. THE WYNNTON RD SONIC IN COLS GA IS THE WORST FAST FOOD REST THAT I'VE EVER VISITED. I HAVE BEEN THERE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND THE WAY THE MANAGERS TALK TO THE YOUNG EMPLOYEES IS "AWEFUL". WE WANT THE YOUTH TO RESPECT US BUT WE DO NOT RESPECT THEM. THE OTHER DAY I WAS IN THE DRIVE-THUR I HEARD A FAMALE MANAGER BELITTLE A YOUNG EMPLOYEE ALMOST TO TEARS. SHE WAS GHETTO, AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I AM A SUPERVISOR AND I HAVE YOUNG PEOPLE WORKING FOR ME TOO AND I WOULD "NEVER" TALK TO ANOTHER HUMAN BEING LIKE THAT. WHEN I CALLED TO REPORT TO THE HEAD MANAGER, GUESS WHO THE HEAD MANAGER WAS? YOU GOT IT RIGHT MS GHETTO MANAGER. MY SUGGUESTION IS TO CLEAN THE HOUSE OF THE MANAGERS!

I took my kids to the sonic at fowler & Herndon in Clovis, ca for lunch on July 5th. My oldest son complained that he didn't have any ice in his sprite. I opened the lid to check and found no ice, but plenty of hair & other unidentifiable floaties. I opened my other son's drink & again found no ice, but2 small very sharp shards of broken plastic. I reported it to the mgr. who offered to get me replacement drinks, but that was a very real health concern so I refused. We threw our entire order in the trash & I had to ask for my $ to be refunded. Extremely disappointed. Used to visit daily. Will not be going back.

The lady at the dry through got my order wrong 2x. When I got to the window she said here are your shakes. My reply was, "yeah sure, they are wrong but I will take them." She handed me the shakes, asked for my card, then told me it declined. The charge was for $4.32. My husband got paid Friday and we had more than enough in the account, Yes, I checked afterwards. The teenager lol at me and asked for the drinks back.

I live in Jackson tn and I watch the manager john Reid bully his workers told them they were being babies because the air went completely out and it was a 103 degrees outside talking to them and belittling his staff then when they quit he makes it where they can't go to another one.

I have been working at the sonic on 281 and 1604 in San Antonio texasfor about two months now. I work a 40 hours a week and my managers will not provide me with work shirts, I have only one and itis gross to have to wear a dirty shirt to work, not to mention it is not very sanitary. I requested and begged my managers to order more shirts, they did, but ended up giving mine away and now they are telling me they cannot order shirts again. I am willing to buy my own, trust me, my shirt is disgusting. Can someone help,the health department, someone.

Stopped by.sonics to.grab drinks for.the family not only was the guy taking my order rude he over charged me for my order he was also.the.manager.....he also didn't.give me a receipt.when.my card was ran.through......I've been slightly pissed allday because of the extreme un professionalism don't visit.the sonics in brunswick, ga.....extremely dissatisfied.....

I am writing about the sonic in Amory, MS!! We ordered milkshakes and it took them forever to bring them out. When we finally got them they were wrong so they supposedly redone it and it was still wrong!! We asked to speak to the manager and he refused to come outside to our car and handle the situation!!! Very disappointed!!! I won't be going back there for a long time!!

I have been sitting here for over 30 minutes waiting on my food. I have push the special red button 2 times asking about my food and the answer is "it is on its way out." 30 minutes!!!!

To whom it may concern: On numerous occasions the Weatherford, Tx Sonic is slower than a turtle! I ordered a bag of ice and it took 15 minutes for them to bring it to me. This not the only time I've had service like this. I've gone to the Azle, Tx Sonic and it's there before I can get my money out! Kudos to the Azle Restraunt! Something must be done to the Weatherford Restraunt. I rather go somewhere else than go there anymore! Amanda Hathaway

I was a former employee of sonic drive in. I was fired but I was inches away from quitting. Three of the employees were drug dealers who would drop what ever they were doing to go outside to make a deal, EVERYBODY smoked weed, even on the clock and I front of customers(and the hiring manager knew about all of it) and because that made me uncomfortable everyone there was out to get me. It got to a point that the manager hated because of all the bullshit they spread around, which is what got me fired. The food there was terrible, there were cockroaches and rats in the ice cream and nothing was ever washed. That is not the kind of work environment a teenager should have to work in. If you do not want this to be how your company is crowed I suggest you doing something about it

I frequent the Sonic drive-ins in the area very often and have taken many reviews for a validation code. Recently I received an offer to enter the "Great Skeedaddle Roadblock" looking like it might be fun. At any rate I've been offered 3 coupons. After the first one would not print from my personal printer I tried the next two from two different printers and they wouldn't print either. Has this been reported by other contestants?

Workers at sonic no longer carry no coin changer whith them,reason being they will say to you,when you have change due I will be right back with your change.Trying to get you not to wait for your change.It is wrong to try and hustler a customer,who's going to tip most of the time.

Childress TX Sonic - Bought large Onion Ring and they gave me 4 onion rings said it was a large. Havent been back since there, Sonic by Walmarts in Ft Worth across from Ridglea Mall - over cooked chicken nuggets and Onion rings dry and cold Sonic across from Car Toys on Overten Ridge always good service and properly cooked food.

Add me to the list of those who think removing hamburgers from the menu and forcing you to pay for the cheese whether you want it or not is the ultimate show of greed. I have been a steady customer for years, and have no complaints about any other area, but this new menu change is going to cost them my business. If I don't want cheese, I shouldn't be paying the same price...especially with so many other fast food establishments so close by more than willing to sell a burger without the cheese without making me pay for it anyway. How greedy can one company be?
