we got very sick

We stopped at 178th and Western store for breakfast. I ordered a sausage breakfast burrito & rt 44 drink and my 13 year old son ordered a supersonic cheese burger and a large drink. This was on Saturday Jan. 5, 2013. We went to the drive through. We ate our food and then Monday morning we both were vomiting, had chills, body aches and really severe runs. I couldn't go to work and my son couldn't go to school. We were there @ 8:35 am. Either an employee was sick and didn't practice proper hygiene or it was food poisioning! I believe we were food poisoned. We won't go there anymore as I have been sicker than I have ever been!

treatment of employees

The Sonic in Clovis, California on willow and nees is horrible to their employees. I have gone there several times and more than once the managers have shown poor leadership by chastising their employees in public and shown sexual harassement in public. I dont know why they put up with this treatment. There are times where there are only two people working the entire drive through and food is slow in getting out, but how can you run a business with only two people? Something has to be done to change management and regulate this Sonic ASAP!!!! I hope something positive can be done to correct this injustice to these hard working employees from upper management. .

Rude and terrible customer care

I went to Sonics after my son's fooball game at 1306 EAST STAN SCHLUETER LOOP, KILLEEN, TX 76542. I ordered about $30 worth of food and my car was stuck and would not go in reverse. It was me a Mother of a 8 year old and a 15 month old who was in the car with me. I called my friends to help push my car out of the parking spot I was in. After they helped me push my car I had to put my 15 month old in his car seat. A manager or worker came out and was asking us to go to the picnic area. We try to explain that my car has no reverse and they just pushed it out of the parking space. He kept saying we are blocking traffic. There was no cars behind me and the drive thru area had a few cars in which they were not blocked. Although I had my 15 month old son in my arms trying to get him in his car seat he still showed no compassion and could give us a minute to get situated. He kept rushing us and because we kept trying to explain we are just trying to get back in our car, he made a comment that he would call the cops and only a minute went by from when he first came out. This is not acceptable way to treat a paying customer who was in a bad situation at the time and was resolving it quickly. Sonics need to have some courtesy and maybe even offered to help not basically tell me to throw my kid in the car with no carseat just to get out of the drive area. And again there were no cars in which we were blocking thoughout the whole time we were there.

Really

The sonic at the OKC airport is a disgrace. The first and last impression of Sonic's home town is a complete embarrassment. Lousy service, pathetic workers, horrible food and no ice in drinks. Really Sonic? I can hear Fran and Frank turning over in their graves.

For Your Information: rock and hard place

Thanks to the current government requirements for businesses and corporations regarding health insurance and other benefits, many companies are trying to avoid this expense by having no full time employees. They are caught between a rock and a hard place. If they comply with the government's edicts and provide these benefits, then their profits go down and they're forced to raise prices in order to keep their stockholders happy, or worse, they simply can't stay in business and pay for these benefits.. Then the customers are unhappy because of the added costs. As a compromise, and not a very satisfactory one, the companies are trying to keep their employees on a parttime status, and under 30 hours a week. That way, the company doesn't have to pay out big bucks for the government-mandated benefits, and they don't have to raise the price of their products. The customer is happy because the cost isn't up, but unhappy because the quality of the food is down, and the quality of employees is poor. Welcome to the world under Big Daddy.

Our visit to sonic in lamesa tx was not the best. We ordered a burger with bacon and was charged but no bacon, also the burger was not wrapped. It was just thrown in the foil bag. We also ordered a coney hotdog and had to call back for napkins, a fork and knife (which there was none) and condiments. It was not busy , just no excuse for not even half way done service.

Bad food!

Went to the Loveland, Colorado store ordered a chicken strip sandwhich. The chicken was cold and hard! Nasty sandwhich! I will not be going back to that Sonic!

change the grilled chese

I went to the sonic in wallingford connecticut, i thought the service was fine, so was most of the food. However the grilled cheese was really lacking. They used really thick bread which would have been fine if there was enough cheese. Also, it was barely grilled, i doubt they even buttered it. It was still entirely soft it tasted like i was just eating bread. Im a vegetarian so that was just about the only option for me so I'd love to see a change. The Ched R' Peppers were great though :)

Terrible.

Just left Sonic located in Concord, NC and had an awful experience. The lady who took my order was very rude. When I pulled up to the window where that lady told me my total and never once looked at me. She gave me my drinks and then forgot about my food. Another employee eventually asked me what I was waiting for and was able to get my food. When I got home I realized the large Dr. Pepper I ordered was completely flat. My tater tots were soggy and the fries were cold and totally inedible. I don't like to complain like this but the experience was so terrible I felt like I needed to say something.

Service with a Lobotomy in Childress

I went into this odd, dine-in Sonic in Childress, TX. The manager was writing in her schedule book and did not look up once at me while writing and did not acknowledge me. The employee I finally had to yell to get some service to, was not polite did not smile, and acted as if she had received a frontal lobotomy. Funny enough, the BLAST and other job aids instructing Sonic Employees on how to handle customers on each transaction were there, but none of them were friendly. They all acted like I was something stuck to the bottom of their shoe. It was the worst service EvER!!!

Couldn't get anyone to wait on us. Even gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried system next to ours and they didn't respond there either. They were not busy at all. We left and went elsewhere. I just called the store to talk with a manager and they put me on hold while they were talking loudly and having a party of sorts and then disconnected me. We love sonic and don't have many places in Athens for ice cream drinks. This was ridiculous.

drive through

tonight we went through the drive through and the kids ordered kids meal hamburgers. Since when does the patty look as small as breakfast sausage. It didn't come anywhere near the edges of the bun. Purely pathetic. Guess we wont return.

Hello my name is Jessica Wences and I am writing to let you know how upset I am that I was unable to get the .50 cents corn dogs anywhere in my area. I live in a low income neighborhood and decided to load up the kids from the neighborhood and take this along with my 3 kids to the local Sonic to treat them for some corndogs and being the only place that sells the best corndogs I thought I would take them. I went to 3 local Sonics and they were all out of corndogs and this cause such an inconvenience to not only me but the children that wait all year for this special. It has always been a tradition in our family that we take the children to get there corndogs before and after heading out for their Trick or Treating and not to mention as busy working parents yall’s special really helps families out so that we don’t make dinner that day. I really think not enough research was done on yall’s part before changing the special to all day on the .50 cents special because if enough research was done then there should have been enough corndogs ordered to sell to us the customers plus if there was an overage in corndogs ordered I am pretty sure you would not have any problem selling them for even a few cents more the following day. Thanks Sonic for dropping the ball on this one! Jessica

It is ridiculous to have to pay for a cheeseburger when you do not eat cheese. The regular burger is no longer on the menu. I make them tell me every time that, yes indeed, I have to pay a higher price for a cheeseburger and then cut the cheese. What genius came up w/ this rip off?

Im not one to complain...but here it goes...i am curretly sitting at one of your drive ins in oklahoma city...i have been waiting 27 mins on food..i only have 30 min lunch time...what is going on with the service they keep telling me we are backed up...for real!..i will not be returning to any sonic in the future

ok first of all pay less people more money dnt have you car hops begging people for money every time they grab a snack .. second get some of the grease off your patties ..always wayy tooo greasy burger its sloppy and it upsets me because i happen to like the flavor lil salt lil pepper some butter on the bread its good .. third use a different chilli nd cheese for the chilli cheese fries etc.nobody wants sliced cheese . if you can straighten up your act you might survive another couple decades... your welcome bob middleton.

lisa, I was a comanager there for many years and labor too high means that there is not enough sales to what is being paid oout in wages...unfor it does happen alot.managers are requiered to keep their labor at a certain percent for each meal period.

Ordered 2 chicken strip dinners to go, got home about 15 miles away, chicken strips were about the size of a carpenters pencil got tater tots instead of the fries I was suppose to get. This is unacceptable for $6.00 per dinner. Will not go there again.

If i am an employee and im sent home early or told not to come in (right before its time to go in) because labor is too high, what does that mean? This happens so much. I never get sny hours due to this? Is this fair? Please explain this labor is too high thing.
