The New menu has removed hamburgers from any order possible. The only way to get a hamburger is to order a cheese burger with no cheese. What a cheesy way to raise the price and not get anything for it. I will start removing my cheese I do not want and pasting it to their new cheesy menu.
I have worked for sonic drive in since 2009 and I am very appreciative for the chance to learn and grow as a manager here. I feel like I am being taught well and that our guests enjoy coming to Sonic because of the good service we provide. Thanks Sonic!
I was researching to see if i could find any other new employees who haven't even made a hundred dollars yet but since i haven't found anything, I'm very disturbed. I mean love job but the pay, apparently, isn't so good. This is my third check and i barely have made anything. I work harder than most of the OLDER employees and do just about or maybe MORE work than them. I provide my customers with exceptional service no matter how I'm feeling.I love the food.... Well what i have tried so far. My Co_workers are awesome as well but still i feel as if working there is worth it. Someone please let me know what i should do. Please and thank you :-)
The sonic in Drumright Oklahoma,not only has many of the local drug addicts working for them,but they are very slow. On 3 occasions I have had to wait at least 20 to 30 minutes for a small order when they are not very busy. The last visit I ordered 1 breakfast sandwich and a drink,23 minutes later I was still waiting with only 3 other vehicles there. Then the older lady who brought me the food(who is a washed out drug addict), had no teeth and smelled bad and looked like she had not bathed in weeks.I really enjoy the Sonic in the next town (Cushing),but its not always convenient to visit that one.They need to really check out this arm pit ofa Sonic.
I am a New Braunfels native and recently moved to Corpus. I finally found a Sonic in Corpus that wasn't horrible and now they charge me twenty cents for one tenth of a lime. It was an extra two dollars for the drinks we ordered. I personally buy seven whole limes for a dollar. I'm sure you pay much less. Eithet bring back the old Sonic with half limes squeezed in my Strawberry Lime Slush or drop the unreasonable upcharge. You tried ten cents and I figured ahhh cost but now you are being greedy. What's the comercial say, " Over 100,000" combinations". Multiply that by twenty cents. It equals GREED. Don't eat Sonic in Corpus BTW.
I'm an african american women who is employed at the Sonic's at 3036 Broad River Rd. Columbia S.C. I have only been there for 3 weeks. Patrica, who claims to be the owner really needs an inspection. (Not just on the store, but personal relations with employees) I have never been discrimanted against the way I was from this employer. She is extremely rude and hateful. She has been looking for a reason to fire me since the third day I started working there when I witnessed her stealing five dollars from me while unsupervised counting down my bank. She over dramatized how she "just wanted to see how much I made during my shift" because she wanted to know if I made any money or not (tips). I called the cell phone number she left up for issues in the store when she was not at work. I called her on the issue in order to resolve it. She of course denied with obsenities and blasted me, saying I accused her of stealing, when all I did was intuitively ask her if there could have been a mistake on her part being that I was over a 99% sure I didnt miscount in those 6 hours. Honestly, I think the issue is my skin color. Besides the kitchen help, I am the only african-american carhop that has worked on the shcedule the same time as Patricia besides a young woman named Ashely since I had been there. I think she has issues with other black women working alongside her. All the others work late nights because of it being 24 hours. Her Daughter Kaylah and a few other white females no older then 16 to 18 work during the day. Its obvious with her constant bickering and finding fault with everything I do that she has issues with me. She has no tactfulness or respectfulness. Her and her husband let there children work the best hours and others take whatever they can get. There is definitley something wrong at this location in South Carolina. I ask that you please send someone to do an inspection on that store and I promise that if you watch for a few days that you will see that Patricia is not doing every thing she is suppose to and bad management shows in customer service. I'm convienced I have done my upmost at this location, but don't see myself staying on with this staff much longer being that I was taken off the schedule because missed a meeting that was "manditory" for some and was not for others and was not forwarned of any such meeting. Also I saw several violations of cross contamination being done while I was on the clock. Handle of money and then the handle of food,(buns) to be exact. Trash handling and then straight back to making drinks. Just a little note. I hope you all know I do not find fault easily. I am no trouble maker. I am a dilligent worker. I am deeply hurt by what seems to be racism of this person. I can justify it know other way. I would like to see some action taking, atleast a visit form corporate on the next trip. Thank you.
in the pat two weeks i have been to levelland texas sonjc ihav had to wait anywhere from ten to to fifteen minutes for a soft drink that i have ordered i dont wait mre then two to three ninutesthe fourth and frankfurt sonic in lubbock texas sonic which istop in 5 days a week since i work in lubbock i hve seen others having to wait at levellan location i dont think that sonic coopration would like that sow delivery
The store located on 11200 Hutchison Blvd in panama city beach , Florida the drive through it is a nightmare, even when no one is there it takes them at least 10min to take the order and another 10 to 12 min to get the order which I only order a large chocolate shake no whip cream. I make them repeat the order and they still put the whip cream or they give me a small size.. Not only you have to wait so long then they get it wrong.. It happens every week when I get my shake. I wish there was another Sonic in the area. I think it's time for your management to pay attention to your customers, a lot of my friends have gone through the same thing at that Sonic..
your sonic in giddings texas off of austin ave. They have a new car hop and her name is Vickie You I want you know just how good she is I have lived in giddings texas have of my life and none of those car hops have ever made me feel welcome. She is very nice and seems to care and love her job. She made me and my family feel like wow she cared that we where happy even brought my kids ice cream after we finished are meal she did not one but two check backs. That sonic is now are family place to eat out I wanted you to know how happy we are that she is there thank you for hiring her she really cares about her customers.
One star is being nice ,believe me they deserve none .First off how does a company like Sonic allow for Husband and wife to work along side one another at the same store not fair for other employees ,Second how do you allow the manger and his wife (manger)speak to employees with little on absolute no respect .There store in filthy absolutely filthy ,they have no respect for the brand Sonic ,which i might add happens to be good if the mangers do there job ,but clearly these folks care nothing about a job well done just a paycheck it is a shame that the citizens of Ft. Walton,Fl have to endure this,corporate truly needs to investigate this matter as this is the health of my peers ,filthy restaurants make people sick. The true rating for my experience at the Sonic in Franklin, Louisiana is "0." My 74 year old mother and my two daughters and I attempted to order something from the Sonic in Franklin, LA with a disability placard clearly displayed in the window. This incident occurred at about 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, 2012. The operator could not understand the order and refused to serve us after we attempted twice to explain the order and no one bothered to send a server to investigate the mishap. Never in my life have I ever been refused service and I thought this is an innocent mistake I will just explain what happened and we will be on our way. After asking to speak with the manager, who was too busy to see me, I requested the name of the manager and the telephone number for the corporate office. The manager sent me a message via a server that her name was Jadie and to get the number on line (suppose I did not have a computer?). This was certainly a hint that I was not dealing with a professional. She accused me of using foul language (with an 11 year old, 12 year old and 74 year old Jehovah's Witness in my presence-No Way!) This young lady had no idea that as an upper level administrator, my role includes training clincians and educators to manage behavior in a positive way and I practice what I preach. I attempted to retreive the managers last name but it was not provided even after asking two servers on duty for her last name and both said they did not know. I could not believe that this was really happening in a business that thrives on customer service. As I was leaving a policeman arrived and I cordially introduced myself and explained that I had asked for the name of manager and the corporate phone number. He agreed that this was a reasonable request. Based on his assessment, it was apparent that this particular Sonic has a reputation that does not include courtesy by any stretch of the imagination The manager then came out and refused to offer an apology or listen to the situation. She was defensive, arrogant, and totally disrespectful. I am a 54 year old professional but my greatest role is that of parent. I am always conscious of my behavior given the example I am charged with setting. This unexpected situation again allowed me the opportunity to demonstrate the right thing to do but in this instance I had to explain to my girls that the manager had no regard for the customer and will not likely be in the customer service industry for very long with the attitude she exhibited. I would not recommend this Sonic to anyone and truly hope that this review will result in customer service training for the manager and servers. It may also help to advise servers in this particular venue that visible hickey's are not very appealing in food industry. I hope this is not representative of other Sonic franchises!
Today I was @ Sonic Drive in # 3183 in Knoxville, TN (865)689-1915. I pushed the red Sonic Button @ 1:20 pm @ 1:31 my order still had NOT been taken. Another car pulled in right next to me and had their order taken right away. I then proceeded to the patio. Again I push the red Sonic Button, guess what my order had still not been taken after 8 mins. and I was the only one ordering. Finally a car hop comes out and I explain the situation and she apologized got my order and told her manager. He said to tell you " its because you moved from stall to stall" I told her that is not true I got tired of waiting at the first stall # 21 and got off my truck and came to the patio. Well the manager did not even come out to talk to me like I requested and still charged me for my food. Wow...what BAD customer service. I will NEVER go to that Sonic again!!!!!!
I'm giving sonic on Government in Baton Rouge, La 2 stats only because the hood are polite. Whoever is taking the orders, on the other hand, is outright rude. I pulled up to sonic at 2:10 and made my order. Her reply was "it's not 2 o'clock yet if you here for the happy hour." Her next reply was, "Thats not my problem, the time is preset and we don't go by YOUR personal time." I understand what she was saying, but she had zero right to be rude. Then, while waiting to place my order, a hop came by trying to give me a meal I did not order, and the same lady came back on the intercom and said I needed to pay for the food I ordered. That's too much for one experience.
My sister and I went to sonic. A different location than i usually go to.We both ordered the grilled chicken wrap (as I always do) the chicken was about 1/4 th of an inch thick and about the circumference of a lemon. My sisters was the same. I brought it to the attention of the car hop and he said they cut a chicken breast ,the same that they use on the sandwiches, in half and that the chicken they've been getting was small. So the sandwich and the wrap are the same price but a wrap has half the amount of chicken . I was very disappointed.
I was just at one of your stores in San Antonio tx store is located at 4060 Roosevelt Phone number 210-924-3398. I have been in the fast food industry for over 20 years. I have been an area coach with KFC and Little Caeasers pizza. This store was out of product (2 items) that I ordered I was not given any napkins nor was I apologized to for not having the product. The store was not busy. The customer service was very bad at best. When I asked for napkins, the employee that came to the window looked very sloppy. His shirt was not tucked in and he had to ask the manager "do we even have any napkins. Really I was thinking. I know that their only concern was getting out as early as possible and not taking care of me (the customer). This was the first time I have been to one of your stores and it is the last time I will go back. That is poor leadership, the manager should always make sure they have product up. It would not have mattered if I had to wait for the sweet pototo tots or the onion rings that I ordered. I was told they didn't have any. That is either poor ordering skills on the manager or not following the projections that all fast food restaurants follow. I just couldn't believe the poor service and management at this store. I am very disappointed in my experience tonight. I will make sure I tell everyone not to go to Sonic. This needs to be addressed. Thanks (not) to the managerJose Guzman who is the GM of the store. Well I take it we have the same problem as most. Poor mangers, rude employees, cold food, nasty ice cream, wrong orders, friends & family of workers hanging out inside building, drugs in and out of that place and anything else you could complain about. I am not sure how this company has made it this long. It's a sad sight. In the mornings they are so short staffed that most either have to leave or wait 27 minutes for 2 burritos. Today at lunch I have to leave with nothing after waiting 12 minutes for a jr cheeseburger, nothing else. I would bet if you talked to every person in our town everyone would have a dozen or more complaints or stories about bad service, wrong orders, ect. I think today I was pushed over the edge..... I am done, NO MORE SONIC FOR ME!!!!!!!
I've come to the conclusion that ALL businesses have downfalls! Some may be extreem due to the BUSINESS ETHICS, while others are merly a personal problem that the EMPLOYEES should be taken care of at HOME! SONIC IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO RECEIVE GREAT FOOD, AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE, and AN ALL AROUND QUALITY EXPERIENCE IN A SINGLE VISIT, As are ALL THE OTHER FAST FOOD CHAINS! ALL the employee's representing these businesses SHOULD KEEP THEIR TRAIN MANUALS ON HAND AT ALL TIMES!!! YES, there is a HIGHER POWER, and I've learned that if I put myself in other people's shoes, treat others as I want to be treated, and Pray, then LIFE WILL TAKE CARE OF ITSELF!!! My resent trip to SONIC was less than perfect, but I PLAN TO CONTINUE TO ALLOW SONIC TO FEED MY NEED!!!
I have been to this sonic since I moved here 5 years ago. Several freinds and I would visit the resturant after church, and chat and enjoy a lunch each Sunday. For several visits we noticed the staff eating, drinking out of the cups when they ovrerflowed and capped them and sent out. I started to observe more closely and finding the staff dropping food, picking it up and continue to use the hamburger or piclkes. Chicken was treated the same, while the server wiped her nose and touched the hamburger helping out the staff person. We all looked in as we were putting our trash in the can, and observed the floors dirty, counters filled with food and mayo spread on the table where the food is prepared. We observed the mustard was dropped and then picked up and used. That is unexcuseable...we have had enough of this and left. We have moved our weekly get together rotating at each others homes and feel more at ease with what we eat. I called to talk to the manager and was told he was at his house close by and he would not be able to come to the phone till he gets back...so I waited 1 hour and the young girl informed me that he would not be in for the rest of the day, so I called the next day and explained to him what was observed and the answer I got was, that is not my employees and they would not do such...they were trained better then that. Well there you go...as far as the Pulaski, TN Sonic, you lost some very good people and our out reach group will make it known what is going on and to warn all of the church and the community of the conditions.
I go to the location by my home (104th and Tower Road) and once there were three people taking my order which I do not understand they were making a joke out of it. Very unprofessional. My daughter and I were ordering three drinks and if you can not take an order for three drinks, Give it up!!!! So we get our drinks and my malt, I say malt does not have the malt flavoring in the shake. I had told them at the drive thru please do not forget the malt flavoring and they did, They act as if they are doing me a favor and were very rude, if I can't get what I had requested I don't think it needs to be on the menu. This restaurant has forgotten and messed up my food order over four times. So I do not want to do business with this facility anymore. I do not have a problem with the Sonic at 104th and Colorado they seem to listen to me there is a young thin tall manager that always smiles and is courteous when I place an order or the young ladies are quick and caring about getting your order correct. Please lets train the employees we have today so we can have a brighter tomorrow. Thank You, Jaycee
