Sonic is a great place for the young to work and Get experience. Over the holidays my son was told by His manager that if him and the others kids worked Christmas Eve and Christmas day they would get time & a half. Then the GM told them that they would not receive what they were told. Total BS pay those kids what they were promised.... I will be calling corp.

Gesss all I hear are a bunch of whinny little babies. Oh they took my chicken dinner, oh my order took 5 mins oh I hate that person because she dresses funny. My God go somewhere else if you don’t like it. I personally Love sonic! They have a larger menu than anyone else out there. If you stop and think about it that’s why it takes them longer to prepare the food and on top of that they are serving 30 people at once vs mcds servicing maybe 3 or 4 counting drive thru at once. Some of you really just kill me. judge not till you walk in their shoes. I haven’t however I know plenty of people who have and from what I can see it’s a very challenging job but like most people you just want to whine and complain.

The Sonic's owned by Robert Bacon (East Alton, Godfrey, and Jerseyville all in Illinois) are poorly owned and in my opinion, need to be shut down. The store owner is taking child support out of the employees checks and not paying them to the child support people. He is $800 in debt with only ONE employee's child support. Half of the equipment at the stores does not work and Robert Bacon will not get them fixed. There are fist fights in the East Alton store quite frequently. Robert has not paid his taxes from last year or this year so the IRS is after him as well as the company he rents his truck for. The employees are not able to cash their checks. They will have to wait at least 3 days after receiving their checks till they can actually cash them, and they still may not be able to. Robert has also slept with at least one of his employees that we know of. The stores are not clean. If you ask an employee at one of these locations how to clean the ice cream or slush machine they will more than likely reply with the wrong answer, or they will tell you they don't know how. The stores need a new owner or they need to be shut down because this is a disgrace to all Sonic's.

Every time I go to a sonic in leavenworth Kansas the fries and tots are so salty they are impossible to eat. Its like pouring straight salt in my mouth...and it takes atleast 30 min to get my crappy food. Not worth the wait...I am done with sonic.

I went to a Sonic in Selma,Alabama and i ordered a mushroom swiss toaster melt. The melts' hamburger patty was over cooked, the patty had a crisp edges on it then had crisp piece of meat that was stuck on the grill or whatever the burgers are cooked on. Then on top of that one the employee tried can dispute with me on what is moche on the java chiller. Somone please inspect this place please then the same person who brought my food out, he had early just took out the trash with gloves on with the rolled blades on. The same person i seen when my husband and i lefted he was calling across to a person he knew at gas station (again with the roller blades on) while in the road where we was coming down. Someone look into this issue of employees unwilling to work, please. I told my husband im not going back there.

The sonic in Waco located on N. Valley Mills is racist. They give blacks less hours and is unfair when it comes to hiring of another race. I overheard one of the managers ask what color was an applicant when they were handed an application for employment. I think this should be resolved if I am going to continue working for them any longer. Thanks for your time and consideration.

I went to a sonic in Victoria Texas on Houston Highway and i sat at the drive through box for 10 min then we pulled up to the window and a heavy set man looked at the window and walked away then we sat there for another 5 min so finally my pregnant girlfreind drove off. That was the worst service ive had ever, worst than McDonalds. I called the manager and it was a guy named Andrew claimed to be the manager and i told him the situation and all he said studering was sorry that he didnt know what to do about the situation. Hopefully this gets corected bc this seriously disturbed me. What kind of service is that.

Wow! 3x I have been to the Sonic in Bensalem PA and always a poor experience. - DO NOT GO THERE! rude at drive through, overcharged me, food was poor quality, and forgot to include fries. The girl with the "i know who i am" attitude was sooo ignorant. Unfortunately, this is not a one off. Hiring at Sonic is terrible from OK to TX to PA -- and the food is not good enough to overlook it.

I honestly think people whine too much. People compare their trip to McDonalds, but the two companies are very different. I work at the one in West Carrollton Ohio and the store is amazing with a great manager. And when people compare Sonic to McDOnalds is so stupid. First of all our Sonic only has 3-5 people working for breakfast 5-7 for lunch and dinner, while McDonalds has 10-20 for breakfast, and 20-35 for lunch and dinner. And Mcdonalshad their burgers in a hot box and are made hours before, at Sonic the burgers are at the mimimum warmed before going out to you, but usually are finished cooked before going out. And unlike McDonalds our fries, tots,and other fried Items are made when you order them, not like McDonalds where they make tons at a time and are almost never hot or fresh.

I love Sonic but, I hate your new ad on tv. It has made me want to stop eating at Sonic. It's like someone scraping their finger nails down the black board. Please please change it. Thank you.

I visited the sonic in San antonio Texas at us highway 281 and loop 1604 to order one of your new hotdogs I've heard about and was very disappointed with the customer service. Aside from myself there were only two other cars there. All I ordered was one of the new hotdogs, a chili chess coney with some kind of sauce and fried onions and a large sweet tea, it took almost 15 min. For me to get my order and when I did the hotdog was cold and the tea tasted very old. It was around noon and when I asked to speak to the manager I was told that she was busy and that I would have to wait, after almost another 15 min she came, looking very frustrated, I explained to her my hotdog was cold and she looked at me and said that she would be happy to sell me another one but that I would have to pay full price. That is ridiculous I said, she responded that was their policy and if I had a problem that I would need to take it up with sonic. I am very disappointed with this sonic and don't think that this woman should be running a sonic even though she looked almost fifty she acted more like she was still in high school.

When ordering a crispy chicken sandwich to go at the sonic on 407 in lantana, Texas discovered the chicken pattie was substituted for chicken strips on a bun. My husband ordered the same sandwich and he also received chicken strips on a bun. We should have been advised that they were not preparing and serving what is advertised on their menu board.

Sitting here at the kenedy Texas location waiting for them to show up! Supposed to Be open for business at 6am and it's now 7am. Ugh!

The chicken dinner is no longer what you served, you have lost customers trying to eliminate the quantity to save a few more dollars but in the long run you did not gain anything but lost a lot of your clientele and I am one of them. Sonic is no longer what it used be. You should have thought twice before limiting quantity of food. You should have realized you are surrounded by so much competition. Hope this open ip your eyes and go back to your old menu. For now I am no longer a fan of sonic.

i just started working at sonic here in kentucky after moving here from another state, i am a car hop and they r trying 2 force me to skate after i keep getting injured. i spent the other night in the er after falling again at work and they even made me wear broken skates and wont order me skates that fit and that arent broken. all the workers there r rude and only talk shit about each other and i cant stand it. last i knew it wasnt required to wear skates to car hop and they keep telling me that if i dont wear skates i will be fired cuz its part of the job?!!?!?!? im looking for a new job especially after being in the er, them fighting about not getting workers comp to pay for it and saying they dont even have the forms in the store, and im not risking anymore of my life for them, i was born with spina bifida and it is now worse cuz of them. i am looking for a new job. not only that but they take money from your tips away and i dont think thats right. im making less than minimum wage bcuz of them.

I just went to the sonic drive in on west county r.d in Odessa tx.....their service is ridiculous.....I pushed the button to order and I wasn't quit ready to order.....so then I pushed it again and they had me waiting for a long time and wouldn't say anything.....I kept saying hello hello and the workers inside were just.looking at us laughing how absurd........this happened @ 5:45 p.m.the fellow laughing had ling black hair with some ling side burns......

I recently was just working at sonic and I got wrongly fired I would like to make a complaint about everything that I had experienced working there but I'm not sure where to go. I would like to complain about my general manager because I was wrongly fired and didn't fill out no termination paper and my general manager was present but had his supervisor do his job for him and fire me with no excuse.

I want to talk to someone High up in the Coroporation.. I walked into a Sonic Batroom after and Employee had just "cleaned" it and walked right into a cloud of POT SMOKE.. the guy was so high could barley walk... I have heard foul lanuage over the intercom and racist slurs against the white works in the store... There use to be a good balance of black and white in the store and the last time I went to the store it was total Aferican American. the store number is Sonic Drive-In 3504... This store is a sham and is worthless the whole store needs to be revamped and needs an over haul.. SOME ONE HIGH IN THE CORP, NEEDS TO CONTACT ME OR I WILL MAKE CONTACT . 931-542-7452

My son has worked there, put on the books he was leaving for 8 weeks Military training, he came back and was told that they were over staffed, but to keep calling for an open position. Well since he was active duty, he job should of been held, per the Military leave act. We have gotten the State labor board involved along with his JAG officials. Sonic is going to regret trying to screw over an active duty Reserve vet!!

I ordered a jr double cheeseburger and it wasnt what I got and when they corrected it it was all cold ...cheese wasnt even melred...totally disappointed....this was the stateline sonic in texarkana....
