TODAY MY SISTER AND I WENT TO YOU'RE PLACE IN PUEBLO CO.FIRST OF ALL I STILL SEE NO PURPOSE IN THE MINITURE CHEESE BISCUITS. THEY ARE SO TINY .THE SALAD BAR USED TO BE THE BEST IN TOWN.NOW IT'S THE WORST.THE SALADBAR WAS MISSING THE BEETS.COTTAGE CHEESE.GARBANZO BEANS.FRUIT.POTATO SALAD AND SEVERAL OTHER ITEMS.THE SALAD DISHES ARE SO SMALL,BUT THE PRICE HASN'T GONE DOWN.THE GLASSES ARE SMALLER.THE SPOONS FOR THE DRESSINGS WERE WASHED OFF SO YOU COULDN'T TELL WHAT THE DRESSING WAS.I GOT A DIRTY SET OF SILVERWARE AND ASKED FOR ANOTHER SET.IT TOOK THE WAITRESS OVER SIX SETTINGS OFF OTHER TABLES AND THEY WERE DIRTY.SHE FINALLY WENT TO THE MANAGER,AND HE CAME OUT TO APOLOGIZE,THE DISH WASHER WAS DOWN AND THEY WERE COMING TO FIX IT AT THAT VERY MOMENT.SO DO YOU SEND OUT DIRTY SILVERWARE.THE NAPKINS THEN ARE CONTAMINATED AND I SURE DO HOPE THEY DON'T REUSE THEM TO WRAP AGAIN.I AM VERY SAD TO SAY THAT I USED TO LOVE TO GO TO RUBY TUESDAY.I DO UNDERSTAND THE ECONOMY ETC.HOWEVER..YOU WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BEING IN BUSINESS AT THE RATE YOU ARE GOING YOU WILL HAVE TO CLOSE DOWN.NOBODY SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND,WHEN A PERSON OR PERSONS GO OUT TO EAT IT NEEDS TO BE A PLEASENT EXPERIENCE.IT'S NOT WHAT YOU DO EVERY DAY.SOMEBODY NEEDS TO WISE UP OR FORGET IT.BY THE WAY THE SERVICE WAS GREAT.I FELT SORRY FOR THE WAITRESS.THE MANAGER WAS VERY APOLOGETIC.HE PROBABLY HAS TO APOLOGIZE ALL DAY LONG...........PRETTY SAD WAY TO DO BUSINESS.
I went to eat at the ruby Tuesday in ALBANY GA. This is by far one of the worst Ruby Tuesdays I have ever been to. My server was a young lady she was excellent, but I ordered a steak Medium Rare and it came out well done. My son ordered a burger and fries not only did his fries not come out with his burger because they (weren’t prepared yet) but the ones they did send out came out well after his was done eating his burger. I sent my steak back to the kitchen and asked to speak with a manager, when my server went to get a manager she was sitting at the table eating a meal in the dining room and texting on her cell phone. She didn’t once get up and come to my table and check how I was doing on even come speak to me she just voided my steak off of my ticket and gave the ticket to my server. It took the kitchen 15 mins to make me a new steak and by the time it came out my sides were cold. The salad bar was dirty and my glass had a crack in the bottom of it. I have eaten at ruby Tuesdays in other locations and his by far is the worst experience I’ve ever had. Managers should never be allowed to be on their phones in plain sight let alone eating while the restaurant is busy. I was not put first by the manager it’s in not my server’s responsibility to fix every problem. Something needs to be done
I will never frequent Ruby Tuesday again after finding out that a waitress was fired yes fired for asking someone to pay their bill. The people were allowed to eat and enjoy their meal and then got up and walked out when the waitress followed and ask them to pay they were rude and kept walking. I ask why she followed them out she said that if THEY didn't pay she would have to take her tip money to pay their bill, (which is stupid in its self I guess these restraunts dont have money for cash registers as I understand that a waitress has to keep all the money from her shift in her apron) I would have followed them out too! And the kicker is this person is 8 months pregnant. Well the scum that left without pay their bill were able to call corporate and complain about what I'm not sure, and Corporate sent an email to the waitress telling her she was fired can you believe that an email. I have waited tables and I know it is not easy the public can be mean but I thought your managers and your company is suppose to have your back but not Ruby Tuesday they allow a complain from a theif get someone canned withur hearing her side of the story. I use to go to Ruby Tuesday at least 3 times a month but no more and I will let everyone know why. This will not stop here I will contact the media on this!
I forgot to mention in my last review this the location of the Ruby Tuesday is hwy 40/42 Garner NC.
I do not give this location a 5 stars it ranks 1
This rating is not bc of food, but because of a VERY MOUTHY pregnant server named Bobbi at the Garner, NC location on 65 Son-Lan Parkway. Our receipt has a clear disclaimer "Please be aware you can increase, reduce or eliminate the gratuity as you see fit." Instead of the $23.95, we tipped $15.00. Bobbi detained us in the parking lot and flat out accussed us of NOT paying our bill. We rebutted and showed her our receipt of our bill 133.06 plus 8.98 in tax plus 15.00 in tip being 157.04 which is what we left. She rebutted that we only gave "her waitress" 8.98, (duh, she was reading the TAX line!!!!!' and said we needed to return inside the restaurant and take care of our bill. When iniside Bobbi gave us our cash back walked away and left us standing there. The waitress, Madison, came over and tried to collect more money. NOT Happening - our bill was PAID IN FULL!!! Shawn comes over and stands there looking at the receipt and I asked who he was bc he truly was not acting like a manager that he said he was. he agreed our bill was paid and we asked for an apology from Bobbi who was adamant we fled without paying and she detained us in the lot insisting with forceful language that we return to take care of our bill. If cash was missing, who picked it up and took it out of the little black folder after we left? If we were fleeing our bill why did we go over to Madison before leaving, hand her the folder in person and tell her how wonderful she was and thanked her personally? If the false accusation was not enough humiliation, Bobbi lashed out at Shawn, the supposed manager saying it didnt matter to her blah, blah, blah and began yelling at us across the bar area gaining the attention of other customers. We are fully embarrassed more than ever asking that she just admit she was wrong and apologize and she began to yell absurdly yelling Bye! Bye! and waved us on out the door refusing to apologize!!!!!!!! I was livid! I returned back and asked Shawn for my receipt and the DM's name. He complied. When I got home I called Shawn back and asked why that scence had to happen. he said BOBBI was totally inappropriate and he agreed she was way out of line. I asked why he did not do anything. he said "short from putting my hand in her mouth what could I hve done, she was on the other side of the restaurant?" WOW! you could have gone toher and shut her down from causing a loud talking scence to defend her obvious self embarrassment for being wrong and being too sorry to say im sorry!
I havent really been to Ruby Tuesdays that many times. This past week 9 of us went to the one in Inman, SC. There were maybe 4 other tables occupied when we arrived. We had to ask 5 times for kids menus before we ever got them. Our glasses stayed empty until we kept having to ask for refills, two entrees came out wrong, when one entree was taking back it was returned without the fries, even though the fries were on the plate when taken back to fix the burgers. One entree was to come with the chedder biscuits... didnt they use to bring them anyway?.... We asked where the biscuits were for the entree and he said they were baking. The biscuits came out as we asked for our checks. When we made the waiter aware of the issues we had he kind of smiled and laughed it off. I dont think to be mean but he didnt know what to do. I asked to speak to a Manager. Who again, wasnt trained on how to handle complaints obviously. She never offered anything.... even the drinks for free for our inconvience. She simply smilled and apologized. Our portions were so small I think we all left still hungry. For 2 teas, a small sirion and 1 crab cake my bill was $35.00. I could have gone to Outback for that price and not left hungry! I will NEVER go back.
I recently visited the Ruby Tuesday in Greenbelt Maryland because I was excited about the TV Ad stating the "New Ruby Tuesday" with free salad bar and entree's priced at $9.95. I was very disappointed as was my husband who is a "Chef" and business owner here in Greenbelt Maryland. It is already hard for me to get him to go out to dine at times now I don't know when I will be able to get him to go out to eat with me. We were very disappointed with the salad bar (smaller plates, less items to select from), the free biscuits that looked like small cookies not to mentioned that we were told that the TV Ad was false by our server! There were no "new" menu items. We were both surprised at the portion size of the food we did order (small). I don't know what's going ......because we did not experience a "New" Ruby Tuesday. We didn't even experience the "Old" Ruby Tuesday. Our experience on a Sunday evening after church was horrible. I felt so bad for our server who tried to do her best to make us happy until I asked my husband if he could hire her to come and work for him because I don't know how long this restaurant will be open. I suggest you remove those mis-leading TV Ad's and maybe put those funds toward making the establishment better! I am still apologizing to my husband for our Sunday dinner and especially when we see your ad on TV.
Sorry service, sorry waiter and a child plate for your salad plate now! But the cost has not went down for that size plate of salad. Ruby Tuesday you need to change something and also go out of your way to be nice to your customers.
Kingsland ga order the crab cake mini for our to go order get home to see burgers ok people make a mishaps go back and get home again to open to see the crab cakes that was on the burger smashed to gether in one fist lump with oil in the middle how upset return back to this place never to eat again to hear the manager have a boat load of excuses please be wear of this sorry excuse of a place they call too eat
I went to Ruby Tuesday in Greenbelt, Md on Friday, August 3, 2012 and was treated so disrespectfully by the management (Matthew Switzer, and Nichole) to inculed its employees that I had no recourse but to call law enforcement. One of the servers stole my Ipad from my table and it was caught on camera, but not until the Police demanded that management roll back the cameras inside their kitchen. It took me almost three days to get my Ipad returned. I need corporate in TN to handle this immediately....
We have gone two times now, directions to the Ruby Tuesday was not correct, but with determination we found it finley. We have spent at least $20.00 + dollers first visit. we were told we could not get the salid bar that it no longer applies. Then why are you at the Corporate office still saying free salid bar with meals of $9.99 as of 8/11/2012, is that or is that not false advertisement. First visit was two of your BB Ribs platters and the next was the your most expensive Burgers, both times we were told we could not get the salid bar. Please explain this, this is just not right, your add for free salid bar is still on going. Eather take it off the air or start doing what you say. Free salid bar with a $9.99 meal. The servers were slow and did not seam to care one way or the other on one of our visits, and the other one was not much better.
I work for Ruby's in Ohio. And I'm sympathetic to a lot of your situations. I don't know if you've called or emailed corporate, and why your issues weren't resolved. In my district. Complaints are taken very seriously, and addressed. I'm sorry to hear this. I am not a manager. I'm a server. I think if your willing to go out and spend the money, you should have a great experience. However, as I'm sympathetic to some of these situations, I am somewhat mystified by others. As the man with the plastic piece in his biscuit. Really, we are only human, and yes it could of happened to someone else, but it didn't. And your meal was comped. And your still not satisfied? What else would you have the manager done? Ok, so don't go back, but really, what are the chances of it happening again? As far as the advertising..Although at this time there is only one meal starting at $9.99. But you are getting the salad bar free on over 30 other entrees. As far as it being free on some and not others, they still have to control costs, it is a business. Produce costs money, and alot of it. So yes it is free with the "selected entrees" and $2.99 to ADD it to others. $2.99 to ADD an ALL YOU CAN EAT Garden Bar. Really? If you go somewhere else, you'll pay that for a small side salad. Plus there other things up there besides salad it's not JUST LETTUCE. SO. I'm sorry that you can't subsitute your ALL YOU CAN EAT Salad bar for 2 sides. The cost doesn't add up. I'm sorry but it doesn't. Once again, it is a business and you need to respect that. They do things for a reason. That's why it is not included for all entrees. They do have some great Garden Bar Combo's and I know at our restaurant we really do try to please our customers. And also as a reminder. (AND THIS IS FOR ANY RESTAURANT THAT YOU USE A COUPON FOR) They have released alot of coupons over the past couple months and you need to remember to tip your server on the amount BEFORE the coupon. Not after. And 10% is not a good tip. We have to tip out our hostess, busser and bartender. So if you leave me $6.00 on a bill that was let say $33.00 but was $43.00 before your coupon (18% of 43.00 is $7.74) I am still tipping out my hostess and busser 1.5% each. and Bartender 1.0% of my food sales (before coupon) and if you got bar drinks (a flavored tea or lemonade or a cocktail) So that's about $1.50 that I'm tipping out to them which brings my tip down to $4.40. This is my job, what I use to put food on my table and pay my bills. My base hourly is $3.80/an hour. I'm supposed to be tipped to guarantee that I make at least min. wage. Which is about $7.80/hr in OH. I do try to make sure that everyone has a nice experience and if there is a problem, I try to make it right. That's all I can do. Remember that it's not my fault if your steak is not cooked right, or if it takes long. It's not my fault that your bar drink took more than 5 min. and it's not my fault if the hostess seats me 3x in a row or there are not enough servers on the floor, I'm only human in that aspect, and I can multi-task, but when your a server it's still one thing at a time. I know this site is for complaints, but I also want people to realize that not all servers are low-life's. I absolutely LOVE my job! I love to serve people and talk to them. I really do. So if your going out to eat, and you come in a bad mood, give the server a chance to put a smile on your face. Don't take your bad mood out on someone who is there to serve you. If you're that crabby, get take out and eat alone. ;-) And one last thing. If you've had these bad experiences, I can't stress enough to call Corporate and CLIMB UP The ladder until you are heard! Someone will hear you! If they haven't your not talking to the right people. Because all of my managers from the Front of the house to my GM to my District, to my Regional. They are very adamant about Customer Service. So I don't know what the problem in the South is. Good luck to you all. Again, remember to TIP your server!
I dined at the Towne Center Mall location in Kennesaw, Ga with my family and friends. Overall the experience was somewhat ok UNTIL my son's girlfriend quickly smashed a small roach crawling across the table toward my salad I was eating. I called the manager over sickened from the situation and told him what happened. He seemed to fight off his laughter over my complaint and half-assed apologized blaming the problem on the mall. He didn't seem genuinely remorseful at all...(words can be said all day but if you don't mean them why waste your breath??) Anyway he said he would "take care of it" for me. Quite some time later I rec'd my bill with a whopping 10% discount!! Unwilling to just let it go, I have contacted their corporate offices with my experience and they apologized and indicated someone would call me back and it would be not be a store manager but rather a manager over many locations. That was Monday, it is now Friday and still no call. I have called them back myself. Doubt I will ever hear from them. Ruby Tuesday...keep this kind of service up and you're going to be screwed royally!
My wife and I took our daughter and her family to lunch at the Omaha, NE store on Saturday, Aug 4th, 2012. Most of the meals were good along with over priced. But I had Parmesan Chicken Pasta. It was a mess. The sauce tasted poor and was hard to take. Then to top it off, they served chicken fried steak with the meal rather than pieces of chicken breast meat. It did not taste good and made no sense. Then to top it off, three hours later, I was in the bathroom at home sick. I should have known not to eat that when it did not taste right. I paid for it twice. Once in the cost and once more in the bathroom. I had brought what I did not eat home and I am not sure why. My wife decided to try just a small portion of what I had left. I warned her, but she wanted to try it. Well it sent her to the bathroom a couple hours later. I don't know if this is the standard meal they gave meal with that bad chicken or was it a fill in while they were out of chicken breast meat?
Rubys smyrna Tn OVERPRICED, food was horrible, and all the employees hanging out in the bar area, not serving customers. gave them three chances at this rubys, as our hotel was next to them. HORRIBLE! Tip to servers..If you want to flirt with guys at the bar, get a job dancing!
My sister just went to the ruby tuesday's in myrtle beach by the tanger outlets. She has a special needs child that can not sit up in one of their high chairs. So she took in her small umbrella stroller and they refused her service stating that the stroller would be in their way of traffic. What's the difference in a small stroller compared to a wheelchair? I am absolutely appauled that they would refuse service to a special needs child. Being a mother also to a special needs child this absolutey infurriates me. I will never step foot into another ruby tuesdays again for discriminating against a disabled child!!!
A friend and I recently went to a Ruby Tuesday Store located in Royal Palm Beach the food was better than most chains and the salad bar was one of the best in the area. The server was most professional and extremely pleasant. I called the manager to tell her how well run she is managing the restaurant. I would recommend going to this RT restaurant when you want a good meal at a reasonable price.
Went to rt for dinner ordered a chicken sandwich was told has two sides wanted frys and thought i would get salad bar for second side was told i could not do that unless i would pay 2.99 extra ...crazy 10.99 for a chicken sand. size was smaller then what it used to be . Why thee dollars more for a much smaller sandwich very pissed off 8.99 more than enough one side and salad bar for 1.99 with sandwich. rt should go back to the way they were when first opened should not try to be fancy 5 star rest.
My family and I had lunch at Ruby Tuesdays in Limerick, PA on Sunday. Our server was a young woman who was very knowledgable and courteous, however out food was over cooked and our outside seating resulted in myself and my son being stung by bees. There were at least four other tara outside with the bee issue as well.
