I have enjoyed dining at the College Drive location in Suffolk (Va) since shortly after it opened in 2003. Through it all, the restaurant always has the best food, outstanding staff (many of whom have become dear friends). I'm sure if I keep flipping the pages on this site I'll find 99% negative comments on here, since folks are a lot quicker to complain than praise. I just want everyone to know, I love my RT location (both in Suffolk are excellent) and this is a prime example of what's being done right in the casual dining restaurant business. Keep it up.

a few months ago i went to your location on rt 170 in beaufort SC. the service was bad. i told my wife tonight lets give them another chance. so we went in got seated. the waitress came we ordered our food,it took 15 minutes for my wife to get her drink. OK. no big deal. we ordered shrimp sampler to start. 20 minutes pass we got it.we ordered dinner chicken fresco and my wife Tuscan plate. over one hour after we ordered it the waitress comes out a says sorry we are out of zucchini. people that came in after us were having food served to them by servers,. the waitress was very nice and i know it wasn't her fault. i got up and told her to cancel our order. and we will pay for what we had to eat. i told her the service was very bad there. she went to get the check a manager brought it over,. didn't even say sorry for the problems. the only one that said that was the lady giving menu's and seats you when you come in. the lady manager looked at me when i told her the service was really bad here with a look on her face like who cares. I'm never going back to your restaurant again.om in the hotel business. i know good service. and i know when people just don't care. how do you run out of something on a three day week end?no one cares about service anymore. when i go to Florida every year i ate at ruby's never had a problem. your food is very good. and ill go back again when i go to my place in Florida. but i will never walk in to your location in beaufort SC again.. your kitchen people have a problem. remember this from an old salesman. service and communication is the key to success. at this time your location has neither.

I was in my local Ruby Tuesdays 5/26/11 @ 7:15 pm and the meal was not good I order the seafood trio the shrimp on the skewers were dry and the crab cake was a little over-cooked my hostess offered the table behind me biscuits but I had to ask for them I asked for a to go cup for my drink and my hostess never came back so I paid the $60.00 and LEFT.....I was REALLY diappointed Maybe I should have went to RED LOSTER INSTEAD little bit more exspensive but I would have had better SERVICE AND FOOD

So Dont work at ruby tuesdays in rochester ny the KM if sleeping with a cook and hanging out with all the highschool kids at parties real professional. Some of the laziest people dropping food on the floor and all sorts of nasty stuff I wrokrf there for a week and quit its disgusting never setting foot in another rubys ever

We ate at the Natchez, MS, Ruby Tuesday restaurant tonight. We were seated and then our waiter visited with friends close by and disappeared for 10 minutes! I tried to catch her before she disappeared because we were ready to order. However, we waited and waited for her to appear again. There must have been some interesting conversation in the kitchen because she failed to appear for so long!!! I ordered one crab cake with veggies. When she breezed by to speak with her friends again, my husband stopped her and asked if we could get our biscuits. She finally brought our food- she brought me two crab cakes which I did not order - with our biscuits and did not appear again until she asked if we were ready for our checks. I always give a huge tip for special waitress service and it was so hard to give her anything. Ruby Tuesday needs to train their waitresses to "wait" on their tables!!! I was extremely disappointed in the service tonight and I may not ever go back!!!

I left my IPhone in the Holyoke mall location after eating with my family. My husband called to inform that he left his cell phone their and that he was on his way to pick it up and the manager on that shift May 24 @9:00pm gave the cell phone to a stranger that could have been a friend of the waitress or someone in the establishment without confirming who it belonged to. When I called back asking questions of why they had given the phone to someone else the staff hung up the phone three times on me and then one of them told me there were two IPhone lost that night then the manager came on and told me he gave it to the person that said they lost there iPhone and that it was not his responsibility. :(

Lets remember for a moment that people whom can afford to eat out on occasion expect at least an experience of satisfaction. Sadly that is not what is offered at the Nashua NH Ruby Tuesdays. At 50 years old and a retired executive chef I hope what I say here carries some weight. First, I have never eaten at a Ruby Tuesdays until last Friday night. I was greeted in a corporate manner without sincerity or enthusiasm. I inquired for a menu and asked if the steaks were fresh or did they come in frozen. As to be expected from these types of so-called establishments which degrade the code of semblance of quality "frozen". It was around 8 pm. And I had not eaten all day. So against my better judgement I decided to eat at this establishment. I looked through the menu extensively and decided to go with the petite sirloin. I know what I said about frozen/fresh, but the menu had the normal garbage that the chain restaurants usually carry. So against my better judgement I chose this item. Immediately the waitress told me that the smaller cut, the petite, was tough and that I should go with the larger cut. Not to sure if she was upselling me, ( of all the restaurants that i have ran, i would never allow a representative of the food that i prepared or offered be allowed to give any opinion that did not reflect high quality and standards that all whom go out to eat should expect). I decided to stay with what I ordered; thinking that there should be no difference in quality from a 7oz to their 11oz sirloin cuts. Because i did not order both there was no way I could compare. Well I was not disdapointed as such that I did not know what to expect from a frozen cut of lo-grade cut of sirloin. Well the food arrived as it should have in short order, another corporate fo-paux. I guess it wasn't a minute into the meal when my server began bisseling the floor around me. Soon after the other servers decided to divvy up there tips at the empty table next to mine. I had enough and decided to leave, but not before utilizying the BOGO coupon that drew me to this establishment. I figured that I could order a sandwich and eat it tomorrow. I inquired to my server to what she would recommend and she pointed me to the chicken club. A fried frozen chicken breast filet with the usual crap breading. Well I just wanted to get out of there and agreed with her suggestion. To that I was offered 2 sides, wherein when I opened the box to eat the sandwich the the next day the sides were missing. Well I tossed the bread and nuked the patty. I took one bite and immediately noticed the taste of rancid vegetable fryer oil. So I ended up tossing that also. So to my point and this is not just for the R Tuesdays out their. People expect at the very minimum a sincere greeting, waitstaff that has the ability to transform the quality of the restaurants dining experience, and most importantly food that is fresh and prepared properly. This is a no-brainer. And this is for those consumers that want to spend their hard earned $$ on an occasional night out. Find a decent local restaurant. Sure the ambience might not be that of those corporate entities whose ideals of food is subjective of buying a $3 chicken sandwich at BK or McDonald's and charging you $11 all the while calling it a restaurant. Don't waste your time. As for this being a complaint or that I was in a bad mood to begin with, nothing could be farther from the truth. I was hungry and it was late. I knew what I was getting myself into when I pulled up. All this because I had a coupon. Well when I get the coupon for jumping off a bridge I most likely won't be using that nor will I ever use another R Tuesdays

this is a complaint going towards the ruby tuesdays in the trumbull mall, ct. so i was hired to begin as a hostess, and i started training. my first day in training went well, i hustled trying to buss tables for the waitresses because it was busy, answered phones, sat tables, walked around to make sure every customer was comfortable, i was polite and energetic, and all the employees i met my first day loved me and expressed how i already work harder than most of the hostesses thay have been there for some time. at the end of the day the manager took me aside and told me that he had spoken to the employees about me, and everyone agreed that i was definatly a keeper and they decided to even train me as a waitress as well as hostess! i was told to come in two days later in the morning, and when i arrived the manager had told me he was letting me go because he recieved calls from other employees saying they didnt like me (contradicting what was said my first day). when i asked what i did wrong he had no answer and changed his story to he got a text message! i think its very unprofessional to let someone go because one employee doesnt like another, and especially with no explanation! i have two children and i was on unemployment until recently and now when i call them back to say i no longer have a job i also have no reason why! whatever the real reason why i was let go should have been said, and maybe your managers should fire the lazy people instead of the people that need a job and are willing to work hard for minimum wage. Very poorly and unprofessionally done.

Here's to inform your office, that the State Of Tennesse Labor Laws concerning pay is that you have 21 days to at the most to get your payroll right! It is very wrong of your company that employees that work in the same communities as your corporate office have to jump through hoops to get their pay corrected. Your payroll pay card choice is the worst service out there, but it probably makes the best choice for to try and push due to a kick back. To all employees, you must really only use the direct deposit option as no one should ever have to pay fees in order to access your paycheck. It should only take two pay periods at the most for the direct deposit to take affect. That is relying on the fact that store management and payroll department actually do the job they are paid to do. Believe me none of them would wait a month to get paid! Check the laws and arm yourself. Worked for a nationwide buffet chain, that went under due to many of the same practices at fault that I know of with this chain. I should state I was a corporate accounting clerk. Lucky I transferred with my military husband before their demise. Note to general public: The servers that serve you, get $2.30 an hour!!!!!!! So every bit of pay is needed, most are students or with the economy this what they get right now!!!!!!!! Ruby Tuesday use to have a lot to offer, maybe you should go back to worked before you tried to get away from the so called "bar and grill", it worked leave the trying to be upscale to your Black Berry Farm. And don't do any new hires if you know you are ready to close a unit, it just makes for bad press and word of mouth.

My husband and I usually love the food. We ate at the Hot Springs Ar. Ruby Tuesday yesterday...May 15th 2011. The food was awful. I got a sickening Lobster and bacon mess...$16.99!!!!!!! Plus the salad usually makes up for the food always!!BUT you are changing it by reducing ALOT of items. We didn't say anything there but sure wanted to...not a fussy person but the more I think about our $45 mistake ...well.....we won't go back and spend that much for 2 people until the salad bar goes back to the one we loved...with all the items on it. :(

I am soo sorry for those of you that have had a bad experiance. Ive been withthis company for almost 5 years and I LOVE my job. I have more pride and passion every time I work. We offer FRESH food and salad bar, and when trained properly top notch service. Please give the company another chance, and I apologize for others lack of knowledge.

Dear people,i would like to share with you my first experience with Ruby Tuesday.I could not have had a worst evening, the restaurant located in pearl,ms. just off hwy.20 just south of Jackson,ms. one would think there would be no waiting at a restaurant with half the tables empty, wrong, at least 25 min. there. You would think you could get a glass of tea in a reasonable amount of time after being seated, hint, you can have your drink when the waiter finishes the latest conquest posting. my family and i are glad of the many menus available to read while we waited some more. Our waiter didn't write down our order so that was a good sign he'd get it wrong. He felt it best to memorize the order. We waited at least 30 - 40 minutes for our meal. My tea had no ice. I ordered triple prime cheddar burger. It came with no ketchup or steak sauce. I waited another 5-10 minutes for only ketchup. Had to remind him of the steak sauce. Waited again. Then, my cheese burger came with no cheese after I plainly told him not to forget the cheese. I sent my meal back. I'd had enough. Then they said they'd not charge me for the meal but when the bill came I was over charged for tea refills and ketchup and steak sauce. So much so that I ended up paying for the meal any way. To say the least, I will never eat there again and will pass the word around to anyone that will listen NOT to eat there.

Edited version: Dear RTInc.,I would like to share with you my first experience with Ruby Tuesday. I could not have had a worse evening. The restaurant was located in Pearl, Ms. just off hwy. 20 south of Jackson, Ms. One would think there would be at least little to no waiting at a restaurant with two thirds of the tables empty, wrong; there was at least a 25 min. wait before we could even be seated out of the chilled evening air. Even after we finally got to sit in a booth that was too small shown to us by a surly waitress with the flu (much like the rest of her coworkers). We tried to remain patient and light hearted about the unwanted ordeal, so you would think it should be reasonable to believe that one could get a glass of tea in a reasonable amount of time after being seated, hint, you can have your drink when the waiter finishes the latest conquest posting. I would, however like to express my appreciation for the many menus available to read while we waited some more. Our waiter didn't write down our order so that was a good sign he'd get it wrong. He felt it best to memorize the order. We waited at least 30 - 40 minutes for our meal. I ordered triple prime cheddar burger. It came with no ketchup or steak sauce. I waited another 5-10 minutes for only ketchup. Had to remind him of the steak sauce. Waited again. I have given Ruby's many chances over the years and they still have problems. Many many times my food is cold! How hard is it to have hot soup? Or a hot vegetable? Last night I noticed on their menu that "baked potato when available". Are you kidding me...? While I was eating my cold teaspoonful of cold mashed cauliflower, I even asked the waitress about that and she wasn't aware of it on the menu. They did inform me that they had them, but they weren't cooked yet. It was 7:30pm. What were they waiting for, closing time? A real loser of a resturaunt.

Just had dinner at your Carrier Circle Syracuse rest.and was totally dissapointed by the NEW garden Bar which I was told began today with fresh only ingredients displayed . I've been dinning at Rubys for over 10 years around NY and PA but this was the worst I've ever had because all the good stuff was gone . No hot peppers no cicci beans no craisins and the 10 new items sign displayed last time I was missing along with every thing else making the bar look vacant and no different than any diner with a sald bar but I didn't see the price go down --- are you kidding !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I visted your location on Interstate Dr in Tuscaloosa, AL tonight. It took 1 hour for us to get our food. They were not busy. The rice was cold as tho it was taken from the refridgerator. I told the waiter. We ordered a slice of Itatilin Creme Cake, it took 15 minutes to get that. Then I went to use the knife to cut it, as we were sharing it,the knife was stuck to the napkin with something dark. I had used the fork that was rapped in with it. I brought this to the attention of the Manager Mr. Trevares. I told him that I was a regular there and he ask where I was from. I replied that I had lived here all of my 60 years, but I would not be back. He brought the check and ask if there was anything else he could do and I told him he could take care of the check. He walked off and I left with out paying. I will not go back. The manager called one of his employees, who knows us, and ask our names. I called Mr Trevares and ask if he was looking for me. He said yes he didn't know I was going to skip on the check. I told him that he ask if there was anything else he could do and I told him to pick up the check. I told him I was a business person also and that my store had been blown away in the tornado that hit Tusclaoosa on April 27, so I knew about dealing with the public. I informed him I would be e-mailing corporate. The 4 gentlemen at the table next to us, sent their appitezer back 2 times. One of the gentlemen ask the manager if he had changed the grease latley. So I was not the only one dissatisfied.

Waitress and manager are sisters, sawthem doing coke in the bathroom at the palm coast fl location, thier also stealing coupons statin their customers never submitted one. Went to complain to te manager and she stated it was not a problem they tried to comp with food, next time I see it I'm callig the police. The manager is in on it!!!!

I have read these complaints and am apauled after reading remarks from people stating they are employed by this company.Do you allow your employed to attack customers with complaints for doing so on your site?I was going to leave a complaint however I think you should read them then remove them with peoples personal emails and information.I for one am shocked at what you have allowed these employed by your company to say to your paying customers!Ruby Tuesday has went from being my favorite restaurant to being my worste. Please review these attacks by your employed and get rid of them!I think the way these people have attacked your customers is amazing and that they have no fear or they would not put the names and locations on this site! It's confusing that this is a forum for customer complaints yet you allow your employees to act as antagonist!
