i did not rate because i applied on line for a restaurant manager position 3 times on your website, the only thing i can think of is that the human resources department are unorganised, and not capable of multi-tasking, either way a letter or email, would be sufficient telling me that i'm to old, or 26 years as a manager is to much experience, it's just no correspondence , this is not only iresponsible but i think you need to train your staff more often than once, thankyou for the opportunity and a email would be great
My family and I recently visited the Ruby Tuesday in what is known as "4 mile fork area" I believe the waitress told us. Fredericksburg, Va. There was 7 of us and it was late and busy, however the waitress treated us as if we were the only ones in the restaurant. The experience was fantastic. We were greeted immediately (opened door) by 2 very sweet young ladies and then sat quickly. Considering there wwere so many of us, we thought we would have a longer wait. Our waitress was there before we could even open our menues and was exceptional! Our food was excellent and served in a timely manner. I know people write you for "problems" they encounter, but I felt "great" experiences need acknowldged also. Thank you Ruby Tuesdays and thank you again to our waitress, Penny. I am visiting family in the area but my next visit I will DEMAND dinner again at Ruby Tuesdays... Thank you Mary S Reading, PA
My family and I had to leave our home due to hurricane Irene, and thankfully the evacuation route landed us in Wilson NC. We were feeling so many emotions, wondering if we would even have a home when it was over. We ended up staying in a hotel behind Ruby Tuesdays, and it was the perfect choice. Tired, hungry, scared we walked over to eat, a friendly host seated us, then with a smile that would make anyone on a bad day smile back, we were greeted with hi my name is Jennifer and I will be taking care of you today. We had that look, and she immediately picked up on it. The food was wonderful and my husband became a quick fan of the cheddar biscuits. Although there were several fine eating establishments in walking distance, we chose to eat there, for every meal but one. The second time we asked for Jennifer, by the time we sat down, she had already noticed us, had our drinks and of course the hot bread in hand, and this time instead of saying, I will be taking care of you today, she looked at me and said " Have you heard anything, are your friends and family that stayed behind ok"? My husband isn't an emotional man, but after being married for twenty-two years, his voice cracked when he thanked her for asking. We would like to extend a hearty THANK YOU, for letting us enjoy such warm hospitality. We made it back home and Irene was nicer that we could have hoped for, however she sent us to a city, that blessed us in more ways than one. Great food, great service and the best waitress we have ever had.
I owned a resturant of my own and I think what Ruby Tuesday's do to there wait staff should be illegal. Not only do they get "cut" and still have to stay till there last table leaves and their cleaning to done with no pay, they have to tip out everyone to the food runner to the bartenders to the hostess! They get tables according to their tip %...no one can control what people tip, especially in today's economy! Once there tips are turned in, if they made enough to cover the hourly wage of $2.13/hour plus the minium wage 7.25 , then Ruby Tuesday doesn't pay them at all! Their check is ZIP! Ruby Tuesday's is getting FREE LABOR! and the taxes come out of their pay check too! This exploits all the young people that work hard there.... something NEEDS TO BE DONE, this is not right!!!! They are making their money from the hard work people who need a job plus, those people are paying the wages of their other staff! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE???? NO WONDER THEIR A MULTI MILLION DOLLAR CORP. oh yea, now they have the kids doing all the cleaning as well....windows, and blinds have to be done every day!!!!! along with all the other cleaning that must be done on a daily basis The food at our resturant here in wv is very good, but now that I know the circumstance of which the server have to exist, my personal opinion has greatly declined toward this resturant.
Dear Ruby Tuesday Corporate Office, My wife and I reccently dined at Ruby Tuesday located in Russellville, AR and unfortunately, this is not a letter to complement our service, food, or overall dining experience. Although we have always enjoyed dining at your restaurant, the last couple of times have been unsatisfactory. The food was undercooked and the atmosphere was chaotic. The General Manager, Kim Bradshaw, shouts at her employees and chooses to use profanity at the guests range of hearing. Also, the other "managers" appear to be very young and unexperienced. I hope this matter is handled in an appropriate manner. L. Jackson, M.D.
When eating at your selden, ny location today I had a wonderful expierence as always until I was dumb founded to hear you would not be closing your resturant early on sat and that you were even OPENING (regularly) on SUNDAY. We ARE IN A STATE OF EMERGENCY Here on Long Island to be off the roads no exceptions stay in doors!!! we are being hit on Sat evening 6pm with winds of 55-75 mile an hour and after 8pm 95 mile an hour winds and through it all 15" of rain. For the first time in NY ALL TRANSIT SYSTEMS ARE SHUTTING DOWN SAT AT 12NOON THROUGH SUN!!! AND YOU ARE RISKING LIVES TO PUT MONEY IN YOUR POCKET!!! As a manager of a retail store i was glad to tell my staff today they would be punching out at 5pm on sat and our doors were closed as per our "corporate" by 4pm sat. and we are undetermined if we will be opening on Sun at all!! Flooding and power outages are at a 95% chance. a possibility of down lines for up to 3 days as per LIPA. Safety of our employees are first here in NY Corporate based jobs! I will not put another dollar in your pockets nor will my family, you can not be a "family oriented" resturant if you can't consider the welfare of your Ruby Tuesday family & their families as well. I have always liked your meals and our family treated kindly, but i will not pay to see people treated like that! You want it open come down from TN and work in those conditions for them...didn't think so. Word spread fast her on the island and i will have alot more stand beside me on this, prepare for the calls, emails whatever, but you should be shamed! I hope you change your minds on this and I do not have to see one of your employees faces on the cover of a Newsday over a buck! Very Sorry, a former diner of yours- EmiliaGrace & Family of Selden,NY
This is not my first complaint nor the second or third. But it will be the last and please don't try to send me coupons or free meals or anything I am done with Ruby Tuesday.I work for a physican practice we have 1hr for lunch and we order from Ruby Tuesday for lunch and we get delivery. Everytime we have a problem we always call and talk to the manager here in Orangeburg SC and they are RUDE!!!!!!!! No customer service skills at all. I think your managers could use some training. This particular day our order was 25 minutes late. I called just to check and make sure every was okay because they were late delivering and the person I talked to was really rude and didn't even care or apologize for the inconvenience. He said well all I know is she left a while ago and I don't know when she will be there she should be there and I have been in the office doing paperwork all day. I said okay I was just calling to check and by the way is it normal for you to deliver 25 minutes late? He said no like I said I have been doing paperwork all day and she has already left. I said well you act like you don't even care. I mean he could have said I'm sorry or apologize or she will be there shortly but nothing. He said I didn't say I don't care but like I said I have been doing paperwork and she already left. This did not help me with our problem. Here we are waiting on our lunch and we only have a little bit of time to eat. So finally the order gets here the delivery girl apologizes saying she had a lot of deliveries and get this THEY RAN OUT OF SILVERWARE!!!! So she had to go buy some and she was about to go get some more because she was out again. Not only was our food cold and they forgot a coke (although the delivery girl brought one back) and they were late now we had to eat with silverware that was unwrapped! How do I know where this silverware has been? I have tried over and over to complain but no one does anything about it but say oh let me give you a free meal! I don't want a free meal I can buy my own but this is ridiculous! Maybe that paperwork he was doing should have been an inventory list so they could order silverware. What kind of resturaunt runs out of silverware? The delivery girl is the only reason we keep going back because she makes sure we get our order correct but even she can't help you this time. We are DONE!
Okay, you had a 38 percent profit lost last quarter but yet the prices are on the rise!!! $10 dollar plus simple hamburgers, 4.50 cent 12 oz (draft)beer!! Really people? I purchased my shares in Rt at a resonable price but have now ordered them sold!! People, you don't get it!! In Lumberton NC, where at once you were a major player, your business is minimal! There are 4 other places that have taken all but a small amount of your business! For instance, Two Guys Grill sell 22 oz beer for $2.25 and every evening, there is standing room only!! Okay, that would be 2 miles from your fayetteville rd. store!! Don't get me started on the menu price. Last night at the bar I had chicken strips and fries for $1.99 The portions much more than yours and much cheaper! I believe your price for the same item is around 10? Love your staff though!! They are the bomb!! The best in town! Well, I quess it wont be long before you have to close one of the stores in this small town!! It's a shame and can be avoided! Lower your prices, go back to bar specials, add a simple ground steak with brown gravy to your menu,(WORKING MAN MEAL) Open the 5th street store for lunch!!! Board of education, a brand new huge Dept. of Social Service building just opened, no other legitimate competitor in the area and you are closed!! What?? They have to travel over to the other store for lunch!! Maybe you are not in the business to profit! Tax break maybe? If thats the case, close the restaurant and sell the property to Chilis!! Now they make money!!
I worked at ruby Tuesday, until last Friday. I walked in and my boss said he was terminating me. He claimed to seeing me on footage giving a drink away, when i asked to see the tape and he wouldn't let me. So I loved working for Ruby Tuesday but the management at my store was unfair and rude. I personally found myself miserable working under people who would act immature and talk about their employees! I have never been treated so horribly by a manager. I'm a great worker and i made a good amount of money each night. I had regular guests that now refuse to return. Thank you for your time and experience but I refuse to be treated like that again.
Was at ruby in pottsvile pa one no parking two how can you make some one pay 13 for a sandwich I can go down the st for same thing for less you's suck
Our group of 22 had made reservations 8/19 for around 7:30-7:45 p.m. We were a little early and had to wait a little. We had three tables. Our table of 8 was waited on first around 7:45. The other tables had received their food around 8:15 and we still had no food. Then we were told there were no baked potatoes (of all things as a staple veg) not to have. We all had to change our minds. At 8:30, we still had no food and the others were almost finished their meals. The waitress said she would get us some more biscuits(hard and cold), which we never received. At 8:45, still no food. Several couples had made the decision to leave around 8:50. The food finally arrived. My husband and I did because of medication taking. I have never received such a wait at a restaurant that had almost cleared out at that time of night and still have no food after such a long wait when the others received theirs and were ready to leave. I have heard many people say the service in Waynesboro, VA was not good and they were right. That will drive people away for sure. The last time we visited there the same thing happened but only with a party of 4. What is the problem??? I understand staff cutbacks, but poor service isn't the way to keep customers. Thanks -
I actually ate at your resturant in montgomeryville Pa. often when I used to live there and loved the steak with seasoned mashed and broccoli.....Why in the world wouldn't you have resturants in So.California ...??????????
i was at the albany ruby tuesdays and the GM I think his name was Rich or Richard something like that Was Verbally abussive to his Wait Staff blaming them and treating them very poorly though through the swinging doors the yelling could be heard i felt sorry for the server(s) he was yelling out i hope he's always NOT LIKE THIS
dined at gatlinburg r.t.servers were friendly but whole ordeal took forever and was unorchastrated out of sync you might say.sons food arrived well ahead of ours not cool when you want eat as a family.each request be it drinks or dessert just tool too long.they weren't busy.first visit, most likely last.very poor impression to vacationers
After reading all these reviews, I will never eat in one of your restaurants again
I am a great fan of Ruby Tuesday or was ... the salad bar use to be the best in town but has hit an all time low for freshness tonight. My hamburger was dry enough to spit dust. The brocolli I love but someone spilled the buttered garlic or salt shaker on my portion and I quickly pushed them aside. Overall my rating for this evening at Ruby Tuesday..... POOR and have no desire to go back.
GREAT JOB AT RT'S MONTAGE MOUNTAIN.. MOOSIC, PA GREAT PLACE, FOOD IS SO GOOD. WE GO THERE ALOT AND ENJOY IT VERY MUCH. PLACE IS SO CLEAN AND THE EMPLOYEES ARE ALL VERY NICE. WE GET TREATED SO NICE THERE AND I JUST WANTED TO COMPLIMENT ALL THE STAFF THERE. JIM
I work for a doctor's office and regularly, drug reps pick up our lunch and bring into our office. Today, we ordered lunch from Ruby Tuesdays in Somerset, KY. One of my co-workers ordered a simple baked potato. Aside from the fact half the order was left out, this potato looked like it had been microwaved for three hours and was about the size of a roll of quarters. I have NEVER seen anything like this and refuse to believe that if we had been in the restaurant in person we would not have been served something that looked like this. Not only that, but when I called to let the manager know what had happened, she was very rude and hung up on me, offering no refund, or replacement. I nor my co-workers will ever eat there again!
I just want to tell you this. We were regular customers at Ruby Tuesday. So when I went up to give my name. I had told her I wanted to sit next to the salad bar and a booth. I was also that there will be a 5 minute wait. That turned into a 15 minute wait. Plus they were takin people ahead of us that came after us. We had two and the others had two or three people. I was about ready to go up and cancel going there. When we we called we were placed as far back as possible. No where near the salad bar. I was so upset that I did not order like I would have. I had ordered Asian dimpling. That I am not going to eat with an upset stomach. Plus it was the hottest day this summer but it felt like we were in the freezer it was so cold. I would have ordered spare ribs salad bar and a dessert. So our waiter lost out on a good tip because of how upset I was. When the person went to sit us she had passed five booths that had no one in them. This happened in Poughkeepsie Galleria Mall I'm Poughkeepsie, New York July 22, 2011 at 7PM I can tell you this all my friends is going to gear about this to.
The food in your restaurant is great, how ever my wife and I miss the hanging Tiffany lamps. We would like to know where you purchased them so we can order one for our dinning room. Please respond to us at gioverholt@rushmore.com
