In Old Bridge, NJ - Ruby Tuesday's runs an offer for "free fondue". If the server does not offer free fondue by the time drinks are brought out, you receive it for free. I sat up at the bar, where this offer was placed on the bar table. I ordered. I was brought my drinks. No fondue offer. So, I requested my free fondue, which the bartender agreed with. He went to order it and then came back, saying his manager told him it does not apply to the bar. I asked to speak with the manager. The offer for free fondue is on the bar table, nor does it say that it does not apply to the bar. It says "if your server does not offer you." The Ruby Tuesday's manager comes out and tries to tell me bartenders are not included in this offer. I told him, the offer is being advertised ON the bar table, the bartender took my order and *serves food* - he is a server. He argues with me, saying that the advertisements they get are "from corporate", and he has nothing to do with it. That they are put out with the drink offers, that's why they're on the bar table. In reality, the advertisements are are just paper slips, easily replaceable with other drink offers. I told him he should easily remove the paper slips and replace them with other drink offers - it's false advertising otherwise. He fought with me telling me to "call corporate if I have a problem with it.", and offered no compensation for his false advertising, argument, or misunderstanding. The bartender kept quiet after that, and the other staff was not humble. I will never go there again. I can only call this manager, Victor, a greedy and unreasonable person for not apologizing for a misunderstanding nor offering any compensation for making an uncomfortable night for myself.
I went to Ruby Tuesday's because of a 25% off coupon in the mail. My girlfriend ordered chicken which was fine, but I ordered Rubys minis burgers (well done, I might add) and saw pink insides after one bite. I sent them back, and they literally slapped the same patties back on the grill for a minute or two. I got them back and was hungry enough to make the mistake to finish them. About an hour later, I threw up the entire contents of my stomach and felt sick for two days. To top it all off, I went back and complained to a manager about it, and she passed me off to the corporate offices which made one attempt at contacting me during the workday and will not pick up the phone no matter how much I call. Ridiculous!
My husband and I love Ruby Tuesday, and we went there at least 1 a month if not more. We are very upset that you pulled out of Washington State. You left us high and dry with no warning. The closest Ruby Tuesday is in Beaverton, Oregon. Almost 200 miles away. Are you going to bring Ruby Tuesday back to Washington any time soon. We are very sad that they are closed. We loved going there for the Salad Bar PLEASE bring our Ruby Tuesday back to the state of Washington. Especially to the Tacoma area.
I ate or tried to eat ate r t in Newport TN.. About the time my food arrive to the booth directly behind the bar.... The bar tender hands a friend at the bar a paper cup with a napkin to spit his tobacco while I am eating.. Sickkkkkk. I sent a letter and email which was prompted to the location.. Have not heard a word back except a verification email saying how important I was and how someone on there team would contact me.... Place is a mess.. Beware
My wife and I and two "special" citizens went to eat at Ruby Tuesdays in Gloucester VA. The hostess was very nice, she sat us down and said that our server would be with us shortly. We were very hungry! There were three servers and who only had two tables apiece. They looked at us but avoided us like the plague. Even the manager came onto the floor and assisted other customers but ignored us. Twenty minutes later no contact, no drinks,no nothing,so we left and took our business next door to "Little Italy", and spent $120.00 there and had a Fantastic seafood lunch. There was only one server for the whole dining room, and she was fast, polite and professional, and the food was to die for !!!
Ok I went to Ruby Tuesday in Philadelphia on 17th and Chetnut Street. We had a party of 10. We all just left from seeing the Play Madea Get's A Job. We decided to go out and eat good idea but wrong choice as to where to go eat. The service was great. Now here is where it started going down hill. 5 adults and 5 kids All adults ordered drinks and it was overpowered but chunks of Fruit in every drink. The main course some was overcooked, some was undercooked or just plan NASTY. The best thing was the starters. I will never, ever dine here again by far the worse meal in my life
we went to bristol,ct location and we were looking for the menu for the 9.99 with the salad bar and was told that they are using middle of the menu items and they are with the salad bar. the items were all over 10.00. then when we received the meals they were cold so we sent them back. they came back and they were still cold. the waitress didnt even come to check if we needed drinks i had to call over the manager and finally got them. but the waitress did make up for the hard time by giving us free dessert.
I read all comments. Sounds like a common theme with RT. Jacksonville FL 32224 WIndsor Park Commons. Lack of professionalism. Suppose to be a family place. The only thing that is family is many family members of the same family work there! Majority of business is from visitors to the hotel or persons traveling to the beach. Bartender is more interested in impressing the men with her low cut top. Not that there is a problem with this as it will help her tips, but should not be at the sacrifice of any others at the bar. Maybe she will provide you with your silverware and maybe not, good luck trying to get her attention and if you do finally make eye contact she is so "put out" by having to serve you. Living in Chicago I have to travel to Mayo for business and stay at the hotel directly across from this RT. I would rather get something from the Shell gas station or the Publix than give my business to this RT. Looked for the GM name on the door. Not one, no wonder he was most likely getting bombarded with complaints. I went to RT web site to read their Rules of Business Conduct and all other affiliated material for RT. Even looked for their Mission Statement.......Largest amount of information was about financials....near next to nothing on RT expectations of employee behavior and acceptable. performance. For all those looking to go here just go another mile down Hodges towards Beach Blvd and you will find many restaurants that treat you like a valued customer....this RT will never get it, they are a service industry and they choose to not serve with the high standards of other like establishments. Now that I have read all the complaints above there is a common theme. I know now, divert to any restaurant other than RT. P.S. Their stock was down again today, go figure!
Your Holmes/Ridley, PA location: You have a server there named Samantha who just got out of drug rehab for addiction to snorting percocets and you hired her. do you not do drug screenings????? warrants out for her arrest Do you not do background checks????? she stole over $200,000 of coins from her grandparents house in January, she is now snorting heroin based products, pills. in a pen tube. and she then goes to work. I called the manager Paul over at the eatery, told him all about Samantha and she still works there. I would not want her waiting on me if I ate there. you and applebees' hire drug addicted employees and know about it but dont fire them.
my wife and I eat out at least once a week and usually end up at Ruby's as it is close to the theatre besides having good food--we really like the chicken fresco--we haven't gotten any coupons for awhile and are taking a large family bunch out for a belated mothers day dinner--could you help us out?! we would really appreciate it--please send it to my email that's on file for your club--thank you
HORRIBLE.... The food wasn't good. The service was good until. I checked my account and there were some fraudulent charges on my account to Ruby Tuesday.
I was refused service and asked to leave at Ruby Tuesday on West Lucas in Florence, South Carolina on May 17, 2012 because we were black. The hostess started to seat us when a white coupledidn't like there table by the bathroom while the hostess started to seat us, however, she took the white couple to the booth that she stared to seat us in. I complained to the manager and they seat us, however, none of the white waitress came to serve us and the manager and owner came around and said you all haven't been serve yet, and I told him no and he started taking our drinks order, and he said we were rude to his hostess and refused to serve us and asked us to leave which we did. We went outside and called 911 to report the incident. The Sheriff officials responded and said that we would have to take that up with Ruby Tuesday, which we did, and now we are back into Washington, DC and will continue to pursue this racial incident.
Why did the Ruby Tuesday in Griffin, Ga. close so suddenly?? Here today and gone tomorrow, without warning.
I went to rt on tuesday. Had not been in a while so decided to treat my self to lunch after a visit to dr's office. I looked at the menu saw the shellfish trio and thought it looked very good on the cover. I ordered it. But to my disapproval ihad a very small crab cake that was discribed as jumbo.only three small shrimp that were discribed as jumbo. And a piece of lobster that could be eaten in one bite. i asked the waitress. If this was a lunch size serving she said that was the serving size doer 18.00. I could have gone to red lobster and gothree or four times the food for thatamount. That will never happen again.
Has anyone from Ruby Tuesday Corporate Office eaten at their restaurant lately, I don't think so? I understand why they are having to close some of the restaurants, and I really hate that because I used to love it. Someone needs to wake up and do something about the food or a lot of people are going to be out of work, if the restaurants close you don't need a Corporate Office. I can't tell you how bad the food was and how sick I got. No More Ruby Tuesday for this family!
I went to the Ruby Tuesday on Veterans Parkway in Columbus, Ga and had a terrible experience. The resturant was not croweded and the wait time was slow due to not enough wait staff. My daughter had the seafood trio with sweet potatoe fries. The meat on the lobster tail was so small it was almost nonexsistent and the sweet potatoe fries looked and tasted like they had been sitting around and recooked. After one look at that plate the food should never have been served. Someone in that kitchen including the waitress should have refused to send it out. Over the years the quality and quantity of the food served at Ruby Tuesday has gone down. The once fantastic salad bar has gone down in the choices of vegtables served. Although the ad claims that there is 30 items on the menu where the salad bar is free it was not free with our meals that came to over $90.00. I will not be eating there again.
Very disappointed with your salad bar. We eat at Ruby Tuesday at least once a month. When we travel we always look for Ruby Tuesday on the road. Our visit to your location in Jensen Beach, Florida on April 22nd was terrible. The salad bar was not very inviting and was not too fresh. On our way home from Florida we always stop to have dinner at your Effingham, IL location. It also was a disappointment. I asked to see the Mgr. Fred Richter. He did not even have the courtesy to come over to our table. The salad bar was also a disappointment. Almost every item at the salad bar needed to be replenished. The crab cake which was once ny favorite was terrible. It was like eating fried bread crumbs. NO CRAB MEAT!!!!!!!! I think RUBY TUESDAY is on my S....list!!!!
Hello the Ruby Tuesday in Pike Creek Shopping Center In Wilm DE was the worst ever. The serve was awful. We ordered A chicken dish and a burger. The chicken was suppose to have a sauce and mushrooms.Neither of those were on the chicken dish. A burger was ordered no flavor I beleive it was made with saw dust. The server could have cared less about our complaints.Yet alone the manager whom never showed up at the table will never go there again..................
Came to your resturants for the salad bar with BEETS. Why would you take away beets? I will not go again until beets are back thank you. sam morgan 3807 granada st. tampa fl. 33629
My son and his wife took me to the Ruby Tuesdays for a belated Mother's Day dinner at the Muscle Shoals, Al location. We asked for the menu that is advertise on TV for 30 items @ 9.99 including salad. We were told by the waitress that it did not exist just an advertisement. Why would you mislead customers with false advertisments. We are lucky to have many good restaurants in our area and I doubt seriously that we will choose Ruby Tuesdays in the future if this is the way you encourage business.
