WILL NEVER DEAL WITH ROOMS TO GO (RTG) AGAIN!!! FIRST THEY ASK ME TO SHOW A CREDIT CARD AND DRIVER'S LICENSE TO GET A RTG CREDIT CARD SO THERE WOULDN'T BE ANY INTEREST UNTIL 01/01/2014. THEY CHARGED MY BANK OF AMERICA (BOA) CARD AND THE RTG CARD FOR PART OF THE FURNITURE I ORDERED. GOOD THING I INSPECT ALL CHARGES ON ALL MY STATEMENTS! WHEN I REPORTED IT TO THE RTG MANAGER NAMED ROY, I WAS TOLD HE WOULD CALL ME BACK. I NEVER WAS CALLED BACK. I HAD TO CONTACT B.O.A. AND FAX THEM STATEMENT COPIES SHOWING BOTH CARDS WERE CHARGED. NOW I MUST WAIT ABOUT A MONTH TO SEE IF THE DOUBLE CHARGE IS CORRECTED. PLUS THEY BROUGHT OUT THE WRONG TABLES THE FIRST TIME. I DIDN'T KNOW UNTIL I PUT THE 3 TABLES TOGETHER AND MY WIFE GOT HOME TO TELL ME THOSE WEREN'T THE TABLES SHE ORDERED. HAD TO WAIT A MONTH FOR REPLACEMENT. WHEN THEY BROUGHT OUT THE RIGHT TABLES, RTG WERE TO PUT THEM TOGETHER AND LET ME INSPECT THEM BEFORE LEAVING AS I HAD TO LAY DOWN DUE TO JUST HAVING OPEN HEART SURGERY. WHEN THEY FINISHED CONSTRUCTING THE TABLES, THEY HAULED BUTT WITHOUT ME INSPECTING THE TABLES. IT TURNED OUT THAT ONE OF THE TABLES WAS DAMAGED. FRIENDLY TO GET YOUR MONEY! DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AFTER THAT! WILL USE A QUALITY FURNITURE STORE IN THE FUTURE.

I just filed a compliant with the BBB!!! Rooms to Go customer service sucks!! I will never buy from them ever again!! And I will tell all my friends and family never to buy from them!!!!

We bought the Granby Dining room set back in May 2012. Within 2 weeks we had the dining room table and chairs with the understanding from the store that the buffet and hutch would arrive in June. The buffet came, was damaged and scheduled for replacement in a week. The day came as well as two days of confirmation phone calls then 45 mins before delivery, it got cancelled. Reschedualed to now August 28,2012. Got it expedited to today, August 3,2012. Buffet was okay, hutch damaged. No response from RTG except "we'll check into it" Never again RTG !!! Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice, shame on me!

On July 19, 2012, we brought a sofa and love seat from Rooms to Go. The delivery date was set for July 25th. The sofa and love seat that they brought was the wrong color. Another date was scheduled for August 1st. The delivery men arrived with the same color sofa and love seat that we already had. Now another date is scheduled for August 7th. You would think that someone could follow-up and check with whoever is approving furniture to leave the warehouse to ensure the right items are being delivered. Someone at that warehouse is getting paid and not doing their job, and that includes their supervisor. It may be better if I rented a truck, drove to the store, and took the items off of the floor. Somebody needs to be fired in that warehouse.

If you purchase furniture from rtg, you'd better be retired or unemployed without a life because you will wait all day through the "delivery window" they give you but will never come. Worst delivery service in the area!

Do not bother to call the corporate office, because they do not call you back. That is why there customer service is so poor. I have never in my life had a CR person speak to me in such a derogatory manner. I to purchased a bedroom set that came damaged and I have been through a lot trying to get the problem solved and from her supervisor to the assistant store manager and corporate office not one person has stepped up to the plate to fix my problem. I have not had my furniture more than 3 months and it is still not solved. You notice you cannot find the CEO's email anywhere and every time I call I get his voice mail.

The informed us that one of the items is not available for a month and they would deliver when it arrives. Well the item is in and they will not deliver until they say they are ready. With our jobs we travel frequently through out the year. They claim this is not their concern. The said if we delay the delivery from their scheduled date it will delay another week and then another week and so on. I am currently on hold on the phone for the last 30 minutes waiting on the general manager of the store mentioned above. They are hoping I will just hang up and go away. By the way they have crappy music. Don't go to this store if you expect anything closely resembling customer service. It does not exist and I have a feeling corporate knows of this. If I owned this business I would fire every one of them and all those in corporate and start over with an attitude that is conducive to customer service and appreciation. It's just a shame.

We purchased a sectional couch for two thousand dollars. We proceeded to purchase the additional warranty for fabric. We were instructed in the store that the couch had a warrantly and the additional cost we paid for the fabric would cover the couch for a life time. We were given very little in terms of the actual policy. Withing six months the frame of the couch shattered (come to find out it was constructed of cheap thin white pine and staples). The service people came out twice and finally I got a call from head quarters saying that their warranty does not cover it and they would not fix or replace the couch. I am now on a personal mission to let everyone know NEVER to buy a stick of furniture from this company and that their "guarantees and warrantees" are a sham.

Customer service is the worst ever with this company. I purchased 6000.00 worth of living room furniture and it was garbage in 1 year. The warranty doesn't cover anything even though they promise you the world when you buy it. The recliners had a pull cord to open them, and all 8 broke in the first 3 months. The leather faded ( how does leather fade? It isn't even near a window! They had every excuse in the book as to why they weren't going honor their policy, even though I had purchased the leather protector to get the warranty in the first place. What a scam!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RUN FOR THE HILLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a bedroom set site unseen because it wasn't in the store, with the promise from the sales Rep Jeff Berkow from store 214 Sarasota Florida. He said we would have 90 days to return it since we bought it site unseen. I waited 6 weeks before calling to return the set (well within my time frame) to try to work with the set and decided it was just too big and unmanageable, and when I tried to return it SUPRISE! he said no such thing and there is no such policy. Why would I buy a bedroom set sight unseen without certain assurances? No one would... but it's his word and his managers words against mine. I have been made to feel like a liar and an ass. I will NEVER EVER EVER BUY FROM ROOMS TO GO AGAIN!!!!!!!! THEY are LIARS! TERRIBLE SERVICE AND TERRIBLY UNETHICAL SALES PEOPLE.

rtg sent me the wrong items and they could not re deliver within 4 days and i had to leave to come back home, i was forced to buy the furniture in store at the ft myers location ,thus paying two delivery charges , i spoke to numerous people finally speaking with a manager ,steve, all he could do was talk and not listen, bottom line they were rood and unprofessional ,i ended paying $60 more and had to do all the leg work, avoid online rtg.

First let me start with the return penalties we were charged for a faulty product sold to us by your store. Had anyone informed us of the possible charges at the time of the initial sale we wouldn’t have been surprised at the time we returned the faulty product. We were never issued a copy of the warranty and had taken the word of the sales lady that should there be a problem in the future we need not worry because Rooms To Go would replace the product @ no charge to us. This is now a minute problem in comparison to what we were told yesterday (Sunday, July 15, 2012) by the store manager, Gerry McGruder. We chose a different mattress made by Carolina Mattress Co. The model we purchased was called the Embrace Firm model. We paid the $400.00 difference in price + delivery charge. We chose this mattress from a floor model of which we laid down on and found it to be what would work for us. We have since received the mattress set of which was delivered on Thursday the July 12, 2012. The first thing we noticed was how firm it was and that it seemed much firmer than the floor model. We slept on it that night and in the morning we found it to be way to firm and very uncomfortable. We decided to give it another couple of days and see if we would adjust to it. By Sunday morning we couldn’t take it anymore. This was not even close to what we experienced with the floor model. On Sunday my wife went back to the Naples store and told the sales lady of whom we have been dealing with from the very first mattress purchase, that the mattress we received was way to firm and wasn’t even close to the feel you get from the floor model. Now here is her reasoning, ”well hundreds of people have laid on it over the past year and that is probably why the floor model is much softer.” My wife asked what could be done about the fact we’ve been sold a product very unlike the feel of the product we chose. She said she would get the manager to help resolve the problem. Mr. Gruder (Manager) told my wife that he had informed the sales staff to tell customers trying out this floor model they would need to jump up and down on it for about two weeks to achieve the same feeling they getting with the floor model. He then tells my wife this is what she will have to do as well and she told him she can’t do that because she has a debilitating problem with her knees. His reply was to have your husband do it and then bid her a good day and walked away. The sales lady apologized and told her that it was just yesterday that the manager informed the sales staff to make this incredibly stupid statement to customers. She as well said that the mattress we have has probably been in the warehouse in an upright position for over a year and probably the coils have compressed. She apologized to my wife and said she was sorry she couldn’t be of more help. So here we are stuck with something other than that of which we didn’t choose and can’t use.

Horrible experience from purchasing to delivery. Sales guy was rude and made sly comments insinuating that I was cheap. Wrong couch was delivered and it was ripped they made marks on my wall. Delivery men and customer service told me it was the lighting. No one called me back to tell me when I was getting the couch I ordered. Also the sales guy added the furniture protection plan on my bill without telling me, it was an additional 60 dollars. They sent me a check for reimbursement but my bank said it was a wrong account number. The next day my kids bunk beds were suppose to be delivered between 11 to 3. At 12 30 they changed the time to 1 to 5 and would not cooperate when I told them I had to go to my kids school from 3 30 to 5. They told me if no one was there it would take awhile to get my bunkbeds again. At 5 45 they called to say the delivery was changed to 6 to 9. At 7 25 they called and said 15 minutes. They did nt arrive till 11 o'clock to set up when I had to turn them away cause my kids were already asleep. Driver said he would be back next morning between 8 and 12. As of 9 this morning I still have no bunkbeds and the wrong ripped couch and a refund check that I can't deposit. Never shop there.

Purchased sectional couch, and when it was delivered, middle section was 2 inches off ground. Store manager said they would send out replacement. It came, same problem-store manager out, had to call customer service, and still no resolution. I am hopefull for a full return of my money. Spent over 30 minutes of my time on phone and the company will NOT GIVE OUT the regional sales director's information out, what are they hiding? Go to City Furnuture if you live in Ft. Lauderdale!!!

I figured it out, RTG requirement to be hired is the following: be lazy, don't smile, get upset when you pick up items, unbelievable is all I can say about the customer service at RTG in North Richland Hills, Texas. And based on all the poor feedback that I am seeing, it is obvious that headquarters don't care, no wonder they are the way they are...

Rooms to go has NO cusotmer service. They have bullied me and I have currently filed suit agaibnst them! They are foolish, uncARING AND THE WAY WE CAN BE RID OF THEM IS TO BOYCOTT THEM. lOOKING AT THE MANY PAGES HERE, MOST GIVE THEM 1 STAR! POOR POOR POOR QUALITY SERTVICE AND CRAP FURNITURE..

I regret that I did not read ths prior to my purchase of 5000 worth of furniture. My delivery experience was abonimable.  The delivery was scheduled between 2 and 6. I received a call at 5:48 from a Spanish speaking deliver driver whose phone had horrible service. I could not make put anything the  guy was saying and despite my attempts to direct him to the office prior to their closing at 6 to be directed to my apartment..he continued to try to discuss with me the arrangements and then the phhone was disconnected. I did not receive a call back from w guy. I called customer service and they were unable to assist me. The delivery guy arrives to my house at 6:20, did not apologize for being late nor the inconvenienced caused. He tracked dirt Unto my new carpet, my bedroom set is damaged as it was chipped when he hit the wall which now has am hole in it, the wall is marks up with scratches, the bed was not assembled ith the mattress, he left all of the stirofoam and box debris on my carpet and outside in the hall, my lamp shade as well as lamp,are damaged. This was absolutely the worst. The damages to my condo will need to be paid for as well as new furniture will need to be sent. I am truly dissatisfied with my experience. 

i purchased 6000 worth of furniture and my matress after 6 mths started to sink in the middle and so i called the first time the exchaged it and it was good until another 6 mths same crapopo happend they came out and said i could go and choose another of eaqual value but they would charge for pick up and delivery screw them so i waited due to financial situations so a year later i called they came out and said it was a bad matress which i knew but they told me warrenty is voided screww them i will never buy their cheap ass furniture ass hoes.

I purchased the Cindy Crawford bedroom set. Its the cream leather headboard with wooden circles...beautiful. Its not the furniture,but the pillow top mattress i bought n how the guys put it together. My mattresses were sinking after 1 dang week! They came out 3 different times always blaming the crew who came before them. I received new mattresses,same thing occured! My husband came home from overseas all hell broke loose. He broke it down n saw that there was no beam support! So that brings me back to the furniture, pure crap! By the way the last guy put wooden stilts under the beams to lift them up n said"That should work!" Every now n again my hubby goes under the bed to starighten the wood if it has fallen....everytime he comes from under..he's pissed n gives me a look!!

RTG delivery service a joke. The delivery window means NOTHING. I am still waiting for delivery 3 hours after the time that was quoted
