I have been taking my family to eat here in this Popeyes but recently they have been messing up my orders and the person taking orders is not familiar with the special they are offering. Anyways, my order did not come with what I want so I had to order another item which the drive through cashier that was giving the orders gave me the gravy almost empty. At that moment I got upset because not only they messed up my order, he/she closed the sliding door on me, so won't ask for more things. Well, he/she thinks i won't check my gravy but something tells me to check it and I did. Well, he/she noticed that I was still waiting so, she opened the sliding and I asked for the manager (her name is Ashlyn). She sticks out her head at the drive through window telling me technically the gravy is supposed to be half way empty because that is the standard way of filling it up. I had purchased another gravy and it is full and now you are telling me that this is the standard and she is sorry they should not be filling it up to the top. I said how do customers know that is the standard way , I said obviously you guys are not doing your job and that I will bring this attention to corporate which I am about do. As I was, driving away the unprofessional drive through cashier said "take your food and it " in a teasing kind of voice. My advice to you, is to please hire professional people to work for your company.
I commend Popeye's for having to put up with these dumb asses. Most of them can't put a sentence together, and few of them can spell. I say keep doing what you're doing, Popeye's, and maybe the pond scum will go away.
I paid for a meal in Fulton Street New York and left standing there for 10 minutes and the Indian woman at the counter said "I thought you left and gave the chicken to someone else" and the entire time I was standing 2 feet in front of her. She said I need to wait another 10 minutes before she'll give me the chicken. I left and will never go back again. The sad thing is I really like the chicken.
I work at popeyes in mount prospect il on 1790 w algonquin rd. Its horrible they have a guy named corneal who didnt get trained and dos not know anything and stals from th register..He hits on me andhe has a wife plus he sells drugs to minors and he didnt get a proper inerview either. the manager stays on facebook all day talking to young girls and gives out checks early and talks on the phone all the employees are always high as hell. someone needs to check thisplace out. hurry. the new guy coneal is nt fit AND DISRESPECTFUL

i stopped at popeyes at 6085 stage road batlette tn. on aug. 9th. and ordered the butterfly shrip dinner. i got a totol 4 shrip that were uneatable. you could not tell if there was a shrip in the middle of the dried out cruat. i have always liked the food at your your business but with this order and the last of chicken not cook, it was bloody,i'm sure you have got other conplaining also.
Let me first say that I grew up on popeyes chicken and it is always wonderful when they have it in the store and not sold out which they are most of the time. Last night I went to get some chicken and some cajun rice. I got home and started eating my food well in the rice was this piece of glass. I called the store 5 times before someone answered and the guy that answered the phone was clueless. I stated to him what I found in my food and he said well I don't know how that could have happened because we don’t deal with glass, maybe it was from the distributor, so he proceeded to ask did I want to come back to get some more food, I said no because they did not know where the first piece of glass came from. I asked who else could I talk to he said that I could call back and talk to the store manager in the morning, so I said ok. I will be calling as soon as I think someone will answer.
i went to popeyes on monday august 1st around 3:00pm as i pull up to the drive thru nobody answered me so i pulled up to the window and i encountered the worst customer service i have ever experience i dont complain about much but they crossed the line with this im not looking for no free chicken or anything i was just shocked with the rudeness i ordered my meal and paid with a credit card then realized i wanted two more side items and was going to be paying cash for it and the cashier her name was Eva said to me next time you have to come inside because your on my time!!!! i didnt say anything i was just in shock i asked the guy who handed me my food if she was the manager and he said no and i asked for her name.....NEVER EVER COMING HERE AGAINN...RUDEST PLACE EVERRRRRRR
i was at the popeyes in Mount prospect 1790 West Algonquin Road in illinois worst experience ever food was great but poor customer service i was going to pay with my credit card then realized i needed something else and was going to pay cash the lady at the drive thru was extremely rude she said next time come inside because your on my time ....very rude and disrespectful i could understand if she was really busy and the drive thru was packed but there was nobody ..her name was eva by the way..never going here ever again!!!!!after this incident i called the store to speak to the manager and she seemed very uninterested in my complaint..eva defenetly needs to be replaced this is the worst customer experience i have ever encoutered.....
Hello, I am writing this complaint about the Popeyes in Brunswick Ga, store number 145. I rarely complain about popeyes because anytime we want chicken, we visit popeyes to get it. But I mst say this particular store Me and my sister visited was not satisfactory. The chicken was not cooked thoroughly, the out layer skin was indeed crunchy just like we like it but very soft to pull off but it had a whitish color to it, and the inside of the chicken was gooey and gutsy. I went to the counter to ask can the manager please have the chicken cooked a little longer, and she told me no but I can give you different pieces, so I just asked for my money back. I have never had a problem with popeyes chicken but this did not make any sense. Thanks for reading... Laquisha Jones
My Husband and I were at the popeyes in Pairland Tx store 2945 It was the cleanest Popeyes that I have ever been in, and the Asst. Manger Cheryl Hayes and her staft were so friendly . They keep checking to see if the food was cooked to our liking . The cook even came to our table to see if he could get us anything. When we were there three years ago it was not that clean. It was nice to have lunch in a clean and friendly place Store 2945 is a credit to the popeyes chain
Food is great BUT I want to know WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO THE SPICY SAUCE THAT CAME ON THE POBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It just doesn't taste the same with MAYO smothered on it me and my Husband actually stopped eating there because they no longer have the sauce I've googled and researched and asked at the pensacola fl Popeye's and they could not even answer my question so someone please tell me!Its very disappointing!
hey this is not a customer complaint this is an ex-employee complaint i have been let go from one of your stores at belton missouri location .I was new to the store and wasnt working that many hours but on my day i was suppose to work it took the manager twenty minutes to come to the door when she finally let me in she asked who i was i told her i was told that the position i worked had been done and she didnt need me the next day same thing happened.That weekend i came in for what i thought was employee meeting came to find out it had been changed to the day before. The manager did not inform me of the change the following week checked in and asst. manager Beth informed me that i was no longer on the work schecdule when i asked y she said she did not know .When i came to pick up my last paycheck from the store the store manager was there she never told me why i was let go .But this is not why i am writting to u it is the facte i have been out of work for five weeks and not receiveing my unemployment benefits because of the management not informing of my status with popeye's to the unemployment office.If this matter is not taken care of swiftly the next person that will be contacting u will be my brother's lawyer and i assure you a few thousand dollars is nothing compared to six figures for negelgence and pain and suffering when u r sued.I dont want it to come to that just want this matter taken care of. ATTENTION I’m contacting you in referance to a real estate matter i presently am asking your assistance with.Some years ago the Target corp left Stone Mountain ga., for whatever there reasons where and now sits a empty property for several years( 2055 W PARK PLACE BLVD STONE MOUNTAIN, GA 30087 )The intense greed of the higher elects,would rather it sit and become an eyesore memory of what was,But i have a plan that would suit this property so well.I first ask that you respect these ideas as my own,you see i personally am on a campaign to raise the six million it takes to buy and open this property to serve several issues.My first Issue is to implement a super group home for displaced teens and teen parents,with a staff that specializes in helping train these young people become productive citizens,as well as train teen mothers and fathers about being mothers and fathers,I also have plans to include a teen center specializing in training for adulthood,where all teens can come and get direction for there lives,there will also be a teen recreation center for teens to come and enjoy themselves with video games and all other things that teens enjoy (somewhere on my journey i’ll take a survey).But things like a concert hall with shows of all genres will be on the list. I have plans to include a 24 hour nursery for working parents!As well as a functioning senior center with activities of all kinds for seniors to get out of the house to enjoy,i even have a plan where they can be picked up and bought back home.Lastly i want to implement a adult center (id required )where mothers can do the things they enjoy while the kids enjoy the next environment (i’ll also do the research to find mothers top pleasures)there will be a place for fathers too,where they can enjoy the guilty pleasures of things like seasonal adult play station tournaments as well as alot of other well researched activities. We went to popeyes in Anchorage Alaska on 7/18/11, we go there maybe once a week but we won't be going back. Over the last couple months service has come to really be crappy, but my last visit was the final straw. I won't be going back It was ridiculous to find a woman sleeping at a table, drink area was sticky, we waited 30 minutes for our meal, but the kicker was when I asked for a to go box I was told they was out of to go boxes, I'm standing there looking at to go boxes, not to mention there was boxes being used for the drive through she handed me a bag, I took it and my chicken and okra barely fit the bag, but as I realized I spent almost 25.00 dollars I was not going to be lied to about something as simple as a box. So I went back up and once again asked for a box. The manger was running the register when the same girl told me again there was no more boxes, I asked her what she had in her hand, she said "a box" I said well thats exactly what I need. She just staired me down and said it was needed for to go orders. At this point I am starting to feel my ears burn and this is usually not good. So I told her "I have a ideal let's pretend I have a to go order" The whole time the manager is hearing all this but not even looking my way. The girl with a nasty attitude grabs a box and slings it at me across the counter it slides off on to the floor other customers at this time is getting upset to at how I am being treated, I pick up the box and decide to walk away when I get to the table and open the box, I realize it's a used broken box, there was crumbs in the box and grease stains, where the box is glued was broke. I went back to the counter showed them the box and said why are you being like you are to a paying customer? At this point I was told to leave or they would call the police on me, I had to leave at this point because my blood was boiling and I did not want my kids to hear what I was on the verge of saying. One thing is for sure I will never go back to that popeyes. The way I was treated was out of line and the manager has no business being a manager!
Council Bluffs Ia store....I am a restaraunt manager and been in the business for 28 years. I decided to go to Popeyes because I heard they had great cajun potatoes and gravy. I ordered the 3 piece chicken strips, mashed potatoes & gravy (the meal only comes with 1 side and a soda)so I ordered beans & rice also. For $10, I recieve 3, 2 inch long pieces of chicken that was about 1/4" thick. The potatoes were literally a small ice cream scoop with approx. a tablespoon of gravy. I asked for more gravy and they said that I would have to pay extra. The rice & beans were the same way. For $10 I can get quite a bit more food at a sit down restaraunt. To say the least I was shocked when I opened that box and seen the chicken strips. Very over priced. I will not patronize Popeyes again. delrae61@yahoo.com
July 9, 2011, Saturday around 8:00 pm. I love Popeye's chicken until today. I went to the Round Lake Beach Popeyes for dinner tonight, July 9, 2011. I placed my order, the total was $29.00. I had 3 twentys and a single, I gave the cashier, John, $40. He gave me $1 back and I told him I gave him $40, where my $10? John told me no, you only gave me $30. He told me to move up to the door. The girl who brought me my meal went for the manager. John the manager, told me he had to count the drawer and I gave him my number to call. I got home and called, a woman answered the phone and said she would call me right back after she finds out what happened. John, the manager, called be back and said the drawer was $3 short and there was nothing he could do for me. With this attitude, I will never eat at Popeye's again. I can't afford it. What can I do about my $10? Why would I lie about $10?? I could see someone maybe lying and say they gave $100, but I gave two twenty dollar bills, I did not have any $10s!!! I am very upset and plan on boycotting Popeye's Chicken unless something is done about it.
I am an employee at popeyes in Haslet Texas store #4687 and my general manager Monica Monroy has been EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL to me. I was supposed to be suspended for only a week, but no I have been sitting at home without a job for at least two weeks. my first write up, I walked out from work because she was very aggravated and said to go on break 20 minutes after I came to work. She said not to come back until I fix my problem with another worker. Me and the other worker didn't have any problems. She did this to another employee a week before she did the same to me. He wasn't suspended but she suspended me. She also tells all the employees to call the 1-800-POPEYES number every month and give our store a good rating. This is the customers job, not the employees job. Today, I walked in to get my paycheck and they were busy. So I waited until all the customers were taken care of and I has standing a distance away and the manager walked into her office, took my paycheck and threw it at me. Your macaroni and cheese was terrible--watery sauce and no flavor--after a couple bites it went in the garbage. The corn on the cob was mushy. Enjoyed your chicken but doubt I would go back.
*********DRIVE THRU***** I work at Popeye's in Texas. Most of y'all[customers] complain about the rudeness; as if y'all are being rushed out of the drive thru. Well as soon as y'all pull to the menu my clock starts (which has to stay lower than 180 seconds or else we get an ear-full by: co-workers,managers,supervisors) Well like always I say "Welcome to Popeye's may i take your order?",sometimes y'all don't even respond,or say "give me a second" (and at times take more than 200 seconds to figure out what y'all want;and already I'm getting yelled at by my manger to get y'all out ASAP)Then (this is really annoying)after telling yall your total through the speaker, ya'll don't even have the money ready!Hand me a card that you know will decline! Try to give me fake money!Hand me a bunch of coins!(yall thinking I'm not going to count it!)or even tell me "Oh i forgot my wallet" Then ya'll try to order more food while I already have a line of cars behind. But yeah "The Customer is Always Right" so my managers and supervisors blame me for being so slow. I then close the drive thru window and look at my clock..but its still moving,the customer has not left yet! He is now checking his order with other customers behind him waiting and probably already annoyed.By the time they leave my time is at 589.
