On 10/5/2011 my husband and I visited this Popeye's location for a quick bite to eat on our way out of town. Once we placed our order at the drive thru speaker, we drove around to pay for our order. We noticed that there were four (4) cars parked in front of us waiting to receive the orders. We had been waiting so long that I asked the drive thru cashier what was the delay about. She stated that there was no chicken ready and she was waiting for it to cook. We waited about another 6 minutes at the drive thru window. I then noticed a gentleman come out of the restaurant. I asked him if he was the manager. He stated "Yes, I'm the area manager". I asked him if he realized that there were 5 cars (us and 4 others) waiting for food. This area manager looked at me and made a heavy sighing sound as if I was bothering him with my question. I found out from the cashier that his name was Eric Lawrence. Mr. Lawrence made an abrupt turn and went back into the restaurant. I was so angry that he, first, was about to go home when he had five cars of customers waiting for food and, second, he had an attitude when I asked why the wait was so long. I then asked the cashier for a refund and we left. I have never been so angry at the attitude of someone who is supposed to be setting the example. I would hate to encounter the employees who are being supervised by Mr. Lawrence. His attitude has made us very, very hesitant about visiting another Popeyes.
I say SCREW Popeyes and lets just cook our own Chicken for 30 days. Let management know the real power is in the purse strings, after a noticeable decline in sales maybe Popeyes management will think again about improving customer service.
I went to a Popeyes on Dorchester rd in north charleston, sc. Ordered from drive thru, the young lady taking was not professional. I had to repeat my order for her which is fine but the "what did you say??" was rude and like I said before unprofessional. I proceeded to the window where I didn't a "hi", "hey", how are you doing today.. I didn't get my total repeated to me. I gave her my card she gave me my food and then not even a "Thank you", "Come back and see us" NOTHING. The window shut and I was on my way. She didn't even say anything when she gave me my food. Then when I get home it was original instead of spicy. I guess you get the picture that I wasn't satisfied, hope things get better for that location. Thanks for your time.
Let me start by saying I love popeys chicken but my experience at this restaurant has left a bad taste in my mouth. I visited your store at 8132 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas NV. Store #5719 I visited this stores drive thru on Friday October 14th at 7:59 pm order #318 according to the receipt. I ordered the new dippin chicken combo with a coke, a side of red beans and rice, and a spicy chicken wrap. I live a mile away from the store and here is what I find. 1. No sauce for dippin chicken and its cold 2. No ketchup for fries and also cold 3. No utensils for red beans and rice and luke warm 4. No napkins for chicken 5. No butter or honey for the biscuit I called the store numerous times and received no answered for about 45 minutes. When I spoke to a manager and told her my problem she stated "It is not our fault that is not part of our job. You are supposed to ask for these items." I told her that I had worked many food restaurants and that is just part of guest relations. Some companies have standards of how many of these items go with the order or at best ask the guest if they need any of these items. She said again that it is not their job. I asked to speak to her boss and she said her boss would be in on Saturday morning. She never offered to replace the order on the next visit or to even refund if I returned. I really did not want to drive again with the price of gas. I returned on the store to see the Manager Martha on Saturday afternoon. This is where my problems really start. I have never been so embarrassed in all my life. I returned 50% of the food including the drink. The meal was so unsatisfying that I could not eat it. Martha should not be a Manager. She proceeded to tell me that it is not their job to ask. And how are they supposed to know if I like ketchup or sauce for the chicken. She proceeded to accuse me of trying to get a free meal. Other customers were waiting for their orders. She told me to take my business somewhere else. She refused to hear anything I had to say and told me to get out of her store. I asked her to call her District manager and she refused. Again told me to get out. She said if I have a complaint to call the customer service number. I asked her for that number and again she refused. She said "The number is on the window in drive thru get it yourself." I told her I would not leave without the number. Finally another employee who was talking to Martha brought me an 800 number which was not even the customer service number. I tried to call and got another company. I again had to ask for the number to which Martha Refused. I finally got the employee to give me the correct number. I also called another popeyes store and spoke to their store manager. He stated that Ketchup, honey, butter, Napkins and The double dipping sauce were standard items included with that Order. He said he would email the area manager with my name and number. I have tried numerous times to reach a district manager through the customer service line. I feel Martha Is rude and thinks she is untouchable. She yelled at me and accused me of trying to get a free meal. Needless to say that I did go to another fast food establishment to get a meal the same night that I ordered the Unsatisfying chicken meal. If I was trying for a free meal I would not have went out and made another purchase. I hope that this letter gets to corporate headquarters. I would like to go back to popeyes with a district manager and receive a verbal apology from Martha. In my opinion as a former restaurant manager, Martha should not be fired but should be disciplined and get a final warning. She should also be relieved of restaurant general manager position. In this day of high Unemployment I am sympathetic, but I am not being paid to do her job. I should not have to ask for items that should be included in my order. I have spoken to other neighbors who have also had problems with orders at this store and were also unhappy with Martha. I definitely will tell friends and neighbors not to frequent this store until there are some changes. I would be happy driving 5 miles to popeyes on Rainbow blvd where I am treated with respect and I have never had to do their job to get items that should be included.
I live in Louisville Kentucky and recently I went to your resturant on Dixie Hwy for the Dippin Chicken special. I had seen the ads and thought it would be a good Sunday dinner. My friend and I got there about 12:30 for dinner and they had no Dippin Chicken, no Rippin Dippin Chicken, and no Chicken Tenders available. Mind you this location does not even open until 11:00. I was very disappointed and the service was very poor also. It was hardly an expierence I am likely to repeat again. I might however reconsider trying your establisment again if some free coupons could be provided to do so. I would like to think not all your stores are like this one is. Sincerely Suzanne Grant
You have the best chiken n biscuits. I moved to a town in PA NW of Pittsburgh and only 2 fast food rest. there was a KFC in a newer building which did a great business. there was always a crowd. recently it closed it's doors. I Feel that this would be a GR8 location and francise opportunity for someone, esp Popeyes. PLEASE WE ARE HUNGRY FOR CHICKEN, someone take notice and make alot of money. I would, but short on cash
I have been craving mashed potatoes from popeyes for literally 2 weeks now. I finally talk my mom into getting some popeyes for lunch. I drive 15 minutes away to satisfy this craving. I order my food and the order taker was very nice. I get to the drive thru window and the lady was rushing me, I asked for more sauce and she just walked away from the window. They forgot both my drinks and since she was rushing me I did not even realize so I had to go back through to get my drinks. Then she reassures me that all my food was in the bag. I get home I am missing my large mashed potatoe, the one thing that I was craving the most. I was so irritated, I picked up the phone and called several times. The first two times a young girl answered and was screaming in the phone and hung up and the same happened for the second and third time. At this point I did not even want popeyes anymore, I just want my money back so I could go to KFC and get a delicious mashed potatoe bowl. Well mom saw the hate in my eyes and she called and the same thing happened to her, they answered screamed and hung up. What kind of workplace is this. I am a manager in a fast food place and I will not have my employees working there much longer after that. This was totally unacceptable and I had much higher expectations. I will no longer drive 15 minutes to go to this popeyes. If I ever decided to return to popeyes I will be driving 30 minutes away to get treated like a real customer.
I went into the Popeyes in Florence, Ky and asked for something that I had been seeing on TV. It was the chicken strips with the cajun dipping sauce. The girl behind the counter said, "We don't carry that here". I said what do you mean you don't carry that here and she said, Yeah, we don't carry anything they show on tv. I work in customer service my self and that was the worst crock of bull I have ever heard. How can you advertise something on tv and then not carry it. I understand that there are alot of Popeyes around so if you are going to advertise something on tv, at least make sure your ad is for the location you are showing it for.
First off it too your employees 20 minutes to fill our order: oct 2. 2011 from 1235-1255- please check the cameras to verify this. There were three customers in the facility, we initially went throughout the drive through. Then we has to go in. No one came out to tell us what was going on after 10 minutes if waiting. There were two girls on the lobby wi were friends of one of the employees, so the employee helped them and converse the whole time. There was another woman waiting on the bench for her order. I spoke to, according to his name tag "Paul the boss" and he never informed the female employee that I was waiting in the lobby, so she took my order out to my car. Never again will I eat that that ghetto establishment!
I went to popeyes hoping to try their new dipping chicken as I have seen the commericals on tv. I went in excited try it..Well as I got to put in my order the cashier said we don't have them, I was very surprised by this so I asked when he didnt know I spoke spanish and the manager just didnt want to sell them cause they were in the middle of a lunch rush, which I understood and I didnt want to leave empty handed and hungry I ordered the popcorn chicken with sweet and sour well I got bar b que instead.. dont make commericals if you arent going to serve the product store 5454

When I saw them (Popeyes) break ground in Burleson Texas, is was very excited because they have a great product. I do think they are high in price and have very small portions, but I still go because it is a vood product. However, after my fith try at our Burleson location we quit going do to the poor service. Two times in a row me and my wife went there and could not get waited on. The employees in the back just looked up at us like we were bothering them. After about 10 min we took the hint and walked out. I was afraid if we insisted on making us food they might spit in it. We were the only people there at lunch time and I started to see why. We gave them another try about 5 months later, and the exact same thing happened. I told my wife there is no way they can stay in business like this. Sure enuff about 8 months later they closed the store. Really a shame to let yourself go out of business behind poor managment because the product was good if you could get your hands on it. I would love to know if this was a company owned store or a franchise.
To Whom This May Concern I'm Melissa Andrade & I Stopped at Popeyes Right On Bladensburg Rd DC Store Number 3230. I Am Highly Upset Not With the Service The Employee's Offer Because They are Always Really Nice to Me and Others That Come Buy Popeyes Chicken. The Manager By The Name Of Lorenzo Is Who I Have a Problem With. He Is Very Rude He Treats His Employee Very Unfairly. The Other Day He yelled at An Employee right In front Of Many People. Also I Gone Through The Drive Thru during the evening and every one of the employees I encounter is alone Trying their Best to Stay Under 2 mins In Serving Food But How Can they When they are By themselves working the drive thru, This Guy Lorenzo is always Just Standing There offering no help at all just screaming & I feel that is unfair. I Don't Plan On Returning to This Popeyes Because Of The Management. Words of recommendation I would suggest a change in managent.
I went to Popeyes in Atlanta on 09/22/2011 Located at 4555 Roswell Road Atlanta, GA 30342 US, The store stays open open until Midnight I went about 10:45pm, I ask for a Number 9 (9 piece Nugget Meal). The cashier came back Immed with (We aint got no nuggets) I was like WOW!!!. They didn`t try to get me to order nothing else, They didn`t want my business nor did they try to keep my business. After a few seconds I drove off while they were standing there laughing i was hoping they would have some kind of custormer recovery but they didn`t. That suprise me because there Corperate Office is located right up the street at Popeyes Corporate Office & Headquarters located at 5555 Glenridge Connector NE Ste. 300 in Atlanta, GA 30342. Then i went right up the street to Wendy`s located at 6240 ROSWELL RD NEATLANTA, GA 30328 US. and there service were spectacular. I accidently drove off from the drive thru and left my card, The Manager ran out the other door and cuaght up with me just to give me my card back...I was so Thankfull. Why do i have to go across the bridge to get good service. POPEYE`s didn`t even try to keep my business they just let me drove off....So from now on none of my employees will visit Popeye`s or will we have there food at our company events
Sir ; I don't know who selectes your employees and manager , we stopped to dine in ,but the volgur lanuage by the manager and employees , was way to loud that it echoed all over the resturant,the other 5 guess couldn't wait to leave. the location was Kingsville Texas 14 th street 78363
To popeyes I had yesterday popeyes at Camden it discuss me from popeyes chicken, I will never buy my chicken from popeyes anymore.
After stopping at your brand new store in Maple Shade ,NJ to buy just 4 pcs of chicken.I ran into a problem. I ordered 4 pcs and asked the price. I was given the price of a 4 piece meal including beverage.I then said that I only wanted the 4 pcs and that was all. I asked again what the price was and once more I was told the price of a complete meal. This time another employee ,whom I assumed was the manager asked me if he could help me. I told him the same thing. I only want 4 pcs of chicken and I asked him the price. This time he told me that I had to buy the chicken and biscuits but not the beverage and was given a price of only 50 cents less than the price of the entire meal. Raising my voice a little, I asked if I could just get 4 pcs of chicken and he said that your company just doesn't sell it that way. Angrily, I left and went to KFC.I have written to the corporate headquarters 3 times and have yet to receive any reply from them at all.
the new popeye's at open in maryville,cal(store #11147, manager name sunny singh), is disgracing the POPEYE'S CHICKEN name. went in there tree times in one month, for their ripin and diping chicken. all three times they were out. and this is at lunch time. the manager gave me a look like to f---ing bad, and did not care. will never eat at popeye's in maryville,cal till they replace the managers
I went to the popeyes in orlando florida on orange blossom trail and parramore ave. I ordered a two piece combo all white meat, which cost extra and I was served a fried chicken neck. Is that customary or considered white meat? I think that was absolutely discusting. Popeyes used to be my favorite chicken, now I'm nauseous when I think about it. I hope changes are made and no one else is served something like that ever again. I just threw it away and left. I'm very disappointed:(
So, i went to the pop eyes on cedar and Shaw..in Fresno ca....horrible service...even the manger...she was so rude...i will never ever want to go visit pop eyes again...i wouldn't recommend anyone to go the pop eyes on cedar and Shaw ..... i ordered chicken strips and they gave me chicken strips without sauce....i asked the manager for sauce...she responded very rudely and basically threw the sauce at me...so i just left the food on the counter and walked off.....ughh never going there because of the managers attitude...
