Management at this Portsmouth, VA facility is and has always been the worst performance of any other restaurants that I have ever visited. I have been a customer service trainer for almost 6 years and the one thing that I notice when I have visited here is that customer service does not get trained. The managers speak to their staff and customers in an extremely disrespectful manner. My first poor experience should have kept me away but when I saw their was a different manager, I assumed he would be better but turned out to be worse than the one prior. Very uneducated managers on staff which may help cut costs on hiring qualified managers but at the risk of poor service is the reason there is never a line of customers at this facility.

I live in Atlantic City, New Jersey. I stopped by the Popeye's in our town and noticed it was closed! I thought it was just closed for the day. But now we're going on a couple of months and it is still closed. There is no sign on the window, stating if they're closed for good or if they're going to reopen! Maybe someone can answer this question for me ! Thank you!

Today june12,2011 i walked in popeyes on 1134 main st new iberia,la. I ordered 3 wings and red bean and rice. the lady at the register made a mistake and over charge me, so brought it to her attention. she didnt know how to fix it. she needed help, no one in there not even the manager (BERT VIATOR) CAME TO HELP HER.SO I ASKED IF SOMEONE WOULD HELP HER? THERE WERE 4 EMPLOYEE that looked at me, turn there heads and went back doing what they were doing, the manager never look up and he was right there. He fixed about 6 order before he came to help. The other customer looked at me and shook HER HEAD in DISGUS. It look to me that the employee were afraid to say anything maybe because they were afraid of loosing their job. People like that dont need to work with the public. BUT THE FOOD IS GOOD!

first all work for popeyes.ois the worse job to ever work.the general manager sandra. she keeps an attitude. her family comes up there all the time if you request a day off. you never get it. if u have to be the wok at 5 . if you call off earlier enough in advance they writ.e you up or they suspend you for a whole week or they threaten to suspend you because you cant cover your shift. they threaten you if you called coporate will be fired. because if you go to the manager with a promblem they dicuss your promblem with all the other employees. after hours when you all done. they make you sit before everyone else get finish. they take there time on the clock. you be done at 1030 but you still have to wait. but some employees get to go after hours after they finish.but others if they do they get wrote up.they need to be fair. am not putting my real name because i might get fired.but i do feel if you call off at 8am and you cant cover and you dont have to be there to 5pm. you shouldnt have to get wrote up. this is the store in altamonte frances drive. its has to much favortism for thewomen. i feel if i request a day off i should be able to get it to. sandra always taking food out of the resturant. but we are not allow even if we pay for it. if she dont like you you get nothing. when the regional manager come in there. she never tell us anything. but when jb comes in there. she act like she been telling you the whole time. she dont have the skills to be a general manager. i want justice. i want fairness. they check you out before you get done in order for you to go and tell you that your job look good. i am talking about the managers. when you come in the next day you be wrote up. if you trying to get rid a person. you dont find write ups to write people up. you tell them to go

I don't know why I'm even writing this because it appears the only reason people still go to popeyes is sure not because of the poor customer service from every store I have been to but because on a good day the food is great but I have never been to ANY popeyes where I actually get my food at the window oh heaven forbid the food is never ready totally defeats the purpose of fast food I always have to pull around needless to say somebody needs to remind the cashiers that nobody picked there profession other than themselves and popeyes needs to do an undercover boss to she how lousey they people that work for there company are

From time to time, I stop and purchase a single dinner or a family dinner from Popeyes, only to arrive home and discover that I have been again shorted pieces of chicken. I live a quarter of a mile from the resturant, and it is a waste of my time and gas to go back and to complain. Love that chicken from Popeyes!!!

I live in Upland California and I'm a native of New Orleans, so I know what "Real Fried chicken is like!! It isn't Popeye's!!! First as with 99% of fast food franchises it's the help, the employees aren't their to give the customer a good product, they are their to pick up a paycheck, however small. So I never expect anything less. The store in Upland, is the typical fast food franchise. Fast food, tasteless ,unseasoned, and just plain dull. My advice, stay away from Popeye's . Oh I forgot about the Red Beans and Rice!! I grew up on this staple of New Orleans, Popeye's Red Beans and Rice is ok, just ok, they need to get rid of that "Artificial Smoke seasoning ( some form of chemical additive). Authentic New Orleans Red Beans don't have chemical smoke added to the beans. Real New Orleand Red Beans are seasoned with Smoked Ham Hocks, cooked for many hours!! I know, Fast Food outlets can't use anything natural. So, I fry my own chicken and make my own Red Beans & Rice.

As much as I love to eat the occasional fried chicken, I could care less if I never ate at Popeyes again. Nothing more disgusting than seeing the person handling the food, also ringing out dirty wash water and spraying the work station down with a water hose towards the food sitting under the lamps to be served. No one was wearing gloves, everyone looked sloppy with shirts hanging out, and I never got a proper greeting. It was still an hour before closing and I asked to speak to the manager, when I expressed my concerns, he said the guy had been spoken to before and the mentality of "oh well, we tried". I have been in retail management for some time and I even worked as a restaurant manager and if I had to speak to someone that many times about sanitation, they would be gone! You can certainly tell that even the manager, they were all young and no clue. The answer for him was asking what I wanted in a sense of just to pacify me and give me the feeling that he was trying to do something. It definitely was not sincere and was overly concerned that I would call corporate!! What happened to a warm greeting and great customer service and taking pride in the job, the way you dress. Everyone is there for a paycheck. A real shame!

I rode with my daughter to the Popeye's in Gonzales, LA. She only ordered 3 biscuits. When it was our turn to pull up to the window the worker there made a comment that made me feel very uncomfortable. Then we were told it would be 4 minutes until the biscuits were done and would we pull our car forward. We did. Finally 20 minutes later my daughter went into Popeyes to get her food. Apparently they forgot about us. We wish we had told the people behind us to go in and get their food so.

It is a sad state of affairs when your store in Monticello, AR, has stooped to battering their chicken livers in plain flour. Not the Popeyes batter that gives it your distinctive flavor. livers tasted like crap. Not only that, I called my order in and they said it would be ready in 6 minutes. I gave them 10 minutes and then wound up waiting another 15. But the worst part was not being able to eat the livers that used to be the best anywhere around, but now they suck just like all the other places'. And you wonder why buisness is down? Where is the old standard "customer satisfaction".

The Winter Haven, Fl. store does a great job. My complaint is only that Sunday on TV I saw an ad in the evening that you could buy one three piece meal and get a two piece meal free. The next day I went to get the offer and was told the offer ended Sunday. Seems strange that you were spending dollars to get people to come into your store after it was too late to do so. I visited the Kansas City Popeye's on 63rd & Troost today. Upon entrance into the facility I was choked by the horrific nausating smell which permeated the entire restaurant. I informed the lady taking orders that the smell was offensive and might need to be addressed. She smiled politely and said "yeah we get that a lot". REALLY, it will be my last visit to Popeyes at that location. The other store closer to my home is kept much cleaner, but the service is so slow who cares! Popeye's manager might want to re-visit their stores and their "Customer Service" policies.

My husband and I went to your popeye's located at 1086 MoRT 3 NORTH in GAMBRILLs, MD. 21054 on Sunday 22, 2011 at 6:00pm We asked for 8 piece mixed spicy/miled chicken , large red bean and rice, cole slaw, mashed potatos, with gallon size sweet tea. Well the tea was not sweet, the chicken was not spicy nor was it cooked properly, it was still red on the inside. We called the popeyes and asked for the manager at 7:00pm and she got on the phone, she was extremely rude and uninterested in our complaint, was also very arogrant. She needs to be replaced immediately, and we will be contacting the health department and the FDA- FOOD and DRUG ADMIN. to go into all of your locations check on the conditions, how dirty and how the food is being prepared and wether or not it is being cooked at the right temp. We will also alert the press, they might won't to do a story on the whole popeye's organization. We will tell all our friends and family not eat at popeye's ever again.

I called Popeye's to complain about their misleading television advertisement. They claim on their commerical if you buy a BONAFIDE Popeye's three piece dinner you'll get a two piece for free. When I ordered the deal instead of the regular three piece dinner with one leg and two thighs I recieved a three piece with a mix of one leg one thigh one wing. I asked the cashier when I usually order the three piece I get two thighs and a leg. She said with the deal you ony get a mix. I replied nowhere does it make it clear or claim to be a mix. That's the deal she said. I called corporate office and the representative said that on the commerical the lady says it's a mix. That is a lie. I recorded the commerical and she CLEARLY states buy a regular three piece dinner get a second free without any mention of a mix. I was more upset by the representatives misleading lie to get me off the teleplhone. It's funny that when I called back today using the same telephone number 1-404-459-4450 NO ONE will pick up the phone as if it automatically won't pick up for customers who have an legitimate complaint that they don't want to address. Popeye's food might be O.K. but their customer service is terrible and disrespectful.

HOW CAN I COMPLAIN TO YOU WHEN YOUR ALL DONT EVEN HAVE A NUMBER THAT WORKS WITH THE MONEY YOU ALL MAKE INVEST IN CALL WAITING. WHY WORK FOR COMPANY AND I CANT EVEN GET A PAY CHECK THAT I WORKED FOR (I HAVE BILLS TOOOOOOOOOOOOO)

It seems to me that the corporate office don't care how the customers are treated. I wonder if they would care if we report them to the board of health and have the store closed down for MICE!

This is my third time at the popeyes (#2528) located on 8505 liberty rd., md. All three times in the drive through I have been told chicken is not ready and I have been made to wait for at least twenty minutes. The staff is friendly but being made to wait for chicken at a chicken place baffles me and this is the last time I will be going to this Popeyes.

I had contacted popeye's corporate office to resolve an issue with a the popeye's in southern California at 16159 Parthenia, #3305 about consist incorrect orders and the owners refusal to contact me about the problem of screwing up my lunch. The corporate office said they would help resolve the issue and contact the owner to contact me. After two weeks and several attemps on my part the owner NEVER contacted me nor did Popeye's corporate representatives never got back with me to see if the matter had been resolved. Popeye's talks a good game on their commericals but when it comes to customer service they could care less. When you have large volumes of customers who cares about a few complaints seems to be their attitude. I for one can take my business elsewhere and will. With enough people complaining about their customer service the public will wise up and Popeye's will go down hill.

I went to my local Popeyes in Gainesville FL 04/30/2011 there is a deal running buy a 3 pcs get a 2 pcs free. Not here at store 2646. Was told this district did participate in this deal. If this is the case why show the commercial in our area????????????????
