DO NOT go to Popeyes on Ambler avenue in Abilene, TX!!! They will give you mild chicken instead of spicy and when you call them they will say if you can't come back right away and get it replaced, then they can only give you 10% off next time. Why, you ask??? Manger told me its because their food is unlike others that replace their mess ups, it is expensive! LOL. I then told her that Red Lobster even replaces their mess ups. I ended up becoming so angry that I took all the food back and got a refund from a manager with the ugliest attitude ever. I let her know that she shouldn't argue with customers over the phone or in person. When I took the food back, I showed her a non spicy chicken strip while she just stood their looking stupid for a minute. Will never go to a Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits again!!! They do not value your time or your money, all they value is ripping you off! Very sad and pitiful!!!

The Popeyes on Joppa Rd in Baltimore has just reopened following an abrupt closing over the summer. With the reopening came new mgmt, staff and attitudes. Employees now greet you, attention is paid to the order and food is served fresh and punctual. I dont know or care what happened but I hope it continues.

The Popeyes location at 11820 Jones Rd. in Houston, Texas 77070 needs to be torn down and closed. Not only does the establishment look dirty, old, uninviting, and ragedy, but the employees don't look any better. Simply put... no matter what you order, they give you what they have or what's ready. Twice I ordered crawfish and twice I was given shrimp. The 1st time I made it all the way home before I realized it. The 2nd time I checked my order before I left and they admitted they did not have crawfish. The reality is, they did not want to lose a sell and when I confronted the manager, he had a shady look on his face when I told him I wanted a refund. One time I ordered through the drive thru and upon reaching the window, I saw a girl with a burgundy scarf on her head, which was covering her ears, and the scarf was topped off with a Popeyes hat. I tried to get a picture with my cell phone but I didn't want to be rude. I could not believe no one else that worked there took time to tell her she looked a "hot mess"! I could not believe they thought nothing of her serving and preparing food for customers looking like that. I travel to the Tomball popeyes to get great service, clean food being handled by clean individuals, and the building is actually lit up and it looks like a popeyes is supposed to look. Stay away from the Jones Road Popeyes because you will not get your moneys worth in service or product.

I can't even begin yo describe the horrible service at the popeyes in madison, ms. 45 minute wait in drive through, rude employees and completely wrong order. Worst experience ever.

before i post my comment let me just say its really sad that there isnt 1 good post on here for popeyes:( and im adding to the list:( its really sad to me that popeyes is suppose to have beatin k.f.c. but when it comes to there customer they just dont know how to treat us at all... but any who the popeyes in bloomington il on market st. i feel needs to b closed down they need to let go of every 1 that work there and start over:( they just NASTY!!! the store is NASTY!!! and there crew and mangers look like they have never met sopa or water nor just nasty:( thats why when i went there on 12-24,-11 was the last time i ever go nor did i pay my money cause people that look and smell like they do wont b touchin my food nor get my cash....

December 24, 2011 at 4 p.m. I went to the Popeyes located at 11527 North Sam Houston Parkway, Humble Texas 77396 while visiting a family for Christmas. It was raining as it is now, but I was the only person in the drive thru. I ordered the 10 piece family meal with red beans and rice and 4 biscuits, two sweet teas to complete my order. I was wondering why the lady told me to pull up from under the windows covered area so she could walk my order to me. "It was raining!" I got my order, didn't think to check because it was raining and where I was waiting. When I got home, a 15 minute drive away, I discovered I did not get 10 pieces, and no, I didn't get 9 pieces either. My first thought was to drive back, but why waste gas? They got paid, I should have gotten what I paid for.

I will not go to Popeyes ever again! It was my first time going there on 12/19/2011. I went there to order the buy 8, get 8 free promotion they had on Mondays. It took FOREVER to take my order. Even with 3 people ahead of me, they would take one order then wait around for chicken to be done. Instead having runners to put the order together, the lines practically DRAGGED. Chickens were staged every 4 minutes. When they finally took my order, it took 20 minutes to finally get my order filled. I was given a free order of large cajun fries to replace my regular side of cajun fries. My total bill was supposed to be $14.89, but when I got home and tried to order something online, funds were denied, and when I investigated, to my dismay, I found that Popeyes took a total of $17.86 WITHOUT my consent! This is in Omaha on Dodge and Saddle Creek Road, Store #5514. No merchant number listed on the ticket. I want my money back ten fold!

First let me start off by saying I normally do not write complaints online etc. However, I would be remiss if I did not reach out to Popeyes Corporate Headquarters and write the following complaint. My family and I stoped by a Popeyes restaurant in Reseda, CAlifornia and had the worst experience of dining. The Cashier was very (understatement) unprofessional and retort with responses. The tables were very unsanitary/dirty (even for a homeless standards) with left over food particles. The cooks gave me hostile looks and the impression they acquired their positions straight out of prison. There were pan-handlers coming in asking families for money while the families were eating their meals. It was (to say the least) a very unpleasant experience for me and my family. Popeyes should feel very embarrassed for the low-level quality service their restaurants are providing to individuals in their area/community. Take responsibility and reevaluate what's really important in business other then your accountants time.

On Friday December 2, 2011 at 7:50pm I ordered the 20.00 dollar special of 10 piece chicken with 5 biscuit and 2 large side through a drive thru. I asked for dark meat only. When i got home to my surprise I was given seven drumstick and three tighs. I called the store and spoke to "Mike" and he apologized for the uneven distribution of the chicken. Mike agreed to fix the order and placed my name in a complaint book. He advised me the next time I come in just give them my name and they will replace my order with a five piece meal. The next week on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 7:30pm after work and from picking up my 6 month old and 5 year old daughters I proceeded to Popeyes to pick up my order via drive-thru. I went through drive thru and explained to the employee that I had and replacement order. She employee was not sure what to do. She asked another employee while she put me on speaker of what she needed to do and abruptly the manager get on the mic and rudely say you need to come inside. I explained that I had two daughters sleeping and cannot go inside. He said that wasn't his problem and I needed to go inside. I asked if I could pull up to the window instead and he said again not his problem and to take my kids out the car and come inside, not considerate of my two daughters who were sleeping. On top of that I had another customer behind me who go frustrated with the situation and proceeded to yell at me for being in the drive thru with a complaint. I was frustrated by that time and moved forward to the window to speak with the manager. Still he refused to address my concern. I asked for the complaint number and the number to his regional manager and he refused to provide me with that info. I was so shakened up by that time and left with no resolution as to why service was denied to me. The same manager that helped my the weekend before verbally abused me the weekend after. The weekend that he agreed to right what was wrong the weekend before.

I WILL NEVER spend another penny at this particular Popeye's again!!!!!!!!!! Over the past years, I guess, I just hoped it would change hands or get better employees - when you spend $30 for some chicken and don't get what you ordered in the drive through and then have to go back and have them FIX it is just insane, with the price of gas and the aggravation - I just don't have the time - plus I was buying for an elderly woman and that was her meal for the weekend! This location is in Calumet City, IL River OAks Drive. I had to sit in the parking lot for 15 min., as they said they would bring me out my meal - got tired of waiting and went inside - there was not NOT ONE pice of chicken on any of their racks and this was at 4:40 in the afternoon! I was told it would be ready soon - so I went back to my car and waited and waited and also talked to the cook as to what I wanted in my order - to no avail! Popeye's - what's wrong with your company!!!!? This has happened to me WAY TO MANY TIMES - THEY NEVER GET MY ORDER RIGHT Merchant ID#1590099 Popeye's #2928 I could have at least had a nice dinner for $30 instead of throwing it all in the trash!

I will not eat Popeyes anymore. The first time I ate popeyes was at the food court in the Arundel Mills Mall in Maryland, got sick that same night after eating there, I got food poisioning, headache, stomachache and had diarrhea and vomited. Since then I said no more popeyes. So yesterday at work I decided to give the popeyes on Sinclair lane in Baltimore, MD a chance. Big mistake, the drivethru had three cars in it including myself, and I waited 5 minutes before I even got a response from the drivethru cashier. Then when she spoke to me, she sqid be with you in a minute, well it was another 5 minutes, I would have backed up and pulled off but there were 3 cars behind me at this point. So finally the cashier says that she is ready for my order I give the order for some chicken tenders five piece, and she said that it would be a 10 minute wait since they have to make more. So I then ask for the two piece white meat meal and tell her my sides and she says, that it'll be 10 minutes on the fries, so I said give me rice and beans, no rice and beans. So i just say I'll take mashed potatoes she gets an attitude (more than what she already had). I finally drive up to the window to pay, the cashier doesn't say hi or anything, is rude says the price, I give her my card to pay she snatches my card. Then runs my card and then gives me my food. I drive off and get to my office there are no eating utensils no jam for the biscuit and shortly after I ate, I started to feel awful. Come to find out I get food poisoning again. For the unprofessionalism and straight rudeness and then to get food poisoining again, I will never eat there again.

I've visited your Popeyes twice in Shreveport LA at the Pines road location. Both times I had a bad experience. The first visit they were out of napkins and the tables and floor had not been cleaned. I had to wait over 20 mins for my order which was probably due to the employees behind the counter flirting with a few customers. When I got home they had forgotten to add a biscuit and sauce. The second visit was on November 18. Again the floors and tables were filthy. I wanted that famous ice tea but they were out at the moment and were in the processing of making more. When I got my order I checked the bag before leaving the restaurant and no sauce or biscuit plus the fried shrimp were cold. I will never eat at this restaurant again. Guess its back to KFC, Hate that cuz I was borned, raised and still live in Louisiana.

I have been to the popeyes chicken in kenner,la. (the corner of west esplanade and williams blvd) many times. Every time there seems to be problems. Order a two pc all white and I receive dark. Order a three pc and recieved a two pc. I went in there for the last time ,placed an order (two pc all white spicy/w mash potatoes). I was told that it will be a while. I said I can wait ,but asked very nicely how long will it take. She said a half hour. I said why so long. She came back with ,“ WE ONLY DROPPING DARK MEAT NOW ". I said thank you and walked out. The problem with this is having incompetent management hiring incompetent help .

my rating is based solely on one person at the popeyes rest. located in; Fall River, Ma. Her name is Melisa and she is supposed to be the store manager, store 10980. This person is going to run your business to the ground. I've been a loyal customer of this particular store since it opened a couple years ago and I cant believe how awful this girl is, and shes a manager? Shes rude to the customers and also to the employees, she talks with the- your beneath me attitude. She constantly asks her subordinates how to do everything. I dont understand WHY someone would put this very young person in charge of an already good running establishment. I found myself asking one of the other girls ( whom is great at her job- sheila ) when is the managers day off, so I can go to the resturant when she isnt working. This is the reason why I'm now writing this! If I am this upset with this girl-melisa- how many other people feel as I do, but just dont speak up. I like popeyes chicken and I can do without watching this persons theatrics. Someone needs to pay attention to this store!

Well at least I know I am not the only one with problem with popeyes, from reading other complaints. I rarely go to the popeyes at Reisterstown Plaza in Baltimore, Md because their service sucks. I will admit, there are some good employees but its to much of a hit and miss to make me want to go their on regular basis. 1. having to wait so long in a line. Its usually 1 girl/boy behind the register, while the others are running round doing lil things that can wait when you have more than 10 ppl in 1 line waiting to be served. 2. they are always out of something. Sad thing its the beginning of the week. How do you be out of something that fast if its suppose to last for week. Manager needs to learn how to order things for his store. I have walked out and went to Kentucky so many times, there is Kentucky 2minutes away. They are basicly pushing ppl there. 3. There is always a 10 to 20min wait for something. Since Popeyes advertise Crawfish Ettoufee, I have yet to get any. First week they had it, young lady tells me they don't have sauce for it. But come back Fri and they will. Came back Fri, they didn't. Came back Monday, they didn't. They didn't even have crawfish. Another time, waited 12mins in line (their was only 7 customers in the store, majority already placed their order. So their was only 2 ppl in front of me. There was no one behind me. Waited 12 mins and ended up being 6 ppl behind me. One girl behind the register, another girl getting registers orders and other girls hiding round near the sink. Another girl decides to fill cup holders, while the line steadily gets longer). Finally get to the register to be told they are out of crawfish and just looked at me. All they was worried bout was getting the store ready to close, it was 8pm, and they rushing round prepping instead of getting orders. It just seems like its just getting worst and worst. The only way popeyes can draw me into their stores is for the crawfish(its good). But since it seems I can't get that anymore, their really is no reason for me to go their to wait and order stuff that they don't carry.

I visited Popeyes store #35 in St. Louis this week. The girls behind the counter were too busy talking to each other to pay attention to what they were doing. They had my debit card behind the counter so long that I thought I had lost it. We drove home (5 hours away) and I just happened to check my bank account and I had be charged $56.07 for chicken for our order of 18.69 (that's three times). We called the store which was no help at all and they gave us the telephone number of their "store manager" who had a voice mail box that was full. We then contacted the guest relations number who couldn't help us either because they just take complaints. We've now been dealing with this for two days and still haven't been refunded our money. I wouldn't recommend or use this restaurant ever again. It's sad that a business doesn't provide customer service to the people who keep them employed.

I went to store number 2659. in Houston, Tx. I ordered two eight piece mix orders mild chicken. I was told to pull around for five minutes so they could fry some mild as t.hey did not have any, after about eight minutes my order came. When I got home they had given me two orders of cold spicy chicken this is the second time. When I called to complain. The general manager Mrs Sandy Guiton, said I had to drive back, waste my gas and time and bring back the chicken. If this is your policy of punishing your customers for the stores mistakes, consider changing it, store credit should be offered for all store mistakes. I can understand if it was my mistake but this has happened to me before.Customers should not have to drive all the way back.A little kindness and courtesy from the employees will go along way I had to throw both orders away lost my time and money. Why not a little credit?Keep the customer from having to go to churchs,orKentucky fried or where ever else. This store is always running on automatic have somone talk to these people before you lose all your customers.

I'm a 20 year old male and Ive been working fast-food for five years now. I recently got employed at Popeyes in Alton Illinois two months ago. When I started work everything was awesome about the job so I thought.I was working mornings, I was also getting a lot of hours, everything was good. Then my GM started making me close the store down besides open. So I said okay I didn't have no problem with closing down the store money is money. So the very first night that I closed down the store by myself; i quite didn't make the time allotted to close down the store. And I know that because when I finally got done with all my work and went to go clock out for the day it had already been done. SO I asked her (the shift-leader at the time) how long I had been clocked out. She told me I had been clocked out for an hour at least. And I just stopped and gave her this look like REALLY? you really going clock me out without me knowing and my permission. But I didn't say anything I worked like that for three months then one day she did it again. And I told her if you do it again whatever work I got left to do you are going to do it And I'm going home. Well the next time I worked with her I guess she didn't believe me and she did it again and I left her with all my work. The next time I was scheduled to work they gave me a write up for what I did. So I said to myself forget it I quit. So i started working for a little bit then I just clocked out and left. But now that I'm gone now, now I can say don't eat at that popeyes in particular cause that job didn't HAVE NO HOT WATER for the employees to wash there hands. The General Manager makes her employees use BAD DISCOLORED CHICKEN. I mean chicken soo bad that we the cooks would almost throw up because the smell was so pungent and we had to batter them up and serve it to the people which is you guys. There's no HOT WATER to do the dishes that the chicken sits in to be ready to be prepared... NO HOT WATER AT ALL not even in the restrooms how sad is that. And still till this day that general manager is still working people off the clock. Using bad discolored chicken and is not caring whether the water is cold warm or hot.

I can read the comments ahead of mine, and I can tell that Popeyes is in trouble. But here goes anyway. La Plata, MD has the best, most outstanding Popeyes anyone could hope for. It sets a high standard for the rest of your stores to live up to. Went to Popeyes in Fredericksburg, VA recently, and the grease must have been old. Need I say more? Went to the Popeyes in Garrisonville, VA today and the husband got a piece of chicken not done, took it back and the mideast guy, probably the manager, looked at me like I was from another planet, and motioned in some kind of sign language for the young guy standing next to him to get another piece of chicken. Zero percent customer service. What a brush off he gave me. And the chicken filets looked good, so I tried the 5 piece. Absolutely no taste at all. No salt, no seasoning, no nothing. And I have diarrhea this evening which tells me some SOB didn't wash their damned hands! And my stomach is pitching and rolling like I'm aboard a ship as I type! No doubt in my mind that if this keeps up, and it is throughout the United States, Popeyes will be filing a Chapter 7 or 11 bankruptcy before long.
