I just want to apologize for the attitude that I had the other day towards my Supervisor, Lil Ms. Donisha, also I would like The Popeyes Headquarters to accept this here apology.. I'm sorry.... I respect the fact that these here managers and the supervisor may have went out the way for me just to have a decent job like at The popeyes restaurant, and that they may have been trying to protect their company other than acting as if I were just a push over. I went back to work today with no problems or anything. I fill better! Love that chicken from Popeyes!
Hi everyone.. I am an "Employee" at "POPEYES" "Restaurant" I really don't mean any disrespect to the business on maintaining a perfect conduct, but I am certainly not at all satisfied with the corp. I am working for. POPEYES.. I am filing a complaint on one of the "Supervisors" at "Popeyes Chicken & Biscuts" located in Kenner louisiana on Lyola Dr. I want Popeyes Corporate Headquarters to understand that I am not trying to damage or disqualify there services. I just want you to know that Ms. Donisha is worthless under her management position. First of all.. I works hard to ensure my Supervisors that I am more than enough concerned about working under general procedures. Second that it's a place for conducting business, not conducting slaves as being captive under some High Negro Culture, and also I would ensure you that I am African American. Here are some of the things thats happening for me to suggest that this here young lady has to be Evaluated, before terminated at any cause. Ms. Donisha has asked me to drop 10 spicy chicken tenders after talking to a costumer on the phone, while I was in the position of completing my orders for the day in session, of coarse I was also about to clean and tighten up the batter station/main kitchen, but the way she has told me, was an up rage it was like "!! I want you to drop me 10 spicy chicken tenders now!! There's a costumer on their way and I need it now!! I am like cool, but why the attitude I am a very inspired good worker, and this attitude type is getting out of the way. It's been going on every since I been there, and I don't know why!! After I have completed my drop, there was another employee has asked me to mop the floor while I was cleaning the entire batter station.. meaning the front kitchen. I have replied to her that the head manager, and the assistant manager have told me not to mop the floor while working in the kitchen several times, but if I can get to it I will. While I was tightening up the batter station, and keeping the Kitchen under their general arranged cleaning manual proper procedures. Ms. Donisha comes raging in the front kitchen.. while I was in the position bending down scraping the batter station flower ben, and shifting my flour also after cleaning my stove fronts saying that the young girl asked me to mop the floor. I replied that I told her that the manager has told me that it's not proper procedure to mop the floor while in the order of keeping the conduct of the chicken, also while the traffic of other's that doe's work at the Restaurant or moving through. she started yelling at me saying that this is not about the manager "Ms. val" I don't care what she said in a loud voice, "Your going to mop the floor" I had the scaper in my palms cleaning the flour ben.. I replied in kind of a loud voice as well saying, that "I can mop the floor!! I was just saying that Ms. Val, the head manager have told me that it wasn't severe to mop the floor while working in the kitchen, and then she told me to clock out and go home. I would like them to review our conversation on camera as for the date of April 20, 2012 from 4:00pm to about 8:00pm.. and then they will see for themselves that I am no Ho' at doing what needs to be done. I don't really know if I am trying to save my job or either see that her ass is dismissed!!
VEHEMENT is putting it mildly!!! I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I went thru the drive thru of this Popeye's located on E. Bonanza while on my lunch break on 4/17/2012. I started watching my calories for health reasons. I must say the lady @ the window assisted me, as she took my order with excellent customer service. So I decided to go back today 4/18/2012 and order the chicken wrap as I did yesterday. It is only a $1.61 nothing at all to pay, when I usually spend over 5 bucks a day for lunch. But like I stated, I was watching my calories. I pulled in approached the speaker and asked to order a chicken wrap WITH OUT the WRAP ( a heavy, large, flour, tortilla) Which makes up most of the chicken wrap, in addition to the calories. Immediately with out any thought the woman-behind the speaker said "No! We can't do that) this was @ 12:30 noon Ironically there were no cars behind me. That should have been a red flag to me. But I was hungry and apparently oblivious too. So I said I would pull forward to the window. As I approached the window I repeated the order and the woman said "I told you NO we can't do that". My reply was: What do you mean you can do that? She says in her very broken English, You have to buy the chicken strip separately and it will cost you more. @ that point I requested to speak with a member of management. She rolled her eyes telling me I am the manager. SMH because I'm hungry, my lunch is just about over. I didn't believe Melissa, because the badge she was wearing did not indicate manager, and her appearance defiantly was not that of a manager over seeing an eatery. So I became upset at this point. I asked her what was the problem? mentioning that my request was not rocket science. I didn't want anything free. All I wanted was my chicken strip and tablespoon of red beans and rice that come in side of the wrap. No more no less. She asked me how is she to prepare that. With tears in my eyes, because I was starving and my time was limited. I said... Look lady, how difficult is it to place a chicken strip and a tablespoon of red beans and rice on the the paper you wrap the wrap in. She says:" well it's gonna take four minutes to cook, because you dunt tell me if you want the chicken spicy or mild". Then she request that I park off to the side of restaurant as the chicken cooks. And some one will bring it out,Because customers were behind me. I asked her what the hell am I? and I refused to move until she gave me my order. Amazingly the chicken strip appeared before my eyes. But the saddest part about it, was after all of the drama ,I returned to work late and hungry. I was afraid to eat the food Concerned that It may have been tampered with. A word of advise to Corporate and Franchisee alike. I will be sure to spread the new about my very poor service at this establishment and with that said. Hopefully the drive thur will continue to look like a ghost town until your business is no more. And when it happens, Just remember the service @ your establishment is POOR, POOR ,POOR : (
I found this site to complain about the bad experience I had at the Popeyes on Hacks cross Rd in Memphis, TN. Well I called the corporate number and received the second worst experience. I soon found out that the reason why the stores are so bad is beause the main office is bad. If the head is bad then the body will follow. I was told 3 weeks ago that a manager would contact me about the complaint that I was was plaacing and still no reply. I left my phone number and E-mail address and nothing,suprise. My experience was so bad, I still have not visited that resturant since that day. I am one of the lucky ones, because there are other resturants in the same area that I give my money to now. I also tell anyone who listens,about my bad experience with that location. I have lots of family, friends and co workers who value my opinion. Above asks for my rating. The lowest is 1 star for poor. There should be another extended rating chart worst than poor like negative 4 stars for the worsts, bottom ever services.
Tuesdays have got to be the worst days of my life. Tuesdays have only taught me how manipulative customers are. I work hard to ensure thay everyone gets their food fast and accurately,AND its really hard to do that when customers ask for special orders. "can I get 2 legs?",i want 15 orders all separate, 3 with biscuits, in 6 I want spicy, 2 with 2 peppers, in one I want one p..." WE ARE NOT CATERING TO YOUR NEEDS! We will give you the chicken YOU separate it! And STOP asking for ketchup! Do y'all really think we have enough for everyone on tuesdays?!?! QUIT ASKING "what kind of specials do you have?" ITS TUESDAY ITS ALWAYS THE SAME! ITS ADVERTISED ALL OVER THE STORE!
Popeyes in Lansing Michigan THE ONLY Popeyes in Lansing should do away with that Tuesday 2pc special. You get 2 pc meat fofr $1.29. Now mind you it was 99 cent. You all had the nerve to raise the price and dont include anything else. But my complaint isnt price, I actually have two complaints. Why do we have to drive around after buying ONLY 2 specials? If I want to order 6 specials why do i have to waste gas and drive around 3 times to get 6 boxes of chicken? Makes no sense. And it really makes no sense if all you got is a credit card. You see 3 popeyes transactions can cause an alert. You already at the window you should be able to get as many as you want. Secondly, Lansing should do away with the Tuesday special because last night was the 4th time that they didnt have what I wanted. I drive up get 2 specials and then drive back around only to be told we only have spicey wings and thighs? I mean are you serious? Most families have little kids that can only eat legs. And now you telling me you dont have any mild NOR do you have mild legs. This is the 3rd or 4th time i have pulled to be told this mess. Just do away with that specials. If i cant get WHAT I WANT I can go somewhere else. Matter of fact, I will just go to KFC. They never tell me they are out of mild ANYTHING.
hello, i love popeyes and visit ther at least 3-4 times a week for lunch. drive thru is long, they (managers) have such nasty & smart attitudes. i used my free meal one day and a manager in warner robins ga said she was tired of us coming in there about FREE food. No matter what i say or how many times i ask for spicy chicken, when i get back to the office to eat my WHOLE order is WRONG!! when i go back to tell them my order was wrong, one had the nerves to say..." if we never get your order right, why you keep coming back?" that was rude!! very rude. they need more friendly ppl working there. its only one popeyes in warner robins ga. the managers act as if they're UNREPLACEABLE.....but then again they are. your company never seens to just pop up
I would like to begin by giving a little background about myself. I have worked in both retail and fast food. I have worked in a Chinese laundry, Burger King, Menards, and Comcast. I have a degree in Psychology and, currently, I am in nursing school. I give you this background so you understand that I have a very good understanding about CUSTOMER SERVICE. I imagine part of your training involves customer service and that, as long as the request is reasonable, the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. The closest Popeye’s Chicken is ten miles from where I live in East Chicago. I gave my four children a choice between Popeye’s and Little Caesar’s Pizza which is a mile from my house. My kids are on spring break and I am busy writing a paper so my time is precious. But, for my kids, I will drive ten miles through heavy traffic to get your chicken. When I arrived at the Popeye’s located in Griffith, In., I presented the cashier with my coupon. It is an 8-Pc Family Pak coupon offering either eight piece of mixed chicken or eight Louisiana tenders with aside and biscuits for $12.99. My wife has ordered here many times and asks if they can split the chicken and tenders giving us four of each. They have always done this and we always return. When the cashier asks the “manager” Kim if this was alright, from the back she said no. I am only guessing her name and position because I could not see a name tag and she never came to the counter to speak to me. She remained in back socializing and laughing at my request with another employee. I tried to explain that the request had been honored in the past but she continued laughing and socializing, swinging her arms, slapping her fist to her hand, and repeated that “we can’t do that”. I asked for her name and said I would notify corporate about the incident. She was indifferent. I understand she was trying to do her job but she failed miserable at customer service. EVERY customer is important. EVERY customer represents an opportunity. Happy customers return and bring more customers. Discontented customers do not return and spread bad publicity and we all know bad news spreads faster than good news. An angry customer may react violently and may cause harm to your employees. Luckily, I am a discontented customer. I left and took my crying children to get pizza. I will not be returning unless that policy can be changed. I am not going to waste my money, my gas, or my invaluable time on company that does not appreciate my patronage. I live right down the street from McDonald’s and half a mile from KFC. The only difference to me is service…more importantly very good CUSTOMER SERVICE. I await your response.
My husband and I frequently stop by the Popeyes located at 601 Malcom X Avenue in Washington, DC. Today was the final straw and we will never stop there again. First, they never, ever voluntarily give you sause. Today, we had two small orders of rice and they gave us one spork. We have not ever received a complete order and by that I mean napkins, straws, appropriate sauce, or keptsup. In fact, we have never been offered ketsup or sauce. Finally, I must say that after trying to navigate your official website to lodge this complaint, I will never write to you aqain. Clearly your company does not appreciate or care about the customer.
I was at the Popeyes location in Merrillville Indiana on April 1,2012. The restaurant was out of chicken, mac and cheese,red beans and rice as well as biscuits. This was at 4:15 in the evening there were people waiting 20-25 min. and longer. The lady taking the orders never said may i help you too take my order. Second of all they were standing around as if they were on vacation. While waiting I've observed a worker sitting on the counter top doing nothing.While preparing drinks they did not use the ice scooper which is not sanitary. A female worker was playing with her ears and was about to make my order after i've been waiting now 30minutes. I asked her to wash her hands and she went to the back and got the manager instead of washing her hands. I told him i need her to sanitize her hands and he said she did. I said she couldn't have she came back to fast instead of him telling her to wash her hands again. He told me to leave his restaurant and don't come back. If this isn't a total insult i don't know what is. This restaurant was nasty and in a total shamble. As a manager he said he couldn't even compensate for the wait and inconvenice. After being kicked out the restaurant. I drove to another Popeyes in Griffith Indiana to be serviced. I should have never had to do this. I had already drove from Gary Indiana to Merrillville Indiana to get Popeyes Chicken. The gas prices are high every where but to have this happen is terrible. I went to another Popeyes and the experience was totally different. Again the manager named Cody said get out of my restaurant and don't come back!!!!!! I will NEVER patronize this Popeyes again.
I have been to popeye's 3 times in the last week and today wasit. I went thru the drive thru and asked for cajun rice as my side order; well when I looked at the receipt, - noticed it said mashed potatoes as my side, so I looked in the box and you best believe there were mashed potatoes in it. If you can not understand English or speak it, you do not need to be working in any capacity of customer service. Needless to say the rice was dry and over-cooked; this was the fourth and last time that popeye's will get my business. Like the other person said, there are a whole lot of other and better choices to choose from. The customer service sucks!!!!!
Went to the Popeye's in Horn Lake, MS (same one featured on undercover boss w/Ms. Zappone) for a carryout order. It took the staff nearly 25 minutes to process/fill my order (8 pc meal and a Po'Boy). I asked for large Cajun fries as one of the sides ... The store wasn't particularly busy, mostly carryouts and drive thru orders. When I got home I noticed there was no side order of large Cajun fries just chicken and biscuits. That's the second time that has happened to me at this particular Popeyes. 'Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice - shame on me!' I waited ~ 25 minutes for a simple chicken order and they still managed to get it wrong! Phoned rhe local Popeyes manager from home. The best she could do was to put me on a future 'correction list'. Right. No luck at all with the Popeye's 877 line. On hold with the computer for 10+ minutes before I finally gave up. Won't go back to that particular store or any Popeyes. There are too many other choices (Church's, KFC, etc.) that want our business and give better customer services.
Today was the second and LAST time I will ever eat at Popeyes! Just two weeks ago I tried it out in Lemoore, CA, they didn't give the extra sauce and extra biscuit I paid for. When I called and went back they handled it correctly. I was pleased. So, today I was going to give them another shot. We ordered an extra biscuit, got home, come to find out we didn't receive our extra biscuit. I called went back and got my biscuit. So when I finally was able to sit down and eat, my drink order was wrong. So once again I called. After being on hold for 5 minutes, one of the female managers called for the other manager and said, "Chris its that one girl on the phone who complained about the biscuits and now she wants to talk to you yet again!" When I heard that I was totally appalled!! How RUDE! I made sure and told the manager Chris that that was totally inappropriate. All he said was sorry ma'am. I'll tell my staff to keep an eye on the orders and properly complete them. Well that was the second time I heard that today, and if he really did say something to them then they wouldn't have had attitude! Needless to say I will NEVER eat at another Popeyes again! Working for a corporation myself and my parents owning their own business, I would NEVER have any employees who were as noncompliant and rude as them!
Popeyes is going to hell and fast. We live in Johnson County, KS and frequent Popeyes often. Went there to get a 8 piece chicken box and told the gal to make sure to give me 2 nice breast because the last time they were so small compared to what they had been. Got home needless to say there was only 1 breast the size of a thigh and 3 thighs, 2 legs, and 2 wings that looked like pigeon bone. Tried to call them for 20 minutes and it became apparent they had the phone off the hook because of it being a special 8 piece sale night. So I got back in the car and drove 7 miles to show them the mistake thinking they would replace the whole order since by now it was obviously cold. Told the gal at the register what had happened she wouldn't even look in the box she just said give him a breast. No apology, no sorry, no nothing. I said wait a minute it was your mistake and I would like to get a fresh box of chicken and you can take this one which hadn't been touched. She turned around and walked away. Of course I kept on saying this isn't right I have a family at home waiting for hot chicken but she acted like I was non-exsistence and wouldn't do anything more.I have never encounter such a rude, non complying manager in all my life and I'm in my 60's. To make matters worse the chicken pieces look like they came from cornish hens. The drumsticks are 3" long and the size of the breast are unbelievably small with hardly any meat. What is going on? If they are going to cut down on the sizes they need to cut down on their high prices.Managers are their to make sure the customers are satified and you are there to make sure people nice large pieces of chicken. Seems like KFC is the only place now to get a decent size piece of chicken and good service. I was a customer @ Popeyes a couple of weeks ago and the way the Manager talked and cussed out an employee was terrible. I was @ the Popeye's in Wash, DC, Malcolm X & Martin Luther King dirty store and dirty employees. The girl was pratically crying she stated to the manager she needed to leave at her appointed time to get her baby. If that was my daughter i would have went there and whooped his ass, who the hell do those unprofessional Manager think they are go outside smoke cigarettes come back in and don't wash their hands (unsanitary)and wait on customer handle money no wonder people get sick.
We will never again stop in a Popeyes chicken after the treatment we got both from the Monticello AAr. Franchise AND from the corporate office. My wife placed an order and aftr about fifteen minutes asked the atatus, the girl said kind of matter of factly "we gave yours away", no other explanation. The manager did redund our money but when my wife walked back in the manager and the staff were having a big laugh about the incudent. A call to the corp office said we would hear back from them, that was over two weeks ago, NOTHING!!!! If you want to eat and get some service with out being humiliated go anywhere else!!!
To all Popeyes Chicken Customers... I have read all of your experiences with PC inc an I am so sorry to hear all the bad experiences that you all have encountered. I have not or ever have I worked for for Popeyes Chicken but it seems to me that i have to fault the Managers, they just don't care anymore i too am suprised that some stores are still in business. I have had the joy of working working with the public for 20plus years and for some reason Popeyes need managers that care.I had had the pleasure of working for Godfathers Pizza but as of Dec 31,2012 my owner decided to close the store, but it won,t stop me she has had me under her wings to 20plus years and i have learned a lot. I am a person who can make decisive decisions while operating a fast and friendly environment. I believe excellence in customer service is important to the success of a business in order to capture and retain customers and as a manager, I reconize the importance of developing motivation and the williness to pitch in and help others. I am a touring national and international standup comedian that's originally from Maurice, Louisiana, now living in Galveston, Texas. I have traveled this country for the last 15 years and for me there is nothing better than driving into a town and seeing a Popeye's fried chicken, it makes my heart happy..When you are as spoiled to great flavors like I am, finding a Popeye's is like finding gold at the end of the rainbow..Popeye's is Mardi Gras in my mouth, lol..And not only here in the U.S. most in Military Bases overseas as well, S. Korea for one..the first thing I look for when I hit a base is Popeye's. Thank you so much for putting them EVERYWHERE I travel, Cajun gotta eat, and we like to eat GOOD. I am in Merrellville, Indiana right and just finished my wonderful 2 piece with red beans and rice, soft buttery biscut and a big old cup of tea, now I shall take a nap before my show tonight. I purchased $22.00 worth of spicy chicken last night for the local Popeyes. Waited 20 mins order wasnt filled. Took another 10 mins. before recieving the order after taking it home to my family we found out that it was RAW on the inside, unebitible. After returning it the very next day manager on duty Spence Viscone refused to replace the order that we had paid for, two words come to mind unsanitary and flimflam. To make it worst he attemted to trow the raw chicken away while dening the replacement. 334-414-0892
I don't know if Popeyes corporate office really read the comments, but just to let you know this is not the last you will be hearing from me. I've contacted the Rainbow Push Coallition in Chicago. I will also be contacting the NAACP. I went through the drive thru at Popeyes located @ 452 W.Ridge Griffith,IN on 4/24/12 around 12:50pm.The total for my order was $6.95.When I reached the window I started to count my money to pay for my order. The cashier looked in the car asked did I want water in my ice cup, I asked for with my order. I told her no, "I just wanted ice". The cashier turned away and said something racial to another white male employee. I really couldn't make out what was said, because I really thought I was just hearing things,until the cashier walked back to the window.The cashier looked @ me,a black woman,and said "You can't pay for your order with change, I don't have time to count it. I said "excuse me,these are quarters and I have money,can I speak with your mgr".The same white male employee,I saw her say something too,was the mgr.The mgr walked to the window and I said "are you guys serious, sooo! change is not money?and they are quarters". The mgr. said in a real nasty tone,"just give it to me".I said "what is your name sir?", he says "Mark",I say "Mark, what?..He says,"It doesn't make a difference".I said,"Oh its gonna make a difference,you better believe that".I pulled away from the window and walked inside to get the name of the employees, but they were acting like I was a problem."RACISM is so WHACK"...but I be damn if I'll ever let anyone make me feel as I felt at that momment again. POPEYES I WILL SEE YOU IN COURT......
