Party City Corporation Corporate Office & Headquarters

My daughter worked for Party City and without going into detail she quit after a few months due to very poor management. Party City only pays their employees via a VISA debit card. Took her FOREVER to ger her first pay! They kept saying they turned in her paperwork but I'm not sure where it was for those weeks she didn't get paid. Further more, after she quit, she still had over $50 on her debit card. She attempted to use the card, but a freeze was put on it!! They are now insisting she fax (not mail) a copy of her social security card and drivers license! She already provided that to Party City when she started! It is now March 7, 2011 and after repeatily faxing and calling ADP TotalPay Card, they refuse to close her account out and mail her the remaining balance due to insisting that they have not received her letter. We faxed from three different fax machines several times since December 2010!! I'm not sure what is going on, but I would NEVER recommmend working at Party City or having ANYTHING to do with ADP TotalPay!!!

I was an employee at party city in the WI area. After I was let go it took them 3 months to process my cobra paperwork. I had a DMO and they sent in PPO paperwork. How hard is it to pay attention? Now my plan is messed up until the BBB or my cobra provider get the Party City HR Dept to correct this issue! Does anyone work in the HR any more? I dont get a return call and no one is ever there to pick up! Is the company going in a downward spiral or is it just this Dept? I hope we can get this issue resolved quick!

I am 52 permantly disabled, crippled customer of Party City store at 3177 Lebanon Rd, Hermitage TN 3/3/11 and experienced the worst thing that has EVER happen to me. I have shopped there every since they opened and spent $100s of dollars with them. Today I went in to buy a case of sterno and look for some sweet 16 party merchandise. The metal case of sterno and other items were in the bottom of the cart and I placed a breakable yankee candle on top of my open purse along with some small items that would have slipped through the slots of the cart. I approach a young male worker and ask where the sixteen birthday cards were I had went up and down the card isle and could not find any. He came over looked to my cart and said oh they are all mixed in, much to my dismay he then told the mgr he had seen me place the candle in my purse and instanly I was acused of shop lifting. No keep in mind I have no legal problems no priors, no record I am old and disabled and have my right side, hand and elbow crippled. A young girl came over took the candle told me the boy had seen me place the candle in my purse, how stupid with all the other stuff in the basket and I was fixing to check out. She grabbed my purse, my arm and I told her she could look in the purse, but to let go of me she was hurting me please please I begged, I could not break away from her. Since I a crippled it is not like I was going to run off or had anything to hide. She hollowed for some name and two or three other girls came running over and all of them began to jump on me hurting and binding my bad arm, hand, and elbow which I can not bend and all is swollen red and finger nail scratched now. They used excessive force I would even say I was asaulted. The policeman came and we spoke. He and they discussed a previous case the prior week and seem to know each other. I was appauled at their rudeness and when they calculated the dollar amount the must have placed or fell in my purse it was $86.98 as opposed to the main cart which was no where around my purse being more than that. As I was on my way upfront to pay for everything when they literally jumped me. They were like a feeding frenzy. Now I will have my day in court, but they will also for hurting me and falsly accusing me and I am not so sure that I may file assault and excessive force. Even if I were a shop lifter, I would hate to think in this day and time at Party City they dont let the police handle things they become judge jury and hangman and would be willing to physicall hurt a disabled person or any person over $80 something dollars. These teenagers are just angry abusive children, and this corporation should not reward behavior such as this and realize it might cost them more than $86.00 once my attorneys are done. I am proud to see young people working but this company needs a strict policy on suspected shop lifting and it should not be that a gang of teenages try and attack and physically injure their suspects. I was set up and I will have my day in court over 86.00. I will now call corporate office to get their response if they really intend to pursue this.

We had shopped online to figure out what we wanted to get for our son's birthday party, but since we have a store right here in Mankato, figured we would just pick it up there. We were running late and got to the store 5 minutes before closing. The manager seen us park and start walking across the parking lot and literally hustled over to lock the doors. 2 cashiers saw our disappointment and said something to her a smiled. I guess a closing time is only for those already in the store. You need to be there a little sooner to actually get in the doors. Since we knew already what we wanted, we would have been out in 5 minutes anyway. Now we leave messages with customer service and no response or call back. I guess this company just doesn't need our business or care.

After going to the local Party City store (White Plains Rd, Bx, NY)and being promised if I give my email address and spend a certain amount of money that day, that they would email me a 10% off coupon for future purchases. Well after doing such, I have not received a thing from them. Also, during the Halloween season, they advertised both in the store and online that if you spent a certain amount of money, you would receive a photo album. I submitted all the information and the receipt information online, and to date I have not received anything. I have called and left numerous messages to the Party City Headquarters office located in New Jersey, and to date, I have never heard back form them!!!...They truly have poor customer service skills in their stores and in their headquarters!!!.....

I SHOP AT PARTY CITY QUITE FREQUENTLY HERE IN MCALLEN TEXAS, BUT HAVE MADE MY LAST PURCHASE AT THIS STORE. I WAS THE ONLY PERSON WAITING, NO ONE AT THE COUNTER, AND I WAITED. FINALLY THE PUNK GANG BANGER FINALLY SAID SOMETHING IN SPANISH, I SAID WHAT AND SHE REPEATED IN SPANISH AGAIN. THIS WENT ON UNTIL I FINALLY ASKED HER IF SHE SPOKE ENGLISH, THEN SHE ASKED ME IF SHE COULD HELP ME. FIRST I WAS NOT WAITED ON THEN I WAS RACIALLY HARRASED. OH AND HER NAME IS AMERICA.

Very rude service. I just wanted to ask a simple question and instead I got an annoyed sigh and a quick, unhelpful, rude response. Needless to say...Party City will be losing a lot of businesses not only from me, but word-of-mouth spreads very quickly and I DONT have anything nice to say. (Plus with social media nowadays think how easy and quick it is to tell 1,000+ of your 'friend' on facebook, myspace, twitter, etc. about a bad customer service experiance...yikes).

worst customer service at the store in the plant in van nuys. i was approached by a young female employee who told me not to touch anythng because i wasnt going to buy it... first of all i felt exstremely embarrest how can this lady assume i have no money to buy stuff from them and second of all thats the worst customer service ever. they are very racist and make you feel unwelcomed. worst of all i asked to speak to her manager and he was no help at all. he simply said they tell everyone not to touch anything ..? i find that hard to believe. i was dissapointed by the way they handle the situation i dropped the iteams and left and hope never to step into their stores again.

Party City in Merrillville Indiana is a bad store. We tried three times to shop there in 6 months. Every time the help was rude. The last time we asked to see the manger and he was rude too. This corporation needs to take a serious look at this store. We wont be back to this store ever again.

I think that Party city needs to take a better look on how they deal with employees who work for them! I worked for them for a minumim of 3 mths and was told 2 minutes before my shift ended that I was being let go! before Christmas. then they had the nerves to ask me if i would stay later for them, uhhh NO!!!! are you kidding me?...wow anyways this one is located on 845 cortez rd west plz E, in Bradenton FL was hired for seasonal but again still the wrong way to let someone go on the other hand the manager was there all day during my shift except for the last few hrs and didnt say a word about it to me! It was put on the Assistant manager to tell me and was still handled the wrong way! Starting to feel Job places all over are thinking of employees as a number and nothing more! They think well there is plenty more around. I was a very hard worker and was called in most frequently, this is why I felt used.

Party City Lakeland FL ...the worst place I have ever entered RUDE and know nothing I am not sure why any of them still have their jobs...from the manager to the employees...BAD< BAD < BAD...I will never step foot in one of your stores

you would think that after working for 9 years at party city at full time your job would be safe. but you get a new manager and she has the balls to frame a co manager to get him fired .then she cuts your days from 6 to one how in the hell are you to care for your family in a company where managers can cut your hours like this overnight and get away with it

2nd part :the that asst mngr. just told me in a nasty way again. "JUST RING ""stop talking.but the customer was still gathering her stuff from the counter .So i finally told her :pls. do not be so rude. , then she started Yelling at me .. JUST RING ! i was so embarrased of how she reacted. yelled again "GO HOME and clock out " !really embarassed....so i left the every employe front , looked for the manager . she was in the office . i was shaking while i was telling her that i just got sent home.i explained to her what happened.So she asked me to gome bec. i was upset.Then i saw the customer outside and she went inside and apologized to the asst mangr and told her it was her fault.Iam asking the dm of this store to help re solve this matter .i want to be treated fairly and not lose my job. I want this treatments of just being she is that mood. WE , employees of the store are human beings too.She needs to take some classes regarding work ethics.I hope this letter would give a lesson to all management staff ,working together with respect and customer service has to be 101 %.If you are going to be in that MOOD , just stay home and we, employees of party city desrves respect too.Thank you.

I am a current employee of party city forest avenue , staten island.i have been trying to send an e mail to the dm of the store.i have issues regarding one of the asst . manager in that store.work ethics is the issue here. Since im started working there about a year ago,this asst manager had arguements with customers , so many complaints from employees.But what i don't understand how she gets away with. I guess nobody had really foloowing up on that issues or maybe it was not reported.I enjoy working at party city , but i think i desrve to be treated like a human being.There were so many incidents where she would come to work in a bad mood and just be rude to me. For example, I would ask her a question and she would just answer me in a nasty way as if i was really stupid.There are a lot of customers that will come up to me and say "that lady seemed not to like her job ".Recent incident , last fri. a customer came up to me and one of the co employee .She wanted to talk to the manager .Then after she talked to the manager ,she was telling us what happened to her the day she visited party city,She gave a description of the "manager duty " in charge that day . from the description , WE GOt it . It was HER , the nasty, rude and no work ethics asst manager.A lot ahppened that day ,she was in that mood again.And guess what. She had no one to pick on except me."SHE SENT ME HOME" !Because i asked her not to be rude. I was ringing..i called for help in the front. she came up. on the line i had this customer who remembered me from the other store i used to work for.she had a full cart of stuff. so while ringing of course she was talking to me. when i was done ringing her up, she was trying to leave the counter so i can take the next customer

I HAD THE UNFORTUNATE PLEASURE OF SHOPPING AT YOUR MACON, GEORGIA "PARTY CITY" STORE ON PRESIDENTIAL PARKWAY. I FOUND THE STORE MANAGER BRIAN TO BE RUDE AND IMPATIENT WITH HIS CUSTOMERS. HE LOOKED ANNOYED, TOO BUSY TO INTERACT WITH CUSTOMERS. HE WAS MORE INTERESTED IN TALKING ON HIS WALKIE TALKIE THAN ANSWERING MY QUESTION. I HAVE BEEN SHOPPING AT PARTY CITY FOR AT LEAST 6 YEARS. ALL OF THE PERSONAL PERFESSIONALISM IS GONE. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS OR DIRECT ME TO ANOTHER STORE, OR I'LL HAVE TO SHOP ELSEWHERE.

AFTER READING ALL THE NEGATIVE RESPONSES ABOUT YOUR STORE............I AM DONE! IT'S NOT THAT SERIOUS! YOU DON'T EVEN TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES RIGHT, BY PAYING THEM! SO WHAT DO WE, THE CONSUMER THINK YOUR TREATMENT TO US WILL BE! MAYBE THAT'S WHY WALMART IS BIGGER! MAYBE THEY WILL CUT DEEPLY INTO YOUR BUSINESS! THERE IS A NEGATIVE WEBSITE ON FACEBOOK ABOUT YOU!

Attention to all the Party City Employees who have NOT BEEN PAID YOUR MONEY for working there. Go to the Department of Labor and get all the information that you need to get all the money that you worked for. This is not right and you are owed your money. Take them to court and sue them. Trust me is works. And they will see that you mean business. Why BECAUSE I DID!!!!!!!!!!!

hi my name is dennis i work for a party city store and have not gotten paid i have bills and children and they are giving me no info on when just that the store manager called corporate this is bs and i am calling the labor board

Well I worked in the store when it was Halloween City and then worked 60 hours weeks through the transition into Party CIty. First off they didn't even follow standard labor laws. Even with a large poster in the back of the store stating the specific laws, John (the manager) proceed to tell me i could not take 2 15 minute breaks per 8 hours and told me i had to work a 12 hour shift ( at minimum wage mind you). Also they had the floors re-done which left a chemical smell throughout the entire place and gave multiple people headaches. Also to make matters worse they issued me a ADP TotalPay Card to receive my paychecks. One for Halloween City and then another for Party City but John didn't not send in the paperwork when he should have so now his employees are not getting paid until potentially 2 weeks from now. It hurts me financially so much that I plan on doing anything I can to get my money that I worked for and to get this manager John Fired and possibly arrested.

I was promoted to general manager in the middle of october at one of our new halloween city stores. Mind have you i picked up quite a mess of a store,...the pay was really good but the retail aspect sucked butt. It took forever to get my paperwork processed and get me paid acurately. I have not been paid past the 29th of october when i worked through the 12th of november...mind have you i am a salary worker. My assistant and I both punched in our hours over the partycity retail.net every week right up until we had to pack the I.T. stuff up. However upon talking to corporate they say that it is not a payroll issue but human resource issue. I am resorting now to filing thru labor and industries because the corporate staff is rather rude and unpromising. So as far as them inviting me back next year it wont happen. They owe me around 1800.00 dollars...............
