Dec. 28, 2011. I placed an order by phone around 12:30am. I ended up calling back at 2:30am to see why the pizzas had not been delivered. A woman answered the phone knowing that it was me. She said "The delivery driver could not deliver my pizzas." I asked "Why not?" She said "No one answered the phone." I said "Come on, We work directly with the O.R. in a hospital, Someone is always in our department and I had been sitting at my desk the whole time! The phone never rung!" I asked to speak to the manager and she said I am the manager. I asked about my order again. She said "We are closed and are about to walk out the door. There was nothing else she could do for me and for me to have a good night!" Then she hung up the phone!

I am an employee at your Chaska MN location and I have a complaint that needs to be addressed. Please contact me at 317-225-3712, this is a matter that needs attention concerning payroll activities. If I am not contacted immediately then I will be forced to explore other avenues to get this issue resolved.

Look I work for papa johns and I have to say this. If you were at work and your costumers screamed at you cursed at you and talked to you like a piece of dog poop. How would you act if it happened all day every day. I know we make mistake, but to abuse the person taking your order just to get a pizza fix is wrong. We dont like geting talked to as if our iqs were under 50, like a vast majority do. If you need something fixed, just be polite and it will be returned. Cuss and name call is a quick way to the dial tone zone. since the company knows how rude customers can get. Most will never get in trouble. Not saying the employees are never at fault. Some are, most have done it before, but only a few stupid employees are guilty of it day in and out. I am very proud of being employed with papa johns been working for 13 years in food last two at papa johns. Have to say it will probly be the last I work. back to my point speak to us as you would like top be spoken to. Or dont call I dont need to be treated like shit about one pizza when I have hundreds of others too make. but I would be more then happy to remake it for you, dont have to be a dick about it

I work for Papa John's in Michigan. You people need to go to papajohns.com and make complaints. I can guarantee our corporate office has no clue about this forum. I stumbled upon it while googling if it was rude to ask for a tip back the next day after receiving a large tip this close to christmas. Most of these complaints are probably fraudulent. Most of them look like they were written by children. My guess is it is other pizzerias to boost sales. If a store gets a nasty complaint sent to corporate, the district manager will be out there to check on things. We had an extremely rude black woman in our store. She was insulting the employees and the customers. Our manager very politely took her money out of the register and gave it back to her saying "I am very sorry, but, due to your manners towards my staff and our customers we can no longer do business with you." Of course she dropped the race card and the police had to be called to remove her. She complained and out came our district manager. When this happened we knew a black person throwing around the race card would get us a visit from corporate. We asked the customers if it would be ok if someone from our corporate offices could contact them about this issue. They were happy to help us. Most of the time when I deal with incorrect orders the customers are rude right away. If you people don't get what you want we are the bad guys. I know my store is always willing to remake orders at no charge and deliver them if neccesary. I could go on and on about how bad customers can be on the phone. You people over react and then you think you are calm but you are already upset your food is wrong. Just relax and speak normally and try to come to an arrangement that works for you.

Here is what I wrote after receiving a substandard pizza in CA and the Mgr hung up on me....after looking at this page I'm wondering how PJ's can still be in business...Lots of Dissatisfied (non-returning) Customers! OK for Pets? Really, is it that difficult to make a cheese pizza?! This had to have been the worst cheese pizza ever made on this planet. I complained....they sent another.....and half of it is still in my refrigerator waiting for the Mgr. (Johnny....day later and still waiting) to pick it up....a half is left because I was starved and ate two pieces....and the dogs another couple. Johnny, genius that he is, left a VM with my roommate that we had stolen the second pizza....seriously would anyone ever go to a sewage treatment plant and steal solid waste?....same old....same old. I called again to explain our disappointment and suggest Johnny pick up the remaining half pizza and refund our $20 ($5 was a tip).....Johnny hung up on me!!

I ordered my pizza on the phone Dec 10th about 4:20pm. The person who answered the phone said the order would be ready in 20 minutes. I got to the facility 30 minutes later about 5:10pm. It was busy other people were waiting too.There were 2 people behind the counter -both on the phone- both looking down at the computer screens and one person walking around going to the front and back-checking orders. None of these people looked up to see I was there. The 2 people on the phone side by side were taking care of the same person on the phone.The one woman ALICIA, who is the manager said I'll be with you in a minute. I had been standing there for a while before she acknowledged my presence. I told her that is a pretty long minute & that I had kids in the car and was in a bit of a rush. I asked her to check to see if the order was ready so I can pay & go. I told her it doesn't seem seem time efficient to take care of the same customer while others just want their order & go? She said with a snotty voice several times while I was trying to make her understand my point of view-YOU CAN CANCEL YOUR ORDER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WAIT! I asked her that's your solution I want to talk to a manager. She said I am the manager and then spelled her name in order for me to write it down. I told her I would write a complaint about her-then told her SHE SUCKS! I then demanded that she check to see if my order was ready & to ring me up. I was very upset that she didn't care if I cancelled my order. Management should be able to take phone orders,e mail orders and take care of customers coming in without these kinds of problems. We all need jobs & revenue coming in these days even if it's for 2 pizzas.With that kind of customer service I will not be going back to that facility. She should be fired and others taught how to truly manage their time on the phone,e mail orders and customers who come in who just want to pick up their order without the hassle of being ignored or disrespected. Papa John's Pizza should represent a more caring attitude toward their customers. I have a child with autism who earns pizza tokens for good behavior on a daily basis.I would have left that facility if I had the opportunity that day. I didn't want to disappoint my child.I will be expressing this experience to other folks in Corona including my family,neighbors & teachers at the school. I have been a loyal customer to Papa John's and I will not return. ALICIA should not represent any managerial position nor any postion at Papa John's. Rethink the people you hire as a team members & remember time is important to everyone.

I ordered a pizza online. Then realized I marked carryout. I called the store immediately asking if the pizza could be delivered the employee took my information and said yes. Also quoted me a price of $22. Which is insane because my order was only $15. After I asked him how much delivery was he said $2 then quoted me a price of $16. Still incorrect. I waited for a pizza that clearly was not being delivered after I called back and spoke to the manager BJ he told me "Oh we dont have your order and we dont deliver there. He basically lied to me and told me that my card wasnt charged (which it was) and then sent me on a wild goose chase calling another store when obviously they did have my order and screwed up. So now 2hours later my card is charged with no food. These people are completely clueless and do not have any idea of what customer service is. I will never order from Papa johns ever again. This experience has soured me. I have no confidence in this brand and is suggesting retraining on math and customer service. How hard is ordering a pizza? Ordered a L pizza for carryout at the Saugus Papa John's store on Seco Canyon. I picked it up, and drove home, which was less than 5 minutes away. I opened the box and it was cold, and completely dried out. I refused to eat it, and when calling the store to ask for another, they would not cook it until I arrived, which meant I'd have to wait another 30-40 minutes to eat. I find their service unacceptably poor and they do not try and correct service issues, when a customer is dissatisfied. On top of this, the manager at the store refused to help rectify the situation. Then, when I tried contacting the District Manager, they refsed to return my calls. I will not order Papa John's at home anymore because of this store. If you ever have a service issue, noone cares to help and forget getting a district manager on the phone to discuss your problem. There are too many other choices in pizza, and I can get better service elsewhere from Domino's or PizzaHut.

I live in Phoenix, Arizona, and the 3441 W. Northern location is the place I have purchased pizza's for the last 14 years. I was given a magnet for the location, and have used it ever since. 30% of the time I get treated rudely, and several times a Jeff (might not be his real name)happened today too 12/5/11)2:00 I'm told they don't deliver here. I only continue ordering here, because I have health problems, and I'm a senior, so It's difficult to drive at times. IN addition in the past the pizzas have been burn, due to malfunctioning oven. Manager said if I came in at another time, he'd make me another, and said it was probably the corn meal, or spray used that probably cause it. I'm very disappointed, but if you don't want my business (which is obvious from the other negative comments)I won't.

I order pizza at your Sandy Springs, Ga location weekly. In the past 3wks there has been a black lady who answers the phn. Very professional and smiling all the time; however the boss speaks to her as if she is "DIRT" everytime I call and I go into the store. Last night I was with my children and she as usual was friendly, and working hard. He loudly yelled at her in such a disrespectful manner all the customers in the store was floored. She had tears in her eyes and my son (11yrs) said why us he so mean to that lady ALL THE TIME? She is the friendliest, professional employee at that store. If there is a such thing as employer verbal abuse she should sue him immediately. This is all the time, and she always apologizes for this obessed,sloppy rude jerk. He never smiles and he is just a horrible excuse for an employer!! Was told he was the General Manager, you gotta be joking! Rude people need to be re-trained and or re-placed!! 4ppl stood in the parking lot discussing how horrible he was to this young lady! Oh and please look at her presentation (uniform) and his...maybe he should go and get advice from her. I personally would like to apologize to this young lady on behalf of ALL EMPLOYER'S IN AMERICA..

you say "better ingredients, better pizza, PaPa Johns. I say if that is the case, why is your sanitation grade a 92 and has been that for quite a while! Your competitors are far out doing you with grades 100 and 101. And their pizzas are good. This is in Sanford, N.C. We used to order at least every two weeks but not anymore. Now it is Dominos or Pizza Hut. PaPa John you need to send someone to Sanford and get it right or it is going to go under!!!!!!

Do you people even read your own stupid ramblings? Your complaints are idiotic, and in many cases, YOUR OWN DAMN FAULT. In the others, do you not think other pizza companies make mistakes? Cause I know for a fact they do. Many of these complaints don't even use proper English, further showing the idiocy of the complaintants.

I was very disapointed with the service i received at the Brand New Location on Jackson Street lawrence Ma. My friends and I ordered food, after waiting for half hour our food was given to the wrong customer.After the fact that the food was mistakenly given to the wrong person , the customer was able to keep their own pizza and + ours. The employees offered to remake our pizza but still charge us for their mistake,we did not want to sit their and wait another 20-30 minutes for a pizza. For a first time walking into a Papa Johns location i would never step foot there again, i felt very mistreated, there was no professionalism whatsoever. One more thing I would like to include was the cleanliness of this place was not at its best peak. employess did not use gloves, were opening and closing pizza boxes and breathing down on them very disturbing. Even after calling the next day to speak to a head manager in charge about yesterdays incident, I was spoken to in a very rude disrespectful manner, and was told they offered us a free pizza when they did not, in fact they offered us a free pizza when I responded to them I would go on the Papa Johns survey page and write a bad review. Never Have I walked into a place where they have done this. BIG NO TO PAPA JOHNS !

I love Papa John's pizza, but the service I have received at the Papa John's on Hwy 601 Mt.Airy NC location is TERRIBLE! It seems everytime my husband and I call in a pick up order, we have problems. I said last time, I wasn't going back..but I gave them another chance, and they blew it again. I called in a pick up order on 11/17/11, the girl on the phone said it would be around 20 minutes. When I got there to pick up my order it was no where to be found, in fact the manager argued with my husband that it was never even called in...I was furious! The manager said for our time and trouble we would receive a gift card in the mail...he took our name and address, which it was POINTLESS to even give it to him because we NEVER received the gift card. I won't be going back to Papa John's any time soon...HELLO PIZZA HUT, you have a new customer!!! I wouldn't recommend anyone in Mt. Airy to order a pizza from Papa John's, unless you don't mind POOR customer service!

I AM CURRENTLY EMAILING THIS COMMENT WHILE ON HOLD FOR 45 MINUTES WAITING FOR SOMEONE AT MY PAPA JOHNS STORE TO TAKE MY ORDER!!! I AM EXTREMELY UPSET!!!!! After previous unhappy experiences with Papa Johns I thought I'd give them another chance tonight, tried to order online as they never seem to get the orders correct over the telephone. Server down, so called thru they took order, repeated back to me on arrival order wrong yet again Coke not Diet Coke arrived, the delivery guy says "not my problem" you have to call them, so when I did the lady whom took the call is arguing that its my fault!!!!! yes right why would you order something you don't ever drink, 05 mins of chat with the boss - you know we are talking £1.99 I ask you, so I just said forget it, give me the back the cash, luckily didn't use credit as problems before. So c**p customer service, whole order OUT THE WINDOW all for a bottle of coke. Never Never will I use this company ever again I will tell others not to bother either, hope your reading this whoever you are........

Here is my delima, add sent to me says that Tuesdays in November you get 50% off if you order by 4pm (see below -copied from the email offer). After trying to place an order and dealing with their online helpline that according to the recording I listened to for 20 mins today has been "Voted #1 customer service for 8 years in a row" I have not been able to purchase a pizza at 50% as stated. It seems that if you want to advance order a pizza - you have to pay cash, funny but the reason we were advance ordering is because it was for a corporate function - I don't know that many corporate offices that keep cash on hand these days... do you?? We love papa johns so dont get me wrong. We have been ordered only their pizza for many times and then one day...driver keep calling and asking my location (by the way this isnt a first time that they deliver!!..they been here so many times and this time a driver lost and calling me twice and I was explaining where I was and he still cant find my place so I called and cancelled my order by trying to talk to a manager and I told her that I would like to cancelled my order because he couldnt find my location!!! She have nerves to tell me that he knows the location and avoid my cancellation and very rude on the phone so my husband called them back and asking for Regional Manager name and phone numbers and they told us they cant give it out..!! WTF??? really???? This location is right in HOLLYWOOD, FL...avoid this location period..everyone just rude!!!

I have never tried One of your pizza's. By mistake I guess I ordered a double mushroom. When I got it, I was disappointed. It looked like A half order. I decided to try your pizza because of your slogan. Better ingredents, better pizza Papa John's. I asked If they had fresh garlick, And they told me no just garlick butter. Well better ingredents to me me would be real garlick, Not some cover up butter sauce. Don't think I'll be doin Papa Jonh's any time soon. Back to the home town pizza where I know the owners, And know where they buy there stuff. Sorry Papa Not In My House!!!!!!
