March 8, 2012 at 8:40 pm, I arrived at Papa John's on Carrollton Ave in New Orleans. We parked directly in front of the store. My friend got out of his truck and approached the door of Papa John's. A female employee was coming out of the store and placed a brick in the door to keep it open. He asked her if they were closed and she said yes. He came back to the truck and I told him to go to Subway which was located next to Papa John's. I waited in the truck. About 10 minutes later (8:50), I noticed a man at the front door of Papa John's. He pulled on the door and a male employee came to the door but did not open it. The man asked if they were closed. The employee said yes. The man asked what time do they close. The employee said something to someone in the back of the store, then he unlocked the door to let the man in. At that time, my friend was coming out of Subway. When he got into the truck, I told him what I witnessed. I then decided I had to address the situation with the employees of Papa John's. I knocked on the door and the female employee came to the door. I told her that she told us they were closed and let someone in 10 minutes later. I asked to speak with the Manager. The female employee then asked if I wanted to order a pizza. Its 8:55 pm. I told her we had Subway. A black male with tatoos on his arms passed me and went to the front door. He opened the door for two young females to enter. I asked the female employee was the manager going to talk with me. She said he was the manager. He was busy flirting with the young females he opened the door for. He passed right by me without addressing my concerns. I told him that their behavior was unacceptable. Telling customers that the store was closed when it was not, is not cool. I believe the store closes at 9 pm. He apologized in a nonchalant manner. I informed him that I would write to complain.
hello my name is ayad ,my wife and i ordered (3)pizza two nites agao it took one houre and a half ,when i first call the lady that ans the phone told me the driver was on his way ,and that was about 50 mintes from the time it was ordered,when the driver got to our house he said he was sorryand very nice.and he also said.we are missing some workers tonight, and he just left the restaurant not too long ago,and i did find out that he had no other delivery but ours only.so i call back.some lady not sure of her name ans the phone,and acted like so hat?.so i told her i do customer service,and i know for me to do my job correct is to to tell my customer the correct things.not to say anything that comes out i ask if they have a( 1-800 ),she said no,then i ask if there was a manager on the floor,it took a while,for some one to ans the phone,but at the end some guy did get on the phone,he was very nice could not ask for a better assocaite,than him.he understood what wan going on Dear sir...i do not usally do this ,but as a saleman customer service person it took me to a an other level,i am sooy if icause any proplem ,but the service was not the greatest In closing i just want to say thank you ,and to say thank to the other memeber who works there and i hope the next time it will be better AYAD KHEIR 1059 OHIO

When I went to their loc in Nazareth Pa. the girl that was covered with hickeys(gross) told me you can not use this. only for a online order but it says call with a phone # and says you will have to surrender coupon when used. Why bother not very hungery after looking at all the marks on her !Will not go their again.

I AM SO WITH SUPER PISSED MOTHER A FEW POSTINGS UP... I was at my friend's house last night and hadn't eaten all day and was looking forward to having pizza with my friend (a peaceful night was all I was looking for). Well, we went online and placed our order at around 7:30 p.m. The email confirmation we got was that the pizza would arrive 30-40 minutes. Oh, so about an hour draws near and finally the delivery guy shows up with some lame ass excuse that he was so pissed that he had to wait on my pizza being made. What a crock of "BS" as I see from some of these other messages here. He didn't bother to say that I would get a coupon for 10 or 15% off my next order...no, he said thank god, this pizza was "now" hot since it was so late. I don't know how many of you have called the corporate office - I am going to and I am going to demand I get some "free" food! I have been a long time customer of Papa John's but that could all change every time me and a lot of other people stop ordering from them. I even put in a tip for that driver online. All he said was oh, yes, but I did see that you tipped me. I'm sick of this "shit" of poor service by a franchise that is making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year and they are not even thankful or grateful to have the general public like "US" spend our hard earned money to keep them staying in business. This is from Atlanta, GA. People don't know the meaning of "work" for servicing the customer! I normally would have complained right then and there if I was at my house, but I couldn't say anything in front of my friend. The attitude of the driver was like, I owed him something and that he had an explanation all planned out for me as to why the pizza was so late. Normally, people get discounts or a free pizza next time around, don't they??? I'm calling corporate to get my free large pizza.
I've only ate Papa Johns pizza a couple of times. The Pizza is not the worst Dominos is but, they don't have the pizza I like anymore "the Sicilian" so tonight 2/26/12 I decided to go with what the guy had offered the "five sausage pizza". My husband and I took our first bite and it was disgusting. It tasted like a taco, kind of. I like taco's I like pizza but, something about about this pizza was wrong mostly because I'm pretty sure it wasn't supposto taste like a taco. It was a waste of money because the pizza went into the trash. I've learned from experience, you don't call and talk to the manager of the store because they don't care and don't do anything about it. Wow now my stomach is hurting. Im guessing it was probably bad. I will survive But I will never eat papa johns again and won't let anyone I know. Pizza Hut is always consistantly mediocre but that's what we can depend on!
Dear papa John, I just had a bad experience with an order. My daughter Kristina, has an online account and decided to order. She checked and told me they had no specials only 19.49 I told her not order the usual two pies only to order one. As luck would have it. Your commercial was on t.v. Any large pie any topping 11.00. I spoke to the manager about the ad he said we had to order on line only. I tried to tell him that we always order on line,he just repeated the same thing only raiseing his voice. I told him we are the customer and maybe he should let me talk,or we can order for someone else. After about three minutes he called us back to say pay the person,11.00 plus tax. I thing this manager, should receive some sensitivity training in customer relations. All I wanted was satisfaction,and to order two pies. I will continue to order. ORDERED FROM THE NEW HOWELL,Nj location on RT 9......... Order arrived, I tipped the gentleman 4.50 and was ready to try PAPA JOHNS with family of 6. Opened the box and they forgot to put the toppings I ordered on 1 pizza. Called store and was told "SO WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT?". Now, let me get this straight....... I paid the money , tipped the driver.............. Oh it must be my mistake to want what my family paid for and ordered. The rudeness alone when I called back made it so I will never order from any PapaJohns and will go out of my way to make certain all of Howell,Nj stays away. When in Howell( or anywhere else ) STAY AWAY FROM PAPAJOHNS RT9 SOUTH. GO TO SEASONS COLD FIRE PIZZA HOWELL NJ. THE BEST PIZZA, BEST PERSONELL. MY mistake for wanting to help out a new establishment and try papa johns. HIS COMMERCIAL AND PRODUCT IS ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY...... A BIG LIE
Iwas going to be a first time customer,however, I could not get past the rudeness of the person that answered the phone all the way the the "general" manager (claims to be the boss)whom told me that he did not give a s--t what I thought. Good Luck with your product but there are alot of other good polite pizza places that will receive my personal and corporate business.
I'm sure this will be a waste of time, but I'll throw my hat into the ring and let you know there are bugs in your website and getting it taken care of would help to make for happy customers. 90% of the time I order over the internet and you guys had been batting close to a thousand, but a pizza I ordered this weekend should have sent the system to the minors. I ordered, or so it seems attempted to order the Spinach Alfredo, I received a cheese pizza. The pie was good for a cheese pizza, but I enjoy getting all the little extras that comes along with multiple toppings and can honestly say that I was very disappointed this weekend. I went back and checked even if I have selected a pizza that I've ordered a few times in the past, I know for a fact I've never ordered a cheese pizza, the website reflected what I received, so somewhere in there something didn't catch and true to form you people delivered what the computer told them to.
the box would of tasted better than the sausage and olive thin crust lge pizza i bought in mesa, az tonight. i don't want coupons i want my money back plus a bonus for eating this junk/ i would be more than happy to show papa john how to make pizza in my kitchen in oregon. terrible stuff. i only ate it because i was hungry. i have 2 pieces left that i will send to you.
I was at your wierton wv papa johns and could not believe what I was seeing.You had people handling money and not even going back to wash there hands.I had witnesses this three different times by two different people.The customers would come in they would wait on them and go right back to work.I will never go back there again.And yes I made sure to see if there was a sink to wash her hands and no she just picked the pizza doe back up.
So I order pizza for my kids at bout 7pm and they say it will be 45 mins to a hour. Cool no problem.... An hour pass and I call to check my order and they say it should be here in about 15 mins. Fine.. Then an half hour later I call back and they say that I don't even have an order placed! BULLCRAp! I ask to speak to a manager and instead of asking what the problem the starts defending the Idiot who was taking orders. What kinda of establishments employee total Morons? Papa Johns in Hinesville, Ga. Should be closed down due to incompetence!
I'm rating my experience last night as two stars because at least the pizza was good. The driver was nasty and rude. Wouldn't even get out of his car. Just kept repeating the same. "Papa's John's. Please come outside." He sounded like a cop ordering somebody outside of a car. Thoroughly obnoxious. It's the last time I'll get a Papa John's pizza. The store in question is on Minnesota Avenue in Washington DC.
Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN store has horrible service, soggy pies, youngsters running the store who couldn't care less about customer service. I ordered two pizzas for delivery. I was told they would be delivered in15 minutes. I waited 30 minutes, called and wastold by the staff as an explanation "MY BAD"! I had to go pick up the two pizzas I had already paid for! There was no compensatory offer made or any acknowledgement or apology for the error. The pizzas were cold and soggy! No more Papa Johns Pizza for me. Pizza Hut and Dominos from now on. Papa John, you need to fix these issues before you end up closing stores due to customer and business losses.
Papa Johns made a promise of a free coin toss result of a pizza and Pepsi. Now, I am notified that I was not registered. I did register, but they claim that I was not registered. So, they do not come through for me on that promise. My word against theirs. Yet, since November, they have used my personal information to forward their ads. I am glad that there are other pizza places with good pizza to fulfill my needs. They chose to not honor my honest claim; I just go elsewhere to spend my pizza money. They keep one pizza and lose many more dollars!
triangle va papa johns is a scam they charge u a delivery fee of two dollars that doesnt even go to the driver.i asked the driver if they use that money for his gas he replied no! so what the hell exactly is a delivery fee? the store is not bringing it to you just a corporate way of turning a 11 dollar pizza into a under 20 pizza after tax is also included.so in this i say papa johns is a JOKE!!!
Ok I ordered online for delivery from the center point, al store at around 9pm. A couple of minutes later I get a phone call from the store telling me that they don't deliver to apartments after dark even tho I live right across the street from the store and its not a bad area or anything. Then they tell me they won't meet me anywhere instead even tho I used to work for papa johns and delivered to people plenty of times myself where I had to meet them because they lived out of our area. Then I'm told I can't pick it up because they stop carryouts at 8:40. Really? 8:40? Wtf kinda bs is that? This company has gone way down hill over the years and I can't imagine they'll be around too much longer if the people that work there don't even wanna make anyones order after 8:40 when their open till 11. I wonder what there doing in there every night for those last few hours? Corporate defenetly needs to get involved. I tried to file a complaint on their website but it keeps directing me to order and won't let me. Does anyone know the site to file a complaint on or had a similar experience? 2/08/12 Ordered pizza and watched manager take my cash and them start to make my pizza. When I questioned him about washing his hands after touching money, he said "I usually do just forgot this time"... BUT he continued to make my pizza wihtout washing his hands... UGH I aske him to wash his hands and make a new / clean pizza. He washed his hands and started another order for take out.. Another employee came over and took the same dough the Manager started for me and began again to make my pizza from dough that was touched by the manager with dirty hands.... Get this this manager stood right in front of me and watched the other employee use the same dough I complained about. I told the manager to forget my order and give me my money back.... Called corporate office and left a voice message / complaint... NO ONE called back. Called again today 2/14/12 put on hold (so far 8 mins) to speak to Customers Service with my complaint..... NEVER NEVER AGAIN will buy Papa John's Pizza...
I ordered some pizza online on 3-15-2012 from your Papa Johns store on State avenue in Kansas city, Kansas. The order was for one large cheese, one large hawaiian with NO BACON and two cinnamon pizza's. I pick up my pizzas and go home only to open the box and find BACON.. Our household does not eat bacon. I call and speak to the manager who tells me that he will re-make it, fine. I drive down to go pick it up, wasting a bit more of my gas (mind you that gas is 4 dollars a gallon) only to have the employees stare at me as if it is my fault that the label clearly said NO BACON on the side of my pizza! I pick it up with no sincere appology, no compensation or discount.. no 20 ounce free coke for the time wasted not to mention the gas!.. NOTHING... I am not looking for a free meal, I am just looking for my order to be correct and the customer service to be good. Pizza is NOT cheap! The customer service needs some major work at this location as no one seems to really care about their job, the customers or themselves! I will not be returning there again!
