Wow nasty service and nasty pizza, ordered from two notch Columbia south Carolina, horrible service the so called manager did nothing to fix the situation will NEVER order from them again

Never received my email code for the free Superbowl pizza and Pepsi..... What happened??????

Alright so i ordered pizza today(Large 1 topping) and i expected to wait a long time because of the free superbowl giveaway but i didnt mind. But no they were promptly on time in 20 minutes and the pizza was great! im very satisfied with the product. To anyone who wants to know i ordered from the alhambra, california store.

I just received 2 pies I ordered online. Though the process was simple, the delivery was a sad surprise. Super Bowl 2012, I order early only to find early the wrong2 pies. Harlem NY's Papa Johns on West 145th street and Lenox has been an on going source of disappointment. From lack of customer service when phoning the store, to the stores inability to properly manage problems, (that they seem to have alot of). I wonder who the owner is... but whomever he or she is they are unable to expedite customers orders efficiently and really it seems like they don't care. My family doesn't order pizza much, but when we do it was always PaPa John's. After several years of being disappointed from this particular store I have now figured out the solution... try Pizza Hut. -Good luck Harlem ...

Papa Johns' in Pittsboro, NC sucks Last Saturday I decided to stop into Papa Johns and give them a try. It was about 2pm, so I figured I would not have to wait long. When I walked in, there was one lady ahead of me, but nobody at the counter. I figured they were getting her pizza. After about 2-4 minutes, someone finally started walking to the front. He was in no rush that two people were at the counter. He stopped to talk to a few people on the way. Then this guy seemed clueless on how to enter the lady's order into the computer. After waiting another 3-4 minutes, I walked out. I drove to Domino's and ordered a great pizza. It was awesome!!! After getting home, I went onto the Papa Johns website to complain. I promptly received an email saying that they forwarded my complaint to the owners/managers of that store. After one week, the owners/managers have not contacted me. Now I see why their employees do not care about customers, because the owners/managers do not care. I would stay away from Papa Johns. Why give you hard earned money to people that don't care about you. Stick with Elizabeth's or Domino's.

On 2/2/12 I placed an order for 6 pizzas at the local Papa Johns after spending over 2 hrs trying to get the online order to work. The pizzas we for my students who had earned a reward party. Most of my students are from low income families and don't get things like this. The order was specifically for lunch but the manager indicated that our regular lunch time was not possible due to being so close their arrival time to prep for lunch. I was told that they could be delivered at 11:30 which was fine so I prepaid for them. The pizza shop is at the end of our drive and can be walked to.I called at 11:50 after waiting long enough only to find out that the manager placed the order for 11:30pm and that our pizzas were never made. What school is open let alone eats lunch at 11:30? Plates were requested ut not sent and the delivery person didn't even wait to give the pizzas to us. They just dropped them off and took off. Additionally, we were shorted a pizza and we had to wait another 20 minutes for the missed pizza. At 12:30 we finally got the students lunch. I was offered no appology, refund, or free pizzas at a later date. Papa Johns professes quality customer service! That is a pure lie. Customer service was vague and only offered to refund my money and no other form of compensation for making my students wait for their lunch many of which have emotional problems and could have lead to physical altercations. I find it ammusing that your company can advertise customer serviceses are a priority and then turn around and be so ignorant and shallow.

Way too many issues & complaints with Papa John's pizza's.. customer service & delivery not to mention their deceitful charges. Makes you wonder if they spit on their pizza pies. =x

So I ordered pizza and the guy called and said to be at the door in 5 minutes. After 20 min of waiting, I called him and asked when he was going to show up. He said that he waited in the lobby for 15 minutes and called me 5 times. I had 0 missed calls and we were by the door the whole time. Obviously we would of seen him at the door. He tells me to call the store, and I do. The manager argues with me that I was lying. She told me that I had to pick it up. Obviously I got it delivered because she doesn't have a car. I told the lady that i would need a refund since she couldn't do anything about it. She said it would take 2 to 3 business days. I told her that i still needed my pizza and she told me that it was my fault it didn't get delivered. From then on it all went downhill. I may have called her a name or 2 and told her that i will call papa John himself. I'm calling corporate tomorrow and sending multiple emails about her. It is on. We'll see whose fault it is in the end!

I just got fired/quit not quite sure with the whole confusion in my mind right now. But I got to work and checked out two orders to take on a delivery. I then found out that both orders had to be delivered within a certain time frame, and had to unassign one order. Management has already been a bit rude in the store, but I let it slide past me. Then when I returned on this particular day I was already faced with the time span of having been rushed to get the order out, I grabbed the wrong receipt (my fault), and then didnt have time to even get a new sign because the one I had was not working well. So as a result of this, I got chewed out and the owner of that particular franchise was there and was a bit rude with me (not as rude as management). So I had to put everything down to check out two other orders that were running late and got chewed out even more. I had enough and pretty much quit, but overheard the words of letting me go...so I am not sure which one applied first. Anyways this had to be the worst job I have ever worked. I can handle fast pace with some people on to me to be efficient, but when that push goes to personal attacks...!! I will say that this store will never receive my business and never have a positive comment on my part, and I will encourage many to take business to another store. Anyone who thinks about working for this company, think twice before you even fill out an application. Make sure the management will work with you and train you in areas needed instead of yelling at you for making a mistake as most noobs will.

the pizza was good but you are advertising falsely i ordered the $11.00 pizza and plain bread sticks my bill came to almost 21.00 dollars the add said free delivery but i was charged 3.00 and when i called they said you have never had free delivery and was rude about it. SO whether i like your pizza and bread sticks or not you have lost my business plus my friends and familys as well because i hate dishonest people . I will be calling corprate next. I have been a delivery driver for about 2 years now. I have worked for Dominos, Papa Johns, and Pizza Hut. The number one thing that has annoyed me as a delivery driver is the people who do not tip. We spend our own gas delivering customers' food, and we sometimes have to deliver quite a distance from the store. At the store I'm at now, there's an area we deliver to that takes a minimum of 20 minutes to drive to. When we don't get a tip from there, we lose money. I understand that a lot of people think that we delivery drivers get the delivery fee charged on customers, but in actuality we don't even receive HALF that delivery charge. Where I work now, we only get 88 cents for each delivery, whereas the store charges $2.50 for the delivery charge. When I drive 20 minutes a delivery, don't receive a tip, and drive another 20 minutes back to the store, I'm losing money out of my pocket and the store is still making money just for simply having a delivery. I also often don't receive tips from unhappy customers who don't receive the right food. 90% of the time, this is not the delivery driver's fault. Please do not take this out on us. When your delivery is late, it is either because the store is busy or a cook messed up the order and the delivery driver spotted it and told them to make it right. We do not mess around on deliveries, we do not take our time, and we most certainly do not deliberately make a customer's order late. Sometimes an order is just late because of traffic, and that's most certainly not our fault. We are as fast as we can be because it is our income on the line. We need the money. The more time we waste on a delivery, the less deliveries we get to take, and thus the less money we receive. As far as walk-in customers who pick up their orders, allow me to use one of my days at Dominos as an example: It was probably the busiest day I had ever seen while there. Our lobby was packed with at least 10 people, there 20-30 deliveries, orders were backed up, we were all scrambling around trying to get everything done in an orderly manner. We had customers complaining to each other about having to wait, and we actually had one customer stand there and refer to us as "retards". ...People, have you not ever worked some place that it was busy? Look around you when you're standing the lobby. If there's 10 other people in there I would think it pretty obvious that we are busy. Only so many pizzas can fit in that oven. We cannot make every pizza at once. I wish people would simply be a little more understanding. I understand there are stores out there with employees who don't care about the customers, and I am sorry for that. At the 3 different stores I have worked at, I have never thought of my fellow employees, and especially not my managers, as not caring about the customers. We have done our best, and sometimes we are still condemned for not being able to do the impossible. Please be more understanding people. Some of us work hard and do our very best for our customers.

I have been waiting for FIVE days for a refund on a late cold pizza we returned to their store because they would not come and get it. It was 55 minutes getting it; it was stone cold and HARD when we got it and then they were disputing even returning my $2 tip! I emailed them and now they were saying 2-5 days on a refund which I STILL have not gotten. I've filed a complaint with the BBB. Their management is rude! I will never buy a thing from them AGAIN!

Reference the "Lady chink eyes on a receipt". This is an opportunity for YOU to teach all your employees tolerance and proper manners. I don't think the teenager should have been fired. This was a great opportunity for your company to teach this and other teenage workers something. Why not invite the customer and the girl to a meeting that could result in a good training film. Are there SOP in place for orders? Are employees taught to ask for a name? Teenagers don't always exhibit the best actions. They also have a different view on words that we would view as "insults" or insulting. Listen to kids sometimes and what words they use to each other. We use Papa Johns all the time and have always gotten top notch service from them. I hope you use this opportunity and hire the girl back as well as educating your staff to proper SOP.

How can you allow your employees to type Lady chink eyes on a receipt in New York. I am appalled shocked and ashamed..How do you advertise on NFL games when you are PREJUDICED......would you put lesbian on my receipts......shame

I am 29 weeks pregnant. I entered my local Papa John's in Rosedale, MD expecting to receive my pizza, only to be told that they cannot accept my $100 cash tender. Carry-out closes in 10 minutes, but the manager advises me to go to Walgreens, which is down the street, in order to change the $100 so I can then pay for the pizza. As a paying customer, I should be inconvenienced? On Papa John's website, which is how I ordered the pizza, there is no listing of any policy regarding stores not taking bills larger than $20.

So I see a ton of negative statements on here about my employer, and all I want to say is this - not all of the Papa John's store's/employees, are rude and stupid. I know for a fact that there are decent managers and instore employees, as well as drivers. Reason I know this is because my general manager is awesome. He does whatever is necessary to make things right with a customer when they are un-happy. As do I. I am a firm believer of the saying "Treat others the way you want to be treated." So with that being said I always treat my customers with a pleasant and 100% positive attitude & a smile on my face. No matter what. So I guess what I am getting to is yes there are some Papa John's store's that are HORRIBLE and DISATISFYING, but there is also stores out there (Like the one I work for), where we strive to make the customer, YOU, happy. And treat you all with the utmost respect and positivity no matter how we are treated. So don't give up on us just yet. :)

I ordered online from a louisville ky store and after and hour and a half I called and they said o you ordered online that could take over 2 hours! WTF, he said had I called in it would have only taken about 30. On my confirmation email it said 30-40 minutes and now I am at the 2 hour mark with no pizza. The whole reason I usually never order from Papa Johns. They suck! This will be my last order with them for sure!
